I had one of the best day spa experiences here and they’re currently running their Seasonal Package and I tried their Winter Pamper Package: Winter Awakening. Upon entering the store, I was kindly greeted by the staff and they served me tea so that was really nice especially when it’s cold outside. This package includes half an hour of hot stone massage and one hour of deep facial purifying and cleansing treatment. You’ll need to take off your shoes and wear their in-house slippers before entering your treatment room. My treatment started off with the best hot stone massage on my back (while laying face down) and the pressure was perfect. It wasn’t too light and wasn’t too strong as well. You could feel the expert hands of the masseuse with the help of massage oil and hot stones massaging all the muscle tensions and knots away. Just perfect. After the massage, I turned around and laid on my back to prepare for the facial. The lady who did my facial was really gentle with my skin and you could almost fall asleep. It was a great experience not to be missed. And the whole time you get that spa-like music playing in the background. Definitely interested to come back again!

Not sure if the therapist is cross trained. Massage not properly trained for sure, facial is average but the products were just not suitable to my combination skin - booked the 1 hr body including head massage and 30mins facial, head massage was done when I was facing down(not sure if all of their head massage was like that), I was quite sensitive to their facial products and didn’t do mask in the end, which shortened my entire treatment of the facial. When I come in, I’m the only booking of the morning and was 10mins late as I couldn’t get a parking on a Wednesday morning, so I guess location and parking nearby also need to be considered as it’s quite hard to get 2 hr parking, most of them are 1P. After I came in, no sleepers were provided and I had to ask for it, no water provided I had to help myself. Poor service and poor customer experience, if you wanna get some relaxation and indulge yourself, not a place to go. I wouldn’t recommend to any of my friends.

I’ve tried the urban escape package. The treatment didn’t happen in the order stated on the website, I got the full body massage first, head massage then facial treatment. The head massage felt super short and the facial treatment longer than 30min. Not too big of a deal there but when the lady started doing the facial I had no idea what was happening because she didn’t talk at all, not even when she used a machine on my face that was uncomfortable. Also she left the room for about 10min while the mask (I assume it was) was acting. In all Spas I’ve been too the lady massages either hands or scalp in the meantime, not leave the room. I certainly did not want to just lay there when I’m paying $269. After the treatment finished, the lady said it was done and left the room. I was the one to say thank you before leaving. It was overall awkward and and I expected more with the price tag. Disappointed because it has so many good reviews :/

Best facial/massage experience !! I came to Five Elements Spa without any expectation so I was very very impressed with the service provided. The staff here are super friendly and they went above and beyond - always making sure I was well looked after and taking care of the finer details such as asking if I wanted a tea before AND after the spa treatment. We tried the Winter Awakening Package. It was so relaxing and honestly one of the better spa facial/massages experiences I've had in Melbourne. The facial was a purifying and cleansing treatment - it was very hydrating - the lady who served me always made sure I felt comfortable and was letting me know what she was putting on my face. The massage was definitely the winner of the day - I didn't want to leave the place. Highly recommend Five Elements Spa as I will be back more frequently than not. For that price, I think it is such a great deal to treat yourself and your loved one!

The overall environment is good and staffs are hospitable. However, the masseur is definitely not professional enough. All press went to the inappropriate spots while the strengths are too weak to be felt most of the time. Whoever prefers strong tissue massage, this spa won’t be your ideal choice. Follow-up: The merchant and his friends attacked me on another Asian social media platform soon after I shared this experience there, calling me racist and said that’s the reason I wasn’t satisfied with the service. I bet you it’s not. As I said, the vibe and staffs are undoubtedly nice but the masseur is unprofessional. They initially replied me as below and then had deleted all attacks on the other platform while amended the reply here in a more “polite” way.

Long wait time even though I was punctual. Also waited a long time for the therapist to attend to me after I removed my clothes for a massage. Poor customer service, poor communication, therapist wore squelchy shoes that squeaked every time she took a step. The room was freezing and the therapist made no attempt to heat the room which made the experience very unpleasant for me. I left the spa feeling sick with a runny nose. The massage was okay. Except for the part where the therapist used a cold wet towel that she hand wrung to remove the oil used in the massage. The body scrub was poor considering I was freezing due to zero heating and the therapist was using a brush to apply cold the scrub. Would never go back. Was a waste of my time and money.

For the longest time I have been trying to organise a spa day with my best friend and that’s where we came across Five Elements Spa. I have been going 1 million miles an hour so I booked us in to have the Utopia package and it was absolutely the experience we both needed. I had an incredible aromatherapy massage and my friend had a deep tissue massage and we both felt like a weight had been lifted - both physically and mentally. To finish we both had a foot spa and massage and it was the most relaxing experience. If you are looking for a sign to take some time out for self care this is it! Absolutely incredible experience, the staff are so attentive and calming and you will leave feeling so much better than when you walked in. Will 100% be back ☺️

Very average massage - my masseuse was absent minded (kept slowly rubbing the same spot with one hand for a long time to the point that it was uncomfortable) and went away for a few minutes for the towel. The time allocation of body parts was odd as well. In the end it felt like she was just doing random things until the time was up. For the price I expect a decent massage. She didn’t even ask which body part I wanted to focus. Just went straight in. I’d rather go to Amy Thai Massage or Calm Thai Massage that offer better massages and are cheaper. For the record this is me second visit. The first one was actually good. Sadly not all their masseuses are well trained and I was unlucky today.

My Mum and I visited Five Elements Spa and tried their Autumn Paper Packages, which was the perfect way to de-stress on a chilly Melbourne Day! My mum especially loved how they applyed her facial used collagen to improve her skin health and also focused on removing black heads! I especially loved the Japanese bath and the full body massage was definitely needed! It was such a great massage - I dozed off a little because I was so relaxed!! Overall we both really enjoyed the experience and you should definitely check this place out if you want to be pampered or spoil a loved one!

Stepping into this spa was a very welcoming and friendly experience, I was greeted by a lovely staff member named Elina who made the experience feel 5 star from start to finish. She was extremely friendly and had plenty of knowledge recommending the most suitable treatment for my concerns. I had a 60min massage with Elina and cannot explain in words how incredible it was!! From the pressure to communication and overall care she showed for me, it was truly wonderful. I will recommend all my friends to see her. The best massage and service ever! The facilities are clean and luxurious A++

I got the bad luck, or maybe I just expect too much. I feel like it is not worthy as the price I paid. I chose to have deep cleansing facial treatment, but the therapist even didn’t use machine on my face, she didn’t explain to me or talk to me. She left me along with the mask on, and the mask made my skin irreating and burning. No face massage, I got it, cause my skin is sensitive. She not even gave me head or neck massage. Lack of communication and lack of caring. I would just suggest to choose 90 min massage + 30 min facial instead of 1 hour massage + 1 hour facial.

Very relaxing and calm ambience, close to the heart of the city. I came here for a much needed facial during the week and was not disappointed. The shop has large individual rooms that offer high end facials and massages, for a reasonable price. The facialist was very professional and showed great skill. I particularly enjoyed the ambience and solitude, being able to take a good hour out of the usual hustle and bustle. Will definitely be back again and highly recommend a visit.

I took my mum with me for a spa day and we actually had the best time! The Japanese wooden bath was so calming and I had the best deep tissue massage after! Usually I'm pretty stiff and tight that most struggle to get deep enough for the massage, but the lady was amazing and got out all my tight spots! My mum had a facial and massage. She said it was one of the best facials she has had in a while! 100% would recommend Five Elements Spa! I can't wait to come back!

I have been here today before having a shop in Southmelbourne market. And, Everyone welcomed me. At the moment, the owner said, he could offer 20% discount for all the massage treatment. There was no reason to try. So, I tried for an hour deeptissue massage by Paul and it was wonderful. I am really happy that the luxury spa openned in Southmelbourne. I will visit here again to treat my-self on my off-day.

I came here yesterday to have a deep tissue massage done with specific instructions to focus on my back as I had a stiff back. Kelly did the massage for me and she is very experienced. She easily identified the problem areas and paid attention to those areas. Felt very relaxed for the rest of the day after the massage and had a good sleep last night! Will definitely go back again to have another massage!

This was my first time to Five Element Spa they did not disappoint. I had the most amazing deep tissue massage I felt so relax after and that all tightness in my shoulders was gone. I finished with a mini facial which was the perfect was to end my treatment my skin felt so fresh and clean after. It was definitely the perfect way to de-stress from a stressful work week. I can’t wait to come back again.

I've been having tension in my neck and shoulders. Body massage helped reducing soreness and tension significantly. Also facial deep cleansing made my skin brightened and pampered. I went here by myself as a treat after a long week, it was absolutely blissful The lady at the front was super friendly, she welcomed me with some hot tea. I tried their Winter Awakening Package. It consisted of a hot stone body massage and it was super relaxing. That was followed by 1 hr facial which left my skin glowing! I can’t wait to get back there again

One male masseur who seems like a polar bear did massage me. He found every- spots without having a conversation :) His massage is like three people doing massage on My body, I must visit here again. Five elements is a tranquil oasis of bliss and relaxation! The ambiance at Five Elements is simply enchanting. The beautifully designed interior exudes a sense of calmness, with soothing colors, soft lighting, and a gentle aroma that instantly put me at ease. And I love the Lupicia tea as well!! Will definitely come back and recommend to all my friends.

Stopped by today, saw the price is reasonable and I like the decorations and cozy. Also the therapist was nice and careful. I had leg problem for months. She took care of me and during the session she was patient and gentle. After the massage she also gave me professional opinions. Really enjoyed the massage. Must recommend to friends.

Definitely highly recommended if you are ever around! I did Cupping here today. The staff are friendly, and the service is way better than what I expected. Other than a massage and cupping, they even told me how to look after my body. Will come back again! BTW, I really love the Grapefruit Japanese Tea in the store❤️❤️❤️

This is an amazing experience. I had the Urban Escape Package and it was so relaxing. It felt like I escaped the city and it was definitely much needed for some stress relief. I felt like my body melted and the facial was so refreshing and cleansing for my skin. I will definitely be back !

Very relaxing and nice customer service. We said it was a bit hot, and they put the aircon on for us. (It was 37C that day) They also had some welcome tea for us to drink before service and after service. I'd definitely go again when I get some time. :D
