If you or a loved ones have been treated unjustly, or harmed, by the frankston justice system (including but not limited to magistrates, registrars, admin staff, prosecutors, police, lawyers, legal aid, dept housing, families and fairness, etc) Email Tony at IBAC info @ ibac. vic. gov. au to have your concerns accumulated and perhaps represented and acted upon. (All ibac has to do, is follow the money, seemingly the toughest job in the world). Mr Stuart Pope, regional manager, must be very happy with the team, they seem to get the job done. *** If you agree with this post, all I ask is the you ask 3 other people to look at the review, in return I can offer you my advisory perspective on your case free *** Keep in mind participants are pitted against each other, everyone is a looser once they walk thru the door, except for those that generate an income regardless of a good outcome.
Bias, incompetent scum. Police admit they have the magistrates in their pocket. It isnt a court, none of the Victorian courts are. A defining characteristic of a court in the integrated court system of Australia is institutional independence and the appearance of it. Victorian courts have no institutional independence and you can see this admitted to by the ex-Chief Justice of the Supreme Court if you look up Court Services Bill 2015 in the legislative council in Hansard. Paying staff under a different ABN hasnt "fixed" the institutional independence of the courts whatsoever. Same staff, same processes, nothing changes.
Ur there practically all day. In my experience, i would be one of the last few, to be heard before it's closing time. I noticed pretty much from the beginning, i am guilty, there was no such thing as innocent until proven guilty. They had made up their minds already. I'm actually due to go to court tomorrow, i have done everything that was required of me, i just want this whole nightmare over and done with. I just want my licence back. I've done everything. Unfortunately my gut instinct is telling me different. My gut instinct is normally right, I'd love to be wrong. Wishful thinking.
Extremely overbooked and lengthy wait times, often meaning several adjournments for the simplest of matters. Staff are wonderful - from security, counter, Legal Aid, and court assistant volunteers, as are the majority of the magistrates. Having been to many courts in Victoria, Frankston surprisingly isn't too negative an experience (depending what you're there for too of course!)
Get a system that works as opposed to people crammed into a waiting room for an entire day, the rotation and case hearing have no structure around timing whatsoever and the front desk staffs approach to the public they know thery will be dealing with has alot to be answered for, rude, blunt, helpless, pushy and demanding. Pathetic, not professional by any means
Just got off a call with the receptionist requiring to know when contested hearing dates are and stated why I wanted to know. So rude. I felt like she had lied to over the phone about when they were because she didn’t sound like what she wanted to help at all. Had the phone end twice while I was on hold. Disgusting.
A joke of a system where you are guilty until proven innocent. People crammed into a sardine box waiting for their turn to be extorted for hours on end. The court system is big business in this country and that's all it is, a business for profits at the expense of the people with the least to give.
These guys wouldn't recognise truths, facts and evidence if it slapped them in the face. Presumably they are too busy fondling young staffers in the back of taxis's and uber's to care. On the balance of probabilities they are likely to
The volunteer support staff here are absolutely amazing and full of empathy. More than can be said of the Counter staff. Totally agree with the other reviews, you are most definately Guilty, regardless of the fact that actions taken
Was assaulted with a weapon in an act of domestic violence, the aggressor pleaded guilty yet only had to pay a small donation. No community service, no counselling just a measly $250. You have failed, this person will reoffend
Treated like scum, there to hand in paper work and almost stripped search at entrance because my car keys are suspicious? Made to wait 4 hours. Make the rules don't have to follow them i guess
Had to ring and email the court several times before I got an answer to a very simple question. There seems to be a lack of proper training within the local court system
I love this court. If your ever getting sued this is the court id suggest for you... Aircon...Water... Toilets. Free coffe n biscuits...A1 service.
Not very straightforward service didn’t exactly explained where should I pay the fine but some of the staff are kinda nice.
A court...better than Dandenong that it has much better parking and also across from Bayside shopping centre.
Absolutely terrible, cop’s literally lying in court, aggressive staff, shameless.
