I was there on 2/21/2023. The store is very well stocked and has a very extensive assortment of mexican goods, produce, curios, and everything in between. I've gone quite a few times before and I had never had a bad experience before. After gathering a few items from around the store, I went to the meat department expecting to be served quickly as there was only one customer at the counter being helped.. I waited patiently as there were 4 staff members working at the meat department. I waited quietly for someone to approach me , there were no tickets to be pulled out at the ticket machine, so i continued waiting.. I waited over 5 minutes, before a lady from that department asked me what I needed. The staff member attending the only customer being served at that time told the lady that I was there and to ask me what i needed. The lady staff looked at me, continued doing her business and completely ignored me. At that time there were 3 males and 1 female working in that department. I continued to wait patiently and the lady went on her business, the male staff member kept looking at me but he was busy with the other client. When the lady finished what she was doing, she finally went and said in an unfriendly tone, what do you need, i told her the only 2 things i needed from her, she gave me what i needed and i left that department. As any other person, I don't like it when I'm completely ignored on purpose. I'm sure a "I'll be with you in a minute," or any other comment would've been sufficient to understand that she was "busy" and that I had been acknowledged as a valued customer, Im one that respects all people, I try to be as courteous as possible, and I understand very well when people are busy, and that patience is needed, but I don't understand when people are plain rude, disrespectful, and are uncomfortable, have no social skills, or simply don't like dealing or attending other people and they are filling positions where they have to be working and dealing constantly with other people. It was very uncomfortable for me to be there waiting for someone to help me, who was ignoring me and who was deliberately taking her time knowing that the customer either has to wait or take her business somewhere else. This has been the first time that i was treated this way.. And sadly to say, i will definitely think twice about going there or referring anyone there again. If a business doesn't really care for its customers, then its only because they don't really need their customers at all
This is a fantastic grocery store. Extravagantly low prices on a lot of things, especially produce, without sacrificing quality. Workers are mostly friendly and helpful, and, despite being an uncultured English-speaking monolingual, I have no difficulty navigating the store primarily geared toward Spanish speakers. However, I have to give 4 stars because of how poorly the meat counter is run. The quality and prices of their meat are good — however, the prices charged frequently don't match the prices posted, the procedure for actually getting service is confusing and inconsistent, and I've frequently been given vastly different quantities than I've ordered. Three times I've asked for half a pound and received closer to a pound and a half — and I know this wasn't a communication error because the third time the employee repeated it back to me and specifically asked if it was okay if it was a little over. It wasn't a little over, it was almost 200% over. That's a huge discrepancy. The first time I went there, there was nothing indicating how to actually be served and I had to stand there looking like a fool until someone eventually explained the number system to me. And several times I've taken a number and they've skipped over me — or, if they called it, it wasn't in a manner that I could hear. Would it be that hard to put up an electronic sign that displays which number is being served? The girl who usually seems to get the job of calling out the numbers seems very nice and like she's trying her best, but it's too big of a job with too bad of a system — and the result is stressful and disorderly even when the meat counter isn't crowded. The product is still worth the trouble — but with as little effort as it would take to improve the system, ensure consistency in pricing, and hold employees accountable for at least someone following directions, there's really not a good excuse for it to be as big of a mess as it is.
The best priced vegetables and meat in the state of New Mexico! They bring value to what matters. El Super caters to the refined flavors and menus of many cultures. Public bathrooms available! On a side note I want to emphasize what I believe is very important in business... They do not have any automated tellers. That is fantastic! What that means is you get to deal with a real human being at the register. They are quick to solve any human problems that you can have. They are expedient register clerks. They are super nice and even bilingual! I love El super because they don't fall back on computers to eliminate employees. I like The human experience in every store that I go to. If I wanted automation I would purchase online. I love the fact that a family of an employee is being fed because of the strong work ethic found in their desire to work. Not like the competitors of El Super that force you to scan your own items. If I wanted to do the work for a computer... I'd expect a paycheck every time I showed up to do someone else's job. At El Super, they have many registers running. So you won't find yourself waiting in a single line that's a 1/4 mile long like the competitors. That's due to the fact that every register accepts cash, credit, debit, and EBT. And that's great news for everybody! So if you haven't been here yet, then get out for a fun experience that is blessed with a bit of old experiences that haven't been forgotten by an awesome grocery store.
I love shopping here. Their produce is offered at great prices and had no issues until today. I was helped with the purchase of some meat, the attendant was attentive but I asked him to give me some chicharrones and HE SERVED IT WITH THE SAME HAND HE HAS HANDLED MY RAW MEAT. I asked him if he had changes his glove and he said no, he seemed confused as to why I was asking him such a question. I asked him if he would change his glove and serve me from the other side of the tray, which he went to do but he STILL picked up the bag that had the first handful with the dirty glove and continued to serve the rest of the chicharron, which I refused to take home. He looked confused like he didn't know what was wrong with what he was doing. I didn't make a big scene, instead I went to the manager to see if they could offer better training. I went and spoke with someone at the store and this lady gave me the impression that I was being ridiculous. All I am asking is that they offer better trainining and to take customer concerns with seriousness. People can get sick because chicharron does not need to be cooked anymore to be eaten. My husband was not happy about not having chicharrones!
The bakery staff needs training and better attitudes. I ordered a Frozen theme cake. Went to pick it up and it was a Moana theme. The worker who took the order told me that's what your husband ordered. I had taken a guy friend that speaks fluent Spanish so there wouldn't be a mistake like this! I showed her the Frozen picture in their sample book and even pointed to the round one with cupcakes around in the display case. She even asked if I wanted the Frozen toys on the round top and the rings on the cupcakes. So how did she go from understanding Frozen that day to making a Moana. There was no offer to give compensation or an apology. She very rudely rolled her eyes at me then took off the wrong deco n put Frozen. The cake was ugly and looked horrible with the wrong colors not matching the party theme colors. She also wrote the bday message in red n smeared my daughter's name when redoing the deco. If the bakery staff can't take orders correctly even with a translator then this store shouldn't offer this service. I'm very angry about the whole situation. I want the upper mgmt to be aware of this and rectify the issues with their incompetent staff.
Went to buy some produce and seen they have some salads already prepare to go in a clear container by the salsas. They looked very good and why not have a salad late evening. It’s healthier right? Bad decision. As I prepare my salad with the dressing it comes with I started eating it and it was crunchier than usual. It had a funny taste, I thought maybe they added a lot of pepper or salt since I could feel small hard looking rocks in my mouth, after 4 bites I couldn’t eat it anymore. I took the salad apart to look closely at what those small rock looking things was. It was literally dirt!! I washed it myself and got so much dirt from the salad!!! Worst salad I have ever had!! My stomach was in pain all night, threw up all morning. This salad was dirty and bad. Thank you for getting me sick because you chose not to prep And wash the salad mix the proper way. If you are going to sell healthier options like salads ready to go at least wash the mix or put a label on containers with a big WARNING sign to wash this ready to go salad. Shame on this store !!
They happily will violate your human rights. A human rights violation is a human rights violation whether it is committed on private property or not. Dogs have more respect than does management and staff at this filthy store. El Súper supermarket has The most horrible customer service and stuck up staff and management than any place I have ever been to. It is run by very disrespectful, blind, stuck-up millennial robot Dreamer sheep l implementing the Mexican version of Manifest Destiny. Expect to wait 45 minutes to get a pound of GM hamburger meat and another 45 minutes to pay for it and the GM vegetables They have no respect for the customers especially non-Mexicans. .These stuck up kids are dumber than a rock, they cry about being discriminated against by the government but it is they who discriminate against the citizens. What hypocrisy.. I was taught to treat others how I want to be treated, that does not work. Those pos hypocrites will be treated how they treat me. They are Donald Trump..
If I could give them a zero, I would. So I go in there to get change for a $100.00 bill, and I was told to ask the manager if I could, I asked him, and he said,"yes, as long as I bought something." So I went and got a Pepsi, and the cashier asked me that if I had anything smaller, if I did, I clearly wouldn't be paying with that much money, plus I had to go pay for my food from Little Caesar's Pizza. You should've seen the look on her face when I handed her the $100.00, like if I was ripping her off, plus I don't even know why she was mad, she had enough money to give me change, she didn't want to, plus she wasn't doing anything, when I first walked in, she was just standing around, if you don't like what you do for a living, I suggest you go do something that doesn't involve the public, simple as that, some people's kid's!!! ‼️
I rarely give a bad review but man this really hurt the pocket $ and put us in a very bad situation. Ordered two sheet cakes and they said there was no order. Showed them the receipt and they said if we did not have the original receipt stapled that the order would not be made. Ok you forgot to make the cake just say so but acknowledge you messed up not try to blame your customers. And argue with them for 30min. Store manager came went to the back and came out and said no order was made. But we will not give you your $ back until we had original receipt not a photo. We have purchase cakes from her dozens of cakes. Thank goodness American Express was able to help. If you order get a NAME KEEP ALL YOU RECIPES AND TAKE A VIDEO OF YOUR INTERACTION. So sad that customer service (cristal )is now no that here. FYI SAMS CLUB HELPED IN A INSTANT!!! And saved the Birthday Party
I usually don’t complaint but I believe that management needs to do something ASAP to improve store operations. Some of the workers there are always mad and not willing to help the customers. I don’t know if is because the pay or the way they are been treated by their supervisor, I just know that they all have a choice, and they chose to work for that company, so they need to be professional and polite with their customers. The last three times I went grocery shopping with my family, all I see is rotten produce, all the fruit I bought looked ok on the outside but all dry in the inside, it is very inconvenient when I sit down with my family to enjoy our fruit and end up throwing it in the trash because it is not edible, this is the last time I buy produce in el super, I rather go spend more money at sprouts for better quality. Thank you for your time.
If you are interested in submersing yourself in a virtual cornucopia of grocery shopping ethnic diversity - then this place has your name all over it. Ostensibly this grocery purveyor is modeled along the lines of what one might stumble across in a Mexico City strip mall, replete with copious amounts of that famous Mexican arrogance and frigid customer service. The type where employees suddenly feign complete ignorance of the English language when you present them with a question (despite hearing them rattle off in the Queen's English moments before) or my personal favorite - where they berate and openly insult you in Spanish in moments after a plea for help (presumptively assuming I don't speak Spanish - I do). The bottom line is this; unless your recipe calls for raw cactus, you're better off at Albertsons or Smiths.
I like to go there because they have specialty items that other stores don't have and their produce prices are much cheaper however they do not have enough cashiers so if you go there be prepared to wait in a long line I used to work there maybe about 4 months ago their systems are slow and crashed often so on top of the shortage of workers their machines are old do not go to the store expecting to get out quickly I remember people would be getting mad at me saying come on I have to go pick up my kids from school or have a doctor's appointment and I understand all that waiting sucks but I'm just warning do not go if you have important things you need to take care of expect to wait or make sure you're giving yourself enough time because I've seen people waiting in line a good 30 45 minutes
I usually love this store for many reasons. The prices on produce are great and they are a good quality. The different sales on all the meats are definitely a reason to stay shopping here as well as the quality. I don't get seafood too often but decided to this visit. Sadly, it was a mistake. My brother and I were second in line but the younger man behind the counter completely ignored us. He helped the two other women who were waiting but ignored us entirely. He then went and took off his apron and hat and walked away without a word. The older man who was behind the counter did not help either. He just went about his business at the fryer. Never have I ever had such horrible service from this place but it was enough to make me not want to go back to deal with that again.
I like the produce, there's so much to choose from and such reasonable prices. I was even able to find sweet limes, dragon fruit, coconut, guava, jack fruit and so many other fruits and vegetables to choose from there's so many different kinds of breads there's also a little restaurant in there. They have a place that makes fresh cheese, fresh seafood and a butcher there was a long line to get meat. Everyone speaks Spanish and theirs no self checkouts. Some items are over priced but they also have some unbeatable deals it all depends on what yr shopping for if haven't been here I would suggest checking it out. I don't go there too often so maybe that's why I kinda liked it. I couldn't handle getting my groceries there all the time.
Went to the market and notice they are not practicing social distancing. When I was leaving there was a girl revising your what you paid, I showed her my receipt and I was holding it. I didn’t want to give it to her because she had no gloves and noticed that her mask was falling from her face and was touching her face. She wanted to take my receipt and I told her no that I will hold it so she wouldn’t touch my receipt. She got upset at me and told me that I could bring my own reusable bags and I didn’t have to come back. I hope that customers don’t get sick from this place. Management need to practice the method that Costco does when you are leaving and have better customer service. A concern customer.
El Super is a large, full shop there anytime and (Deli, meats, seafood, bakery departments) catering to the Latino /Hispanic population. As an Anglo, I would shop there often if it was closer to my home. All the regular brands were represented in addition to the Spanish ones and the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful. You may encounter Spanish speaking only associates, but there are many bi-lingual staff as well. There were some scattered empty shelves which I attributed to COVID related supply chain interruptions, but it was about the same as you would see at any supermarket /grocery store. A good shopping experience.
We haven't been there in a long time. We went because they were having a great sale on produce and fruit. However, it was very crowded and not enough cashiers. Parking was a mess but we tolerated it. I have several disabilities and need handicapped parking. We parked almost too far for me to walk. But when we got closer to the handicapped parking, 2 different young drivers got into their cars and left. Those individuals should have parked elsewhere. That upsets me! Otherwise it was nice to shop there. We live in the far N.E. heights, it was a nice drive. Thank you employees, you all were helpful.
Very good store. Has an eatery. Has a little bit of everything. organization could be a little better, hirchata mix was in 3 seperate places. line for checkout was rather long, they had only 2 registers open, i went at like 1930 on a weekday. Eatery was delicious, I ordered tacos and the carne asada was on point. green chili salsa was spicy and flavorful. i ordered a strawberry bananna fruit drink and it was very good. girlfriend ordered horchata and that was also very good. store has good lighting. never saw any staff to talk to. good place to go to espescially the eatery.
I have ordered fresh juice here and got 3/4 off the bottle for a full price. 1/4 was total foam. In addition the associate shakes the bottle just covering the bottle with hand instead to put the cap. Even the associate have a glove still she touched other stuff in department and then she shaked the bottle. Pure contamination in the bottle. She did this twice and when I told her do not do that, it’s unacceptable, she just put cap and handled it to me and ask me if I still want it. I think Health Department needs to come there to do training. Just FYI for management.
I bought a seedless watermelon. When I got it home it was full of seeds I took pictures save the sticker and fed it to my chickens because I could not feed it to my young grandchildren. When I went back to the store to complain the the rude female manager refused to give me another watermelon Because I didn't take the old one. Plus she was bugging because I don't speak Spanish. I feel if you're going to sell Products you should stand behind it. REALLY A FREAKING WATERMELON!! I will never shop there again any other store would have just given up a watermelon.
It's a mixed review for several reasons. If you need specifically Mexican/Hispanic food items, they have great prices. You can't beat the bakery, the huge amounts of fresh tortillas, and the produce has a lot of things you won't find at other stores. They did have the apple-flavored soda I found in a local restaurant, so that was cool. Giant cans of posole, a brand of tea I didn't know but had 4 kinds of chamomile, etc. But for other "everyday" items, they were much more expensive than the grocery store. I needed a gallon of white vinegar and it was over $3!
Worst store ever. Two registers open with at least twenty people in line at each one. Meat orders take at least 30 minutes before it’s your turn. They have microphones to call out the numbers but do not use them making knowing who is next almost impossible especially because they barely speak above a whisper in such a loud place. Produce is cheap but old and nasty. Place stinks so bad. Workers are rude and after all this you get too bag your own stuff! I only came here twice for an instacart order and I won’t accept another one for this place again.
A huge selection of fruits and vegetable with a bakery inside including a place to sit and eat with family on a large selection of your favorites and delicious, they also have a meat counter to get fresh cuts to your liking. The only downfall is they are like walmart, they only have 1 regular cashier or 2 but one has no clue what she is doing as I just hate having to wait in these long lines like 4 basket full carts ahead of you. The self checkout is way to go but cannot purchase alcohol through them a you need to wait in the long lines
Aside from the long lines and lack of staff who could be there to help the customers who stand there because we like their products..... The selection of food itself is good. The food that is cooked for their inside market is over the top... Absolutely delicious!!!! Meat selection is top of the line as well. Staff is the one area where this store could use some help and adjustments. I'd say that one out of ten make your shopping experience worth the long wait that always accompanied shopping here with their friendliness and helpfulness.
Over all is good for Mexican store well done now employees are not to friendly they block the aisle when they are working dangers pallets on the floor risk to get run over they are careless the other thing they add is self checking is very good well done …. Open at least 3 more stores we need more stores like it it’s not 100% Mexican it’s world like store people from every were shop here well done on that part is nice to see people from all ver world here that why I give you 3 stars improve on those areas it be 4 stars on my next visit
Both my wife and I find this to be an eccentric store to shop for your groceries the prices are great they offer a lot of good discounts especially for the green chili which is pretty much the only location I know that provides fresh green chili you can get it without being cooked or baked whatever you want to call it or you can get it in small individual bags by the pound but I will say they're great chili is not only sweet and tasty but it also has the Heat that you want to eat good luck shopping and God bless him have a good day
This place has seriously gone down hill since it was the Ranch Market. I was told I couldn't enter with my backpack but they had no place to hold it. At 6:30 pm there was nobody serving hot food or aguas. The produce section was a disaster. Either sold out, rotten, swarmed with flies or too expensive. The other products from MX I was searching for I couldn't find & by the time I got to the checkout I definitely felt like I was back in Mexico with at least a 20 min wait to pay & get out.
Great grocery store that has a fantastic array of Mexican and traditional "American" items. Please don't be deterred from going to this store if your not a Spanish speaker. Signs are all in English and Spanish and the employees are very nice. If your a traveler and staying at a near by hotel they have wonderful hot food items as well as toiletries. There is such a variety of produce, seafood, cheese and meats that you would be silly not to check this place out. Enjoy.
This place has a dirty feel, high prices and it's really crowded. The lines are long and slow. The product selection is very limited on some things and way too much of others, like jars of cheese. At the front door, the security guard demands that people leave their backpacks in an unsecured room that anyone can access and they're "not responsible" for . And after all that, you are granted the privilege of bagging your own groceries. I won't be back again.
They have great sales on fruits and veggies but the staff is very rude!! Lines are always long because the employees are too busy talking to one another to acknowledge the customer. They don't even tell you the total they just look at you then go back to their private conversation. I only go here for the deals and only if I'm in the area (which is rare) and have an extra 2 hours. I'll never try the meat department again they only help you if you speak Spanish.
I liked it! It is near my house and has a very large variety of Mexican foods as well as a Eatery. They have a large variety of fruits and vegetables for very low price. But the later times is the best times to go in because it is a busy supermarket. I had to stop in to see if they had distilled water and they did. Along with all your other shopping needs from paper towels toilet paper can goods bread it's just not only Mexican food.
What a great experience during traffic time period might as well stop here and enjoy fresh roasted green Chile, and beautiful people. Thank you for being up so early and having a great grocery store with soooo much to see. Come get groceries that will not put a dent in your pocket. So many deals in the vegetables and fruit department. Go enjoy some time in the picnic tables they have inside next to the kitchen. FRESH TORTILLAS!!!
Excellent place to shop for fruits and vegetables. Produce are fresh and prices are good. You can also sit down and eat and shop afterwards. Their deli is always fresh and friendly customer service. Only thing is the check out lines are very long. If your not in a hurry and able to wait from 10-15 minutes in line if it's very busy. Parking gets pretty packed too. But otherwise, a good place to shop for food and non food items.
Lines are long but everything is pretty easy to access, great prices and open isles make it easy to find what you want and not get too crowded. Panderia makes amazing breads and sweets so don't forget to pick some up. Fruit and vegetables are fresh and are constantly being stocked. Fresh fish in the back are pretty average in pricing but they are good cuts! Everyone is welcomed and cashiers are very nice.
Well this store is just not that great of a store i dont think it is its too crowded they don't sell anything that i use its just a very different store then what i am used to the cashiers are very fruendly the one i had was very nice and he actually talked english so he really surprised me because usually they just talk Spanish the store is really crowded walking diwn the isle's is really hard
This place needs to hire more friendly people. Cashiers always have a bad attitude, I called the other day to ask about a cake and was transferred to bakery I had to keep repeating myself and I couldn’t even get all my questions answered cause they were wanting to hang up. I understand they might be busy, but from what I know about customer service you don’t turn away a potential customer.
You would think, "What a great place to get everything you need!" Although, the variety is great, the service is very poor. Most workers have long faces and poor listening skills. Customer service is no a highlight here. Usually this reflects on Management. Overworked, under appreciated employees give poor service. I wont be making this drive any more. I'll stick to El Mesquite instead.
Great Mexican food store but it's always crowded and Never enough cashiers. Also, beware of way too many people handling produce and bakery goods. They always have great deals on fruits n veggies. Good variety of cremas (homemade table/sour creams) and requeson (homemade ricotta type cheese.) Great cold cuts. Great variety of hot foods ready to eat. Freshly made tortillas on the daily.
I hate coming to this store I stop only on emergency I really hate there customer service cashier never said hello or nothing they always ignore you this time the I stop for bread for toratas she can't gave my recipe because she was more interested on texting on her cell phone I just got my purchase and left did not get my recipe I just left it there .it wass a blond with glasses .
Lots of good stuff to eat and drink! I was walking by and I seen the jewlery center in there and OMG I fell in love I wanted to buy everything the man that helped me was super sweet he was a younger man I bought a beautiful silver ring and on the plus side they do the resizing for FREE I was super happy and it only took 30 min to get it done looking forward to going back!!
Cool if limited selection and the non American non brand name stuff is affordable. Fruits and veggies VERY affordable at 1/2 to 1/4 the price at the normal grocery store and good steak for almost half the price. Thick T-Bones $8 a pound! Very cool place! Also have tables and an eat in cafeteria line type place inside. Will be coming here regularly wish it was closer!
Its horrible, the groceries expire quickly right after you purchased them, for example you buy them Monday and come Wednesday, it's even worse with the veggies. You buy them Wednesday and when you get home and put them in refrigerator and 2hours later when it's time to cook dinner there already turning bad, it's beyond disgusting
i highly dont recommend working here, they dont even offer days off for grieving. managers lie so much and they never gave me workers comp when i cut my finger bcuz i was the only cashier in the cocina n nobody was there to help make juices. they lied to the state when i tried to sue them for discrimination against my disability
Seriously don’t understand why they have such lazy people working there! No customer service whatsoever, they sent us to 3 different registers and when it was our turn the cashier walked away leaving us to wait yet again! We left because we were waiting there while the cashier went into an office and didn’t come back out!
Have always shopped here with no problems. Today was the exception, went to the meat counter and ordered my meat it was 1.49 a lb but the guy put in something completely different and was charged 3.39 a lb. Didn't notice til i got home. so not happy with my experience, it's a shame you have to double check the workers.
Pretty cool place. Huge Mexican store. It has way more than just food. This place was recommended for a Tres Leches cake. I got the largest one for $30. It was beautiful, good & a big hit They have a really nice bakery & cafeteria where you can eat inside. Mexican food. I would go to this bakery again. …
This store is great! Although I don't usually come here to shop, when I do I always make sure to stop and eat some of the tasty tamales and drink some of the fresh horchata that they offer. I just recently discovered that you can even have these fresh tamales delivered and I don't think I have ever been happier!
I felt like I was in a candy store only better. Not only do they have beautiful cakes and pastries but they sell fresh tortillas and juice. A very large eating area with lots of eating choices. The employees I encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. There is much much more for all your shopping needs.
The prices are amazing but the employees (cashier's and managers ) definitely suck you can tell they hate their jobs or life? Haha they are super rude and less than helpful . Also just so you know you can not apparently use more than one form of payment on the self check out or buy alcohol in self checkout
Terrible. I was trying to buy a Tres Leches cake for my friend's birthday, and I was completely dismissed by everyone. I'm a white guy that doesn't speak Spanish but I was trying to be as polite as I could. Had to leave without a cake even though they were sitting right there in the case. Don't come here.
Great vegetables, meats and bakery for remarkably good prices. Stay shopping on far aisles. The inside foods are pricey. Store is clean, spacious and produce & meats are fresh & good. Limited checkout lanes, long wait to get out, but great music & patrons used to waiting for such excellent prices.
Great place to get Latin American products, the lines are just huge! And the cashiers are so slow. If you decide to visit this supermarket make sure you with plenty of time to spare. Update You need more cashiers!! 35 minutes in line is not acceptable. You cannot treat your customers like this.
I like to go shopping grocery here they have tropical fruit in Asia country now they have Jack fruit and lychee I wish they will have Rambuta in future Now they got Rambutan; wow!!! love it Today 8/13/2020 bought jackfruits Melissas brand no good quality ( looking at photo 3&4)
Great for fresh vegetables, fruits and if you like Mexican food, their food area is really good. There's a lot ethnic vegetables and fruits I don't see at the grocery chains. The package things are a little more expensive there but the fresh fruits and veggies are much cheaper.
One of the best grocery stores in ABQ and such a convenient location on the west side! Their produce selection can put Whole Foods to shame at a fraction of the cost! Not to mention the great selection of cheeses, tortillas, and meats! A must go if your a home cook in Abq.
This is a GREAT store! Excellent selection of very fresh yet inexpensive fruit and vegetables. Lots of fresh meat - many different cuts and good quality at good prices. All signs are in English and Spanish. People (customers and employees) are very friendly and helpful.
Great market place definitely a go to spot to get your green or red chili. Also fresh seafood, meat and produce is all available. You can also dine in or get a plate to go. all the groceries you would find in a the local Smith’s or Albertson’s also sells alcohol.
I go to this store when I need some items that I can't find at Wal Mart. Not sure if there will always be a language barrier but today there was. Not really a problem. Can usually get help whenever I need it. I especially like the meats and the fish sections.
Love their meat section. So many good taco meats to choose from. I can go in here and get a ton of meat to throw on my disk and feed an army for very cheap. My favorite is probably the Al Pastor. It cooks great on the disk and tastes amazing every time.
The only issue I have when I go here they don't like cutting the meat the way you want it cut. I was told by one of the workers that they can't cut the meat . Which is crazy so I found another meat store that cuts the meat the way you want it cut !
Best produce, great meat and seafood selection. Good bakery department. More mainstream selection of Mexican/Central & South American foods but you will find most of what you need here. If you're hungry, you won't be disappointed by the restaurant.
I usually shop here for groceries, it's a great store with good prices and a wide verity of items. This happened a few times where the employees are very rude. Especially the cashiers or the item stockers. I'll simply ask a simple question
Went there last weekend for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There was one person in front of us, and none in line behind us. I counted 7 women workers and NONE of them were taking orders or working the line. After 10 minutes one of the other
I saw the security and employee putting their hands on a person slamming him into the wall they need to be sued. I got it on camera i am going to send it to the person that was getting assaulted by the security guard at El Super and the
My first visit to El Super was refreshing. Their produce section and their meat section have a wider selection of items than your typical supermarket. The quality of their produce impressed me and the very fresh tortillas were a bonus.
What have they done to this place? It was great as Los Altos Market. We went last night and there were flies on the fruits and vegetables, and a lot of the fruit was past the ripe. I don't see enough of a price difference to warrant
I will definitely be shopping here. The produce looks great with good prices. There's cuts of meat that you can't find in a regular store. The really has some great Mexican dishes as well. I'm a Louisiana boy and was very impresses.
The men's bathroom was a complete disaster but the bakery is the best reason to come here. 2 for 1$ breads are so delicious I didn't get the name but had a little fry bread taste to it. I'd be fat if I lived near this store
Great prices on produce!!!! Some of the beef items are not a good quality. Cheap very fatty beef. For the price of beef now. Your better off going to sprouts, Costco or Sam's Club. The chicken is good no complaints there.
Always a great experience here. I need to go back more often. The produce, meats, bakery items, the food, etc..., you name it, it is good. The service is excellent! The atmosphere is Aah-mazing as well. I love "El Super!"
I love this store. It's comfortable, clean, produce section Is awesome, and it's the only place I buy pork. They have the best pork. I get a good feeling whenever I'm in here. Staff and check out cashiers are super nice.
Great prices on fruit and veggies! I've always had friendly encounters with the folks at checkout. If your accustomed to the standard grocery store experience than this place is a great breath of fresh air. Check it out.
Great prices on produce, some "exotic". Significantly cheaper than chains. Mexican bakery. Fresh tortillas. Variety of dried chilis, mostly common types. Large meat section. Good range of Mexican cheese. Worth a visit.
Meat and produce here are good in terms of quality and price. Their marinated meats are great for fast meals. Very clean store compared to others close by. Checkout gets busy at times, but otherwise a good experience.
My beloved cookies are now 4 for $3. Which is not really worth it anymore. This is still my go-to store for vegetables, fruits, rice and beans. They still only keep 2 registers open despite the very crowded lines.
I give it a four for good prices, but costumer service it's a 4 too, because its gotten better. We still go there at least once or 2 times a week for their products which are the veggies and other good products.
The fruit and vegetables are great. It's fun to go there and get some bakery items and fresh meat. Prices are good too. I would change the interior to make it much more interesting and create more attraction.
Great food in food court. A variety one cannot ignore the great produce. Place takes you away from New Mexico for a bit. A little Mexico atmosphere. Worthwhile place to visit. Juice bar will not let you down!
Be careful , employees at this place food not use facemask , Today I saw this two employees serving food yes with gloves but with gloves full of soap and blood . stay away from this individuals at the kitchen
Lots of great produce at awesome prices. The meat section is also great. They have fruits like papayas, jackfruits, and dragon fruits. Asadero cheeses with tortillas for some great homemade quesadillas.
Wonderful store for every fruit, vegetable, anything to make your favorite Southwestern dish you can imagine. Prices are terrific and you get so much more of these items compared to other stores.
El Super/Ranch Market is by far the worst grocery store one can go too due to many failed health inspections. The employees don't make it any better. The majority of the time they are all rude
I enjoy going here for vegetables and fresh tortillas. The meat is priced high but consistently fresh. The location is quite a distance and in the middle of the west side of Albuquerque.
I'm originally from Los Angeles California, and let me tell you these are by far the BEST PRICE'S I've ever seen... In Los Angeles a pound of ranchera meat is $12 a lb... Love it!!
Always love my experience at this place. Great choices, authentic Mexican food, and usually cheaper prices. Their produce selection is better than your average store.
Great prices and friendly people, always a busy place to shop at. They need more open registers to get the flow a bit faster. Other than that it's a great place!
I was super is a really amazing and unique place. Always some great selections if you wanted to transform your cooking palette and I'll stop on in and try it out
It is a very authentic place, you can find wherever vegetables, fruits and seafood, an a lot more. they also have restaurant inf you like mexican food.
When it comes to there vegetables and fresh fruit and fresh vegetables everything is cheap and it's good and it's at a decent price that you can afford
The manager was extremely friendly and helpful, he walked me over to the product that I was looking for, also they have good products at this market.
Their fruit literally rotts within 2 days of buying it and it smells inside the actual store like a stinky smell idk what the heck it is.. …
Delicious food, good prices. They need an express lane though. You can't just stop in for one item as you must stand in line behind full baskets.
Like the alt place with more ethnic choices. Prices can be better on some items here. Food court is a good place for tacos and other Mex choices.
Reminded me of home (El Paso, TX) while I’m away. It had everything that I could imagine and more. It was very clean and prices were reasonable.
I don't speak Spanish, but I always manage to get to the carnitas. Favorite Mexican spot they have everything. Really is a SUPER market! …
Awesome selection of various types of foods. As well as a great place to buy hot foods for lunch dinner even breakfast, great pan dulce too
I shop there weekly for fruit and vegetables. Very good prices on both fruit and vegetables.. some of isn't fresh...self checkout option.,.
Do not go to this store. If you have any kind of bag with you, they treat you like a criminal and ask you to leave it outside to be stolen.
Good place if you like fresh meats and seafood. Prices are almost as good as Walmart and they are always welcoming new people to the store
Nice store. El Super is a chain from Mexico and I wish the store had as much selection as it does in Mexico. Maybe an unfair comparison.
