The jars were beautiful, however one of them arrived damaged/chipped at the base. I was looking for the broken piece in the delivery box but I could not recover it suggesting it was damaged prior to packing. I was offered a replacement or a refund.. I accepted the refund however I was then asked to send the damaged goods back.. I don’t know about other people but that’s just terrible practice and a waste of my time. This company lacks responsibility compounded with poor customer service. And after all that I was only offered a 25% discount because I have no time to repackage and return the jar. I would never have purchased a broken product in store nor would I have paid 75% of the cost for it. I’ll Probably hide it in a corner somewhere - what a waste of money And I still haven’t received the 25% refund. Small or large defect it’s still not what I wanted to buy. I wanted an intact product that I paid for, no real justification required. You sell a product for a price make sure you deliver the goods full stop. It really reflects in your store rating. And the fact that a discount can be offered without physically viewing the product (without your supplier seeing it) also makes no sense to accompany your justification. Finally, as I said I have no time to run around and drop off your damaged goods it’s an additional inconvenience that customers shouldn’t have to do. It may be worth putting that information at check out so people know if they are buying a product that’s potentially damaged they will need to go through that process to get a refund or another product. If I had k own that I would never have purchased.
Very disappointed with our first purchase. We bought the Adirondack outdoor setting, however the quality of the furniture was very poor. The material used was split and the painting cracked. We were required to drill suitably sized holes so that we could assemble the chairs without further damaging or splitting the chair parts as the original holes were punched with a nail and were small and shallow. I appreciate that the setting is sold as a second and that the price is very affordable BUT my setting was more a reject than a second. Furthermore an email informing the business of our disappointment has been totally ignored. Having had this experience I would be reluctant to recommend this site to anyone in the event that their experience was similar to ours.
Ordered a picnic table online as a Xmas gift, website stated item was in stock and orders go out the day after received. After 1 week we had heard nothing so called, was told it actually wasn't in stock and there had been a website error regarding availability but would definitely be shipped the following week. 1 week later we still had heard nothing so called again, item still wasn't in stock. Despite taking our payment up front at no time were we contacted by French Knot to inform of any delay or errors on the website regarding stock control. Order cancelled as pre- Xmas delivery couldn't be guaranteed (despite ordering an "in stock" item in November).
Dishonest business. My order was cancelled due to a price mistake from their end and no compromise was offered just a simple refund. Sad to recieve such treatment from a business who I thought I'll be purchasing from regularly. To add to this, at checkout I was told dispatch will be made in February but they claimed that there was a refund because they don't have items in stock which obviously they wouldn't nor do they have other buffet sideboards in stock but clearly this is so I don't relieve any item ordered at the listed price.
Absolutely terrible customer service. 7 months for my item to arrive, and they kept blaming covid. They are the only business on the planet whose stock was 7 months late due to “Covid”. Some of the staff are obnoxiously rude and patronising. They advertise $ 99 shipping and then when you place an order, they double it. Terrible communication and I will never buy from these scammers again. Please don’t reply to my review as I am not at all interested in any more excuses from any of you !
I purchased the Hampton 4 Person Picnic Basket in Navy & White. I've wanted a picnic basket for years, I've looked at many online and in shops but I've always found the quality questionable. This one 'looked' good online, "but is it?", I questioned. I can say it is! It is as beautiful as pictured in the online shop, and the quality is superb, I'm really thrilled. If it help anyone, larger plates would be required for BBQ's etc., being a 'picnic' basket, the plates are picnic sized.
Super happy with the way they handle their enquiries. I ordered a picnic basket on Ebay (14 days ago) which never came as the facture never sent it due to being "out of stock" and did not informed me. I had to request a refund from Ebay and immediately contacted FRENCH KNOT to help out with my order. Within few hours my order was dispatched and at my front door within 48h. THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!
trying to buy jewellery box as a 21st present and the one i want says 'coming soon'. How long do i have to wait? it's been at least a month and within the last week they've advertise new jewellery box which is available... when i called the store to ask about when the jewellery box was available the lady on the other end was not helpful and seemed clueless
Bought a vase from French Knot and was worried as it was a wedding anniversary present. I called to check if all was OK and a woman said she'd walk the vase over to despatch herself and made sure it arrived. The vase arrived in mint condition 24 hours later. I live four hours south of Sydney. Excellent customer service.
Excellent excellent excellent. The product I’m am so in love with. I live in Geelong vic. The delivery and package of my product has been really good. I only had 1 problem out of about 20 deliveries and it was sort out straight away. Very very happy customer and would like to thank them for such a beautiful product
I was really disappointed that Australia Post managed to lose the first doormat I ordered, but the nice people at French Knot promptly dispatched me a replacement, and here it is. Nice quality and looks quite nice outside our front door. Thanks!
Ordered Adirondack chairs, after 3 weeks they are falling apart, the timber is cheap and of poor quality. The paint is wearing and it gets on clothing, it is chalky to touch, bad finish and very poor quality! I have requested a full refund.
I have purchased from French Knot quite a few times and in every case have found the product to be exactly as I ordered and of a good quality. I have always been extremely happy.. Post was much quicker than I anticipated.
Had no dramas ordering online, 3 day turn around time. Staff super helpful! I got the metal jug and a round rattan tray - both are stunning. Everyone that has come over has commented on the jug! Great products

The wrong item was sent. Over the phone rep was extremely rude. The box said fragile but virtually the box was destroyed. Worst experience dealing with a store. Highly recommended avoiding this store.
