This park is worth a visit. If you can find parking or access to it with the crazy traffic they have now surrounded it with. I went at night it was a lot easier but seemed sketchy here with the surrounding environment/neighborhood. If you don’t feel like venturing out of the city this is a perfect place to see some folk art of the south. But you can easily visit these art environments a couple hours north or south of Atlanta, as I would suggest doing, no restrooms or sitting but well light thankfully.

I'm told this is a really cool place in the warmer months when there are lots of kids skateboarding here. Wandered down here due to seeing some cool photos... was pretty underwhelmed. The art was neat, but I could've settled for just looking at photos vs. visiting. Might be more enjoyable with kiddos. Didn't feel like a particularly safe area, especially given the location and with the amount of traffic exiting/ entering the interstate just below the park.

I must say that I was a bit underwhelmed when we drove by here. Perhaps I’m missing something. Google maps listed this place as a tourist attraction but it seems more like an art decorated street corner (or several corners at this intersection). Maybe I was just expecting something more or perhaps an entire city block filled with local art. Then again, there might have been more to see that we simply missed. Not sure.

I was super disappointed to see tons of groups of homeless people at the Folk Art Park. :( I wasn’t able to get out of my car and explore because they set up camp there, and I didn’t feel safe. It isn’t worth your time to visit here.

Consistently trashed by the homeless population here. Has resulted in none of the drainage working as it gets clogged with the detritus, and so is flooded on rainy days, can't even appreciate it.

Cool art on display. A lot of homeless living here though and a lot of trash on the ground. This is at a very busy intersection and not particularly close to anything.

Photography enthusiasts alike me will love this view of the highway at night. Plus the cage prevents you from dropping your phone/camera onto the freeway.

Not really much to see. There are two other separate areas to the park but they aren't interesting and full of homeless people. Don't waste your time.

Husband and me would sometimes walk to Publix on Piedmont. Then we'd stop by Folk Art Park sit on the benches have a bite of lunch to eat and drink.

Very nice art here but be careful of an ever increasing homeless population sleeping behind this beautiful art. Stay safe and be aware.

Don't take the time to just go and see. Enough to drive. There are a lot of homeless people nearby.
