Went into the shop looking for silver dollars but they were too small to be added to my tank which housed a stingray, spoke to a male salesperson who said you can't add new and old silver dollars together (which I've never heard of before) was eventually persuaded to buy 2 baby Oscars, he assured me after many times that they won't get aggressive (which oscars are known to do) due to being baby's and growing up with bigger fish. After 3 weeks they totally attacked all other fish and stingray taking chucks out of them. Called the shop asking if they would take the fish back for free to which they said they can't sell aggressive fish and suggested to feed them more or just add ornaments to break the line of sight, which i said i cant due to having the stingray, Called kellyville pets they were happy to take the fish straight away. Will never return to this shop again based on the poor customer service ,lack of care and Only looking for a sale.

Most extensive range of aquarium fish in the Hills. Saltwater species are spectacular as are the various display tanks to give ideas and inspiration. African cichlids are prominent too. The usual tropicals and goldfish are excellent too. Very knowledgeable staff and patient during the covid19 lockdowns. Worth a drive to check it out. And they only do fish - not other pets. A bonus because they specialise and are good at it. I used to breed African cichlids many years ago and only got back into keeping a tank of the water world during covid to keep occupied. Advances in fish keeping are huge and this shop shows it

I have dealt with Steve and James for over a year now for my aquarium needs. They have a great wealth of knowledge on freshwater and saltwater fish and coral and always happy to answer all my questions. I keep going back because of their great customer service and honesty. They would rather you not buy something than end up with a tank full of fish that don’t get along. Best aquarium shop in the hills and a must stop if you’re thinking about getting a fish. Keep an eye on their Facebook page, they quite often will have sales and specials on which they announce on there.

Not happy about costumer service. There was a teenage boy, he tried to sell everything to me. I mentioned to him, I need 10L Betta tank and he keeps offering me 20L, also, he wanted to sell all other stuff which I did not want. Other staff looking us and laughing! SERIOUSLY!!! As local guid in Hills District I would not recommend cause of lack of professionalim and customer service!!!

Excellent selection of fish, the tanks always look far healthier here than at any other pet store. Same with the plants. They also have an amazing selection of decorations and accessories. They are more expensive than other places but you can trust them and they have great advice. You can tell the staff know what they’re doing.

Love fish tank. Huge selection of koi fish. Wish I had a larger outdoor pond. The staff are always helpful. Great selection of Cory Dora’s, love the Pygmy corydoras. Lots of tetra options also which was perfect for my small tank. Plenty of options for my large tank also, gauramis, loaches, rainbow sharks, Plecostemous!

The store has super knowledgeable and friendly staff with prices that aren't greedy. Very grateful that they are always willing to give advice, and this helped me cure white spot in our tank recently with no causalties. Even though it's not our closest aquarium, we make the trip to Fishtank if we need anything :)

Visited the shop today, the staff were very helpful, she didn't just want to make a quick sell, but rather asked questions like how big is the fish tank, how many fish is in the tank, etc, very professional. Also, pricing of products are quite competitive too. Lastly, plenty of stocks to choose from.

Hi all read a few negative reviews yesterday decided not to go there woke up this morning and decided to go. Well it was unbelievable. In 5 min had all 3 staff ask if I required help. When I wanted help came straight back to me and helped immediately. There stock levels and knowledge was exceptional

Great service for someone coming back into hobby after 30 year hiatus. Good advice, confirming/reminding me of key points without talking down to me about tank care. Allowed kids to roam shop and pick their fish, and great attitude towards the entire family making their decision.

Only got into the hobby a month ago, and the staff at fish tank have helped me out so much, from walking me through what I need to do my first aquascape to even setting up and guiding me through my first co2 system! Bunch of good product surrounded by lovely staff.

Friendly, helpful and knowlegeable are good qualities for a great business. Fantastic selection and the aquariums are clean and healthy. Definitely worth checking out if you are into Aquariums.

Small but a good selection of tropical fishes and equipments. As a local fish store, it’s my go to place for regular items. I got a very good betta from here and is still my favourite.

Local store with an amazing range of live fish and complete stock of accessories. More importantly knowledgeable staff. Plenty of expert advice and no hard sell tactics. Recommended.

Cosy family run shop yet having a lot to offer. Would say the experience is more self serve and it might be better for you to do your own research first before heading into store.
