"The food was delicious and the rice that came with each meal had an interesting touch with carrots in it, the garlic naan was soft and yummy, and the spicy pickle was a perfect side to order to add just a hint more of spicy into the meal"
"There's a playground with swings for bigger kids but none of the ones for smaller children"

My son and I had a late night adventure just recently hiking up to Ensign Peak. It was after hours but it didn’t seem to be a big deal at all. Plus it was my 13 year olds first time ever hiking it. Well worth the small getaway to see the beautiful views of the entire Salt Lake Valley. The way it should be done.
If someone was only going to be in SLC for one day, I'd send recommendation a hike up to Ensign Peak, at least if the weather was good. The trailhead can be reached from downtown in about ten minutes and take one past the capital, and the

There's a playground with swings for bigger kids but none of the ones for smaller children. No restrooms. There's a water fountain and tennis courts. It's right near the Ensign Peak Trailhead. No restrooms there either. More
If you're visiting try to get up early and watch the sun rise from this park overlooking the city. Great views, nice little park. Then work your way to the capital building. Mark helpful if you like this tip.
Greenspace with a playground, tennis courts, a baseball diamond, and amazing views of the city and Ensign Peak, but not so much shade, no restrooms, and of course everything is on the slope of the hill.
Ok playground. Missing swings right now and there are only two. There is a baseball diamond up higher and a volleyball pit. Two nice tennis courts. Nice views of Salt Lake. But overall just ok.
Well if you walk all the way from downtown to Ensign Peak, this may be a place to rest. And as an alien it was interesting to see people playing with a soccer ball baseball here in this park.
Lots of snow with cleared sidewalks. Deer just hanging out. Dogs chasing after each other, while their moms and dads talking to each other. It is a peaceful good place.
It was so beautiful once you got to the top. Not a long hike, but a steep one. With little to no shade you would want to do it early or later but it is worth the view.
Nice views, play area and 2 tennis courts. Usually not crowded. Steep elevation makes it difficult for running and air can be colder during non summer months
Nice little park, really pretty views of the whole Salt Lake Valley. 2 tennis courts and the playground is a good size. It was empty when we visited.
Great scenery along with a peaceful pavilion around the bend where the towns people seem to get there daily exercise overlooking the capital building
The is a nice city park. With an amazing view! We came here for Father's day with the family last year and enjoy looking at city lights regularly.
Beautiful grounds and lookout to the surrounding cities. Beautiful history and architectural style in the buildings and homes.
I love this view! It's absolutely beautiful and I've made many memories here!:) Definitely gotta go at least once!! …
Amazing Overlook of the city! We used to go here all the time and play tennis and let the kids play on the playground
Really nice park with great views of the valley. There is a baseball diamond, tennis courts, and a volleyball court.
Great location, and very well maintained place. I'll recommend it to anyone who wants to take a walk or just relax.
They just need to open up one hour earlier. There's times I have to go in early and they're not open.
Nice little playground my girls love to play at after we've hiked Ensign Peak.
Such a pretty fun spot. Of you have never been, get out. It's easy and quick.
Great view of Salt Lake City. Open space to fly a kite or play badminton.
Just stopped by for a few minutes, but the valley views were phenomenal.
Beautiful view of Salt Lake. My picture does not do it justice
Great view of the valley if you don't want to hike the trails
Great place to bash dingers and humiliate the opposition.
