We’ve always used this Enterprise for renting cars but the last three times we have used this place, it’s been horrible. First time, we got a car whose a/c broke down in the middle of a heat wave and we had to exchange it at another location which they told us that we had to prove it to them that the a/c broke. Uh,hello! I guess the sweat rolling down our faces wasn’t enough. Second time, they gave us a dirty and smelly car that we had to go get it detailed ASAP bc we were not about to have our kid in the backseat sitting in crumbs of food and crackers. They gave us a double upgrade the next time we used them so we decided to use that this weekend. The car they gave us was cleanish inside on the floor until i saw the GUM on the floor!! Seriously guys?!?! But the outside of the car was SUPER dirty; dead bugs on the windshield and the front grill, dust on the car, fingerprints inside the windows and the hatchback window. When I asked the guy why the car was so dirty and if it was customary to give a car to customers THIS dirty, he told us they have to use certain chemicals to wash the cars with? What kind of lame excuse is that?!?!? Will not be coming back to this location after using them for two years. ******************************************** December 2018 After talking with Chris, we decided to give Enterprise another try. After all, they asked politely and I accepted. Arrived to the building and Rachel was ready to help us. Very polite, very enthusiastic, had a smile on her face. Thought maybe it was bc we were there but when my husband and I saw how well she managed her team, giving instructions on how to help other customers, we were VERY impressed. Headed over to the rental, and I was very pleased. Clean car, clean backseat, clean everything. Such a great change from the last three times we have rented from there. We were very happy with our service and are happy to say that we will rent from Enterprise again. Thanks Chris and thank you to your staff for everything.

As a foreigner(Australian) hiring a car from Enterprise is a standard, easy going thing - except for this particular location. They required me to bring in my passport - since apparently you need one to drive, right? - it even states on the Enterprise website that locations in Texas do not require passports. Once I returned with my passport I was told I could not hire the car as I did not have the details of my car insurance at home in Australia...like that would cover me in the United States anyway :/....and I was purchasing insurance with Enterprise covering me for all damages anyway..All things that no other Enterprise location has required ....In the end i was required to use my girlfriend who is under 25(thus a young driver fee), to hire the car for me and then putting myself as an additional driver(which again has a fee) and basically throwing huge amount of irony on the fact that I originally needed insurance to drive the car but now as an additional driver I did not need it....a $200 car, turned into a $500 nightmare. I am currently attempting to get my money back that I spent on young driver fees and additional driver fees that should have never occurred in the first place and has occurred in no other location. However, when writing an email to Enterprise I was not given a response. Been waiting a month. When called the company, I was told that this would be sent to the regional office and I would be contacted...no contact as of yet. When I called the particular location, the manager saw no issue - even though her employees did, and told me she would follow up with the employees who helped me. Great - thanks for charging an extra $300 for absolutely no purpose.

Before going in I gave a quick courtesy call to this location. John who answered the phone had the most AMAZING energy and answered all my questions and even explained upfront I would have a slight wait due to them cleaning the cars which I had no issue with because I appreciate a car rental company who cares about the cleanliness of their vehicles and maintenance. Then when I get there I was greeted by Mildred. BLESS HER SOUL she was so caring and wasn’t pushy or annoyed she was positive and great energy especially for being so early in the morning. She walked me through the process and was very thorough with the plans offered for protection on the vehicle in case of damages done due to accidents or if in need of roadside assistance. She was thorough with the vehicle check to record any damages or dents which amazingly the vehicle had none! Not to mention she was honest and gave me great thought to get general coverage for the vehicle just in case. All in all I was way more than pleased with how this location works and how hard the staff works to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Being there only took me 15-20 minutes and I was on my way! If you ever need a rental, if you were ever in a motor vehicle accident, or just coming to town and need a vehicle to use? This is the place right here. And if you get to see Mildred or John count your lucky stars that you get to have them assist you! Raises need to be given for these hard working staff members!

They give false information. I had to rent a vehicle while my car was in the shop. Luckily my insurance covered rentals. Not so luckily, they didn't cover anything extra. After being informed of damage waiver at $14.99 a week (wrong), I agreed to purchase out of pocket, simply because we all know how crazy San Antonio drivers can be especially with the weather we've been having. Weekly, the price was just fine for my strict budget. The day before I was to get my car back I noticed $191 taken from my account by enterprise. In shock, I called to see what was going on. First thing I hear after I gave them my info was "hey guys we found the car!"....umm...what?? They thought I'd already returned it!! After they opened my ticket back up they informed me that the 14.99 damage waiver was per day, not week as they told me. Sorry guys if I was told the price correctly I wouldn't have taken it. They also did not allow me to hold the contract as I signed, which kept me from being able to read everything. Way to keep your butts covered, guys. Now I don't have a leg to stand on in disputing the charges and all y'all do is write a note...thanks a lot enterprise now I'm gonna be short on my bills cause of your inability to give honest and correct information. I will never rent here again, and will discourage anyone from renting here as well. Should have listened to my insurance agent and went with hertz.

While dealing with the agents at the individual locations was excellent, we had a problem with a flat tire and when I called the corporate 1-800 number to get this resolved we ran into more trouble than I thought was possible. The corporate help agents dropped the ball on every opportunity. From being told that AAA would come change the tire in 30 minutes and never showing up at all, they were supposed to replace vehicle with another in a couple hours and ended up taking all day- and that was only due to me calling every hour asking where they are. This problem started at 7:30 am the morning after we got the rental car, that was when I called to get flat fixed. Finally got a replacement vehicle around 5:30 that afternoon, after chasing them on the phone all day. The woman on the phone for the help center hung up on me twice, I had to ask her to slow down when talked because it was so fast I could not understand her. I asked her multiple times to please slow down so I can hear you. Never happened, I was barely able to understand what she was saying some times and had to guess on the rest. The folks at the individual office were fantastic and were trying to do everything they could to resolve the problem but were hitting same wall I was hitting. Once vehicle was replaced and I didn’t have to deal with 1-800 people, all was good.

I would like to say the young man who dropped off the car was really nice and kind. He went over everything with me in detail before leaving me with the car. Plus the car was clean and ready to go when he got here with it. When I came back to drop of the car I was not really happy with my experience there. I pulled up and all the lights in the office was off and the front door was locked. After a minute there I saw the markers they had on the floor to go into the side door. When I opened the door I saw the lights off and said hello. A guy and a girl came out from the back. I told him I was here to drop of the car and the guy replied you were suppose to leave the keys in the car. I did let him know I was not aware of that since I have always given the keys to someone and someone inspects the car with me. He took the keys from me and I thought he was going to follow me out to look over the car with me but he didn't. Instead he locked the door when I stepped out. He didn't offer me a ride home like all the other people normally do since and I did need one. Instead I ended up getting an uber and waited outside on the steps for 30 minutes to get one. The guy did make me feel like I was bothering him instead of him doing his job.

I had to drop my truck off at a nearby body shop after being rear ended, and I got a rental from this location. The girl who picked me up and checked out a vehicle for me was really helpful, and the truck they gave me was pretty much brand new. Despite that, it had some scratches, a loose plastic piece on the front bumper, and a dent in the front bumper. Not a big deal for me because I'm not concerned with looks as long as I can get around. My only complaint was that the truck was on less than 1/4 tank, but that just means I didn't need to fill it up when I returned it. When the truck was picked up after my truck was ready, they called me and told me that I was going to have to pay for a large dent in the bumper. Luckily I had taken a picture of the existing damage, which was also already documented on their end, when I got it and had proof that it was preexisting. After this, I would not rent from this location again unless I had to. As always, fully document whatever vehicle you get. Take a walk around video and get close to the front, rear, and side panels to document any dings, dents, or scratches. If they can put you on the hook for damage so they don't have to pay for it, they will.

Renting from Enterprise has always been convenient and smooth. However, this time, there was miscommunication between reps when returning vehicle. I specifically asked the rep if I could return vehicle prior to store opening and drop the keys in the drop box because we could not be there at opening. He said absolutely. Well, unfortunately, when we returned the vehicle there was no drop box! and we had to leave the keys in the vehicle. I was charged for two days rental when I only rented for one day and returned vehicle within 24 hrs. I'm not sure why employees checked vehicle in on Sunday Aug 23 instead of Aug 22 when the vehicle was in the return section on Aug 22. I had a discussion with another rep when I disputed the extra charge and thankfully, I was credited for the extra charge. However, he was informing me of the return policy and it was not the same as the first rep. Employees are not on the same page. My recommendation is to ensure employees are trained in effectively communicating the same message to customers.

I came in to renew my contract on Sunday after I’ve had the vehicle for a month. I’ve been paying for it weekly and what they failed to mention was that they hold money for the week and then when you pay your total bill they deducted off from your account. That was $1300 that was deducted on Sunday. You would think they would explain this a little bit better to the customer. Sunday I went in and was given really bad service. My card was charged without being asked. After further speaking with the lady there she had charged me the wrong amount for the rental for the daily fees. Then she tried to tell me something as if to put me in my place and then said never mind. I felt like I had something wrong. She never apologized and then this incident occurred. I’m am very disappointed. Today I was supposed to look for a new car. I took the day off and was hoping this was the last day of the rental. I am -$1300 in my account now with hardly any explanation and still stuck in a rental that I’m going to have to continue to pay.

Rude people working at this location. Ashley Vargas and Leslie from another branch was there. They were both extremely rude and will just ignore you. Also the new enterprise policy doesn’t make any sense. You cannot rent a vehicle if you’re more than 50 miles from the radius of the enterprise. So anyone flying into town and planning on renting this location they will not rent to you. We also went to the airport to rent and they sent us to the enterprise on Fredericksburg rd. We called again and did the process over the phon. When we got there they told us they can’t rent to anyone more then 50 miles radius. Customer service of Enterprise is saying that they do not know why they are doing that because it is not a policy. All you need is a major credit card on file. I live in San Antonio but my Texas Id shows my parents address. Even with a utility bill, or my aprt contract they won’t rent a car to me. It’s ridiculous, but the customer service from those two ladies Ashley Vargas and Leslie needs to be addressed.

Reserved my car for pick up at 5pm. When I got there at 4pm the office was closed because of COVID19 (understandable). So I called the 800 number and they sent me to the store on Bandera... it was closed. Then to Callaghan... it was closed. Then to the airport because they were the only one open. Tried to charge me $900 for a $300 car. So they told me to go to the original location the next morning. Picked up a car that was out of gas. Then about 2 days into my rental, the check oil and check engine lights came on. Called 800 number. They said nothing I could do cause all locations were closed, expect for the airport where I would have to pay an extra fee. When I returned the car, I watched them wash it and put it back on line for rent without checking anything. I was told I would get a $100 credit for inconvenience. Which turned out to be a total of $40 after they re-taxed the already taxed rental. Terrible experience! I normally rent from them 2-3 times a year, but not anymore.

*****Changed my review to 1 star... just 9 months ago I rented from here with no issues. Yesterday I had a rental and couldn't get it cause we ended up nothing having enough money for the deposit and rental. We changed it to today. Couldn't get the rental because my license had bite marks and a hole on it. I just went there yesterday and had no issues, even had this license 9 months ago when I last rented, no issues. I have had this license when I have had it scanned for work, pay bills where I have to show my license and no problems. Nowhere on their site does it say that bite mark or a small hole would have them reject my business. Best they could offer is to "coach" the people that were allowing me to rent before this day.*** Excellent service at this location.. they were super busy at the end of the day and all reps were super professional and nice.

I always rent from this place. I have always had such a awesome experience. I had a free day that I could redeem. I wasn’t allowed to use my points for a free day. I needed to add my mother in law as a extra driver. Well Chris the only guy their said that I need to cancel my reservation before he could add her to the rental agreement. He told then proceeded to say (I will make you a brand new reservation). I said ok. So when he redid the rental he put it under my mother in laws name and then proceeded to ignore me. When we went to the rental he kept ignoring me and then proceeded saying about their insurance. We we’re using our personal insurance. The backseat of the car has scratches on the seat. I would only return to rent here from this please if I had someone else. I only rented because my brother passed away and needed a car to get to the funeral.

Disappointed in the service. The guy was forcing me to get the insurance, told him I didn't have the money for it, told him no, TWICE! And he still made me get it, practically saying if I don't get it. They'll charge me my deductible!!!! Took the car, then returned it within 15 min cause decided I didn't need it. Instead I took the bus with my four month old! They said they wouldn't charge me for gas or insurance since I didn't even have it a day and they still charged me. I'm so upset due to them lying to me. Also, once I got picked up from the collision place the guy was driving insane and was braking at the last minute at lights, I was scared that we were gonna either hit someone or get rear ended. Very terrible service. I've rented once before and did not have a problem the first time. I will never be renting with enterprise again.

I moved to San Antonio a few months ago and I do a lot of traveling with my job. From the first day I walked into the the building, Gilbert remembered my name and has always been quick to get me in and out . He represents your company very well and is the perfect example of what excellent customer services is. I have also dealt with Melcom and Marisol and they treat me like a first rate customer as well. Every time I walk into the building, they all know me by name and treat me with the utmost respect. The service and the entire Team at this location are the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I will continue to to bring my business to this location as long as I have the need for a rental vehicle. Hats off to Gilbert and his Team, they are top notch in my book!

I went through the process of going online to put a car reservation. When i got there, they denied me, i had a debt card, but they wanted proof of residence(bill in my name). Which would have been nice but who carry that with. I was informed when i got there. This would have taken I at the minimum of 2 and 1/2 hous to go and come back. A credit card would fix this issue, but all my money was tied on my debt card. The process to put money on my cc would have taken more than a day. I wasted my time and patience with them. Plus, there were other charges like insurance and a 300 dollar hold until you brought the car back. I found a cheaper and after hour app online to rent a vehicle TURO. Because enterprise would have been close if i had come back.

Someone rear ended me at the lights just down the road from this Enterprise. I've never been in an accident before, so had no idea what to do. The insurance companies and the collision center were pretty helpful. But I got confused about needing a reservation number and getting reimbursed for a rental. I was also super scared about how bad the car I was going to get for the $24.70 was going to be. The people at this Enterprise were so helpful and understanding. I was super impressed with the manager Sol. She was so on top of everything in that busy office. Such an asset and always remained calm and friendly. She also hooked me up with a car that I am really enjoying driving. Thank you for turning an inconvenience to a pretty cool experience :)

***Update*** I got a call from the manager stating that my car was ready for me. I went back in the afternoon and they had my car clean and ready, the manager waited for me because I couldn't pick up the car until after 6 p.m. Thank you so much for waiting, I appreciate it! Way to go on changing my review from a 1 star to a 4 star! My insurance set up a rental, Eneterprise said they called to verify but both my husband and I didn't have a missed call nor did we have a message stating to give a call back. They would have better customer service if they truly did give calls and left messages.. They have no idea on how to run a good business. Also, they only have a two mile radius for pickup and drop off...what a joke!!!

This location is staffed with some of the best employees! They are so considerate and understanding. They do their best to find the best options and care for each customer. I was waiting for my vehicle to be switched out and they were so helpful. I experienced the best customer service here. Further, I saw Jessica the assistant manager being so helpful to other customers and ensuring they had the best experience renting through Enterprise. Gilbert does an amazing job keeping order and customer service satisfaction as a priority. He is efficient in his service! Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this location to anyone! 10/10!!

Long overdue review!! After previously having a not so good experience with a different branch, I found this branch and am glad I did! From the initial phone call Charles was awesome!! He assured me I would have a vehicle on the day requested. Malcolm (I believe was his name) was extremely friendly upon arrival for my reservation. Maricela also was very friendly and didn’t pressure me to get any add-ons such as the extra insurance. That was an issue at the previous branch I had previously. Going forward if I’m ever in a situation where I need a rental this location will be my good too despite my drive there will be slightly longer.

I don't write reviews often, just usually when I receive exceptional service. This enterprise location was the best experience I've had with a rental car company. I had a unique situation, having to take a one-way trip cross-county, and the entire staff were all helpful and courteous, getting me into the right car that would get me and my family home. They also got me into another vehicle quickly when the first one ran into an A/C issue. I really appreciated the help from Loryn and James, who were both professional and accommodating in getting us home. Wouldn't hesitate to rent from those folks again if presented the opportunity.

I just rented a massive Chevy Silverado truck from Enterprise this past weekend. Majority of the time it is very difficult to find large trucks so I was very happy they did have some trucks on stock. Overall my experience was fantastic. Ms. Moriah Smith quickly greeted us and got us great customer service. She was very nice which made my first time here a positive one. The BEST PART is that they WILL PICK UP THE VEHICLE FROM YOUR HOME. That is truly a blessing and will save us time from taking it back. I will truly come back and recommend to all family and friends. P. S. Chevy Silverado is an AWESOME TRUCK to drive.

Went to get rental limited car selection,had to pay daily upgrade, and to that the car was cleaned in 2 minutes since they were taking long,it had too many little scratches,dirty in trunk n gears area,windows were dirty,tried to sell me extra daily $25 fees ins,road service,dent coverage etc...they along with insurance companies are scammers...I had to pay 8 days of upgrade I left car with half tank n they had given me 3/4 gas..they cut no slack or refund...they're not rental they're into push selling!!!!!! Never going to Enterprise again...no stars should be given!!!!!!!! They don't return calls!!!!

Enterprise made reserving a car for my vacation a piece of cake. I reserved the vehicle online and when I arrived the date and time that I was to pick up the vehicle, it was exactly the car I requested. It was clean. We did a walk around and they asked if I had any questions. I was in and out in no time. Then when I returned, they were wonderful. Marisela Arellano helped me check out and check the car. She also drove me home so I didn't have to call an Uber. I was so pleased with her. She was very professional but yet friendly. It was a great experience. Thank you Enterprise!

Megan made everything right and wanted to do more. She showed empathy to the customer and went above and beyond to ensure my experience was great. I wish she would have been there from the beginning of my rental agreement. It was a nightmare before her interaction and I would have giving the company 1 star. I had to go to multiple locations but will be returning back to this location. Megan has excellent customer service skills but it was her understanding of the customers value that turned my experience into a positive one.

My mother was critical in the hospital and I needed to get out to California and I don't like flying anymore. I was able to do most of the work on their website and when I got to the office to pick up the car everything went quickly and smoothly. I ended up having to stay an extra week and a couple of days longer because my mom ended up passing away. I called the office and spoke to Storey a couple of times about my situation and she worked with me to make things easier for me. Thanks again Storey

I used the Colonnade, San Antonio location. The entire staff was very helpful and the location Manager was just outstanding. She really went the extra mile and got the vehicle I needed from another location on very short notice. I found her to be extremely professional and she allowed me to take my time inspecting the car and listened to all my questions and concerns. I would certainly use this location again when I need a car and wish the staff there continued success.

I just rented a vehicle from this location and from the start everyone was great. Matt helped find the vehicle i needed on short notice, Lauren was nice and friendly as well. Then to top it off, when I dropped off the vehicle, they thoroughly checked the vehicle and found a couple toys under the seat that my kids left. I will definitely be renting from this location again. Enterprise has never let me down and this location has been my favorite so far!!!

Everything was wonderful when i came to pick up the car and i signed a waiver but there was a small miscommunication about a waiver fee that was not written in paperwork. However, Jordan was such a wonderful help and took very good care of me, he was clear and to the point, while speaking in a kind tone. He assessed the situation and fixed the situation. Even though i had a bad experience he fixed it and i am going to come back whenever i need to rent.

I have to say this is the friendliest Enterprise office I've ever dealt with. Specifically a shout out to Mildred who is the sweetest and most efficient young lady that I've encountered in quite some time. I didn't catch the manager's name but I did want to thank you for the courtesy of the military discount. The vehicle was immaculately clean and the pick up and turn in was effortless. Thanks Enterprise, I will see y'all next time there is a need.

My experience with Enterprise was a very good one. My one suggestion would be the inclusion with the car on its basic operation. For instance, I needed to refuel the car and I could find not information on how to open the fuel lid. This was an Audi 4 and newer than the cars I own, so I was looking for the fuel lid release button. No info anywhere. Luckily, the guy next to me knew how to do it. Some kind of basic information would be good.

Needed a rental after a fender bender.. They were friendly, very professional and thorough. Made sure you were comfortable and answered any questions. They didn't have any vehicles within the price range insurance would cover, got one for $10 over, but said to bring it back after the weekend and they would exchange it. Took it back to exchange it, they still didn't have anything, so gave me the vehicle I was using at the insurance rate.

For years, I have been using the services of Enterprise at the Colonnade. I have always received good service. Although there was staff member issues over the payment method and renter pickup time, Chris provided me with his best customer service. My favorite place to rent a car. Bianca, Megan and Chris are absolute blessings in San Antonio TX! They are kind and really good people. They always put their best into helping customers get into a vehicle that’s comfortable and feels safest for the customer within the budget. They shine with their smiles and positivity. I'm a few months late writing this review. Nonetheless, i wanting to commend Malcym and Charles on their amazing customer service skills! I had to get a rental upon getting my car serviced. Enterprise sent a car to pick me up and the driver was very nice and helpful. All three people helped the difficult situation seem easy and simple. It was such a relief to not have to worry about anything. Thank you!

Thank you Jessica! I was in an accident which wasn’t my fault. The insurance co tried to put me into a car that was no where equal to mine that was being worked on. She helped get me a safer more comparable car that I enjoyed driving for two weeks. I know how hard it is to get employees right now and watching her do it all is amazing. Please get this woman some help so she isn’t the only one there.

San Antonio has a gem in the vehicle rental business- Enterprise at the colonnade (IH-10). I use this location for all of my travel- business and pleasure. The staff are very friendly and their fleet of vehicles are superb. I have even had them swap my vehicle because it was not up to their standards when I thought it was just fine! Keep up the great work, you take the gold in customer service !

Service at the counter was friendly and prompt. The counter area and seating was clean and comfortable. There was a little bit of a delay to get a car brought from another location and I wasn't the only one that had to wait. The car that they brought was pretty dirty on the outside but the inside was clean. They said that there was some malfunction with their car washing equipment.

Staff was polite and courteous but car selection was limited. The car I got was clean but only had about 1/8th tank of gas and tire pressures were low according to the cars electronic display. There was no explanation of the basic functions on this car and the technology functions. The car performed fine while I had it. This experience was OK but nothing to write home about.

It was a nice car, but the exterior was dirty with bugs and dust. The interior had a very strong smell of cigarettes. My wife would not even get in the car because of the smell. We have had this trouble with most of the Enterprise rentals. In one of the rentals we exchanged, we noticed the people washing and cleaning cars were smoking even when cleaning the interior.

I have rented from this location 3 times in the last month and each time they were as pleasant and helpful as it is possible to be. The cars were all clean and nice. The staff is very personable. I don't expect to need a rental car anytime soon but if I do it will be from this office. And if I'm traveling out of town Enterprise will be my rental company of choice.

I had a great experience renting a car here. We were staying at a hotel nearby and they picked us up in the morning and brought us back to the enterprise location to pick up the car. Really appreciated that ride as it saved us an Uber fare. Had a great car experience and the return took less than five minutes. Super friendly staff and would definitely recommend!

Service was friendly and efficient. The prices seem reasonable enough. The car was clean and in good order. It irks me that you can't get even a partial refund of the insurance back for turning the car in with no damage. $20 a day to be careful adds up and turns a cheap economy car into a $50/day (plus fuel) rental. Overall a positive experience.

I've rented with Enterprise in the past, but this was one of my best experiences with the company. First time using their pick up service, and was a little late, but there was construction happening that might have impacted the timing. Upon getting there, the paperwork was relatively fast, and when returning it, everything went smoothly.

Everything went smoothly and had no problems at all. Quick and easy pickup, However, I wish they had a 24 hour drop off like they did in the past. Very inconvenient if you arrive back after they close or on a weekend. In my case I had to leave the vehicle, THEN come back again to leave the keys and be late for work in the morning.
