1) it is named after Mahathma Gandhi. Gandhi bhavan, is the head quarters of Congress party in the state 2) it has four arms 3) it connects Nampally and old city 4) if u want to get down at All India Exhibition ( Numaish), get down here. Do not get down at nampally metro to go to exhibition (Numaish) 5) if any body want to go to GPO, get down here and there is a small lane opposite to this metro station 6) besides this station, there is himalaya book shop 7) this metro is nearer to mojamjahi market 8) in nampally exhibition grounds, the melas conducted year long 9) in rush times, the metro open extra counters 10) it has escalator and lift facilities 11) morning and evening has more footfalls
Gandhi bhavan , where gandhi forced to nehru to vanish the congress after having independence but their self profit nehru continued congress as a party and from there to now they looting india in the name of service...They ruled almost 70 year and when they started ruling india under nehru that time indian rupee value is 1 against 3 dollars now after 70 years 1 dollar equals to 70 rupees, so, everyone can have clear image that what they done for Bharath...And gandhi bhavan it's just like a coward covers him with sadhu posture.
The staff are rude. I board metro daily from hitech to gandhi bhavan. From there I book a cab to home. Until the cab arrives I wait for the cab inside the metro station as the outside crowd is not a safe place and is not secured. The previous staff didn't tell me anything. After the staff changed a security lady came up to me and said I cannot wait, she told me to leave and also argued with me when I said I'm going to leave when the cab arrives.
I reached Nagole station by 5.55am, the trains schedule time is 6am. I hurried and thank God I already purchased a smart card 2 days ago, so there was no need to wait in the queue for a ticket. I rushed to the platform and got into the train. It was a dream come true. Hyderabadis have been waiting for almost ten years for this day. I was very happy and I could also see happiness in everyone's face. The train wasn't much crowded since in morning
Gandhi Bhavan is the headquarters of the Indian National Congress Party in Telangana. It is situated near Exhibition Grounds, Nampally. The place is very commonly used as a landmark in Hyderabad. Mr. Khan Bahadur Abdul Karim Babukhan, father of Mr. Bashiruddin Babukhan & Narala Saikiran Mudiraj , had constructed Gandhi Bhavan some 50 years ago and donated to congress party.
Quite a large Metro station, catering specially to the Exhibition Ground where the annual Industrial Exhibition NUMAISH is held. It is quite a busy station as Abids (shopping) and M J Market, also famous for shopping, particularly hookahs & Ittar perfumes... The frequency of the trains is quite good, and the station premises are quite neat and clean...
Metro is fantastic and easy for the people to commute. The place itself not much for easy changing between the roads due to busy roads. Its on main road which is very very busy as its a commercial place for different business people. More space would have been created a metro station to become accessible.
This metro station is just beside the entry gate of NUMAISH, the famous yearly exhibition in Nampally which lasts for 45 days starting from January 1st to February 15th of every year... I recommend to go via Metro to Gandhi Bhavan metro to go to NUMAISH as there is no parking place in the peak time
This is the metro station you have to get down to reach the Numaish / Exhibition gate no.3, which is very near. The station had placed signages to indicate the way to the exhibition. Had no trouble transporting in the metro, some stuff bought at the exhibition. Tip: load your trolley or pram.
This metro station is actually little away from Gandhi Bhavan. The right location can be called as Exhibition Grounds, Mozamjahi Market, or Gagan Bihar any other building nearby. But the station is very spacious and well built. The approach places and staircases needs to be maintained well..
Best and convenient way to travel around Hyderabad. Fares might be a little high than bus but it's quick and avoids traffic of the city plus you get to see amazing bird eye view of Hyderabad. The station is like every other station, well maintained and clean. Easy to navigate and big
Friendly staff, easy to get a ticket but fares are high in my opinion, almost every metro after noon or evening is full and it's hard to catch a seat, I used metro 2 times by now (Gandhi bhawan to malakpet, second time panjagutta to malakpet) and I had to stand both the times.
This station is neat and well maintained. It has a lift and washrooms as well for passengers. The crowd is very less here when compared to other stations. The staff here is friendly and helpful. It has a nice scenic view of the clock tower of mozamjahi market at morning times.
I love this place because it is near by my clg and from koti as it is one ways buses are not available so metro helps more than 3000 students and government employees whose Office located in ghandi bhavan road will have this transport facilities. Tqu metro .
Long back i think its 2k10 i don't remember the year but it's our 1st commonwealth games were conducted by government of India .....and again now i travelled now it's an amazing experience..... maintenance was good security was very cooperative...
Hyderabad metro is being a successful service provider gave me quality of local travel service, it was so clean and neat, free drinking water was good, there was good enough security for any one to feel safe while waiting for Metro.
It is easy accessible station to Begum Bazar for the people who are commuting from kukatpally or erragadda side. It is near to Care Hospital, Ram Ki Bandi and Hotel Shadab. Wak able distance to karachi bakery, Moazzam Jahi Market
Hassle free travel. Management should consider increasing the number of coaches as the passengers have increased a lot and most of the time we end up traveling only by standing without a seat. Safe for ladies and senior people.
Super place I love metro rides when I was in Hyderabad I use always metro .. I have card too ..... Ya it is good to take mestro card and use it . It is very usefulll........ Don't forget to use metroo ..........
Standard format. Nothing unique. Nearby places are Moazam Jahi Market, Exhibition Grounds, APHB offices, Handloom House, etc. January - February is busy time for this station due to Numaish (Exhibition).
Nice connectivity.. You will reach near CARE hospital nampally exactly, when u get down from this metro station. Nearest famous places for this station are Karachi bakery, GPO, Abids, Care hospital.
Nearest Metro station to Nampally exhibition grounds, Numaish festival which starts from January 1st to Feb 15 th of every year... The metro station facilitates a lot especially in that season...
Good means of transportation, could use more space inside the cart to accommodate people in seats.. seats are very limited and people are many. Vehicle parking is unorganized and sucks.
Have no idea of Gandhi Bhavan METRO Station, just watching the Metro while we were in FAMOUS ICECREAM PLACE . fantastic scenario , nd the weather was superb ,we enjoyed alot in famous .
There is no TVM, toilets or shops on the east side. There is however free water. Be careful about taking into account the platform you are entering into. Its confusing for new users.
Gandhi Bhawan metro is in centre of Old Hyderabad. It's near to all famous markets like koti sultanpur, Madina Market and charminar. very convenient for travel in old city
Nice place. I must say, "Metro stations are negative of railway stations in tidyness". ....Haven't seen a metro station with trash or human/animal excreta on the tracks.
I would rate it 10/10. Everything is systematic and as it's beside MGBS it's very helpful. Clean and perfectly managed and it also provides wheelchair accessibility.
No words to say about Metro Station as it is always good and peaceful. The staff are also so kind that they help each and every passenger in assisting them ..!!
By the way nice services the only thing I didn't like about it India time lights in metro stations are not glowing so it is very uncomfortable to see
Every metro station is really good. This is particularly useful when there is heave traffic jam at Koti. In that case, I used it once and it is good.
State excise department, consumer court, ACB office and other government offices and some political party offices is very near to this metro station.
Located between Osmania medical college&Nampally station. People prefer this spot to accrss Numaish exhibition grounds and other government offices.
Can't believe we have such good quality Public transport in the old city. Unfortunately, there's no proper last mile connectivity which kinda sux
If we want to go to Begum Bazar, we can drop here and can book an auto Personal/sharing which are easily available over there to BagumBazar.
Easy go market like begum bazar and towards afazalgunj Here you can get vogo rent bike if need to anywhere like market towards afazalgunj
One of the Hyderabad metro stations. Centrally located, convenient for government and private employees working in surrounding complexes
Best metro station in red line with hardly any passenger getting down here but heavy rush during January because of Numaish every year
Gandhi Bhavan Metro Station is very Near to Khan Lateef Khan Estate Building and it is opposite to L.B Stadium, Near about Nampally.
Very clean place.security people here are really helpful in directing us for going to nearby places like nampally railway station.
Perfectly designed for the convenience of passengers. Though the name is Gandhi Bhavan Station it's a bit away to Gandhi Bhavan.
Metro services are most convenient, cheap and time saving. So I prefer metro services and recommend my friends too. thank you.
The station was clean and hygiene. It's a small station anyways. There is no stalls or shops. The staff are really friendly
It's a great facility by the government but it's the public's responsibility to keep it clean and worth for use to others.
The stairs to the station weren't properly cleaned. Though the staffs working at the station were nice to the passengers.
Get down for IGNOU RC HYDERABAD.IGNOU RC office changed from Kavuri Hills to Gandhi Bhavan.Land mark Himalya Book Stores.
Very Easy convenience everyone to connect all routes in Hyd... highly Appreciated to support metro railway line... …
A boon to the citizens of Hyderabad - the Metro. Last mile connectivity is only the hitch. Parking is simply absent.
Very neat and clean. Staff was also very good and helpful. Hope to see the same kind of attitude of staff in future.
I visited last month this metro station. It was high security providing one of the best metro stations in Hyderabad.
Comfortable fastest and safe way to travel in Hyderabad... station are avg compare to Delhi metro n Bangalore metro
It can be maintained in better way. Also the surrounding were left undeveloped like walking area towards station.
It is easy accessible station to Begum Bazar for the people who are commuting from kukatpally or erragadda side
Clean, organized and clearly marked. Easy and convenient to use. Strongly recommend metro. It's really nice :)
Metro... Railway is helping a lot... V can reach our destiny in a less time but Lil bit expensive for students
Cons- Under developed metro station. Very few travellers from this station. Pro- Very near to iskcon Temple.
Well maintained and newly opened Metro train station which connects you to the difference parts of the city!
I get here to go to numaish. It was really crowded due to the exhibition. It was so hard to get in and out.
As good as other metro stations. Restrooms are good. Nearest station to reach Numaish / Exhibition grounds
Metro station is good... But when u enter the train males ll be siited at ladies section... I hate that..
Hyderabad's L&T metro train is the best way to commute in the city. It's very convenient & has less.
No concern about passengers worst service speacilly the man who is at ticket counter is very rude .
Nice place . Good part is that stop is inside the bus stand which is very convenient for commuters
One of the metro station @hyderabad,. Gandhi metro station. Spacious place for Max crowd also..
Not god because the journey is so uncomfortable no more space site in metro so I was not happy
All of know how easy this transportation is best is to give 5 stars very reliable traffic free
Good way of transport for people who stay near metro station and travel hitech on daoly basis
Nice connecting station to MJ market area. Washroom floor management can be improved though.
Good time can be save but middle class people can't use this because ride be more expensive.
Nice metro station among the surroundings like Nampally. Staff here are generous and polite.
