Out clutch went out. Took it to this shop and they replaced it. As soon as I drove away the clutch was smelling really bad every time you pull out of parking spot. I thought it may be normal until it fits or whatever... Well it lasted for over 2 weeks so we called them back. After going back and forth for quite some time finally got it back in the shop and they said the clutch was fine. So, nothing the clutch continued to smell, which later I heard is indication for slipping and it would be a problem. So 11 months later the transmission fails and the mechanic I took it to, says the clutch needs to be replaced. I freaked out, I paid $1,400 for the clutch 11 months ago barely went through 11,000 miles, the previous one went through 115,000 miles. So, now the guys are saying that they don't cover normal wear and tear. How do you consider 11,000 miles of clutch as normal wear and tear. The new mechanic already pointed out that wheel shaft has not been properly adjusted, the clutch didn't feel right at all when he test drove the car. It was way too hard and he is not surprised to see it wearing out as soon as it did. So, here we are replacing the clutch again and they are not willing to admit fault and want to shift it on a faulty part, which by the way in the first conversation Mike explained that a faulty part means cracked disk or broken spring, something in those lines, not excessive wear. Excessive wear can be caused by driving habits, wrong installation or not enough lubricant. Well, the driver or the habits never changed so that leaves it to faulty installation. STAY AWAY!!!

I was so greatly appreciative of Entler’s Auto Repair during my four years of living in Portland. From 2018 onward, I regularly had them check out my 2003 Explorer and it was the first time where I went years without mechanical failures on the road somewhere, because of how good they were with their diagnostics! I previously lived in Seattle, and despite regular check ups every few months, there was always some horrible situation every one to two years where my car would need to be towed due to a mechanical problem so I was amazed at how I never had a single problem during my time in Portland. I never felt ripped off and I miss places like this as I have since moved and I could tell how thorough everyone at the shop was about making sure my car was in good condition to drive without an issue. I drove the car down to San Diego and back twice without any issues, and I have since moved to Quebec and my car never had a problem the entire trip during the move. Absolutely recommended!

I cannot think of a more honest and dedicated mechanic shop. These guys truly care about doing the job efficiently as well as not charging you the $100 an hour that any major dealer will charge you for repair. These guys will make SURE they get the right parts too. They are not just throwing some junky part in your car, they are throwing in a factory part even if they have to order it in. I have been coming here for over 6 years now with any issues I have ever had without any issues. They will give you honest work every day of the week which is hard to find in mechanic shops these days. Dan is one of the best mechanics around, and he is not going to gouge you for your money. You can thank me later when you need a water pump replaced and you aren't charged hundreds and hundreds of dollars for replacement and repair, and then get your car back same day if not, the following morning.

My Aveo broke down yesterday and I called these guys from the side of the road. I told them I needed a serpentine belt replaced. They quoted me $157.00 to repair it. I figured "Well I'm sure $157 will turn into $357 soon enough but I needed it done and they were the closest so I went ahead and took it to them. Guy says he over-quoted me and it was only going to be $107.00 instead. I was still skeptical this would not be the final price based on previous experiences. When I went to pick it up the bill was $106.90. They didn't even try to tell me all these other things were also wrong with it. No hard sell. No bullshit scam. They actually did the work for the price they quoted. In fact 10 cents under. A rare occasion. If only all auto shops were like these guys. Will definitely be bringing all my vehicles to them in the future and I suggest you do the same.

Take my advice and do not use this shop! They are $120 an hour and treat woman like incompetent people. This company was recommended by a reliable source and so I used them to replace my own transmission. I know very little about these repairs but my car was basically running the same afterwards, I did supply my own transmission from B&R Auto. I was under the impression from the quote that they would at least let me know if it was a good transmission when the job was finish and or they would let me know what the problem may be. Dan the manager, was extremely rude and degrading to me when I asked him if he could run the codes and let me know where the problem might be coming from. I paid $800 to trade out the transmission which was fair but the service and care for people who don’t know cars is terrible.

I parked a few blocks from this shop and my car wouldn't start. My tow driver recommended this place so I brought it here. I talked to a guy, I think his name is Dan? When I handed him the key he knew immediately what was wrong. "Did this key break recently?" I told him yes, just today. The plastic casing around the key had broken off after I parked. He told me these hondas have a security feature that don't let the car start without a tiny plastic microchip in the key casing. Luckily I had the broken plastic pieces in my pocket. We duct taped the pieces together and it started right up and I drove away. That little bit of knowledge comes from experience and that's what this shop offers. No wait, NO CHARGE, and I was back on the road. I'm glad I followed the tow driver's advice!

Entler's is the best. Dan is professional, friendly and runs the best auto repair shop I've ever used. I just had Entler's fix the power steering on my 2007 Ford Focus. It had been growling and functioning intermittently. It is now quiet and functions perfectly. The price was great and the service was better. Entler's is awesome. I feel so good driving away from there, I almost want my car to have another issue so I can go back. It's that good of an experience.

If I could give six stars, I would! These guys are so kind, efficient, and professional. The prices are more than reasonable, too, and I wasn't charged for any unnecessary repairs or anything. Dan is also a delight to talk to and clearly knows his stuff: I knew exactly what was happening every step of the way. Every interaction I had with Entler's was informative and pleasant. Dan and the team were professional, friendly, fast, and most importantly, they fixed all the issues I was having. After searching for a mechanic that services Fiats and being turned away or ignored by multiple other shops for previous issues, I can't recommend Entler's enough. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Came in for a window problem, it wouldn't roll up. Turns out it wasn't even broken. But they didn't try to act like it was broken just to fix something and make that money. So I just had them do the oil change instead. But they were very friendly and accommodative, especially Dan. Their prices are the most reasonable you'll see for any one job, you can count on that. 5 star guys!!

Auto repair heck; there may not be a more stellar business of any kind on the planet. Dan and his crew have cared for my crinkled old 2003 VW Golf over the years like it was a Rolls; I'll probably drive the dang thing forever at this point. Friendly, fast, honest, brilliant mechanical geniuses -- could not recommend this shop more highly.

This shop was phenomenal and highly competitive in prices. They got me in before a work trip out of town, I had bad motor and transmission mounts. These guys were so kind, fast and professional. The prices here, yeah, absolutely incredible compared to every other shop in town. Take your car here, they do quality affordable work!

This auto repair shop is wonderful. The staff were easy to work with and I had no doubt that my car would be taken care of appropriately. They did remind me a few times that they are extremely busy so it may be difficult to schedule an appointment, but I had no difficulty for my appointment.

I tried to have them service my RV van and they gave me an honest answer......no. They did work earlier in the year and gave 5 star service.......this is a small garage, butdo honest work and fix only what needs to be done. Reasonable prices too. Taking my Toyota back my next month.

Really like this place. Took my car in for an oil change and regular maintenance and when I slept through my first appointment they got me in rather quickly for a reschedule. They are professional and personable and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Called them up when my check engine light blinked three times (misfire) which is potentially a very bad sign. They were speedy and professional and got it fixed with some new spark plugs. Highly recommend and will be coming back.
