If I could put zero stars I would. Such a terrible customer service experience at Flight Centre Indooroopilly due to Harley Wright and his arrogance. Went in to book flights to the UK and was quoted $2850. From online searches I knew this was very expensive. I asked Harley to send me the flight information that he had reserved for 24 hours...surprise surprise this email never came. The next day I found exactly the same flight on skyscanner for $2350 and direct with the airline for $2650. As I promised I would I went back to see Harley and showed him the quotes I had. He arrogantly questioned me 3 times if it was the same flight (it was). He abruptly then said they don't price match skyscanner (of which I had been told the contrary). He said their prices were the cheapest and the same as the airline so I questioned him on the price that the airline had quoted. I asked him to see what the the best he could do was...$2780...more expensive than the airline he said he could match? When I questioned this he begrudgingly said he could match that but would charge me a $50 booking fee. I asked him to clarify exactly what incentive there was to book with flight centre and not online for $500 cheaper, again with arrogance he said "because you get to deal with a human... Me!" of which I informed him we live in a digital world now and at one click of a button I could book flights. When it came to the email he "supposedly" sent he said I was wrong! And that he did send it...again...pure arrogance from Harley. This is purely a case of a flight centre employee trying to protect their commissions at the disregards to helping a customer. I was not surprised to see similar reviews regarding Harley, he really let's your branch down. Being in a customer oriented position for over 20 years I would be embarrassed to hear of this customer service being offered in any of the companies that I have worked for. Hang your head in shame Flight Centre in trying to rip people off now that the borders have opened and people are trying to reunite with family they haven't seen in year (6 years in my case). I will not expect anything to come from this due to pure arrogance of Flight Centre in general and their monopoly of the travel industry.

I would like to express my gratitude and thanks for the help Shiven Mukhi has provided over the past 24 hours. I was having issues with another Flight Centre employee with trying to book a fairly complicated trip to Germany. It involved multiple flights with multiple people and was proving difficult for the employee who picked up my initial request. Shiven stepped in after a week or so and managed to get a great solution for our family (and managed to upsell me a bit), within 24 hours. Shiven called me to find out what we were trying to achieve and what was important to us. She then assured me she will find a solution, and did so fairly promptly. Effectively Shiven turned a stressful, bad experience into and fantastic one. She is a credit to Flight Centre and I will be a repeat customer after this experience (I was not going to be after the initial experience). In short, Shiven was fantastic. She was pleasant, patient, efficient and effective. I am a very happy customer (even more so because my wife is extremely happy with the outcome).

We went to this branch at about 2.50 and a middle aged lady who seemed to be the manager shouted from her chair to have a seat!!!we found a seat and waited till at 3.35 while there was nobody in line before us,came to us and in an irrespective manner told that we'd better leave there because they would close at 5!!!! I told her she'd better have let us know this when we were there for about 45 mins and her answer was this"You can wait but we won't be able to help you"!!! What was soooo annoying for me: 1.it was her job and she could estimate it at first if they weren't able to help us and could tell us earlier. 2.She could have manner and apologize for wasting our time and not being able to help us 3.Maybe I'm wrong but is getting a ticket when there are no people waiting in line before you such a time consuming job that she predectied they wouldn't be able to do that in 2 hours?!

This travel agency has unfortunately deteriorated. I booked flights for ease. Instead the results are the worst travel experiences. I asked that seats be booked for all flights near the wing away from toilets. I bought the tickets a year in advance. This was for 20hrs of flying. I was placed near the toilet and my pre requested dietary requirements were not met. The final flight they forgot or ignored the seat request so my son and I will not travel together next to each other on a 20hr flight. This is a nightmare. I do not recommend them would never use them again and their response for a product I paid for is - tough luck. In response to the comment from flightcentre I specified that seats be booked and the desired locations. Flightcentre did not even attempt to book specific seats and made no effort to correct the errors or provide any compensation.

Had the worst customer experience. Never been treated this rude before at any shop before. Today I went to Flight Centre Indooroopilly branch in order to re-schedule my flight back from Sydney. First consultant asked if I bought my ticket in store, I said it was done online but did re-scheduling on 23rd November for a one day trip to Sydney in store. Aperantly I have to take pcr test in Sydney and that's why I went again today for cancel the return ticket and buy a another one. The other consultants (Harley) made me wait while he was on the phone and started to judge me about buying the ticket online and coming in for solving a problem/re-scheduling. I was told "you have booked online and why don't you fix it online and come here" I didn't know I wasn't allowed to ask for professional help, bought my tickets on flight centre website anyway.

I would like the opportunity to thank Harley for his assistance and guidance whilst booking my holiday to Thailand. I decided to take the plunge and book an overseas trip as the restrictions from the pandemic came to an end. It was a relief to have Harley navigate me through the exhausting process along with support during my trip. Shortly after arriving in Thailand I did contract covid, though my symptoms were minor it was a relief to know that if I did require any guidance Harley was available to help me. Once testing positive to covid I flicked Harley a quick text message to keep him in the loop, to which he replied within minutes (even though it was 7am Australian time) I greatly appreciate my experience and will be sure to book my next holiday through Harley knowing wherever I end up in the world, I will have support. I recently did a 2- month trip all over Europe and really could not have done it without Madie from Indro flight centre! Not only did she secure cheap Europe flights for me (especially in peak season), she was genuinely interested in the trip i was trying to plan and went above and beyond to help me plan where to go and what to do when i wasn't sure. Madie was so patient with me and always made an effort to look into my requests- even on her days off. She gave me traveling tips and even went out of her way to help me decide what accomodation looked safe and up to a good standard when i wasn't sure. She is so down to earth and made me feel comfortable to talk about any concerns about my trip. It was such a seamless experience and saved me so much stress on my trip !! Thank you Madie ((:

Harley! What a godsent! I don’t usually walk into a travel agent to book my travel, but I am really glad I did. He was so friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience effortless. It was my partner’s 40th birthday and I wanted to do something special. Harley suggested a trip to the Red Centre and was able to piece together an amazing holiday. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He had travelled to Uluru himself and was able to share some of his own experiences. With border closures all over Australia, I was so nervous to book anything but was provided the reassurance I needed. He carefully went through all the terms and conditions, and I felt comfortable with booking the trip. Thank you so much Harley, the trip was incredible! Couldn’t have done it without you.

Shiven Mukhi at Flight Centre Indooroopilly has to be the best travel agent ever!!! She not only found me the best flights on the dates I wanted but she also supplied me with all the necessary information around travelling overseas during Covid. When my return flights had to change to get me back directly into Brisbane she organised everything, even corresponding with me over the Christmas period and regardless of the different time zones! Extremely professional and responsive and just the loveliest person ever - thank you so very much! I will without doubt be booking all future travel through Shiven - she’s one of a kind!

Read a statement from a Flight Centre spokesmans defending the price match policy as not a rort. He stated the $49 booking fee was actually voluntary, offering further benefits. You don't have to pay. I visited the Indooroopilly store to make my booking only to be informed of the $49 fee. I presented the article stating Flight Centres price guarantee as not a rort that costs you $49 more than the opposition. The staff member agreed and then informed me it was a fee to cover his cost. He was not happy and told to go book online. Looks like Flight Centre will always be more expensive. No price match.

I’ve booked a few flights with Harley in particular, I followed him from FC Toowong and have absolutely loved his quality customer service. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to go through our bookings to ensure we understand everything that we need to and feel supported. I was stuck overseas and was able to check in with him quite late at night - what would have been a stressful situation was quite easily dealt with because he made the effort and took time out of his busy schedule to accommodate me. He goes above and beyond, we can’t wait to book our next trip with him!

We have used Samantha Swann from Flight Centre, Indooroopilly to advise on and book our last three overseas trips. She has always been incredibly helpful, going out of her way to assist. Travelling overseas while Covid was peaking was subject to many restrictions and flight changes, but Sam was able to sort these all out for us. Our latest trip has also had some complications, which Sammy has been able to quickly fix. We will continue to use Samantha for our future trips and have no hesitation in recommending her for all your travel needs.

One of their agents, Wagner Filho really went above and beyond for me and my wife as we were planning and going on our 2- moths long Honeymoon. We had a lot of last minute changes, force majeur cancellations and overall bad luck. Wagner helped us through it all, organised alternative flights, sorted out the refunds and gave us good guidance all throughout, even through the Christmas period. Couldn't be happier with the experience we had, will definitely use them again for planning long, multi-destination trips

Absolutely terrible service, Waited around for 10 minutes and none of the staff even looked up from what they were doing or smiled in our direction. As someone who works in customer service I apeciate that people are busy and cannot serve customers immediately, but I'm not going to spend thousands of dollars at a business that can't even manage a "hello" especially when all they're doing is talking amongst themselves and working on their computers. Will book my flights directly with the airline now.

Brenten is an absolute asset, I don't even live in the state however I get him to handle any of my booking enquiries, not only does he excel in the store, he contacts me outside of his shift times and after hours during travel to make sure that everything went smoothly, purely because most of my flights booked through him have layovers. If you want someone who cares about you as an individual, your travel needs and doesn't treat you as a sale or as a commission figure, please go and see Brenten!

Kaz was really great to deal with. She sat down and went through all the requirements for travelling in COVID times.. which is far more than I had initially expected. Kaz went through many options and explained the benefits of different airlines and ticket flexibility. She made it really easy to make an informed decision about travelling during these times. Genuinely terrible service. They don’t pick up their phones no matter how many times you ring. They’re rude and refuse service despite having four staff on and no customers in-store. In time they take to explain why they can’t serve you they could have booked flights. Then you see they’ve closed the store 30 mins prior to their listed opening hours…which explains why they couldn’t be bothered with service in the first place. Take your money elsewhere.

Customer service was awesome, response was swift and in a timely manner whether by phone or email. Friendliness and attention to detail was impeccable. Worst customer experience at indropilly. Was served by a guy that went by the name of Harley. He gave the worst customer experience. he was also rude, he kept on checking his watch, couldn't be bothered printing out or email my booking details or a receipt. He also tried to rush me and was in a hurry to take a phone call..... Ive been to other flight centre's and the experience was alot better than the one I got from Harley.

Have nothing but praise for the service we have received from Shiven at the Indooroopilly office. She is super efficient, knowledgeable and just great at her job. We have been trying to travel since November and she has coped with all the changes, cancellations and ups and downs with her positive attitude and brilliant . We can only highly recommend her and the fantastic service provided by Flight Center Indooroopilly.

We went to arrange flights to move overseas. Harley was amazing and spent a lot of time analysing out best route to save us money while seeing everything we wanted to see on the way. Even when we proposed two different options he checked them both out for us and discussed the best options we had for either option. And he was invested and excited in our plans. By far the worst customer I’ve ever encountered! I think it’s fair to say my friend and I experienced customer abuse. The woman who served us made disgusted facial expressions towards us and made us feel like we were insane and an inconvenience for asking travel related questions in a travel centre (even though we are paying customers). I find it hard to comprehend why we were treated this way.

Karen (Kaz) was amazing helping me in quite a stressful situation. I was quite anxious (having 2 teens pushing me to book their flights) for their first solo flights from Sydney to Brisbane. Kaz was amazing! She took care of our flight changes without any hesitation. We were camping in Murray Upper and reception was irritatingly non existent at times.
