I was with another large Brisbane law firm paying top dollar and it felt like I was getting thrown under the bus. Deciding that I needed a second opinion, I called Fisher Dore Lawyers and spoke to Tom Gardner. Tom Gardner is very easy to talk to and calls it as he see’s it. He assessed my circumstances and suggested that the outcome that the other firm were saying were inevitable, was not a fore gone conclusion and that there was a possibility that I could reach a much better outcome if he were to do a little work on my file. He pointed out that he could not promise me any unrealistic outcomes but there was a real chance of a favourable judgement. In the end, Tom exceeded expectations and managed an even better out come than we hoped for. An outcome that my previous lawyer and Barrister said that there was not even a slight possibility of. Tom’s fees were roughly the same as my previous lawyer but let me say the two were like apples and oranges. I learned very quickly that there are lawyers that take your money and just go through the motions and there are lawyers that are very good at their jobs and get real results. Tom is definitely the latter. If ever I needed legal representation again, I would be straight on the phone to Tom Gardner.

My experience with the firm relates to a common law claim for compensation , in which I was represented by Brendan and Steve and their associates. DO NOT RECOMMEND ! After 12 months of using nick Dore as our lawyer we had absolutely no results after spending 10,000’s of dollars. We decided to change lawyers only for them to say they spent the remaining $4,000 in our trust. We then found out they hid a variety of options that we could have been offered to speed up the process. Never once did they visit my partner in person in jail to discuss the matter. By far the worst lawyers I’ve ever come across. Not professional and do not care about their clientele!
