I met Vinny from Side by Side about 2 months ago. I was in the process of looking for a house. I found one that I liked, but the outside of the house left much to be desired. I found Side by Side online as well as a few other siding companies. Gave Vinny a call, he was able to come the next day and give me a quote on what it would cost to make the outside of the house pop! After meeting Vinny, I canceled all of the other appointments I had with other siding companies. Vinny was professional. On time. Explained what needed to be done. He overall seemed like a genuine guy. He wished me luck on my home search in the event that I decided against the home he had just given me a quote for. I went with that house. Closed just a few weeks ago. Called Vinny literally the day after closing. He and his crew started my roof and siding 2 weeks later. He told me the job would take 5-8 business days. They were done in 6. Not just done, but beautifully and professionally so. I greatly appreciate the great work Side by Side did. I am not easily impressed, but with this project, I certainly was!

Called Side by Side for a gutter cleaning on a Thursday and Vincent and a team of three were at our house the next afternoon. We rent a large house in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn and our elderly landlord had not cleaned the gutters in years! In fact, we tried ourselves but could only reach a small section safely. Vincent & the Team pulled 210lbs!!! (yes, we weighed the bags) of decomposed leaves and such from the gutters on this 5000+ Sq Ft house. Got a quote on new 5"/6" gutters for the owner, too, from Vincent, as the guys tackled the job. Stood by the gutter cleaning quote given up front and I gladly tipped the guys on top of the quoted price upon an excellent job done!! We will use them again once all the leaves fall this season. Recently doing Home Improvements in the Marine Park area, there is no Company more Efficient, Professional, Punctual......all of the above From the Owner to the staff and workers......Amazing. Side by Side specifically Vinny, was very responsive to my initial call, set up a time to meet and review our issues, he went over our options giving us prices as we considered how to address our gutter issue. He was clear on what his staff would do and when we talked to others we were assured the price was better than fair. We received a call to schedule job on a day convent for us, they arrived on time and his workers were very respectful went about their business did a nice job and cleaned up every bit of garbage. Before leaving Vinny made sure he went over all that had been done, that we were satisfied and asssured us if we had any questions we should not hesitate to call him. Vinny and Side By Side did a great job on my home in Brooklyn. Since the recent storms we have been having, the rain was falling in my kitchen and living room. Side by Side and Vinny were a referral from a family member. What a great team of individuals - we are very happy with the entire project that they were able to complete for us: Roof replacement (rafters, plywood, shingles) on part of the house, waterproofing parts of the garage. This is the second time I’ve used Side by Side for roof repair. I called Vinny on Tuesday evening about a roof issue. He came on Thursday morning to look and provide me with the estimate. A couple of hours later he sent his workers. The workers were very professional and efficient. They finished their job in a few hours and my roof looks beautiful. Vinny’s crew was amazing! Vinny was very attentive to what we needed done. Each night before the crew left for the.day, they cleared all debris left from the work done that day. Materials are good quality. In addition to having the house re-sided, we replaced three windows. After looking at the windows the morning after installation, we noticed a crack in the glass. Can’t speak to their actual work, but customer service and professionalism is 0. Vinny came out once, but never gave me the promised estimate. When I eventually called to ask about it, he didn’t remember the scope of work we discussed. Made several follow-up appointments with him to come back, but he never showed up. He leads you on when in reality he has no intention of coming and doesn’t care about wasting your time. I should’ve dropped it after the initial ghosting, but since they were recommended I gave them the benefit of the doubt.

Had them come out twice now for different things. Both experiences were great! First time was a couple of months ago when there was a huge storm and saw some metal parts on my roof. Vinny and his crew came out and turns out it was from my old roof antenna. They removed it and patched up the hole. The second time was to patch up a crack near the skylight. Both times the response was quick and did a really good job. I highly recommend them. I know for sure I will be using them for anything I need for my roof!

A microburst damaged part of our siding, so we contacted Vinny the next morning. He came over that same day to take a look and quoted a very reasonable price. Soon after, he and his team came in the morning to repair it. They were very responsible and efficient, finishing just hours later. After, they even cleaned up all of the trash. After 5 days of heavy rain my gutter was overflowing. I immediately called Vinnie and he responded at the height of the storm. He immediately diagnosed it as clogged gutters and scheduled to clean them as soon as possible. Today his team came and cleaned all the gutters and downspouts. Very happy to work with this contractor. They came for an estimate the same day we called. We had a leaking roof in many spots. Vinny is knowledge and the estimate was very fair.
