Guys don't be fooled by positive reviews by people, I am a google local guide level 7 so its an honest and unbiased review. Poor customer service, worst experience of my life, Better to go authorized service center, they will charge more but you will have peace of mind. Mr. Ashok does not know how to handle customer, my car was with him for over a month just for a minor electrical issue along with servicing. 7th July to 7th August, he wasn't able to fix the electrical issue, ( instead he made it worse, by total destroying the ECM of my CAR by opening it and breaking the seal without informing me )if anything it got worse and now my car is in worse condition than when it reached his workshop. Till the time I moved out my vehicle from his garage he said that he had got the ECU tested from his friend who confirmed it is working fine and he has also tested it to be working in another car. But later when I moved the vehicle to authorised showroom they said it is not working at all. So he lied to me for almost 2 weeks that he got the ECU tested and there is no need to get it repaired. So he kept wasting my precious time all this while without actually trying anything to resolve my issues. 1 month is a lot of time, even if he had spent 1 hour time in a week my issue would have easily been fixed. But from my experience I have been extremely disappointed and frustrated by this garage and it's owner . They do not know how to handle electrical issues. purely a mechanical workshop. Worst part is during 1 month he called me just once to give me quotation about the charges. Apart from that he never bothered to call me even once, even though I kept requesting that he should call me whenever he identifies any issue with the car. But it seems he does not believe in informing the customer, this guy never called me. It seems he is very over confident about his workshop, that is why he doesnt care about customer satisfaction anymore. **The worst part is he would never call you to take your permission before doing anything in your car, he opened the the ECM of my car broke the seal without even informing me**, this has damaged my ECM completely and cost me so much money to buy a new ECM. This is just like stealing. He keeps lying about everything, even if he has not checked anything in the car he will say, I have checked everything and then a few days later will say I did not check it. He kept promising me that he will give my vehicle in 1 week but that never happened. He doesn't have the time to attend to customer, their concerns and doesn't give a damn about customer service. But after keeping my car in his workshop I feel that it was the worst place my car can ever have been. Purely mental torture and waste of my time. This place is only good for outdated car servicing. I would strictly advise all the people who love their car to refrain from giving your vehicle to this garage, You Car will not be cared for and you will be left waiting for so long and ultimately frustrated by the careless owners of this garage, who just wants to make money and keep you in the dark all the time. You keep you car in his workshop and he doesn't even bother to call you once to inform whats going on with your car and on the top of that is always experimenting with your car. Worst part is whenever I asked Mr ashok why he doesnt call me to inform about status of my car he had no answer. While moving my car out from his garage when I told him that I have never seen such poort customer service he started laughing (which is pretty bad). His favorite dialogue -" I will fix your car in two days" which he never did. He thought I did not have any other option to get the car repaired. For a change I thought about trying a local garage and it was a horrific experience. I don't mind paying for premium service so after giving him 31 days to repair my car (given him time to repair ecu/get used ecu) I moved car to showroom and got it fixed in 1 day. I am sure that in reponse to this he will blame me. So beware guys. I heard few other customers who visited garage complain.

Ashok being owner can leave everything to garage mechanics. However, I have seen him put extra effort for every car which comes for service and guide his staff. He is very knowledgeable and understands the issues. Doesn't fool you by extra charges and wherever possible tries to see if the existing issues in car are repairable rather than part replacement. Those who give negative review should take their car to other service center atleast once. I had done my car servicing once at pranav motors (pathetic) where they damaged my door handle during washing (imagine the so called service engineer saying door handle broke due to scratch), broke the door lock after that followed by autolock function not working properly. (4 visit and spending 2-3 h in each visit they could not identify or even acknowledge that there is issue) Mr Ashok rectified the same without any fuss. There was also oil leakage and suspension making sound. It was also services properly. Now those quin quin noise is gone lot of noise. Area of improvement: 1. Seen some of the negative review which i also agree with is customer connect post taking the job. Those who are giving their car for the first time would be very apprehensive about whether with is being done properly. A few second call that the job is under progress would be great. Alternatively sharing the photos over what's app can also help in reducing the apprehensions. 2. A common indian statement... "will reach in 10 minutes". Even after half an hour if you call. The same answer "on the way will reach in 10 min". Pl give realistic time e.g 30-40 min instead of 10min. A person can reach from one place to another place in 10 min only if he is in transit and distance is < 5 km. Over all comment: I am fully satisfied with his service. Santro owner.

Looking at the reviews of GM motors i took My Chevrolet Optra Petrol Car with a AC Problem, Throttle body assembly, General Service, Lower Arms issue & Smoke. But after visiting GM Motors i am completely satisfied and made my mind to give the car only to Mr. Ashok in future for any kind of repairs or Service. Mr. Ashok(Owner of GM Motors) is a well knowledge person for all the Car brands. He has not only solved my problem but gave the multiple options in solving it with a affordable price. This Service center has a special Car Scanner which will read the complete problems of your car. When i got the scanning done at different places they charged bomb. This scanner will also tell you the health of each parts in the car. I am completely satisfied and truly recommend to visit this place rather than going with brand showroom and burn your pocket. I am sure you will completely satisfied with the service while you drive back to home.

I have had 2 experiences with GM motors aka Ashok. First one was when Skoda service centre was getting ready to fleece me by asking me to needlessly change the ignition lighters when it was a simple spark plug issue. Skoda was going to charge me 12k plus however Ashok solved the issue with the change of spark plugs for INR 850. It's a year now and there is no issue with the ignition lighters. The more recent experience has been with my yearly car service of my Skoda Rapid. All work and issues that needed attention was addressed and the car runs like a charm. I must highlight that Ashok really knows his stuff about cars. Very happy and will return. If you don't want to burn a hole in your pocket in service center's then GM motors is a great alternative.

Gm motors... What to say, i have lancer petrol 2002 model, i am driving it in bangalore from last 3 years. I consulted lot of workshop around bangalore, no one didnt really fix issues for ever and send back me with satisfaction. I really apreciate Ashok nair who is the owner of this garrage. He is so friendly, open, organized and well mannered human. The way he speak shows same in his work too. He explains even a small 50rs issue properly and make us understand, he is that polite.. i got my 16 years lancer with showroom condition. After service driving was awesome. Thanks to him and his mechanic’s for making me to use this beast again. I advice to be here for any car and any issues without any doubt my friends.

They don't know how to find problem in Tata Nano car. First time i went with nano car. Told the complaints to Ashok . He took one week to deliver the car. And i paid 4000 rs . And the complaints nothing changed. The very next day i went back again , then he told the petrol pumb is not working it will cost 5000 . Ok.. and car got ready.. everything goes well. Within 10 kms car got breakdown. Then i took a tow truck and went to Tata service centre itself. They told it's the problem with petrol pumb itseems.. i paid 9000 to mr ashok and he didn't even changed any parts. I told him the situation and he didn't even agree it's his problem. Yeah let him eat that money .

Today I was going by Bettadasa Pura Road and was looking for a garage to give my Scarpio for general Service. Happen to drop in at this garage and made a general equerry of charges. Ashok took a short test drive and explained what all the checks he carries out in general service and how the charges are going to be. He will provide a quotation after inspection. Services we don't want or and to differ to a later date can be customized and the charges will be for the services availed. Looks very transparent in service. I am impressed. I am yet to give my car for service. Will post after availing service.

I have given my Honda City for service today, I really appreciate the response and commitment from Ashok (Owner). There are couple of parts needs to be replaced, the car also needs complete interior cleaning. Ashok told he will get the things done at reasonable price. He will check the car thoroughly and will provide the quotation. I got his reference from one of my friends. Hopefully all the issues with car will be fixed and I will get my car in good condition. Will post my final feedback once the car is serviced.

One of my very close friend referred me to Ashok’s workshop and they repaired my left side back door of XUV. I was very impressed with the quality of work. I strongly recommend all SUVs users especially to get things done from his workshop. I had given my Honda City 2008 model for door repair and denting. Prior to coming to GM Motors, I had gone to the showroom. Showroom people said they have to replace the door and it will take close to 2 weeks for getting the parts and all the work done. Ofcourse, they mentioned a hefty bill too. Ashok completed the work in 2 days and that too for a fraction of the cost. And he did a very good job. I am very impressed with the work that is done.

Gave my Tata safari for repair first time out of company authorized service station in 12 years of ownership after getting good reviews from friends. Now to start off with, I was not unhappy with Tata service center, but Ashok definitely has done a better job than the authorized service center at far lesser cost. Thanks to Ashok for his skills and dedication. I think I would like to maintain my car now with him till I am in Bangalore.

I have given my Santro for service. First Mr. Ashok has explained about the services(General and full) and given the quotation. All my requirements are been taken care and the car returned on time. The cost of service was very less and the quality of the service was very good. One more advantage was Mr. Ashok was present in the workshop late evening (8:00 pm) to deliver my car as i was coming late from the office. Well appreciated.

I visited GM motors on Sep 30 which was Dusshera with a rear window power windows problem in my Tata manza. The power window had stopped working. Ashok immediately identified the problem, got the spare part by evening and got the part replaced. He is a thorough professional and does his work very methodically. His charges are also reasonable. Thanks Ashok and I have now found a good service centre for my car within E city.

I got my Chevrolet cruze serviced here. I am very satisfied with the service and behaviour of the staff. Mr.Ashok took complete care and clearly explained the changes needed. He also honestly informed that one of the break pad had to be replaced and he couldnt get the original product for replacement. He billed me less than what was expected for the service. I am posting this after a year of service done here. I have done 2 service in a year. When I brought my Chevy spark here, it had lot of problem. Mr.Ashok here is an very geniune & Knowledgeable person. He found all the problem with Zero cost. He fixed my problem at very very low cost. He will not change any unnecessary parts just for the sake of decorative look.

I had a wonderful experience with GM motors, most trust worthy people i have come across in vehicle service. I have been to multiple places but i am not satisfied with any. The one person who have given the right advice and made sure the vehicle is perfect is Mr Ashok. You literally feel the difference in your vehicle before and after servicing from GM motors.

I came to know about GM Motors through internet. Read the reviews and approached Mr. Ashok. I serviced my Alto K10. It was a very nice experience. The person came to my apartment, took my car, serviced it and returned it back to me at my apartment. He explained the items that required servicing before carrying out. He completed the job in time as well.

It was awesome and seem less experience with ASHOK. He clearly explained the every problem and made sure to minimise the change of spares. If no need of change he will clearly explain we can do it later which was not in the case of service centres. I had back my beat i will come back after some time to give my service feedback
