While the library facilities are good and staff is friendly they frequently keep changing their opening times which is very frustrating. Now most days they open at noon, that’s too late for a library to start and people who rely on it to use their facilities.

This is my local library and I really like the space. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The library is very popular with people with children so sometimes it's not the quietest space if you want to study or work.

Fantastic place to borrow book and study here! Got a range of games and magazines as well. Rich history if you know it was built in 1912. Love the deco and everything! The staffs there are always amazing!

Amazing library with a very peaceful atmosphere!!! The kindness of the staff here are astonishingly astounding, they helped me find the books I required and made sure that it all went well!!!

Nice quiet space, great view of South Melbourne Town Hall from portico. Good range of DVDs and CDs. Several book clubs you can join. Free WiFi handy even when library is closed.
