After a pretty terrible experience with footlocker head office & footlocker Geelong after spending $1100, the manager at northland Footlocker turned it all around. We ordered 8 pairs of sneakers, they came in different deliveries — the order from the Geelong store only had 1 shoe. Spent days and days back and forth with customer service online who kept telling me they were waiting on the store to get back to them. A fortnight later I had finally had enough of waiting around and being told the same thing with each customer representative telling me the same thing “we’re still waiting for Geelong to get back to us” I was pretty frustrated that no one from head office could get in contact with a store - let alone a store manager. It’s not good enough & something needs to be done about that. We’d sworn to never shop at footlocker again. Even after spending thousands and thousands of dollars with them after years of buying sneakers & clothing. We decided we’d had enough of waiting around so we visited the nearest footlocker to us which was northland / preston. We were served by a lovely lady (sorry we don’t have a name) , who then told us to speak with the manager when he was back from break so we did and we’re so glad that we did because we met the store manager (Jose?)I believe. He was so incredibly helpful & quick with his thinking and resolution. Honestly completely changed our experience around and that same day we bought another pair of shoes as a Christmas gift for a friend even though we were confident we’d never shop there again until we met with the manager of the preston store. Thanks for actually helping us & prioritising us & understanding the frustration. Overall head office really needs to work on their processes and procedures - management was meant to call me back the same day I escalated the situation and I didn’t actually hear from them until 5 days later which in my honest opinion just isn’t good enough. I completely understand that Decemeber is a busy month for all retail vendors but this was an order placed back in the first week of November & I really don’t think “waiting for the store to get back to us” is fair for the customer who’s now out of pocket & without a usable product. Maybe Geelong made the mistake but footlocker as an overall is responsible. Anyway thank you again Jose - we appreciate your hard work.

Very disappointed with the attitude of staff in the store. Don’t deserve a single star. I went in to return a pair of tracksuits pants as XXL was too big and wanted to get a L size instead. The track pants were reduced from $104 to $91 and the staff didn’t want to refund me the difference for the reduced price when I got the large size. Aaron was handling the register and was instructed by this other guy to override the $91 with $104. When I questioned this guy who instructed Aaron said “you didn’t ask for a refund you asked for an exchange”.. I was extremely disappointed at this point and asked for his name but he ignored me and walked off. This is a big franchise and these employees need to understands it’s good customer service that pays the bills and keeps the business afloat. I will avoid footlocker northlands are a result of this poor customer Service and perhaps consider footlocker as a last resort in general moving forward. I was in store Friday 14th July evening after 7:30pm

If you have a problem and you need assistance from head office, forget it! They are incompetent and do nothing to help you or resolve your issue. I ordered a pair of shoes online and they lost them. It took them two weeks to tell me that they were lost and they could not re-ship them. They told me to go into a store get a refund and re-purchase them in store. How absurd! And you can’t use gift cards online. How outdated is that?!? I would’ve thought a company like Footlocker would have the technology to accept a gift card online. I will never purchase an item from Footlocker again.

I had a fantastic experience with George F, one of the store's staff members. He was incredibly helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately, the other two staff members I encountered fell short of my expectations. They seemed more interested in selling to other customers and lacked the patience to assist me. I left a five star review for George due to his amazing service. He went above and beyond to assist me and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. His exceptional customer service truly stood out compared to the other staff members I encountered in the store.I hope the store manager recognise him for his amazing service.

Extremely poor customer service. The staff is very rude and don’t know how to speak to customers. They have racist attitude, very disappointed with the way they spoke aggressively to me. I felt humiliated. I don’t recommend visiting this store.
