I've heard great things and also read reviews so I was excited to try it out after getting a gift card. Loved the experience from the welcome at reception and the welcome drink (tea, coffee, Champagne or wine) to the hair wash and massage (could have set by that sink all day if I could) to the haircut with one of their senior stylists - I got Amy. I loved how Amy went step by step to ensure I am ok with the changes she was making and asked me often about how I'm feeling and how it's all looking. The haircut I got was totally different to what I've had for years and I appreciated that she subconsciously knew this and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the progress and final look. Love my haircut, it's added so much movement to my hair that whether I blowdry or dry naturally, it looks like I've done something to it. It's also low maintenance, she thinned the bottom out and it's so effortless to wash shampoo and dry. Will be back, thanks for the lovely experience at your salon!

My mom had an appointment on a Saturday morning that she drove all the way from Wagga Wagga to get to (5 hour drive), and asked for white/platinum foils but barely got half her head done (and she’s got very short hair). The results are a sort of hairband look, with no foils on a good section of the back. And the highlights are very dark even after asking for white highlights (most of it as you can see is regrowth anyway). She paid $362.09 for this (appointment only took 1.5 hours with a quick cut). This is a ridiculous amount charged when you look at the little product that was used and how badly it was done which does not seem to be in line with the Franck Provost standards. I wasn’t there to be able to speak up for her but I feel as though my mother, as a senior, has been taken advantage of.

I can't rave enough about David! He's AMAZING! I've been going to him for over a year, and he's hands down the best hair stylist ever! He's all about those little details. He pays such close attention to every strand of hair, making sure it's perfect. He takes the time to explain everything in a way that makes sense, and he's always honest with his answers. My hair has never looked better! David is an absolute wizard when it comes to colours and cuts. I've lost count of how many compliments I've gotten on my hair since he started working his magic on my hair! On top of all that, he genuinely cares about the health of my hair. He recommends the best products and treatments to keep it in fantastic shape. He's the real deal, and I can't even put into words how much I recommend David.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Frank Provost to have my hair done for a Miss Universe event. I was attended to by their hairdresser, Leo. It was an exceptional experience, as Leo was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and attentive. He listened carefully to my hair concerns and preferences, and then proceeded to give me a fantastic haircut that exceeded my expectations. The overall customer service experience was also fantastic, with the staff making sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout the appointment. I would highly recommend Leo to anyone looking for a top-notch hairdressing experience at Frank Provost.

I went to the Franck Provost Sydney CBD salon after a very disappointing haircut from another salon and over a year of battling dry hair and a sensitive scalp. I've tried a few other salons and found that none of their recommendations had helped. From the beginning I was made to feel really welcomed and right at home. Alize took the time out to thoroughly assess the condition of my hair and talk me through how to get it back to looking healthy and address my sensitive scalp. She recommended a fantastic treatment and did an amazing job cutting my hair into a style that I can easily work with, and that really suits me. My hair looks and feels so much better.

Edit: updating my 4 years old review. Long time customer, I've never been loyal to a salon before stepping through the doors of Franck Provost CBD. Over 6 years, Alizé, Aimee and Melissa have looked after my hair and done their magic to get me from brunette to blonde (and reverse) a few times seamlessly.The quality remains constant and there's no surprise (or at least only good ones). Service is always impeccable and exceeding my expectations. *** I have been a customer for over 2 years and I have always been satisfied with the results. The staff is highly qualified and friendly. I always end up leaving with a magnificent hair color and beautiful hair.

Could not recommend the CBD location enough. I have been a regular customer since August last year and have had everything from balayage, colour,, toner, just my roots coloured, keratin treatments and cuts. My hair was so dry, fuzzy and curly and it is looking so so much better! My friends of 20 years have all commented on how good it looks, both colour, cut and just general healthy shine. Yes they are not the cheapest but you really get what you pay for and I will be back again and again. The wine doesn't hurt either : ) Shout out to David, thank you for fixing my mess on numerous occasions and recently Josh helped me, he is also great!

This was my first visit to Franck Provost and I was very impressed! The salon was clean and modern looking upon entry and I was promptly greeted & shown to my seat. Merely a moment later I was taken to the basin, where I was given a fantastic shampoo & head massage by Amy! She put a treatment in that left my hair feeling delightfully soft! Afterwards I was taken back to my seat where my stylist, George, introduced himself a moment later. I was given champagne while George did a great blow-dry in a timely manner too. Overall I loved the experience and will definitely be back - have already booked in my next appointment with George!!

Loved the experience of hari cut overall! All the staff members were very professional and friendly. My appointment was with the master stylish "Amy" and it would be understatement if I said I was satisfied. She was extremely professional, easy to approach to. She explained what sort of styling would good with my features, and of course what is in trend. Also, explained how I can style my hair at home to look at it's best. I love such interactive sessions. The place was extremely neat, and no harsh chemical smells were present, which was a big plus for me. No doubt they are number one. Would I go back there again, absolutely!

The whole experience was awful. I was running 5 minutes late and had the courtesy to call.. only to be scolded by a very unfriendly person. I discussed in details how my greys hair is very resistant and needed extra attention. No saturation, no foil or heat applied, nothing. After a rough shampoo (who uses their nails on the scalp after colour?) The results was a disaster, with my grey still showing through the colour applied on the root (see photos taken on the day). I raised it and was told that’s the best they can do, that’d be $250, thanks! I used to go the Bondi salon and never experience such a dreadful result.

I highly commend recommend MELISSA at FP CBD. I have been coming to Melissa for three years . I trust her implicitly. Finding a hairdresser that listens to you is not easy . I love how she manages my hair in cutting styling, advice on colour, advice on products and treatments. Melissa is extremely professional and highly skilled as a hairdresser. Maya did a balayage haircut for me. She did an AMAZING job. It was my first time seeing Maya and I was nervous because I have never been fully satisfied from hairdressers who have cut my hair in the past. She did exactly what I asked for and what I loved is that she cut my fringe just the way I wanted it. I’m someone with naturally wavy hair and have always had difficulty finding a hairdresser who can cut my side fringe the way I like it and not make my hair look like a pyramid. Also the colour in my hair looks amazing !!Thank you Maya will definitely be coming back to you in future !!

I went to see Maya for my hair transformation and couldn't be happier with the result. I have super fine short flat hair and I really needed some volume and movement. She recommended me a style that is so versatile, which is great because I like to change up things every day and the color is gorgeous (her coloring technique is first class). I am always a bit skeptical about my hair the next day (when you don't have skilled hairdresser to blow dry your hair) but it took me less than 2 minutes to style my hair and it looks so playful with lots of volume. I would highly recommend her!

Melissa, Melissa, Melissa ! I don’t know how to say or compliment her enough because Mel is simply just the best when it comes to hair. The way she listens to you, explain to you, give you the best possible advice to your hair, recommend hair care products, everything are absolutely wonderful. Mel cares about your hair as much as you do. I came to see Mel to get my hair color done many time but each time always giving Mel a beautiful smile at the end of the service because it just turn out so nice and exactly what I wanted. I came in and had an appointment with David. Let me say, he is so incredibly respectful and lovely. I was given a voucher that I chose to use here and I am so glad I did. I don't usually get haircuts in salons or designate the time to go and get a proper treatment, but this experience made me want to come back. The haircut looks great, the discussion around what would be good for my hair and the offer of a 25 voucher for it being my first time made the whole experience just great. Can't recommend them enough and will definitely be back. Thanks David!

Edit: August 2022 Saw Amy again to take my dark Asian brunette balayage to a deep red balayage. Turned out amazing!! Could not recommend more! I’ve been seeing Amy for the past few years now and I’m always satisfied with the results! She is very professional and experienced - she knows what I’m looking for to the point where I can work on my phone the entire session and have no worries about how my hair will turn out. Service is always impeccable and very high quality. Always looking forward to my next appointment!

Just coming out of salon and writing this review. I had best experience with David. I’m so happy that I decided to come here with my sister. Staff is so nice, they made sure that were comfortable. Hygiene maintained. My sister and I get the best haircut of our life. Definitely coming back There was a misunderstanding with the location of our appointment. Hands down the best experience I have ever had. The moment I walked in, Monica made me feel comfortable and at home. Her advice and colour recommendation were spot on and she immediately alleviated any stresses I had. Have been to the CBD salon yesterday for hair colouring (I am using the chocolate blush toning which is really nice blend of colours) as well as haircut.
