The reason for my 2 stars is due to all the issues that have transpired within weeks after the project completion. All these issues are now costing me additional $$$$ to repair. Back in April 2020 - The contractor build a new backyard deck with stairs and created a doorway from original home window. The project started well and was completed in less then 2 weeks. I was super happy with the initial results, however after a few weeks later things started to go wrong. The storm door wouldn’t close correctly and had to be removed/fixed 3 times (during the month of May) before it was finally installed properly. Not to mention the additional $$$ that we had to pay to correct the problem. We are now in June (2 months since deck was built) and we have additional issues... The hand-rails and stairs of the deck are leaning towards the right and slowly collapsing. The middle of the deck is slightly sinking in, requiring a beam/pole for additional support and the under deck water proofing installation wasn’t pitched correctly, and causing water storage under the deck - where now inserts are nesting. Needless to say we have to now spend more $$$$$ to get many things re-done, the hand rails, stairs, additional deck support for the middle of the deck and finally redo the under deck water proofing. Unfortunately I’m not able to upload photos on this review- if I could I would.

I hired Tim to transform my backyard by having him demolish and install a new deck, put up a new fence all around, pour some new concrete to expand the space, and I also had him install new stone along my driveway ledge and install two new doors in my house. Everything came out perfect, on time, at a reasonable cost, and most importantly to me, completely stress and headache-free which is what you rarely hear about most contractors. From the moment I first contacted Tim to completion, he and his team were always as professional as possible. No b.s., no games, no pushback on any request or question; Tim just genuinely wants you to be happy and takes great pride in his work, reputation and company. He's extremely responsive, very thorough, and wants to discuss all the details regarding the work so there are no surprises. He and his team are friendly and skilled, they take no shortcuts to get the job done right. I can’t recommend Tim enough and will be hiring him again when I need more work done.

It’s been a really rainy year and we’ve been dealing with the aftermath of what hiring an unprofessional roof repair team can do to a house. It was an absolute nightmare the type of leaks coming in our home because of someone else’s negligence. My brother had sent us several contacts to inquire about quotes which he found online based on great reviews. F&H was the first to answer, first to come and diagnose the issue, and was able to make an appointment for us the NEXT DAY in order to get the job done before a HUGE rainstorm. No other roofing repair team could beat them with timing and pricing. The process was easy, quick, professional. They sent photo updates as they worked. The job was very well done and the team are absolute sweethearts. They really made us all feel at ease knowing what great of a job was done to the house. And we definitely feel confident now knowing that we have them close to home for any other repairs that come up in the future.

I met Tim by chance a few years ago for a stone slab replacement in my exterior walkway (I was referred to him by a marble/tile store). I was very impressed at his quality and price. He then gave me a quote on my garage roof replacement and 1.5 years later, he still honored the quote (I was just postponing my little leak which got worse). He and his team did the job as promised in the timeframe he predicted and quality is good. I then asked him to do a bigger project for the exterior wall of my house and a portion of the roof. I am very happy with the results and will be calling Tim for future renovation/upgrades/repair needs. Another important factor are his workers who perform great work. I don't have to worry about checking up on them all the time, and they see every detail that needs to be fixed or missed. Very impressed guys! Thank you again.

I really want this review to count. Tim (and team) of F & H Renovations is an upstanding gentleman and every company should wish they had a representative like him. He promptly answered my request to quote my problem leaking roof, he arrived on time, respectfully and got down to business right away climbing onto my roof and thoroughly inspecting the area (not just glossing over it and ) churning out words I would not understand. It took him a good amount of time to take measurements and get all the information he needed all the while he gained my confidence he would proficiently take care of the job. All this is to say if you want a job done, and done well please remove any unsureness or doubt and hire this team. You will not regret it and you’ll probably call on them again in the future. I sent a request for an estimate on the FH Renovation website and Tim got back to me instantly. He and his partner were at my house in less than 30 minutes. They quickly assessed the situation with my gutters and rood and texted me photos from the roof. He pointed out other simple issues but did not pressure me to address them immediately (though I chose to have him fix everything). The work was done in under two hours and the price was very reasonable and affordable. I would definitely recommend FH Renovation--they are local to the Morris Park/Pelham Parkway area. Very professional, reasonable rates, and the work was done well. Before I found FH Renovation, I got quotes from other local competitors who quoted exorbitant and outrageously high prices.

I am very happy with the finished product. I contacted FH Renovation regarding an estimate for a complete gutter replacement. Tim and the team, showed up on the agreed date and did a good job. I was very happy with that job result and decided to do a complete roof replacement. My new roof was completed a few weeks later in a timely manner and the crew was as professional as the first time they worked on my house. No debris were left behind. My neighbors were surprised how quick, clean and fast the team completed to job. Thank you FH...good job.

Great service and professional work. I bought the house last year and paid somebody to clean the gutters in April this year. But there was another heavy bag of dirt clean up from the gutters this month when I realized the gutters need to be repaired. Tim and his team came to estimate quickly and clean the gutters very well before repairing and putting the covers on the gutters. They also drained the sewer pipes that had been blocked up with leaves and I thought the sewer pipes were abandoned long ago.

Any repair needed on a home can bring so much stress mentally and financially. It’s hard to find people that are honest and reliable which is stressful on its own. But from the moment they came to do the diagnosis, they made what I thought would be an uncomfortable and stressful situation into a peaceful one that will finally bring solutions. Now, no matter how hard it rains, there’s no leaks. They were very supportive, professional, and they had the quickest turnaround time! Absolutely love them.

I had a roofing leak as a result of missing shingles. Somewhat of a small job and I reached out to another contractor first. The other group promised to come but never showed. I called FH Renovation and on short notice they took care of the leak in a very professional manner. They were timely and surpassed my expectations. Initially they were my second choice, but going forward, any work I need done, I will contact FH Renovation first.

The deck of our home needed to be fixed. We had old exterior carpeting & wood underneath that needed repair. Tim gave me an assesment. He along with his crew where here on time for the 1st day. After 4 days they completely transformed our deck! An expert repair and laying of the new tile. They were professional, timely and priced fairly! The next time I need an exterior work on my home, I will certainly contact FH Renovation.

Tim and his team came by to our house and immediately went to work. He explained the work and even was proactive in cleaning up the gutters for us as well as sealing a few holes he noted at the top of our roof. He inspected the roof for us and gave us his analysis. I have Yankee gutters that are built into my house. I had pretty bad damage to the gutters and the surrounding wood; and even some roof problems in my heavy graduated slate roof. FH renovation came to my house and fixed it all. Tim is very hard worker and can handle even picky customers like me. Comes on time and does the work he says. After the work I had no leaky gutters, roof or carpentry issues. Very satisfied.

Tim is wonderful!!! It’s pouring rain in Larchmont tonight and we were not aware of a clogged gutter. The rain came pouring into the kitchen through the ceiling lights. Tim was here within 10 minutes of my call and was able to unclog the gutter AND he kindly wet vac’d all of the water in the kitchen and basement!!! I got to say that this has been one of the best experiences, working with a contractor. I reached out for a deck and within a matter of hrs we got the quote, which we found reasonable and that took into consideration what we wanted to see. Skylight replacement and restoration. I called FH two years ago about a leaky skylight. Tim put plastic around the skylight then as a temporary measure - which lasted two years. Just had him back to replace the skylight and it looks awesome. Very pleased.
