We have been going here for about 6 months and so happy we found them. I was having an issue with my power steering and told them what was going on. They told me to bring it in and they would look at it. We came in and told them I had a strict budget. As suspected I needed a new psp. Wasn't surprised at all. Steve was great he got us in that day and fixed it immediately. He even quoted us a price but when the work was done it came out to be cheaper. Then a few months later I started having issues with the power steering again. I diagnosed it myself and was going to just change the part out myself (it was a different piece of the power steering pump. So it wasn't covered in the warranty) well the way my car is built the piece was in a bad place so I couldn't do it myself. Called EAR and told them I had the part could they install it for me. Mike said no problem bring it in. When I bought this car I had known of the issues wrong with it. So when I brought the car in to get the part put on I asked Mike to put us together a complete quote to fix things he found. Everything I knew was on the list and nothing more. He gave us a great quote and I couldn't have been happier. While he installed my new part he also agreed to fix one of the wheel bearings. It took less time than expected which lowered the cost as well. Unfortunately when we got the car back a few hours later my steering wheel started acting up. Called Steve and told him what was going on. Thinking the worst (more money) I brought the car back in. Mike fixed the problem. One of the power steering lines was loose and just needed to tightened. Every time we come back here they exceed our expectations. I will never go anywhere else. Friendly, professional, and great work.

I just want to point out the extraordinary customer service I received from this establishment. Although, after my experience, I am convinced this is the norm for them. It all started on Saturday, where I took my vehicle to a tire shop to have my tires replaced. Upon the inspection of the last tire. It was determined by the tire mechanic one of the lug bolts were cross threaded and that the only way to remove, was to replace the specific thread. Mind you, I have no experience with this type of mechanics and being this was a weekend I had no choice but to leave their shop with a spare doughnut tire that had on lug but stripped. I left the tire shop frustrated and began my way back towards the hwy wondering how I was going to approach my new concern. At this point I notice Expert Auto Repair and a made a U-turn. As I entered the parking lot I recalled thinking, more likely I would receive the same information as the tire shop explained to me. However, I was wrong. Every staff member greeted me and from the start had a can do attitude and was able the remove the lug without stripping it further and had me on my way in less than 30 minutes. I personally want to thank ALL of you going above and beyond. I hope my review encourage others to bring business your way. You have definitely earned a new customer today. Thank you very much!

As someone who spent 30 years in the automotive aftermarket, I've learned that the experience one has with a particular business, whether it be an auto parts store or repair facility, can have as much to do with the customer as with the supplier of goods and/or services. My own experience, both as a supplier and as a customer of Expert Auto Repair, has been nothing short of excellent. But of course, each person will have his or her own viewpoint. My family, my colleagues in health care and numerous friends and acquaintances have all taken their car woes to Expert Auto Repair and have been thoroughly satisfied. And the truth is that, given modern technology and human limitations, one is bound to make a mistake now and then. No professional is exempt from this inevitability. The important factor is how one's supplier deals with unexpected problems. Again, the people at Expert Auto have bent over backward to make sure that everyone I know has been satisfied with their overall experience. And this must not be limited to me. Any cursory examination of the Yellow Pages or the Internet will show that independent auto repair facilities are disappearing. The ones that remain stay on top of new technological developments and treat their employees well. To me, that describes Expert Auto Repair.

I've taken my car to this place twice, and I was disappointed both times. Each time they: *Neglected to inform me of price/costs of service and tests. *Neglected to get my okay before performing a test. *They charged me twice for one test which was taken care of at time of checkout, but it felt deliberate and not by mistake. *Neglected to properly diagnose the issue. *Failed to fix the issue. For the prices that they charge, their service level is subpar. They performed a test on my electrical system and told me everything was fine, but the issue persisted. They charged me $150 to supply me with a diagnostic code, and then they told me they couldn't fix it. I would expect any mechanic to be upfront about pricing and services they can provide before they perform the work. If someone were to ask me if they should take their care to Expert Auto Repair, I would have to say, "No." I don't feel that I was treated fairly at the business.

I used to have my van and car worked on there when it was Adys, I live very close so I decided to make Expert Auto Repair my local Auto repair shop. I've been there twice. Once when it opened and today, I needed a headlight bulb replaced in my Subaru Crosstrek. I dropped by there to make an appointment for tomorrow. They did it right then and there! I was out of there in about 10 minutes and they charged me 1/2 the price of what a Subaru dealership would have charged. Curtis, Steve, & Bruce seem really professional and capable auto technicians. I asked Curtis about misc. other prices (oil change, etc.) and the prices sounded very reasonable. They are a locally owned business, and I like to keep my money in the local economy. I am going to keep then as my auto repair shop for my car and van business vehicles.

I love this shop! I got a new-to-me car back in 2009 and a friend who drove for Radio Cab recommended them. Cab drivers know! I’ve been taking my cars to them ever since, and I’ve always received excellent service. In times I’ve had less money, I’ve appreciated their recommendations for what would be good to fix vs. what needs to be fixed. They are very honest and don’t try to upsell services. Their prices are a little higher than Jiffy Lube or the like, but they’ll catch the stuff that actually needs to be fixed (unlike Jiffy Lube), without trying to sell you stuff that doesn’t need it (also unlike JL). I find their pricing very reasonable. A great company to work with.

From my first phone call, Curtis was polite, patient and informative. I decided to take my car there for an oil leak. Whereas other mechanics might have exploited the situation, they assessed it and informed me that it was just a minor adjustment, not a huge charge. On top of that, Curtis informed me of other potential needs and allowed me to make a decision through answers, no pressure. All communication was timely, courteous and informed. When I read these reviews, I'm looking to find out if the shop is honest, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend them! I'll definitely be returning!

Brought my (new to me) van in for an inspection. They shot me straight and did a fast, professional job all while communicating with me via text. The cost ended up being 200 less than quoted. Steve was great in his diagnosis and so were the mechanics who serviced ‘Vanarchy’! They also took the time to show me the worn parts on my van that they replaced. You have got to be kidding me. They always charged so little that I thought I'd found a great place... until I realized that they weren't actually doing work they said that they had done. Was told that a ball joint was replaced when actually they had merely greased the old one really well, making it SEEM new for a while. Was told that problems I had on my older vehicle could not be fixed, which turned out not to be true. Was told that I needed repairs which I did not need. The list goes on. If you want to pay a reasonable price for service you don't actually get, this is the place.

Absolutely stellar shop with very friendly folks working there. They stand by their parts and labor too! I had an alternator replaced by them, and it was a rebuilt one that failed within a few months and with zero issues getting me into the shop to replace it free of charge it was done in a day. Which was shocking and a very nice surprise that they stood behind their parts and labor! I have sent several folks here since I started using them for repairs and they say the same things. Honest. Fairly priced. Nice. Definitely recommend.

If there were more stars, this joint would definitely get em! Brought my 2000 Ford F150 in for a squeak & squak once-over. Friendly and honest service that speaks to the layperson! Steve was awesome! He helped me weigh the dollars and SENSE aspects of putting money into my ol' gal. For the first time, probably ever, my bill was significantly less than I had anticipated. Both times I used Expert Auto my car was left with negligent sloppy repairs. The first time after getting my serpentine belt replaced my car died in the middle of an intersection. Giving them the benefit of the doubt I gave them a second chance. After an axle replacement, they failed to attach my wheel correctly and my wheel collapsed on the highway. They are lucky no one was hurt but my car was destroyed. They took no accountability. Never will I recommend this place to anyone.

I finally found a truly HONEST mechanic. They are fast, reasonable, and communcate every step with you. Steve is extremely friendly, and will listen to your concerns with care. I came from another mechanic that was terrible, and made me feel like my opinion didn't matter. Expert Auto Repair did an amazing job, and took great care of my car! Their techs are obviously highly compentent, and do good work. I HIGHLY recommend this mechanic!

I started coming to Expert Auto after a union friend recommended them to me. They've become my regular mechanics and I am very pleased to work with them: always efficient, courteous, and very upfront with costs. The prices they quote me are usually right on, and they've never tried to up-sell me something I don't need. I've been burned by going to other shops, but Expert Auto has definitely earned my trust and repeat business.

As with all troubleshooting & repair not everything goes 100% perfect every time. But when something isn't quite right they will continue working with you and your vehicle to make it right. Scheduled an oil change with Expert Auto Repair and was able to quickly drop off my car and they called me less than an hour ready for pick up. After dealing with the dealership trying to up-sale this and up-sale that, I'm so happy to find a place that doesn't try to sell you repairs and items that you don't need. The staff respects your time and makes recommendations on repairs you might need in the future and are always friendly.

First time using this shop after it was recommended to me. Work was done pretty quick and was treated respectfully from the time I called to book my appointment to the time when I forgot my coffee thermos in their waiting area and it was returned super quick. Will be going back for sure.

I stumbled onto this shop on Google. They gave me the best deal in town for a synthetic oil change. They beat it all the Jiffy lubes that over charge you. They did not try to sell me Anthon more than what I went there for. I will be back for all my mechanical and maintenance needs.

I dropped my car off to get a check engine light fixed and a few other repairs. They had it done within the day and called me to keep me informed about what they wanted to do. The person who helped me was very honest and not pushy at all. I had a great experience!

As unhappy as I am with paying 190 bucks for a diagnostic, it WAS correct. Also, they did slide me in on a Friday (and I was calling Thursday afternoon). I declined them doing the repair based purely on their price to do so. I do not doubt their abilities.
