Honestly This was THE best massage experience I've ever had. Thank you so much to Lisa,Akiko & Ye (all of you please forgive me if I've spelt your name wrong). My partner and I did the princess package with a hot stone massage upgrade as a couple. We booked well in advance and added in a seitai massage as well. It was absolutely brilliant. It was so relaxing to receive the body scrub and a little thrilling to experience the wrap (I was sure I was going to slip off the bed when I turned around but Lisa had me covered). The hot stone massage was a first and definitely absolutely wonderful. We were given a small break with green tea served before heading back for the final part of the package which was the facial and the add on of a seitai which I had purchased. I can confirm the seitai is NOT for the faint of heart and I was still feeling it a few days later. Ye however made it a pleasant experience in the moment - acknowledging and warning me up front that it wouldn't be a pleasant thing BUT it would help my muscles long term (which It has). He was genuinely delightful and funny throughout the process which helped calm me down. I will also add a wonderful benefit was the fact that while we weren't in the EXACT same room, our rooms were connected by a sliding door. Giving us both the pleasure of being "together" but also being able to enjoy our massage experience alone as well. I want to add in that I appreciate that Aya and the others for constant email communication when trying to book this experience. I appreciate them for taking calls, responding promptly to emails and giving proper clarification on all of my questions. Especially since my SO and I did this as a couple package when it's normally just for individuals. It was an amazing way to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and I thank you all so much for it. Especially since we came in on a Public Holiday. Thank you so so much for being so wonderful I genuinely can't wait to come back again for another round (but may do Seitai first :P )

Went for a head to toe spa experience to the new one opened in Daylesford over the weekend and I wasn’t impressed at all. Firstly, there is no signage to say it is Sensu Spa, they have retained their old name of Daylesford Day Spa so we weren’t even sure if we were at the right place. I’m not sure what the rooms in Melbourne look like but the rooms in Daylesford looked very clinical and didn’t give you that feeling that you were at a day spa at all. Most important, my massage therapist had garlic on her breath the whole time and kept on sniffling her nose which made for a very bad experience. The massage was less than ordinary, I have had way better massages at my local massage place. The technique just wasn’t there. The facial was ok. I was expecting a much better experience and unfortunately was quite disappointed. I definitely don’t recommend their services as I’m sure there are other day spa places in Daylesford that offer a much better experience.

What a Zen of a place this is. My husband and I were wanting to have a relaxation massage after much shopping exploring. Found the spa near the hotel we were staying. Coming here, staff are welcoming, polite, friendly. We had couples relaxation massage on one of the days whilst a foot massage during last day of trip before heading home. Ambience very nice. Staff knows what they are doing. Our masseuses were really good on both days. This place gets super busy so good to book online. Prices are reasonable for the quality of service provided. Highly recommend.

This is the best deep tissue massage I’ve had in a long time. I’m very dense & muscular and my job is very physical as well as weightlifting so I usually struggle to find someone that can really get get into my knots and tightness but Noriko did an amazing job. I gave her full permission to massage as hard as she could and she delivered, she kept asking if I was ok and if she needed to back off which I appreciated but I am really happy with how deep the deep tissue massage was. I would 100% recommend her and Sensu.

Aweful. Do not go here, you're better off saving your money and going somewhere relaxing. In response to your email below. That is not what your receptionist told me. She said there was nothing they could do and subsequently charged me the full price despite the booking issue. Either she was unaware or you are misleading people to save face. I did find your email asking how my experience was annoying given the lack of help I was provided with.

I have visited here a number of time and had both the hot stone and relaxation massages (both 90 minute ones). The staff here are always so friendly and give the best massages. The environment is very relaxing and I cannot recommend any other spa in Melbourne as much as this one! My last appointment was with Sakura and she was so lovely and my massage was fantastic, she got rid of all the tension in my shoulders. See you again very soon! :)

Your opportunity to experience Japanese hospitality in Melbourne. Very friendly, helpful and kind staff. Privacy is high and this allows a very personal day spa experience. From the moment you step into the tatami slides, slip on the warmed bathrobe and slide your feet into warm peppermint water behind shoji sliding screen doors, you know your treatment session is going to be good - I was not disappointed. Highly recommend the sushi lunch.

Sensu is definitely best beauty spa in Melbourne! I always leave feeling refreshed & relaxed . Their venue is so lovely and tranquil and their team are always courteous and professional. I love their Head to toe package. Absolutely sublime and reasonably priced . Today Valentina did my treatment. She is amazing ! She puts so much care and skill in to the treatment and does a great firm massage and a beautifully gentle and relaxing facial .

The experience of the Japanese princess package was not very good. First of all, the room is not warm up in the morning, and I feel cold when using the massage cream; secondly, the facial care is not worth the price, basic cleaning is not done, just massage; finally, the massage technique is not good as from that of a massage shop It looks average. I don't recommend the facial treatment as well. Overall, it's a disappointing experience.

Visited for the first time and booked the Princess spa package. The hot stone massage and spa facial was good. Renee, my therapist was very experienced and the whole experience was amazing. A different therapist did the body treatment (wrap) which was average… probably wouldn’t try that again. Head massage was not good. Overall, lovely experience and already planning to book the massage treatments again with Renee.

Sensu Spa offered a large variety of massages and other treatments, housed in a serene traditional Japanese-style venue. Service was great; the staff members were very polite, tea/water was offered on arrival (and at the end of the massage session too!) and I was provided sandals and robe to change into for the massage. Facilities such as waiting rooms, changing rooms, and lockers were also available.

An absolutely exceptional experience, thank you to my therapist Millie who performed an incredibly relaxing and soothing facial, complete with scalp and neck and shoulder massage. The products used were suitable for my sensitive skin and I was glowing afterwards. Thank you for making me feel like I left on a cloud! I’m so glad I made the right decision to come to Sensu Spa for my very first pregnancy massage. The staff are so understanding and kind to accommodate me despite being late. Had the Babor facial which was very relaxing. My face felt very soft and smooth afterwards. The environment is generally quite nice but I think my treatment room was close to the shower or something so I kept hearing the sounds of water splashing, which was a bit annoying. Also I wish they incorporate shoulder massage in the facial - it would improve the overall experience.

Millie was absolutely amazing and her detail to attention was outstanding. My partner and I went for our baby moon and I am currently 37 weeks pregnant. I booked for my first Spa Facial with Seiko who was kind and made me feel comfortable. She was also attentive and made sure to use the gentle products on my skin as I've had sensitive skin in the past. She also did a scalp and neck massage and the pressure was so nice. It was exactly what I needed on my day off so thank you!

I had a float session and massage. It was my first time trying the float and the staff were good and made it clear what I needed to do. The massage was also good but the rooms aren’t sound proof so be aware that when you book a massage you will be able to hear people coming and going, and talking in other rooms.
