One star is a lot for this establishment. Absolutely RUDE, LOW level, UNSKILLED STAFF. Disrespectful to another level. AVOID THIS PLACE, DON’T RUIN YOUR DAY. Details of what happened: Drove there to mail an online purchase return; thus, i’ve had the package semi-wrapped, and the pre-paid label from the store. Only needed a proper envelope or box to cover it, and attach the prepaid label. Then, asked if it was possible to buy a box or envelope that fit my package. The sour clerk started to lecture me on my packaging and label being outrageously wrong… then I said, that’s the reason why I asked to purchase a proper packaging, but he seemed to likes to hear his voice, and proceeded talking to the extent of accusing me of taking advantage of USPS… ohhhh kay, I then asked if I could not only purchase an envelope/box, but also a proper postage - because I had no idea what the prepaid postage included, as it was sent to me. Without no one’s help, I found a worn-out envelope that fit my package, I was going to tape it up, buy the new postage, and be done with it. Except now, he wanted me to PAY for the WORN ENVELOPE - hahaha is it a joke, I thought, then said “now you are the one taking advantage of me.” That might have hurt the ignorant clerk’s ego, poor thing, he REFUSED to SERVICE me. Interesting, how people are so quick to point fingers, without having a clue, and when busted, they find a way to step on others to feel taller/better.

This is the one post office that doesn't feel at all like a post office in all the right ways. It is located at the Grove beside the farmer's market and you can pick up magazines, candy, etc. in the same place where you wait in line. It's one of those best kept secrets and the line is never long... Plus they stay open later than any other post office. The receptionists are warm and professional, friendly and quick to help with any mailing questions. Maybe it's the atmosphere, but you don't feel like you're dealing with the DMV or your downtown hectic post office. At the Grove! Fresh air! Lovely!

What a pleasure doing my mailing needs here rather than a regular post office. It's the equivalent of a post office inside a theme park, which made it fun. I went at 630pm which is an hour after USPS is closed and was still able to get my mailing done. Parking is validated. Very nice worker at the window also. Charges under $5 incurs a $0.25 for card transactions. Also if you need help finding this place it is directly west of the fake gas station pumps on the Grove side of the outer farmer market.

Had to get something out at the last minute - you've been there. Made several errors in the rush. Charlotte handled everything & was pleasant and thorough, and she could probably teach most, if not all regular postal workers a few things about customer service, of course, you have to reciprocate that respect. Mission accomplished. Anyway, what other legal USPS Post Office is open on Sunday in Los Angeles (not the one by LAX on Aviation) anymore?

LOVE doing all my basic mailing here. Regular staff is VERY helpful, amiable & helps me find most economical way to mail my parcels! This Center is open longer hours than regular post office, & 7-Days a Week! I usually don’t have to wait, & when using this USPS Center they VALIDATE PARKING (I think for 1-1/2 Hrs! Farmers Market parking CAN be challenging, but, I’m usually in & out in 15 min or less!)

Not a convenient location unless you already are at the Market. If you follow Google maps directions you end up in a pay parking lot, $2/15 minutes. You can get your parking ticket validated if you make a purchase at Monsieur Marcel which is on your way out of the lot. The actual post office is a booth inside the newsstand next to a produce vendor, it's not obvious.

I never thought I would say this but I look forward to going here. From passport forms, to regular mail to stupid questions they always know what to do and are very helpful and patient. The line is very short and best post office type place I have ever been to.

Mr. Paul gave me and everyone pleasant personal attention. Everything he did was expertly done with precision and with care. He turned back the clock and brought old time grace to the whole experience. Worth extra mile to come here for snail mail art!

Mr. Paul was very professional, patient, informative and quick witted. We were in and out. I highly recommend coming here. Ps park at the whole foods across the street so you don't deal with hectic parking.

Charlotte the manager is such a sweetheart! What a lovely kind helpful personality!! I was so thrilled to be helped by her 20 minutes before closing!! I’ll definitely come back again!

Open 7 days a week! Suitable for busy people! A bit small so will take long time if it gets busy. They will give you validation if you come here!

  • Suzannah Sparks

Basic mailing is a breeze. Do note they don’t do USPS broker labels if you need them to print that label

  • Tim

The people here are so nice and helpful. No matter how busy. Detail oriented and efficient.
