We have always booked through Flight Centre for all of our holidays using their Capalaba branch. Now that has closed, we booked this time through Wynnum and what a costly mistake that was. We received a quote for flights to Roma and were told to pay by 5pm. At 4.55pm, the agent txted through the details with two payment options (bpay and credit card). We paid via Bpay. We received a call the following day to advise we now had to pay an additional 51% on the original quote as flights had gone up. The agent advised that we should not have paid via bpay. As Flight Centre had our credit card to process our points, I was gobsmacked that they did not process the payment on credit card - if they did not want us to use BPay this should not have been provided that as a payment option. I attempted to contact the booking agent to discuss further but received a blunt and frankly, flippant response. I have been trying to contact Flight Centre head office since the 22 February to discuss the matter. 8 weeks on, still no reply despite being told we'd hear back from someone after 10 days. I've now lodged a formal complaint with the ACCC and will never, ever use Flight Centre again. I booked a flight to England so I had a stop over in Dubai. I told them I want as much as a direct flight as possible with shortest stop over. They promised me everything I asked for. When I got to Dubai and went to the gate, they said my booking was bumbed to the next flight which was 26hrs later. This was due to Flight Centre over booking the flight. Emerites were wonderful and put me up in a hotel for the night and included taxi to and from airport. It was not Emirates duty for this but they saw how Flight Centre treated me. FC said "bad luck" not our problem. The Emirates staff felt sorry for me so they helped. I missed my engagement in the UK because of this. When I returned I went back to Flight Centre to have it out with them, but the woman who took the booking was fired and so they took no further responsibility. Very poor after sales support.

For many years my wife and I have used the good services of Flight Centre Wynnum Plaza. During that time we have found the service provided to be excellent and first class and our many holidays organised by Flight Centre to be to our complete satisfaction. Sadly, our yearly cruise to New Zealand has been disrupted by ill health which has lingered for the past three weeks. My Doctor has advised that because of my present medical condition it would not be possible for us to complete this voyage. It is our desire to complete many more future adventures with Flight Centre when I return to good health.

Big thumbs up to Karen for helping us. Unfortunately we landed in Auckland on the 27th January this year right in the middle of the floods. We lost out on our flights to Kerikeri and had to stay an extra two nights at Novotel and then through cyclone Gabrielle lost one night at skycity hotel. When we got back She helped us get our money back through our travel insurance quickly and efficiently. Five stars just aren't enough for her. Always a pleasure dealing with her and will always recommend her or any of the Staff at wynnum flight centre.

I took an Uber to come to a Flight Center Office because I could not get through by phone. Guess what, if booked online with Flight Centre the FC offices cannot serve you. Come on ! What's the point going through Flight Centre ? Service setup a full zero.

Stephanie was able to help us out in an emergency after our flight was cancelled (booked elsewhere) and we needed to book a different flight as soon as possible. Had the confirmation shortly after speaking to her and was able to resolve everything!

Useless! Good luck getting a response to your emails and forget trying to call them on the phone. Not re-assuring with regards to trying to contact them from overseas if there are problems We will not use them again!!!
