We had the pleasure of dealing with Evan J Strong Funeral Home when I lost my father in February. I wanted to write a review then for their exceptional service from start to finish. From the funeral director, Kurtis, to Evan himself and the wonderful hand picked staff....but I neglected to do so. Until today...when I attended another funeral for a friends passing and Kurtis was there. He came right up to me, gave me a hug and asked how I was doing. He did the same to my mother weeks prior when she also attended a friends funeral. Both my mother and I were quite impressed for their genuine kindness. This funeral home will NOT treat you like a number or a dollar figure, they will treat you like family. The bonus is the cost associated but the true treasure is the compassion and service given at a time of great sorrow and heart break. Choose them ...you will not be disappointed. Having had a prior, very positive experience with the Evan J. Strong team, we once again entrusted them with all our arrangements. Kurtis (our Director) put us at ease the moment we stepped into his office. He sensitively and skillfully guided us through the process while addressing specific, emerging needs.
