I had an appointment Aurora for a trim today and I probably had too high of expectations for a trim. I asked Aurora for a 4-inch trim, I have long hair and two layers and curtain bangs. Firstly, she's very slow... I tried to give her the BOTD because I thought she was trying to pay extra attention to detail but it was painfully slow, I fell asleep and my body and neck felt very stiff. At the end, I asked for a blowout but that was mistake. She separated my hair into 7 layers to dry it layer by layer which took forever and it still didn't hold a curl... because my ends were too blunt. I asked to dry the rest myself towards the end. The ends of my hair weren't as thin as I wanted but I was not going to stay and ask her to thin it out more and wait another hour in that chair. I had already been there for 1.5 hours for a trim... I appreciate her patience to take her time cutting and blowdrying but her technique was not great. I tipped the standard 20% for the effort because maybe she's not used to Asian hair? Got home and realized my layers were super choppy, even my boyfriend was disappointed. For a salon called Fix, ironically, I'll need to get this fixed. 3 stars instead of 2 stars because I'll accept partial blame for not going to my usual stylist in Kirkland.

I'm not normally the person to leave a poor review but after my experience I felt like I had no choice so that others don't have the same thing happen to them. I booked an appointment with Anthony and the first photo is the look I requested. My hair was the same length, and I didn't need any color, just the cut. I was hoping for some big blowout layers just for some shape. The haircut was so quick it didn't feel like he spent any time measuring to ensure parts were even around my head and face. He confirmed with me that I didn't want to lose any length before starting, but then the cutting started and didn't stop. He sheared off all the length and thickness around my face, leaving a mullet-looking tail section in the back bottom layer. After leaving I immediately went to a different local salon in a full panic, asking for someone to help fix my hair because my sister's wedding was just a week away. The new stylist was an angel and did the best she could, but all that could be done was to chop it all off and attempt to blend the awful layers. I asked for a refund from Fix but they would not give me one, just the offer to go back and have someone else help fix my hair. As you can assume, I will never be returning so this review is where I'm at.

I've been going to Mandy for cuts for a little while and last time I was in she suggested highlights, so I booked an appointment with her suggestion, Lindsey. I had my appointment with Lindsey yesterday - I was nervous because I haven't had my hair colored in 10 or so years. I have naturally dirty blonde hair and just wanted to highlight some of the lighter parts around my face without getting super light or obviously highlighted. I prefer a really natural look and it can be hard to communicate that, but Lindsey was super attentive, she asked clarifying questions and kept me looped in at every step of the process. On top of that, she was delightful to spend 2 hours with! She's a lovely person and made what can be a really tedious experience enjoyable for me - I was giggling throughout the whole appointment. The results are also beautiful! I had nothing to be nervous about - my hair looks natural yet intentional and it's exactly what I was going for. 10/10 recommend Fix and, if you're going for color, I highly recommend going to Lindsey!

Terrible place to go. This whole apt. Cost me $700. Outrageously expensive to not even get what you asked for. Hair dresser asked personal health questions during apt. They tried to charge me a month later taking $300 out of my account (because you have to give card number for first apt) I had to dispute it with my bank and everything. Luckily my bank agreed this was bad business on Fix salons part given that fact and that I also could not get a hold of manager or owner once trying to solve the issue first with the business. This experience turned my financial life upside down for a long while. All I wanted was some highlights. My hair took a year to repair from the first $700 apt. I can’t believe a business like this can sleep at night doing this to a costumer. I am an honest reviewer, save your money and hair and go elsewhere!!!

I came in for a health trim and face framing. The stylist paid very little attention to the frayed edges she was making around my face with my fine hair. I even came back for a revision. She did the exact same thing as the first appointment, running the scissors through my hair in a vertical direction, creating a choppy stringy look, despite me telling her I only wanted the parts that were uneven and the random hairs sticking out by themselves to be trimmed. It was like she ignored everything I told her and gave up because I don’t have full, thick hair. Also, she only cut my hair while my hair was parted in one spot, barely moved my hair around to look at it from other angles. I didn’t get a very customized cut at all. Not worth the money. Just disappointing.

Rhiannon and Lexi are my hair dream team! I’ve been seeing Rhiannon for 2 years and I am NEVER EVERRR disappointed with her work. I’ll admit, I’m indecisive/very open to color variation usually and my hair is long, curly and red. She’s always up for the task and she always kills it. I recently met Lexi for the first time and they were forthcoming on what exact treatment would be best for what I’m looking for vs what I thought I wanted going into the appointment. They taught me so much on the basics of hair care and were so patient with me through the whole multiple hour process. Being a color person for 10+ years, my hair has never felt healthier. Thank you Lexi!

Honestly it was a hair corrective. Danny did such a great job. Super professional and fun. The man knows his hair. Going blonds from red... not an easy task practically impossible. He made it happen. Cynthia is on the front lines at the front desk and she was super friendly and very helpful. Mandy the owner did my consultation and was nothing but honest never over estimated and Danny went well over my expectations. The staff was great. Also it was very clean and an all around pleasurable experience. Highly recommend Fix Salon, but only if you want your hair done right in a beautiful salon.

Today was my second ever visit to fix, the first being a year and a half ago since I rarely get my hair cut. I came in today for a long haircut with Rhiannon and I had such an amazing experience! Not only did Rhiannon do an amazing job on my hair, she made sure she knew what I wanted before we began cutting and told me she was going to dry my (new) bangs and then I could tell her if I would like them shorter. The communication from her was great and she made me feel so comfortable. I was also sent an itemized receipt after I left which I really appreciated. Will absolutely be coming again!

My time at Fix Salon was excellent from beginning to end! When I came in, I was greeted warmly, offered refreshment, and felt very welcomed. My hairstylist, Lexi, was excellent! They listened very carefully to what I wanted, and they offered great advice. All throughout the process, they stopped and asked me for input on what I thought of the cut so far. They are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. It is the first time in my life… No joke… that I loved my hair the first day it was cut. Usually I have to wait about two weeks to like it… Sort of. I highly recommend a Fix Salon!

GO BOOK WITH LEXI! I went in a month or so ago with streaky highlights and hair that tangled and broke easily. IDK what Lexi did, but I'm pretty sure it was magic. They took my sad, dry, hair and turned it smooth and strong, while somehow making me the blondest I've ever been! Lexi is an amazing person and is really willing to listen and understand the vision (even though I'm a little clueless and don't know what to ask for). I bought products while there based on Lexi's recommendations and was so impressed I came back to the store for more suggestions. I love this place. 10/10.

Lexi was great! I got impulse bangs and couldn't be happier with the results. They made sure I was happy with the style throughout the cut and were very communicative about what the final result would be since the example pictures I showed had a different hair texture and wouldn't be exactly what I ended up with. They gave me a tip about shampooing twice each hair wash, which helped me go from shampooing 3-4 times a week to once or twice even with my fine hair texture. They were also knowledgeable about hair products and styling tips, and super fun to chat with!

I came here the first time and had kind of a frustrating experience, but the owner Mandy was super quick to reply and offer a revision. She and Lexi made a plan to change my hair from chunky orange highlights to a super blended highlight color. I also really liked taking to Lexi. They’re super easygoing and gave me a bunch of great tips on hair care, and product recommendations when I asked! Also my hair was blown out super beautiful, which I didn’t know could be done since I have curly hair. Overall, I can’t wait to come back for another blowout :)

I recently moved to the Seattle area and was feeling tentative about the idea of going to a new salon. Luckily I hit the jackpot on my first try when I got my hair cut with Lindsey! She was so knowledgeable and was great at making sure I got the haircut I wanted to end up with. I’m someone who is pretty low maintenance when it comes to doing my hair, and she took extra time during my appointment to show me different easy ways to blow dry my hair or style it. I definitely plan to recommend Lindsey to any of my friends looking for a new salon.

Hi there to whom who reads this review DO NOT RECOMMEND DON’T waste your money and energy as well as your precious time at Fix Salon! Usually I don’t write a reviews however, the Fix Hair Salon made me write it. The hair stylist LIED to me and overcharged me. When I called to schedule an appointment I learned the price was $151 and then once I arrived the hair stylist changed the price to $221. It was an inch edge cut with one simple coloring. I was super disappointed and the foremost deceived. It was my first and the last time there!!!

Lexi brought life to my hair again!! I came in with very one-dimensional hair. Lexi was intentional about asking questions to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted, and the end result was spot on. In addition to her talent, my favorite thing about Lexi was how much she made sure I felt comfortable - she asked permission before moving my head around for a better angle, and she explained the "what" and "why" behind everything she was doing. I left here very happy, and will definitely be coming back to Lexi in the future!

Great service when you can get a hold of them .. I called for an appt and they refuse to answer leaving multiple messages … I canceled 2 times cause of having Covid and a death of mother .. and they canceled me on my bday when I really needed them and told me they can’t see me anymore cause of me having family issues and death in my family I can’t believe how heartless they are and so rude … they have a cancellation policy yes .. but what happened when they cancelled on my bday a service I really needed .. you sicken me

Mattea is such a sweet person. She is very focused when she works, and she values your personal opinion. The salon was also very cozy with bright lighting in the early morning, the plants and complimentary drinks for customers. The only thing I would say is the time slot for long/thick hair customers should be longer as it takes more time to dry and manage the hair. This is more for the salon owner/manager than for the hairdresser. I wish I had more time with Mattea to tweak my face framing. Will definitely come back!

My 7 year old daughter wanted a short bob haircut and we booked a cut with Lexi! She was wonderful!!! She was so great with my daughter, was so friendly and did a great job on her hair. When she was done she asked if there was anything I wanted changed and she happily made a few small modifications to her haircut to my liking. To top it off, she loves Disney and even has a Disney princess tattoo so my daughter felt really comfortable! So so happy and looking forward to bringing my other daughters back!

Exo was AMAZING!! She is the first hair stylist that I have met in Seattle that truly understood what to do with my thick, Asian hair. I love how knowledgeable and kind Exo was. Literally lifted so much weight off my shoulders. I was so unsure about what I wanted to do with my hair, but she was very patient with me and helped me figure it out. For all the other folks with super thick, dense hair Exo is the stylist to go to. For the owners of this salon, Exo deserves all the praise and a raise. :)

Lindsey is amazing! She lets you explain exactly what you want and checks with you through the process to make sure you get exactly what you desire. I asked for lots of fluffy layers and curtain bangs, and she cut it exactly how I envisioned. My hair looks just like a pinterest photo! Lindsey has such an amazing and bubbly personality, she really makes her clients feel special. I find it hard to trust people with my hair but she is now my go to stylist in the Seattle area!

Been going to Fix Salon for a little over a year and I never leave disappointed. Rhiannon is my primary stylist and she is amazing. When I first started going to her my hair was in really really bad shape from bleach and home coloring. With her advice and attention to detail, my hair hasn’t been this healthy in the 10 years since I had my kids. Communication is on point and I always feel well taken care of. Been coming for a little over a year and will continue to do so.

We just had another AMAZING experience with Lexi! This is the second haircut my 16 year old son has had with her. She is so personable and relates exceptionally well to teenagers (and younger kids alike as she has also cut my 9 yo and 13 yo boys’ hair). She is very attune when it comes to understanding and asking questions regarding the style and look desired. She has always delivered a cut that is spot on to what my son is looking for. I highly recommend Lexi!

I had an awful experience here. Danny was cold. I asked for a warm brown and ended up with a brassy dark brown with silver/blue undertones. He rushed through appointment and when I called to get it fixed they said they couldn’t fix it, the styles said I had showed him a different pic (why would I have a picture of ugly hair on my phone?!) and they said they would refund me but still have not. They have ruined my hair and I’m heartbroken.

I had a great time here, Anthony whose a level 3 cut my hair. He was very knowledgeable about hair products and hair tips to help the issues I’ve been having with my hair. I appreciated his kindness and willingness to hear my concerns. We had great conversations and I valued his opinion on what haircut suited my face and suited what I needed to gain from my hair. Will definitely be coming back here as everyone was so nice and efficient!

Anthony is the best of the best. He gets my color right every time and goes above and beyond with pro techniques to add dimension and blend color to perfection for a gorgeous natural look. I am always happy with my cut, color and style. He has taught me how to take better care of my hair and get it to a much healthier place. An added bonus is his positive attitude and awesome personality which makes my day better after every visit!

Danny is awesome! I received a great cut and color. He listened to all my questions/concerns and made sure I was comfortable with his advice/solutions before performing services. Before I left he made sure that I had the products so that my hair is perfect every day between visits and even went so far as to be sure I knew how to use them. Lindsey is WONDERFUL. She was my stylist in Bellingham, where she did a beautiful job transitioning my colored hair to natural gray over the course of two years. I am now happily traveling to Fix Salon in Seattle to see her for haircuts - I always leave feeling beautiful and uplifted by her joyous personality! I’m so happy i decided to book with Exo, she really took her time/ asked a lot of questions to figure out what i wanted to do with my hair. She took her time cutting it, blow drying it and the going over it again when it was dry to blend out all the layers properly. I previously got a really bad haircut at a different place and i’m so happy she was able to make my hair look good again.

I have been looking for a new salon, and I really enjoyed my experience here. Everyone was friendly and the environment was welcoming. I appreciated being offered a beverage, and enjoyed my tea after coming in from the cold. Exo was very friendly, helpful in understand fees for services and did a terrific cut on my hair. So easy to style and Exo is very fast! I booked an extension consultation as a new client a little over a week ago. I checked in for my 3:15 appointment and waited 15 minutes before walking out. It’s a bad first impression. Had the salon called and told me they were running behind and asked me to come in 15-30 minutes later, however, I would’ve gladly obliged and appreciated the courtesy.

My sister, my mom and I have all been going to Mandy for years - she is just the best. She really works to understand what you’re looking for and give you a cut that will work well for your hair type and your preference for upkeep. I like to just wash my hair and leave it be and every time my new cut delivers perfectly.

Going to Lexi is a luxury. I have never felt so catered to when getting my hair done. Lexi pays such close attention to detail and makes the entire experience 10/10. My haircut looks great. Then again, my haircuts always look great. I totally trust Mandy's skills and taste. If everyone I dealt with approached their job with the natural confidence and ease with which Mandy works her magic, my life would likely be more serene.

Mandy has cut my hair since about 2005, and has always done a really good job with my somewhat difficult hair. The shop itself is light and airy, and the background music is always good, never loud or intrusive. I have had a really nice experience every time.

Aurora was very sweet and a perfect fit for the treatment for my 12 yo daughter. It was so kind that the owner came to ask how things were going. Even the young man at the front desk was extremely kind and helpful.

I was 30 minutes late d/t unforeseen Seattle traffic. She was still able to fit me in for a quick dry cut while another one of her clients had color that was setting. Great haircut and appreciate the flexibility!

I heard from several close friends. They are rude and cancel appointments last minute. Was looking for some place to get an updo for my baby shower. But now am highly considering taking my business elsewhere
