Worst place…!!!! I was at pump 2 and I realised halfway when putting diesel that the diesel nozzle was leaking excessively. Therefore I stopped putting diesel and I saw a lot of diesel all around the pump which meant that the nozzle was leaking beforehand. I immediately headed over to the counter to inform the staff. The guy then asked me to move to the next pump and I moved to pump 7. When it came to payment he charged me for both the pumps without any explanation. I questioned him why and his response was “because the manager isn’t here”, and I was also told that I need to visit in store tomorrow to confront this matter with the manager as nothing can be done now. Firstly, I do not live local , and instead of him asking for my contact details to discuss the matter with the manager or asking me to contact customer services , he tells me to visit the store on the following day. I most certainly will not be making a visit to the store to discuss this! I have emailed customer service regarding this incident and surprisingly they haven’t got back to me!!
I filling fuel I went to fill my tyres. The machine was obviously faulty and rather than filling my tyres it drained the air from them. I went into the petrol station and told the guy at the counter and his reaction was, "your the first person to complain". Followed by, I can give you change if you want to try again. Annoyed I split a note to try again. The same thing happened. I am usually a regular at this pump even though it is expensive however anyone considering using it now I suggest traveling 15 minutes towards Watford and filling fuel for 3p a litre cheaper and somewhere you will not be cheated. I drove home with a flat very carefully and had to call the AA who informed me that this had happened to one other person at the same petrol station a day earlier.
COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT STAFF AND EXTREMELY RUDE. Went to pick up my parcel, none of them knew how to use the machine to scan the barcode and instead of having the common sense to work it out they screamed at me to get out of their shop. I find it funny how it took several attempts being yelled at, and the final attempt to pick up my parcel was when I was with a man and they gave it to me without hesitation. Would implore them to have some training on their machines, processes and common decency.
The are the most unfrendly company. My Numbers plate was scamed about 3 years ago end they tanked diesel in Birmingham without patine. I called police and Silvestru the issue. They are using and ancient and not update safety company. I tried to contact the safety company without any succes. I am not recommmend them. They are not polite at all. I will never use the again. I hope that they one day will become bankrupt.
NOT MOTORCYCLE FRIENDLY. I ve been refused to be served this morning as I had my helmet on, although I've been there many times in the past, with no issues. I do understand that there are other bikers that steal petrol, I believe that it's unfair to be considered a thief. Same can be said about you #Esso, I can considered you thieves when it comes to petrol prices, or quality of petrol or quantity delivered.
Very poor experience here . Came to pick up my parcel and the operative scanned my barcode from my phone. Asked for ID and presented my electronic bank card as ID as I have done many times before only to be told it was not acceptable.. operative shouted and was rude. Will not use this place again and have complained to Very and Esso. Poor service from this person. Be consistent in your practice
Turned up to be told they were on a 15 minute break, I had no fuel to go anywhere else, as I'd driven from the closest petrol station on my route (also an Esso) after they said they were also on a 15 minute break. They also don't have contactless. I'd go to the BP or the Shell instead; they're both within half a mile. 2/5 stars though, as they did redeem themselves by actually having petrol.
They “selling” gas bottles, but... You need to have your own empty one. Ok, so I bought empty one from someone on gumtree, in this difficult time (covid) it wasn’t easy, so I came again happy that I will finally get what I need, but no... It’s have to be same brand as ones the have in stock, no one told me that before!!! So I’m afraid that my grill will have to wait couple more weeks....
Milk is always sour, just seen that the 'refrigerated' section is not cold at all, so it's unsurprising. Went specifically for the Yodel package service but the person who had been left to work there alone didn't know how to use it.
Conveniently located. 3 entrances and exits. Pay at pump over app. However, take the pump furthest away from shop as otherwise you may experience low signal - so app might not work preventing you to pay at pump.
The diesel is very poor quality, my cars are running slower and they make a bad noise after filling. It is not once i have tried. I use to fill up alot at this place and the price's are expensive on everything
Staff absolute waste of space. Asked for a VAT receipt twice. Couldn’t do it. I couldn’t wait so rang number on receipt when I got to work and it was the wrong number. Numbers on internet were wrong.
Esso Supreme fuel gives the greatest mpg of all the "super" fuels. Tesco Momentum is also very good. This station is quite cheap, but not as cheap as Sainsbury in West Hendon or Asda Colindale.
I tried to buy my one bottle of water but someone there he didn't allow to me to buy one and he told me I should buy hold the box
You can use your nectar points to save on each litre of fuel. Lost stars because they don't have a customer toilet any more.
Terrible experience. Rude, patronising, mocking staff. Shocking behaviour. This is the last time I ever come here.
Good petrol station but surprisingly frequently runs out of fuel. On several occasions I had to go elsewhere.
The side down of most petrol station in London never have one toilet for costumer this is not acceptable
Poor staff with a poor attitude. Try and be a bit more friendly would be my advice. Just saying
Good option for petrol if you are on your way in to town due to its location alongside the A41.
Not 24 hours they close for breaks which is totally fine just don't advertise as 24 hours .
Small shop old pumps - doent hans receipta unless you very much ask them foe it.
Easy access petrol station, the shop has all you want. Good price for the fuel.
Not impressed. Quite expensive gas compared to asda, Sainsbury’s, tesco etc
Was a convenient untroubled stop. Even did a zoom meeting while parked up.
Clean, tidy and good choice of stock, no contactless tho supprised me
Convenient petrol station and stop on the way into London on the A41
Not enough parking places no kosher or halal food avaliable.
Friendly staff and good selection of sweets, chocolates etc
Be advised this station has no toilets for the public.
They don't remember you to use your Tesco card.
Good store, I always go there for petrol only.
Excellent service from a very pleasant lady!!
Good shop with a Subway sandwich bar inside.
Has been a very convenient garage for years.
Has now got a Subway and ATM. Much improved
AVOID - No toilets and they don't care!
Lotto Machine is always out of order.
Decent garage with a few groceries.
The best petrol station
