Incident happened.08/14/2018. About 2:15 in afternoon in Edmonton, Alta. Very racist bigot compliant new manager and her equally disrespectful female racist compliant co worker. Elderly lady bullied by two male customers and staff member not to talk on her own phone. While out of control kids and even louder adults talking loudly and laughing and staff letting them be loud. Elderly woman told by racist much younger man and I quote'' Why don't you go back to your own country you God damn immigrant. Friends sitting across from them making loud noises using foul language. Staff allowed racist bigot to remain on premises. The new manager and her co worker should both be fired. I am thinking about bringing a lawsuit of blatant discrimination against the manager and a female co worker of this as of yesterday most awful and racist library called Spruce wood if they are both not fired for their bigotry. THE WORST LIBRARY IN EDMONTON!

Today was my first visit to this library location n I had to make sure to write a review as I was so impressed with the staff that is there. I am almost deaf n it is hard to talk to people in general n tje staff right from when i I walked in were polite..helpful..n very informative beyond what they had to be n did not make me feel insecure about my hearing in any means. I had also brought my 2yr old nieces daughter with me n again went over n beyond there duties n got down on the floor with her n played n let her help sign out our movies while I filled out some papers n things that i had gotten off the internet.. It isn't easy nowadays to find kind n generous n patient staff in most places so I definitely had to say something.. Amazing n friendly staff all around there..thank you so much for helping me as much as you did. I will definitely be back lots.

This branch is one of if not the best managed resource in the area, perhaps even the city in general. I've been a regular visitor at a lot of different branches in my life, and nowhere have I found better staff. They always greet people with a smile and a hello, and it's clear from watching them interact with community members that they're truly invested and have formed strong relationships with their regulars. Everything's always well organized and easy to find. And let's be frank - their 95th street location is going to present them with a lot of challenges, all of which they rise to cheerfully. Always a pleasure to visit.

It was a quick visit. But I walk with a walker and could easily get up the ramp. There was lots of street parking adjacent to the building. Both sets of the automatic doors were *NOT WORKING* It was quiet. There were two computers available out of the ten or so (I was there to print), the staff were helpful and kind. There were a comfortable amount of people there (12 or so) in the front area; more would have felt tight. Overall it would be a nice place to study and relax. (Mary Poppins across the street) ☂️

all the staff at this location is supper helpfull except the older lady , very grampy and she seems hate hare job :) and plus dont like other cultures , i mean the older people in edmonton town they get territorial and racist haha , but other that that supper helpful library , 2 star i gave becuse of the grumpy teddy bear at your location ( older lady with full gray hair i belive she is nearing retirment , and hope she gets some rest and replaced by happy to help younger ones :) thanks !

My favorite library in the city. The staff are what I want to highlight as they handle each person with care, love and compassion. They want to make sure people are safe and they want to make sure people who may be having a rougher day are being cared for. They make sure to learn peoples names and share theirs and it helps makes this library feel more like a home. These staff are incredible and make this library 5 stars.

Best experience One of the best community services in Canada are Public libraries Friendly staff Great ambience The Internet speed is good seat are comfortable. You can bring your device or use library device. Although one thing that was missing was they had less book related to science and engineering! Overall it was great I visited at least once a week EPL till my stay in CAD

I wish I could remember the male librarian at the front, but he was absolutely a fountain of knowledge and abllity to help find things and get to the sources. This is one of the best branches to go to, and there is a sense of enjoyment and special people at this branch. I would give it a ten out of ten for a mark.

Ive been going here for 7 years and the patience and willingness to help others has been great. We absolutely need to be more appreciative of people in these positions at these locations, they endure a lot so here is my way of showing gratitude.

My 6-year-old and I love this library. It's nicely renovated, and has a very calm atmosphere. Lots of great books for him to read; and he especially likes the Lego while I browse in my own section. The staff here are always friendly and helpful.

The staff seemed nice and professional enough however there is a loud atmosphere at this location. A lot of the patrons treat it like a drop - in center or a coffee shop and are oblivious to anyone else's desire for a calm quiet experience!!

Great! There is always parking, staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is always relaxed. Only the building itself is just not as inviting to "hang out" at (get some work done/study) like some of the other branches.

Came in to print off some lease forms and the lady at the front counter was extremely kind and helpful, best customer service with a smile I've had in a long while. Thank you guys for your help!

Same as always, I've no qualms or disputes with EPL staff. Even their security personnel are friendly and helpful, and if they happen to ask, I'm glad to support and assist in any way.

What a place i like to visit here . The atmosphere of the place was really positive and quite and here all the interesting books were available . I had read many book which were great.

Bright atmosphere, great staff. People at the computers can be noisy. Good selection of books, music, magazines and videos. I usually request books online and pickup.

The staff are great. They are so helpful and friendly. I see many people that might know how to navigate some stuff on the computer and the staff help.

I love this place for printing. Once I needed to use their computers. Very helpful, and great for the community, always seems to be full of people.

Staff are really good and patient. I go here basically everyday to use the computers and they help me immensely. Great place and clean too.

Always clean and well put together. They have a great children's section with a train circulating the ceiling.

Always do my photo copying and faxing from this location and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Nice library but too many junkies using the washroom area for shooting up and basically bathing there!

It's a convenient location for a public library and I needed the help and support in the area
