I went into this store last week to buy a pair of shoes for my partner. I knew exactly what style of shoes and size I wanted to buy but I received no offers of help or even a polite acknowledgement of my presence. This lack of attention to me as a customer was peculiar because the middle-aged staff member (a man in his late forties or early fifties) saw me come in. However, instead of greeting me and asking whether he could do anything to help me he simply ignored me and stood behind the counter looking out onto the street. To make matters worse, his answers to my questions about the shoes and the sale they had on were brief and reflected a profound disinterest in helping me. To be truthful, I was tempted to walk out and go to buy the shoes from the Chadstone store. However, I did not have the time to do that so I bought the shoes and left vowing never to return. As a child I remember my grandmother saying "it takes less effort to be nice than to be rude". And, "our character is revealed through the way we treat our fellow human beings, be it in business or otherwise". Sadly, the gentleman that served me does not appear to have been the beneficiary of such an upbringing. In short, do NOT go to this store if you expect to get help or be treated with good manners.

Unlike everyone else I have no complaints about the service, my complaint is about the actual shoes. I bought them at the end of August for $400, which is think is a decent sum, its now only 7 months later and the soles have completely gone, worn through and cracked open, I only wear them for work in a hospital! Cheap and shoddy workmanship. The leather has aged very poorly too. Would never buy from them again

Asked for advice on buying a pair of leather soled shoes. They sold me a pair of shoes with plastic soles which looked like a leather sole. I challenged the assistant before buying if they were actually leather. He assured me they were. I was in a rush. Wore them for an hour and it was soon obvious that they were plastic soles. They would not accept them back. Sneaky. Don't trust them.

Wow. want brillant service. I cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful staff here. very very friendly and helpful. The young man that served me went above and beyond with sorting out my purchases. oh and the product is brillant as well. i ended up purchasing a ccouple of pairs of shoes. great quality as well. very happy with this retail business. 5 star all the way.

Saw a pair of loafers with price tag of 119.5 at the bottom. Upon paying, the staff just tore off the tag and asked for 199.5. I mean, I didn't put the price tag. Why wouldn't the staff honour the price? It was simply a waste time when I tried them on and even took out my card to pay. If your staff made a mistake, don't vent the anger on customers.

I'd bought a pair of Florsheim shoes online and of course got the size wrong. So I went to the Bourke Street shop to sort things out. The service was excellent and I came away a happy customer. On previous occasions I'd found the staff (diiferent people) to be rather haughty. However, the current staff are friendly, good communicators, and helpful.

Yes, these guys aren't happy and bubbly like a cafe. But they have deep knowledge of the products they sell and will get it right - whether that's recommending a different size because of the nature of the leathers, or fitting a shoe tree to your size. That's why I keep going back.

Prices are pretty high, but they did exchange for me just outside the 30 day return period. Store manager was incredibly rude, though. Seriously, guys, get your act together. Otherwise, I’ll be looking for a new work shoe brand after more than a decade.

I went to this store and was holding and seeing how soft the shoe was. The obnoxious guy at counter yelled at me " hey you, stop bending the shoe". I told him the shoe will bend when someone tries it on. I then walked out and will never come back here.

Brought a pair of $200 shoes, 6 months later I went back with my receipt, as they had unusual wearing out... staff just said go to a shoe repair place to repair the worn out part of the inside of my shoe. No care that I paid $200 in their shop

One of their regular customer, they always have great deals on work shoes. I normally deal with Lyon (excuse me I spelled your name wrong). He is always so helpful and try to give me the best deal all the time, outstanding customer service :)
