"Disgusting customer service by your employees at the counter"
"It was a quick and easy process"
"Absolutely ridiculous"
"Had to pick something up from Amazon Hub Counter - there is not one ! so I queued to speak at the normal counter only to be told it's counter 7 I need, well counter 7 had no one using it - so the queuing was a waste & speaking at the normal counter just held up other customers"
"For the first time I visited to drop a letter"
Disgusting customer service by your employees at the counter. I came in today wanting to change a postal order for my passport renewal. Your employee told me very rudely that I had to go back to the post office where I got it from today for a full refund. I would have never made it on time, so I asked him to purchase a new postal order. He charged me £115 for a postal order of 98.70 and an admin fee of £12.50. When I enquired about the amount he told he had to take cash out. So I asked if I could have saved the £12.50 if I withdrew cash instead, to which he said no very rudely. At this point he was talking in a foreign language to his colleague while he was serving me. I ended up agreeing to the £115 charge. My card was declined. So I stepped out to move money around. And when I came back he wouldn’t serve and his colleague served a lady who jumped the queue rather than me. Extremely poor customer service. No wonder everyone does everything online nowadays. I forgot to mention that he kept asking me to show him my cards. Will never go back there again. Rude, disgusting customer service.
It was a quick and easy process. No fuss and I was out of there quick. Get there early in the morning when the crowd isn't big and they aren't overwhelmed with the BRP collection+ other services. Join the line outside but make sure you are given a queue number ticket as well before you get to the counter (someone from the office will come out and pass them out and collect your official documents at the same time so they can prepare and give out the BRP cards efficiently and in batches). This makes it very smooth. Not sure what the issues were before but it seems they are figuring out/have figured out an efficient system. Key is to get an early start to the day and make your BRP collection your priority in the morning.
Absolutely ridiculous. There is now signage telling you what to do or where to go. The staff is unhelpful and slow to even respond to obtaining a number. The post office is severely understaffed for the volume of BRPs they are supposed to be taking in and processing. Throughout thos whole process the staff treated all of us as an inconvenience and eventually moved all of us in the BRP queue outside, where it is impossible to hear. Not only that, when they sent us out, they stopped calling our numbers all together. I waited roughly an hour and fifteen minutes. The only thing keeping this from being one star is how helpful the lady who eventually helped me was.
Had to pick something up from Amazon Hub Counter - there is not one ! so I queued to speak at the normal counter only to be told it's counter 7 I need, well counter 7 had no one using it - so the queuing was a waste & speaking at the normal counter just held up other customers. I suggested to management adding a sign Amazon Hub Counter so other customers know, and they could not understand the benefit. Dreadful system , no signage and they dont care for feedback on how to improve ... appalling
For the first time I visited to drop a letter. The lady at my counter was quick. What i really did not like is- one of the gujrati employees asked a gujrati customer to skip the queue and go to counter. The gujrati man was hesitating but the lady was insisting him to bypass the line. Finally he did that and collected his courier without having to stand in the queue. And we , who were waiting in queue were just looking at this non sense!!!
An excellent Post Office, by far the best I've used. I visit daily for the past 10 years (since they moved from further up the road - now Leyland). The staff are always extremely helpful and friendly, providing a professional service. Parcels are processed quickly and invariably delivered quickly. Great money exchange counter and the shop floor staff also very helpful. Highly recommended! A+++
They do keep queues moving fairly quickly as they have a least 7 counters. I personally find the shop too warm and needing to take layers off once I’ve walked in. Main bit of feedback is that I always feel like I’m an inconvenience for the staff when I visit. Please remind staff that posting parcels via the post office without return isn’t a common experience for everyone.
I have been using this post office during many years. It is one of the business post offices in London. The demand for service in this spot is insane. I don't know how they are coping with so much traffic. They are always trying to serve everyone as fast as possible. Rasmita and Mamun are my favourite! The amount of work in this post office cannot be underestimated.
I had always a great service & experiences from Pragna, Rashmita and all other staffs at Farringdon Post office. Always try to help to everybody and go beyond their limit, very friendly and always smiling. It is pleasure to visit them. Strongly recommend to use this post office even if it is little far.
I see Royal Mail doesn't care about its reputation as long as this awful place keep making them money. Lazy, rude and awful staff. The sad thing is that many decent people struggling with unemployment would kill to have this job. Franchise or not, shame on you Royal Mail.
Honestly, the nicest post office around. In terms of service all the lovely people on the counter are polite and helpful. I've been going here for years to drop off stuff for work and feel very comfortable with all the staff. Take your post no where else!
Awful customer service. A relatively young Asian guy was not just rude but also spoke poorly. Make us feel he is doing us a huge favour by working behind the counter. If I could give negative feedback, such as -5 stars, I would definitely do that.
I come to farringdon road post office at least 3 times a week. I would like to thank Shivani for her help every day. She always smiles. Shivani is very nice, professional, helpful and very quick. Is always a pleasure to be served by her. Thank you
Best service ever I have been using this post office for long time, posting a high value items feel safe and secure about my post. Staff is very helpful good to see friendly and smiley face when you walk in to the post office like Farringdon.
The male staff I met today was so RUDE!!! Before seeing all these reviews, I thought I got national discrimination; however, it seemed like he is a ridiculously unfriendly and disgusting person. Hardly to believe that such a person would be
Great experience at the Farringdon Road Post Office! Shivani was courteous and professional, very pleasant to deal with. Just a remark for Royal Mail/Post Office. A £12.50 tax/surcharge for a £100.50 postal order seams a bit of a robbery....
Extremely rude, lazy and unprofessional staff member. I went in this afternoon to collect an item that was delivered to the collection point here at 9:40 am. I told the man behind the counter i was here to collect a delivery, he asked to
An absolutely awful service. I was served by a trainee with extremely limited English, whom I can only assume messed up the posting of the important letter that I sent via registered post. It should have been delivered within 2 working
Horrible, inhospitable staff with an absolute lack of professionalism. Hate that this is my local post office. Letters have gone missing, been conned on multiple occasions and their products are ridiculously overpriced so I never ever
Absolutely terrible experience at the post office. Firstly, the staff are very rude. Secondly, most of the staff do not wear a mask (this might be important information for certain people). I went to collect my BRP, I went to the post
The post office is very vital to our business, having the need to send multiple parcels a day it can be very frustrating at times however my local post office makes the experience a million times easier! Very friendly and always
Shockingly bad service. No one seems to care about their job. 5 people behind the till. Only one serving customers. Others chatting to each other. Queue of 10 people at lunchtime. Honestly wouldn't use again if I don't have to
Everyone that works here always makes my frequent visits hassle-free. Pragna especially is so lovely and even remembers the delivery service I always use. I’ve never had a single problem in my many visits to this post office!
Shivani was brilliant when the Italian Consulate were disorganised and gave me terrible information. She helped me understand all il the things I needed to do so I could get the PO and envelopes for application.
10/10 service. Shivani and the rest of the staff are always a pleasure to see when I have to post anything. They're always smiling, always helpful, and I look forward to posting more with them in the future.
Always excellent service! Daksha, Pragna & Shivani have helped me send over 100 books to customers successfully. All the other staff members there are lovely as well. Very grateful for all their help!
This is my first time visit to Post office… Iam not used to it… The employee PRAGNA she was very kind and helpful… It was a great experience because of her… Thank you PRAGNA for your service.
My visit to post office Farringdon. I was served by PRAGNA & RASHMITA with fantastic customer service experience and very lively. It was awesome and lovely ….. My 5Star ***** to them all.
Without a doubt the worst place on Earth. You will never encounter more unfriendly and incompetent staff than this bunch. UK Home Office should remove them as a collection point for BRPs.
Excellent Staff and Very Good Customer Service. Wide range of Services available and Probably Fastest Postal Service I have used. Highly Recommended. Been visiting since last 7 years.
I have just been to swap my old stamps for the new and had a very pleasant experience. Daksha was friendly, smiley and very helpful with getting this sorted for me. Thank you! :-D
Everyone is always helpful and get this done quick. Big shout out to the filling ladies and gent Daksha, Rashmita, Shivani, Pragna and Mamun. I appreciate all your help!
I came to return a package, they said their machine can’t scan the QR code. I then decided to pay the council tax, then their machine can’t proceed none of the card…
Amazing service when sending a large amount of parcels for clients. Shivani is super helpful and efficient. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
I come here to post almost every day and the staff is absolutely fantastic. Especially Daksha is so accommodating. Is always nice to be served by her .
Long qeue because not enough staff and pressure when dealing with important documents because costumers complain and staff rush you instead helping.
I went to collect my BRP card here, took only 5 minutes. There was no rush. Post office is good overall. Staff can sound a bit rude though.
This is a very busy post office and the staff are always friendly and polite to customers. particularly Shivani, who is on of the tellers
The staff was so incredibly helpful and kind. I definitely recommend this place to send out return packages. Thank you!!!

I was looked after by Pragna today, her and her staff were extremely attentive and fast!
