This location seems to fall short on the list of places locally. The staff seem to be in an upsetting mood frequently and the bathrooms are not clean. There's usually hair in the woman's bathroom sink and the floors are semi clean. The bathrooms lack soap and paper towels for proper sanitation. I'm notnsure how the employees are using these facilities and they are not clean. There's also food and drinks being served here and the facilities aren't properly clean. Toilet paper holders broken, expired snacks and several other health code violations. The ground around needs to be pressure washed frequently and trash should not overflow. The employees seem to only be there temporarily because no one smiles but they all gossip. They don't like giving receipts and when they do, they are checking info. Receipts paper is often missing from outside pumps and spit and cigarette butts everywhere. I lose my appetite often visiting here and do frequent reviews through my blog.

I love gate station I enjoy going in there everything's always so clean and nice and proper good employees they're always cleaning something when I go in there they got accessible accessible for wheelchairs and bathrooms and all that and you know they even ask if you need any help that's kind of nice to be acknowledged when you walk into it convenience store and they're now I'll call it up and what's going on behind the counter they want to know what's going on in front of the counter with the people so that makes it so awesome you know you work with people and people work with you and you create a great business so yes continue going to gate gas stations and enjoy yourself and know that you're getting going to get a great deal in gas you going to get some delicious food if you're hungry and did some beverages to quench your thirst check it out thank you so much you'll love it

Cashiers and managers were not very professional. Daytime workers. Night workers are great, very nice and polite. But daytime workers are rude. A cashier opened up my donut bag and was touching my food when there is a virus going around, when I politely asked her not to do that( sanitary reasons), the manager followed me and my fiance outside and he tried to fight him( manager did), months later same manager decided he wanted us trespassed for no reason at all. And a call to corporate did nothing at all. Horrible store during the day!!! Or should I say horrible people, terrible judge of people whoever is doing the hiring there!!

Rude cashier decided to sarcastically apologize for the line I waited in that began back by the beer cooler. While other gate employees were cleaning and a manager walked around doing whatever... we the customer's waited unnecessarily long in covid times. So when he shared his sarcastic apology I shared my views on making customers wait while they stock the empanada shelf. He then wanted to argue and get more sarcastic. I understand being short staffed but don't get rude and sarcastic when a customer tells you their view on it

This is the next best thing to owning a dinosaur.. Today I'm convinced that the mgnt here needs a shock collar. A potential high revenue store and you have 2 people on the register and who knows how many in the back but the big girl had tome to yak about insignificance with someone else when all register could be ringing sales. Friday as most days traffic is stop and go in the front of this store. Need Jennifer from St John's to come here and whip in shape !

Staff is always friendly and food is fresh! I often stop here while visiting the local Walmart to grab something to eat and I've never had a meal that tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for an extended period of time. Though I usually only grab quick snacks the few times that I've conjured up a meal for dinner I've had no complaints about anything whatsoever! Fountain drinks are always stocked which is a plus during the summer heat.

Hello all im actually a worker for this gate. I've read a good portion of the reviews. Id like to thank you all for the high remarks. Now im not saying we are perfect but, we try our best to keep it clean, friendly, and welcoming. Now with the issue of people panhandling, peddling products, etc. We try our best to catch them ASAP. Dint be afraid to tell us what we could do better either cause we always have room for improvement!

I want to give a big shout-out to the young lady who had done cleaned all the coffee urns & pretty much shut everything down for the Christmas Eve night, And with a whole lot of PLEASEEEE GURL LOL☺ she made me some Coffee.. I forgot the young ladies name. She was a young lady with dreads, & she is what customer satisfaction is all about, I couldn't thank her enough☺ this cup of coffee was so amazing

It's beautiful, of course, because it's brand spanking new. I don't know about the employees because I pay at pump so I don't want this to reflect on their services. Each and every time I stop there for gas I'm asked if I can give someone some money and it's always the same two guys. I love Yobe and I don't even want to be there long enough to get yogurt. Take care of that situation before it gets worse.

How should I phrase it? A Gate store with an unfriendly mannerism toward truck drivers, should I say a bit discriminatory attitude. The night shift store manager "Jim" was violently pounding on the door of this big rig demanding for the truck driver to move. No sign of private property, loading area and or overnight parking prohibited was posted on the alley where the truck driver was stationary.

Clean store. Most of the employees are great, not all though. One of the last times I stopped by the guy at the counter was more concerned with his cell phone than he was with helping me. Actually couldn't believe I was in a gate gas station when I saw that. It would be a five star rating if all their employees had the same work ethic. Guy was def old enough to know better.

It's really clean and the girl that is always there when I come in is really nice and does a good job with every thing I've seen her do. I know they have a big crew there so I'm sure they're all great for the way the store inside and out is clean and fresh smelling. I bet if we weren't all wearing masks they'd be smiling and way friendlier..good job y'all!

Found out that Gate station has this area where you can make your own milkshake which is fantastic! Every Friday night when we go to visit our granddaughter I stop here and make her favorite chocolate milkshake. These milkshakes are very flavorful and just as good as if you went to Dairy Queen and got one, you've got to try these milkshakes!

Out of every gas station ull go to, this is definitly the most expensive. Everything is atleast 2-3 dollars more inside, then everywhere else. I mean heck those new twizzler gummies are 4 dollars there or u can go to dollar general and find them for only 99 cents. It's definitly a little ridiculously priced.

I like to shop @ station, I hate this Negative Nancy #Sherri is Nightmare! She been working for Gate for more than a Decade. I would recommend Gate 2 come up with milk shakes like McDonald's #Grimace Shake. So that this hard working Nancy/ Idiot need to be Reminded with this Shake #Sherri Shake.

Never going back again! So disappointed. My daughter and I went in for a few things and ended up with a ton of stuff. She was not accommodating at all. Too much to say. I have been here plenty of times. She had no name tag and she had colors streaks in her hair. We checked out at 10:49 pm.

Perfect stop for very early morning gas tank top-off and quick shopping (bottled water, coffee, etc). Even when busy, I'm always able to get in and out quickly. The staff is always helpful, and moving at a fast pace. Plus, Gate is a local company, so I feel ok about spending here!

I love GATE, one of my favorite stores. Heck I never even go in for gas. Their hot dogs and boiled peanuts are absolutely worth the trip. Then grabbing a beverage to wash down all the gluttony is available just a few steps away. I don't know what I would do without this store.

i've not been in many gas stations as "extra" as this one, but its clean, has lots of variety, the clerks seem to know what they're doing, and the checkout is modern enough to support Tap pay. Good place to grab a bite for the road, and its better than the mcdonalds next to it

Large selection of fast foods & snacks. The coffee is delicious! There is hot food cooked there also. The store is very clean and staff is friendly. The bathroom is the cleanest I have seen in a gas station/store. Plenty of parking and handicapped parking too.

This gas station actually has a pretty good location where it is that because it's the only thing of its size within a few mile radius. Don't let the busy pumps and location fool you, these guys usually get you in and out pretty fast through the registers.

Not going back here. Cashier acted like I was going to steal drinks and snack that he bagged. Idk why their machine declined this 53 yr old grandma's card the first time. I didn't even reach for the bag and he snatched the bag and pulled it

This has to be the best gates station. It has lots of pumps and plenty of food choices. E85 is available here. I like the frozen yogurt and the ice cream dispensers. Nice restrooms too. Fuel pumps have a tv to watch while pumping fuel.

I love this location. Perfect before or after the highway on my route home. People are pleasant, coffee is fresh, establishment is clean. Can't ask for much more then that. I pass a gate gas station to go to this one instead

There are busy times when there is only 1 cashier working, creating a line, but at least the line moves in the right direction. There are 2 self-checkout kiosks available for electronic transactions only. Very clean store.

I went to get gas and the pump was not working I didn't know that till after I used my card, I had to move to another pump so I canceled that transaction and they put a $100.00 hold on my card for five days.

Most of the employees are super. But there are the select few that seem to be more in tune with their phones, certain customers, and other employees. Other than that, everyone is friendly and very helpful.

I like the Gas Station but you have like 2 attendants that like to get besides themselves being passive aggressive and rude. This is my third time dealing with that. I didn’t choose their occupation.

Asked to have something made because of being lactose intolerant and instead Was responded with a sarcastic snap and “Awh dang I just made the last few.” So much for friendly customer service

Sometimes they don't have enough cashiers...and you wait in line for a long time! They stop having grill food pretty early at night..you go to other gates and they always have some on!

Good place to top up on all of your convenient needs. Traffic around here sucks, so stop on by. Take a break. This would be a good place to stretch them legs. No free air.

One of the newer Gate stations in Jacksonville, FL. It's clean, has almost everything you could possibly need from a convenience store, and the workers are friendly.

Found my items fast, the pepperoni and sausage pizza slice for my son was hot and fresh! Customer service was as it should've been sweet and checkout was a breeze!

Get coffee several times a week they give you a punch card after several punches you get a free coffee always a manager there during the day great small grill

Only 3 stars since when I had to use the restroom the cleaning lady said I could not use it real quick. When someone has to go they have to go.

Conveniently located just off the Interstate I'295, with quick access to the On-,Ramp, to continue onto Orlando Sanford International Airport.

Expensive everything. If you support Florida made businesses and don't mind spending a few extra bucks doing so gate is a good place for that
