We wanted to step out into the country and explore some places off the beaten track a little, get our dollars back into helping small/local businesses… we randomly found this town and how could we not visit after seeing the name? But where to stay? Apparently the picture theatre has cabins out back….ok we’ll do that!!!!! We were so pleasantly surprised as there wasn’t a lot of information online. Super cute and spacious accommodation. Friendly and attentive hosts with great attention to detail and comfort. Loved our stay here. Check out The Garfield hotel for an evening meal and Lil miss Hangry for brunch!

What a fabulous gem this Theatre is & thanks to Fred & Sue for turning this fab Theatre into a great music entertainment venue. Love it & not too big. They provide supper in the ticket price too which you have at Interval - just amazing & they have some great entertainers & Bands in. Highly recommend it - great atmosphere. Do yourself a favour & book one of their evenings - you won't be disappointed!!

Had an amazing night,the hosts Fred and Susan were amazing what a lovely Theatre it is, worth the drive from Melbourne, they provided some sandwiches ,sausage rolls and sweets at intervals as well as coffee and tea all part of your ticket I will definitely come back ,the hospitality is A+ they even have music before the main show as well as interval and after the show truly a great night

Performing at this venue was extraordinary. Fred looks after the bands as much as his patrons. Food &hospitality is sensational. The entire vibe is amazing, with not only the beautifully restored theatre/stage but also the lovely outdoor beer garden & verandah with lots of nooks & crannies & outdoor entertainment as well. We'll be coming back to stay & watch a show. Just love it!

A terrific place to enjoy country style hospitality not too far away from the city of Melbourne. We saw a concert by The Beatlez and they were great. Cosy and a friendly place to enjoy live music. Congrats to the proprietors for their vision and effort to make it work. Also has a comfy BnB out the back.

Great live music shows/tributes held here once a month. Only $50. Comfortable seating. Wonderful atmosphere. Great supper included. Plus tea coffee and soft drink. Alcoholic drinks are available for purchase. Well worth it. Will be going again!

Always have some much fun at the performances here from such talented and diverse bands and performers from tributes to Robbie Williams, Cat Stevens, Van Morrison and many more. In a beautiful old theatre.

Had another great night at Garfield Theatre.. there are always great Tribute bands playing there, a fabulous Palea for dinner and drinks to buy before the band plays or at intermission ❣️ …

Garfield Picture Theatre is a testament to the time, effort, attention to detail and LOVE that Fred and Susie have poured into the building. Garfield is soooo lucky to have these guys around!

Had a private function here. Wonderful building, fantastic staff, delicious catering, we had a great time. Highly recommend this venue.

Fantastic new show venue in a lovely little town. They put on a lot of good quality tribute show, even Izzy Dye is often there.

First time and won't be the last saw "Fleetwood Pac" beautifully restored theatre and paella and supper were delicious.

Fred and Sue are amazing hosts. Had a fabulous night at the Fleetwood Mac tribute show. Great venue lovingly restored.

Stayed in a cabin. It wasn't ultra modern but the cleanest place Iv'e ever stayed and Sue is the best
