First Fleet Park is named for the first European settlers that landed near here. It’s located between the Museum of Contemporary Art and Circular Quay so easy to get to via public transport as buses, ferries, light rail and trains are all located in this transport hub. There is grass and paved areas the public can access. Great for picnics and people watching. The space is used for a lot of events and exhibitions throughout the year as well included Chinese New Year, the Bastille Festival and the Louis Vuitton SeeLV exhibition. It’s s free public space when not in used for an event.
Picnic area
Grass area can be used by the public for picnics when the lawn isn’t closed for maintenance or event.
Big open space beside circular quay with ferries. Good view of Sydney opera house across the waters and on the same side as the Sydney harbour bridge. Space was filled with tents for food and performance area for Bastille Sydney festival 2023. Visited on Sunday 16 July 2023.
My very favourite pool in Sydney. I go here pretty much every day. It's just brilliant! Being undercover you can do laps for hours without being impacted by the sun and needing to put on sunscreen. But on a weekend, if I have time, there's
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sydney's First Fleet Park with my family, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. As we awaited our journey to the airport for our flight back to Melbourne, the park provided us with a serene
Small park within the heart of circular quay area. Great place to just sit back and relax. Well shaded.
Dog-friendliness
Small park. I would not bring a dog here specifically.
Picnic area
Well shaded so nice area for a picnic.
Cool little park rite on Port Jackson "Sydney habour" with the cruise ship mourning rite there & the busy ⛴️ ferry port there aswell. Its a great big slab of green grass. And a great place for having lunch or just lazing the day away...
The most iconic location in Australia, and to have a small but appealing park here is fabulous. Many a time that I have sat on the green grass after a run and just watched the Manly Ferry cutting its way to Circular Quay.
Currently having the LV exhibition which you have to prebook tickets for (dec2022). Otherwise it’s usually just a land of grass, with a lot of tourists. Very small park, wouldn’t actually label it a park. Many bin birds.
When the jacaranda blossomed, it’s perfect to visit and chill out. Even though I’m not good at taking a picture, if you guys are there someday, you guys can see beautiful petals than what I took it.
A great little place to recharge the batteries after walking around everywhere. It's well maintained but often busy. Love lying down on the grass there either in the sun or shade.
A beautiful part of Circular Quay
Picnic area
There's seats and lawns, great to bring your picnic basket with and enjoy busy Sydney Harbour
Nice place to take rest n enjoying view of Harbour bridge. You would always find some nice singer/musicians playing something.
You can see Opera house and Harbour Bridge at this park. In springtime, you could see Jacaranda flowers with lovely view!
The See LV exhibition was terrific. The exhibits were marvellous and the space was beautifully set out.
We went to Sydney Fringe Festival at First Fleet Park and had a great evening! Bernie Dieter’s Cabaret!
Magnificent views of circular quay and opera house, perfect for relaxation or lunch time leg stretch.
One of most beautiful place in Sydney. There also have some small cafe and also outdoor rest areas
Small park with Jacaranda tree, but we came here too late, mid November. Most of flowers are gone
The best place to get the view of Opera housr and the bridge, plus you can get water faries too.
Awesome place with great atmosphere. There is a great mix of sights, sounds and smells. …
Lovely park right in the center of the city. Great to relax and take a break from the city.
Beautiful purple trees and some seats and grass to picnic on. Watch out for the ibis lol.
Cute little park in Circular Quay you can watch the world go by.
