I have been to this salon couple times now, the experience just go worse and worse. For the last one, I booked an appointment on June 22nd for a root to end full color for August 23rd, which is the same treatment I booked the first time. All of sudden I got an email on August 18th stating that I have booked the wrong service, if I want to get the same treatment as the first time, I will have to book an hourly service that they are not sure how long it will take… for context, I have not colored my hair since my last treatment one year ago, and I’m simply wanting to achieve a medium brown on my hair, I don’t understand why I will need to book a color correction service at all. So I emailed back and asking why this time is different, why it was not communicated after my first treatment and their answer is that the stylist that did my hair before was new and did not know the difference of the treatment and went ahead and did it anyways… then I further ask why this was not communicated when I booked the appointment back in June. They claims that they tried calling and texting for the past month, I did not respond but turns out that they had the wrong number of mine, just the area code though instead of 206 they had 260.. I have been living in Seattle for quite some years now, there is no way I would typed in the wrong area code… so yeah.. I was very disappointed at that time already, I found the communication to be very unprofessional and decided to cancel my appointment. Thought this will stop here… then their owner called me the next day and asked to chat, I was in the middle of something so I asked her to email me instead, her email was polite, but basically stated that I put in the wrong number therefore they cannot contact me and they really tried so it’s my fault really, not exact word but hmmm okay. So I decided to book an appointment from a different salon and before I booked, I walked into their salon and asked if I need a color correction service, they were like, no your hair is super simple, just book a root to end service…. Sooo.

Edit- I was called back by the salon after I mentioned that their keratin treatment didn’t work on my hair, they gave me a second treatment free and put the blame on my shampoo. I told them the de fabulous shampoo I had used even before during my previous keratin treatments but the hairdresser made a weird face when I didn’t buy the shampoo from their store. They were trying to sell another shampoo and conditioner. . Now almost 4 months later I got another keratin from a different salon and my hair looks excellent, yes I used the same shampoo to wash my hair. So I guess it’s not my shampoo. The pictures speak for itself- first one is keratin treatment from a differentsalon and second wavy pic is just the day after washing at Sensa salon. I would not have edited my review if the hairdresser wasn’t so rude to me, I want them to understand that customers are not fools, and no matter what shampoo we use the treatment can’t just wash off with the first wash. some shampoos might wash off the treatment faster but no shampoo can wash it off on first wash. Please check what kind of products you are using at your salon, coz the other salon had a similar price range but their treatment worked. Previous review- I had got keratin express treatment 2 days ago, as instructed I washed my hair after more than 48 hours. My hair looks exactly the same it did before I had got the treatment done. This is the 4th time that I am doing a keratin treatment and normally they have lasted at least 2-3 months, this is the worst experience I had only at sensa salon. I am not sure what did they do to my hair or if they used a product which was expired. Nothing about my hair feels like a keratin treatment done just 2-3 days ago- my hair is frizzy as before and not even shiny. It just the same. Also I feel that they overcharged me - the stylist only trimmed the ends of my hair, no new cut or full haircut. But they charged 70 USD just to get the ends trimmed. I will not go back to the salon.

I wasn't satisfied with the coloring job so the salon reached out to me literally 30 minutes after I left a review online! They asked me to come in so they can fix my hair for free so I will be satisfied with the end result. You guys! I went in and they gave me a partial foil and my hair looks amazing! I am very happy with the blonde, the blending job is exactly how I wanted it to be! I highly recommend this salon, they will definitely make sure you walk out of there FULLY SATISFIED!! OLD REVIEW: I really wanted to like this salon!! My haircut looks BOMB, my experience with Sarah was amazing, but my blonde hair color job is not satisfactory. This is probably the worst coloring job I ever had. I asked for a full head of highlights because my hair has grown out so much. I wanted to be as blonde as possible and my hair right next to the roots is darker than the hair that grew out, the blending job is terrible, you can clearly see the line where the old blonde colors meets the new one. I am not as blonde as I wanted to be, usually I would ask for the same thing in every salon I went to and my experiences have always been amazing. But this time the coloring job is truly a disappointment, especially for the most expensive salon visit I ever had, which cost me $300. In the pictures you can clearly see that there is a line between darker and lighter blonde tones, and how terrible and not smooth the blending is. I am very disappointed with the coloring job. I probably won't be coming back here again. I am giving two stars for the cute haircut and good service, but taking away 3 stars for the poor coloring job.

I was ready to not love this cut, but I was proved wrong!!! When I arrived there was construction on the front wall and construction guys coming in and out and a ton of noise, the salon was running late, and things felt a little chaotic. I was ready to not like my haircut. There must have been a different appointment running over as I waited 30 minutes. I was 10 minutes away from leaving to get back to work! Lo and behold, I love my hair haha. It’s so cute. I was proven wrong! Alex was amazing. And although they did have me wait a bit they kept me updated so I knew I wasn’t forgotten. Even with not knowing my hair and me giving warnings about the thickness and my hair texture, Alex gave me exactly what I wanted. Alex is very sweet and his presence calming. I’m hard headed from growing up with a ton of hair and I was blown away with how gentle he was, usually hair dressers rip through my hair and Alex was able to get through it without any pulling even during a blowout. Excellent value for a luxury haircut in a somewhat chaotic space but still nice when you’re in your chair. I paid $100 including tip for a regular haircut and blowout. 1 star off for having to wait and for the front of the salon being under construction but I’m sure I was just there on a chaotic day. Lovely people at reception too. Unfortunately I was hit with the biggest wind gust coming off the sound wen I stepped out on to first iykyk so saaaad haha. Blowout is a little flatter now but still pretty.

Sensa used to be my favorite salon pre-Covid and I was so excited to get my haircut here. I was prepared to spend $100+ and couple of hours of my day to just get simple hair cut. My hair is straight and when I expressed my desire for simple sidesweapt bangs, the hair stylist kept asking sternly if I was sure since I told her I don’t style my hair elaborately. She kept questioning me if I was sure and when I asked her for professional opinion, she suggested a longer trim and *maybe* after a couple of days if I still wanted the bangs I could come later. Who has time for this? I’m a very busy person and do not have time to go to the salon twice a week to get my hair fixed. How can getting a simple sideswept bangs be such a frustrating experience? It is a done to death hairstyle and with my straight hair i don’t know how it would hard to maintain. In the moment I got confused and gave in to her suggestion. And now I’m unhappy with the results and I wish I had stuck with my original plan and hadn’t given into her fear mongering. The entire experience was extremely frustrating as the stylist wasn’t very friendly either, I felt like crying because I was looking forward to this haircut a lot but the stylist was just not open to entertaining what I wanted. It felt like going to an overpriced barber. Even a barber wouldn’t have been afraid of cutting hair like this stylist was. I’m never coming back.

Came for the Brazilian Blowout. My hair is multitextured, it has different types in some places but is mostly 4c, and I have a lot of it. It started off great with a sit down with Michelle to go over some hair history and expectations. I've had brazilian blowouts before but she said it wasn't actually a blow out because of how they did it. Turns out she was just trying to hide the below bare minimum job she was going to do. I left those other salons happy; I left this one furious that I wasted my birthday on THIS. She washed my hair but only parts of my scalp so I'm still finding clumps of dandruff in parts of my hair and clinging to my scalp. My hair is damaged and I informed them I had a very sensitive scalp but it still turned into the most painful hair appointment I've ever had. No other salon has ever continued to try and force a brush through my hair without changing their method to cause as little pain as possible. My appointment was at 245, I got seated at 250 as I was late, and wasn't done when her 6pm appointment got there so I had to leave with unfinished hair. At that point I was in so much pain I just wanted to leave so I agreed to just go. My hair was dripping wet, wasn't straightened like it was supposed to be after, still wet after the two hour drive home, and is now back to its giant poodle form. Still paid in full over $400. Still have to re-wash and finish it myself.

I went to Sensa Salon in hopes of finding a good hairstylist. However what I got was not the case. I originally wanted to get my hair highlighted to a medium brown. But for my first visit I was told that I needed a color remover treatment. I agreed to it and sat in the chair for hours. My stylist let me leave the salon with bright orange hair which I did not realize how bad it was until I got home. I called the salon so they can fix it. They were able to see me the next day for an all over color to fix the orange color. I left the salon that day with a color that I basically came in with initially. I did like the color however it was not what I wanted. So after that appointment I had booked what I thought would be a full highlight session in a month. A month goes by and I finally thought I was going to get what I wanted but apparently my appointment was schedule for another all over color. Which didn't make sense to me since I had an all over color a month prior and I was very clear to the hairstylist what I wanted. I booked another appointment but immediately canceled it because it would mean that I would have had to visit the salon 4 times in order to get what I wanted. The lack of communication, care and understanding is so unprofessional. It was a big waste of time and money spent. Do not recommend at all.

Sensa is a beautiful salon with amazing space and lighting. Every single employee I've encountered has been absolutely lovely. But the real draw of the salon is Alexsys- she is truly my hair hero. I have been on a journey to try and grow out my grays and embrace them for the last 1.5 years. But, with my wedding coming up, I was feeling like I needed a solution plus I was losing self-confidence by the day. From the very first consultation, Alexsys was nothing but AMAZING. She truly listened to me and what I was looking for. She offered multiple options and talked me through the pro's and con's of each. One of her suggestions, a demi permanent color, was something that no other stylist I'd seen offered up. I had my appointment for the color and cut today, and just WOW! I am blown away by her expertise and work. She consulted my all the way through the process and it turned out better than I could have imagined. I've never had a stylist *listen* to me the way Alexsys does. When I grabbed a chunk of my hair and told her that area always feels heavy to me, she literally took that section from my hands and worked her magic on in. The cherry on top is that she is a ray of sunshine in human form. Run, don't walk, to get your hair done by Alexsys! (But also, please leave me space in her calendar!)

Great haircut, terrible treatment… I do not want to throw any individuals under the bus, so I will just present facts. First appointment; I arrived on-time, was informed my stylist was running behind. Service ended up being 25 min late. Second appointment; 30 min before service, received a call that my stylist was running behind, asked to come in 45 min later than scheduled appointment. I obliged, showed up at new time, service ended up being 15 min later than the new scheduled time. Third appointment; 1 hour before service, received a call that my stylist was running behind, asked to come in 2 hours later than scheduled appointment. I agreed, showed up at new time. This required re-scheduling several of my own meetings that day. Last appointment: my ferry schedule is running significantly behind. Two hours before the appointment I call and let front desk know that I will be between 5-15min late to my 12:15 slot, most likely. I get off the ferry and am speed walking to the salon. When I am one block away, at 12:26, front desk calls and says that I my appointment is cancelled. Bottom line is although the haircut is great, your time and schedule will be consistently disrespected and reciprocal consideration will be ignored.

I have been getting my hair cut and colored at Sensa since 2015, and it is hands down the best salon I have ever been to. I see the wonderful Alicia for regular balayage/foil highlights and color to cover up my grays, and I am always completely thrilled (!!!) with my results when I walk out. Most importantly, the entire staff is uniformly excellent. I am always inspired by the variety of different fun cuts and colors I see when I visit - everyone looks fabulous. Sensa staff is also very focused on continuing education (they are always using the latest products and techniques), so I’ve never felt like my look or service has been stale (despite being a creature of habit Alicia knows just how to mix things up enough to keep it fun and on trend). The salon itself is very clean and well kept, and everyone who works there is extremely professional and courteous. Their products are great, scheduling is easy (though they are so good they book far in advance!), and I always look forward to my appointments. All in all - I love this place, and I’ve never been happier. Get your hair done here!

Unfortunately I don't think I will be back. The stylists have been fine, but the overall vibe is unorganized, and just not really worth the prices, and hassle of going downtown. I got a full hair color and the stylist never told me that it would cost nearly $350 after a haircut and the basic one shade all over coloring. Why didn't she cut my hair first so less dye would have to be used? Why wasn't I told it would cost the price of two colorings? The last time I went I got, again, a fine stylist and cut, but she was clearly stressed out about some scheduling conflicts later in the day. Nearly $100 for a trim and it doesn't really look like my hair was cut. So I will likely need to find a new salon in the next couple months and pay for a whole new haircut. Disappointed, but time to move one. None of the stylists have ever been very enthusiastic or had ideas to share for how to cut my hair either. After Courtney left, it just hasn't been the same. Not for these prices.

Attentive, knowledgeable, humorous, kind, curly/kinky hair expert, and down to earth all in one stylist? Yes! I found "my stylist" in Taylor. I've been a Sensa Salon client for over 18 months, and my first stylist left the salon after my second visit leaving me to have to vet another stylist. I like the salon vibe as it is open, chic, friendly, and comfortable. For a curly girl (3c-4b), finding a stylist in an in the Seattle area is a challenge. Fortunately, the salon recommended Taylor and it's been a wonderful relationship ever since. From our first meeting she was kind, courteous, without being overbearing or a "know-it-all". She listened to what I wanted, what I feared (most curly-haired girls have horror stories sadly), and gave reassuring and knowledgeable answers. She can deva/curly cut, color/highlight, well for my hair type. Taylor is my second stylist at the salon, and all the stylists at Sensa I've interacted with have been courteous and professional.

I’ve been coming to Sensa for the last year and a half and it is by far the best salon I’ve been to. Everyone is talented and I’m always been pleased with the results. I’ve seen six different stylists due to my crazy schedule and every single one of them has done a great job! Everyone I’ve seen really listens to what it is I want and makes sure we are on the same page. This really shows in the end results. My hair has never been healthier, longer, or looked better than it does now. Excellent results aside, Sensa also has a great atmosphere. It’s welcoming, comfortable, and everyone is genuine. I know that doesn’t determine how your hair looks (don’t worry it will look phenomenal), but it definitely makes a difference when you’re there all day for an appointment. I enjoy seeing the Sensa fam. It makes my long appointments fly by and just adds to the already great experience. I highly recommend Sensa Salon to anyone wanting to look fly as hell.

Update! I have been seeing Alicia loyally since my last review, two years ago. Her talent with color is the best I've found in Seattle, and honestly, I'm really picky. Every time, whether she smudges me to make sure my grow out doesn't show, or whether she gives me a refresh of my "natural blonde," ;) she leaves me feeling beautiful. I feel 100% cared for by Alicia. She has a joyous and inclusive outlook on life that is reflected in the team she builds around her and in my experience of her. ********* From 2021 - Alicia did more than make me feel beautiful. I left the salon feeling like my true self. My husband tells me every day now that I’m beautiful. I love being able to let his compliments in. Alicia is observant and thoughtful and incredibly talented. She gathers other gifted artists at Sensa so that every guest’s outside beauty matches their inside beauty when they leave. I love Sensa Salon!

I can't say enough great things about Sensa and Alicia! Do yourself a favor, and go there for all things hair. I have a lot of hair, that is coarse/thick - and Alicia knows exactly what to do to give volume and texture. In addition to cuts, Alicia and the team do seriously excellent work on coloring. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking for a hair cut or color. She always nails it, every single time. She is super professional, and even though she wants to know exactly how you want your hair (and can do it), she also explores options with you, if you are indecisive or don't know what you want (like me). At this point, I'd let Alicia do anything she wanted with my hair! I had never colored my hair before, and I let her take the reigns on a balayage in Fall 2020 and I am 100000% satisfied. Can't say enough nice things about her and her work/team. Bravo, Sensa!

I started seeing Kelly in 2018 and she is the best stylist I have ever seen! My hair is healthier - and grows faster - because of her cuts and recommendations. As someone whose hair grows *very* slowly, I really appreciate how Kelly only trims what is absolutely necessary to take off. Kelly is an incredibly talented and smart stylist. She’s realistic about what can/cannot be accomplished in her chair, and gives her honest feedback. Because of this, I trust her wholeheartedly with every recommendation that she gives me. Kelly is also a really great human. She’s down-to-earth, hilarious, warm, and practical. Time in her chair is just fun! I recently had extensions installed with Kelly and OMG, I’m obsessed. I wouldn’t have trusted anyone to do this for me. Thank you Kelly and Sensa!!!

  • Liz Spencer

I have challenging hair. It is curly and thick, and as I’m getting older now it’s thick in weird places and less curly in other places and I have had WAY too many triangle, square or frizzy cuts in my life. I was desperate. Then I met Kelly at Sensa. This lady is a hair genius, and also hilarious and fun and did I mention a hair genius? I came in for my first visit four years ago, armed with pictures and ideas and she sat and chatted with me for a while. And I’ve never looked back. I’ve never had so many compliments on my hair in my life! Even during COVID with 8 months of grow out, people literally stopped me on the street to compliment my hair. The salon is beautiful, warm and friendly. But Kelly is the superstar that keeps me coming back.

  • Regina McCoy

Alexys is the hair stylist version of Midas, everything she touches turns to gold. Her approach was not only collaborative, but functional. Every step of the way, Alexys ensured that my haircut fit into my life, and not one that I would have to change my routine around. I have searched high and low for a hair salon in the Seattle Metropolitan area, and I feel so happy to have stumbled upon not only Sensa, but to have my hair in Alexys’s hands! As someone with psoriasis, I have always felt a sense of shame when in the salon chair. Alexys is the first stylist that made me feel safe, and offered several solutions to my lifelong battle with my hair texture. I will return until the grave. At my funeral, I pray that Alexys will be styling me!

  • Zach Carlile

I can't say enough about Sensa. I've been getting my hair cut or cleaned up every two weeks for at least the last five years and there's two things that stand out. First, it's operations as a business is amazing. The front desk staff's service, communication and hospitality is second to none, especially when considering its consistency. From a business standpoint, it's extraordinary. Next is the quality of the their stylists. Ryan is amazing but when she's unavailable, there's always a qualified stylist to see me and I've never run across an issue in the numerous times I've visited. If you're looking for a men's cut, or even color, I high recommend Sensa. You will be more than happy with the choice.

  • Madison Eastman

I would definitely recommend getting your haircut by Kelly! She is amazing at cutting hair and also so funny. She gave me an awesome devacut, so if you have curly hair, you should definitely get it cut by her!!! She took her time washing my hair and explained all of the products she was using and how she was using them so I could do it at home. I'm new to wearing my hair curly and kelly made me feel confident in my curly hair and taught me how to style! The salon was also super nice and clean inside and everyone was really nice. There's a lot of free drink options, really kind and genuine front desk workers, and all of the stylists said hello! Sensa is great and I will definitely return.

  • Alyssa

I recently had hair extensions put in from Kelly, and WOW. I mean, from the consultation to the end result, I've been amazed during it all. During my consultation, there was absolutely no pressure to proceed, and she was very transparent about pricing. Of course I felt comfortable and wanted to move forward with getting them put in ASAP. I'm SO happy I decided on extensions. You can tell Kelly truly cares about every single aspect of the process, and her skill is off the charts. For anyone who is considering it - I'd 10/10 recommend it. It's amazing how much of a change it feels like. Everyone else at the salon has been so kind as well. Highly, highly recommend! (+ thanks, Kelly!)

When I first moved to Seattle I tried half a dozen salons trying to find the right stylist. Then I found Kelly at Sensa and my search was over! Sensa is a beautiful salon. The front desk staff are so friendly and accommodating. I have been going to Kelly for three years and she does an incredible job. She listens to me when I explain what I want and I always leave Sensa with beautiful hair and renewed confidence that comes with freshly done hair. Kelley and her assistant Sophia are super talented professionals but also sweet and funny people. I always look forward to catching up with them at my appointments. I cannot recommend Kelly, Sophia, and Sensa enough!

  • Sierra Pitt

Let me start off by saying I love my hair!! Sophia and her mentor Kelly did a wonderful job. They really took their time figuring out what direction I wanted to go with with my hair and took the time to fully explain the process. I really appreciated this because I wanted to go pretty light and have very dark brown hair. They explained that they would do this gradually so as not to damage my hair which I appreciated as I’ve had my hair badly damaged in the past by other hair dressers. They’ve made the process really delightful and I’ve finally been able to get to where I want with my hair!! I can honestly say this is my favorite cut and color I’ve had yet :)

I came to Seattle about 6 months ago & I had been growing out my hair for a while due to a lot of Damage from dying my own hair at home. Of course, I had the urge of New City, New Home, New Look, & I started a long search of finding a stylist and I came across Sophia on Instagram. At first, I was a little hesitant to actually go through with it because I had damaged my own hair so badly, but Sophia reassured me that slowly we can achieve the look I wanted without damaging my hair & she really did get me there. I am so grateful to her & this great Salon & I definitely recommend anyone that wants to achieve healthy + gorgeous hair to come here!

  • Hallie Pratt

As someone with curly hair, I’ve struggled with finding someone who I trust to cut my hair for my whole life. I’ve walked out of salons more times than I can count with wet, unstyled hair…or resorting to having my stylist straighten it to avoid having to style it when I get home. And then I found Michelle at Sensa, and my experience with her was amazing! She gave me a beautiful cut that made my curls bounce, and she took the time to teach me how to care for my curls and recreate the magic once I got home. I’ve recommended her to multiple friends with curly hair and they’ve had the same great experience! Can’t wait for my next visit!

  • PG

I visited Sena Salon for my brazilian blowout treatment in Oct’22 and I was very disappointed with their service. I had read so many good reviews about Dana which is why I specifically went for her. I waited 2 months for the appointment but when I actually went for the treatment, Dana did not do it, and instead made her assistant do the entire thing. The results were subpar with no noticeable improvement to my hair. I am very displeased that the salon made me wait for the appointment and even then the stylist didn’t have time for it. Overall it was a complete time and money sink for me. Wasted $350 dollars with zero results.

  • Ilmihana Krsin

I'm so grateful to have found Alexsys and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a highly skilled stylist who just has a natural intuition for what best suits her clients. Alexsys is not only a very amazing kind human but she takes her time to really listen and repeat what she's heard me say so my expectations are clearly addressed and met. She has helped me achieve my dream hair and the best part is that it's so effortless to maintain because it is in a healthy state. I come to my appointments totally relaxed because I truly trust Alexsys and she delivers every single time.

  • Patricia Castellon

I can’t recommend this place enough, in particular Alex. I recently started going here and I’m so happy with the results. I’ve never dyed my hair before but really wanted to try out a purple balayage. Alex was amazing in explaining the entire process and making sure that he did exactly what I was looking for. He went out of his way and took his time in doing my hair. I love the results and couldn’t be happier that I found Alex. In the 4 years I’ve lived in Seattle, I hadn’t found a salon that I liked enough to keep going to. This is now my go-to salon and hairstylist !

  • Stephanie Morrison

As someone with A LOT of curly hair, I found my haven in sensa salon. My stylist is Lea and she’s wonderful. I had almost given up on getting a full head of highlights, due to past stylists refusing/quitting half way due to the amount of hair I have. But Lea did a beautiful full set of highlights and did it in record time! I’ve spend 5+ hours in chairs to only get a 1/2 head and walk out with wet hair. Lea did curly cut, a full head highlights and a blow out in less than 3 hours. Very happy with results and definitely recommend seeing Lea, especially for curly hair!

  • Michelle Roman

Alexsys! Alexsys! Alexsys!! Shes amazing! This was my second time at this salon and first time with Alexsys and I couldn’t have been more impressed, she’s super personable and makes you feel very comfortable, she listened to what I wanted, we talked about expectations, and she pulled another stylist to consult and confirm her thoughts which made me feel sooo reassured. the cut and color turned out to be perfect, I enjoyed my time with her so much and if I wasn’t moving out of the area she would be my go to hairdresser!! I can’t recommend her enough!!!!

  • Holland Smith

I went in for a curly hair cut (deva cut) for the first time at Sensa Salon. I was pretty excited as it was my first one and I’ve heard such good things about it from fellow curly hair gals. Sophia and Kelly went above and beyond! They really took their time examining my curl patterns to determine the correct place to cut to enhance its texture. I loved their attentiveness and confidence with what they do. They truly made my natural hair shine! Would definitely recommend if you have never done a curly hair cut before. It makes the biggest difference

  • Tova Soroka

When I moved to the Seattle area I knew that I needed to find a great curly hair stylist. I stumbled upon Sensa and have been a loyal customer for the last 4 years. Alicia is an incredible stylist always wiling to try out something fun, or give me her honest opinion of what style I should cut my hair in. Finding a great curly hair cut is not easy (you curly girls know what i'm talking about). I have had a few stylist here cut my hair over the years and I have never been disappointed. Great cuts, great people, great place!

  • Deepali Jain

I have curly hair and it was after a very long time that I was getting a haircut, I was nervous as not many of my haircuts turned out good because it’s not easy to judge the styling in curly hair but sensa salon provided me with an amazing experience. I highly and wholeheartedly recommend to get the curly haircut by Michelle. She is such a loving person and knows so much about curly hair. She was amicable and considerate the whole time. I am very happy with my haircut. Michelle you are amazing, keep up the good work :)

  • Aliya Pitt

Sophia is the only hair stylist that has ever given me the hair I truly wanted. Many have told me before that my hair is too dark to blonde the way I want it to be but she proved every single one of them wrong! She gives me the most beautiful smooth and perfectly blended lived in color job and her cuts are amazing. I cannot stress enough that if you want an attentive hair stylist who will have you leaving her chair feeling like a super model you must ask for Sophia! Thank you for making my hair dreams come true ❤️

Such an incredible experience getting a balayage with Alicia the owner and haircut with Sarah. This salon is high quality and after trusting my hair with the same person for 4 years in Boston and recently moving to Seattle it’s safe to say I’ve found a permanent hair salon with Sensa. Alicia runs an amazing group of people and she takes great care with new clients. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for the best balayage! Covid wise I felt super secure. Can’t wait to get a refresh in 6 months!

I travel to Seattle often and I always make it a point to have my appointment at Sensa. They are consistently welcoming, friendly and very professional. I trust them so much with my hair ( I am a natural redhead which is not the easiest) and I appreciate hearing their recommendations. I have never had any issues and I have had various color sessions, highlights , Brazilian blow outs, and used numerous products from the salon. I highly recommend Sensa to anyone looking for a great, fresh amazing look!

I got the best color and cut I've ever had from Alicia, the salon owner! She was so good about asking lots of questions before she got started, and explaining how she was going to go about everything--all to make sure it matched up to what I was thinking. I felt super comfortable when she got started and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. She also gave me some product recommendations that immediately made a difference in the quality of my hair--I had no idea how dry it was! Thanks, Alicia!!

  • Madeline Helland

Had a great curly cut experience with Julianne! She was attentive in assessing my hair and was generous in giving input and tips for products and taking care of my hair. Looking forward to going back for a cut and color sometime. The salon overall is a beautiful space! Really clean and they seem to take care of their clients! Offered multiple refreshments and great travel magazines for while your hair dries/sets (: Parking is a bit tricky, but maybe call ahead to see what they recommend doing.

Friendly place but, Bangs cut way too short, so no way to fix. Told hairdresser I curl them. She didn’t take that into consideration at all so when curled now they reach half my forehead. Stylist didn’t try styling them at all to make it look good or have a clue on how to curl bangs which was confusing…she was nice overall…realized she was trying to sell me product right off the bat, didn’t even ask if I needed it or had that issue… Quite disappointing result

A wonderful hair cut. As a woman with curly hair, I’ve never enjoyed getting my haircut. And honestly don’t remember a time I’ve walked out of a hair salon satisfied. Well, Michelle at Sensa did it. I have never seen my hair this curly or felt as confident and happy as I did walking out of my haircut with Michelle. She recommended products and wasn’t afraid to give me lots of layers and body. I can’t recommend a curly cut as Sensa more. It’s worth the cost.

Great experience with Landon and a super cute salon. Got a cut and color with Landon while visiting from our of town and it was perfect. It’s the best cut I’ve had in a long time and the color (a beautiful indigo) turned out better than I could ever imagine. He was patient, very detail oriented and easy to talk to. Would 100% recommend anyone see Landon for their styling needs. Next time I might try extension from him, too. Thank you, Landon.

I love Sensa! The staff is excellent, professional. I always feel very welcome when I arrive and I love that they've got champagne for me to make the end of my day so much more relaxed. I've seen Kelly many times for color and for cut and she is fantastic. Very skilled at what she does. And she's very friendly too. A friend of mine goes to Sophia for color, cut, extensions and she says she'll never go to anyone else. Highly recommend!!!

Had a great experience with Ana! She really helped give my hair some life before a big trip to London. I have notoriously thick hair and it’s also wavy/curly, and Ana is the first person I’ve been to ever who actually understood my hair. Not only did she know how to cut and style it without diminishing my waves, but she also talked me through everything she was doing and answered all of my MANY questions! Will definitely be going back!

I have been coming to Sensa Salon since 2016 and the team provides a great client experience from start to finish! I've been working with Heidi Molina for the last few years and cannot recommend her highly enough! Heidi is great at listening, anticipating client needs, and delivering the most amazing results. She's seen me through short hair, long hair, brown hair, blonde hair, and everything in between and I trust her completely.

  • Nicole Daniels

Thank you thank you to Kelly and the Sensa team for being so accommodating and professional. I took a 3-year break from dying my hair and knew I wanted to return to Kelly to brighten my hair. I’m fairly picky with my hair and am so pleased with the final results. Everyone is thoughtful and responsive. I highly recommend Sensa if you are looking for skilled stylists you can trust with your hair!

  • Lindsay Morris

Sensa salon is an amazing relaxing retreat. Alexsys made me feel like a queen every time I left her chair! She takes the time to listen to what you want and she DELIVERS! My hair has never looked healthier and she has transformed it to the most beautiful tones I’ve ever had. Not to mention the most amazing head massages and much needed girl talk. Go see this kind and super talented lady!

I had the best experience working with Dana and Francisco to blend my gray and update my overall hair style. They did an incredible job. I love the result and have had so many compliments. I also appreciated all of Dana’s enthusiasm for refreshing my look and her generosity with helping me while mentoring Francisco. Everyone at the salon was warm, welcoming and professional.

Never been the one to write reviews but the one to always have an opinion. If you want to get your hair done, feel catered to, and walk out feeling amazing.. then I highly advise this salon (Kelly) specifically. She is amazing, a boss, and a pro at what she does. Most don’t understand curly hair and Kelly gets it. So thankful to have found a stylist in Seattle. ❤️

Originally came to sensa salon with very damaged hair, limp curls, and hating my color. Over several months working with the salon’s owner Alicia I am IN LOVE with my hair. It is healthy, my curls are thriving, and my color has been expertly crafted to match my coloring. Cannot recommend Alicia highly enough— she is truly one of a kind l.

I've been getting my haircut for a million years and Taylor gave me the best haircut of my life. Her wash is absolute magic. I'm not sure why she doesn't have a ton of reviews but I think it might be because everyone wants to keep her a secret. Taylor is a true cult classic. I appreciate her attention to detail and laid back attitude.

I have been going to Sophia for a little over a year now and I’m always so happy with the results! From coloring my hair back to brunette and recently cutting bangs, she can do it all. She truly cares about meeting your hair goals and is such a sweet person. My hair has never looked and felt better, cannot recommend Sophia enough! :)

Lea is amazing! She listened to what I was looking for with my haircut and it was even better than expected. I had to work during my appointment and she was understanding and patient with my laptop in the way. Efficient and high quality cut (with a great wash). Will definitely be going back to her! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sensa Salon is my favorite place to get my hair done. I’ve been seeing Heidi at Sensa since 2020 and I will never see any other hair dresser. She makes the experience so fun and I always leave happy and feeling gorgeous. This salon is top tier and the best to go to for hair in Seattle in my opinion!

  • Julia Rosenthal

Sensa Salon is my favorite salon in Seattle! They are professional, nice, great location and easy to book either online or calling. I highly recommend Alexsys Jones (although if this makes it harder for me to get an appointment then no I don’t!!) Highly recommend going to Sensa for all hair needs!
