Yesterday I was having a really hard day and was super low. I attempted to borrow a book on loan just to get me out of the house. I knew I had 1 or 2 overdue but not with me as I'm having some time off work and that's where they were. There was a lovely man working behind the counter who said it was no worry at all to borrow this one book and was enthusiastic to serve me. I really was expecting it to be a no. His kind nature and smile made me feel a little better in that moment and I wanted to say thank you for that. Ferntree Gully Library is very lucky to have him as an employee.

Great local library. Nice park behind with fantastic walking tracks to walk your dogs just be careful of the very noxious weed called wandering jew, dogs a highly allergic to it causing them to scratch & bite themselves until they bleed and still won't stop, it causes a bacterial infection that only antibiotics from the vet can treat so therefore the noxious weed can also cost you a lot of money at a vet. They are also part of the Knox festival every year.

It's a nice library but can be very loud at times, with storytime and kids running around and screaming. There's not much separation between the kids section and the study section. The library staff often talk quite loudly to one another too, which can make it hard to study/work in. But everyone is really friendly and the desks are nice :) beautiful outside area too, gorgeous.

Honestly, this is one of the best Libraries I’ve been too. The staff are fantastic, knowledgeable and helpful. The books, CD’s and DVD’s are all up to date. The place is beautiful, sort of nestled into some bush lands and beside a park. I dealt with Mario who helped me get a library card. If you have community questions they can also point you in the right direction.

The Ferntree Gully, Knox Library is like many other places, Shut for renovations and maintenance. On the when we get around to it basis. Frankly, for the benefit of other species on this planet, I hope we never ever get out of lockdown anywhere!! We are too much the garbage tossers to avoid spreading pox. AMEN.

It is located in a near a park, sports ovals and a community nursery. With the covid 19 rampant again in Victoria ( july 25th) only 20 people allowed inside. One has to scan ones card near door and then select you books and check them out as normal and have you card scanned on the way out.

Ferntree Gully library is a wonderful place to visit, borrow, and learn things from. The staff are always most helpful and pleasant to deal with. It offers a lovely atmosphere to spend time in for as long or as little as one likes. Well done to all the staff at Ferntree Gully library.

Very private, quiet. Surrounded by nature and a decent running/walking route. Library is quite small but it's cozy with 8 usable computers for 1 hr time periods + printer. You have a hall for some activities that are run during the week like yoga. Staff are friendly.
