"Food here is the best thai food I’ve ever had !! I seriously have never eaten anywhere that I’ve preferred, every meal is just on point and it always comes out super fresh"
"Food is average at best and quite expensive"
"Lovely staff, beautifully genuine Thai in a contemporary setting"
"$25 minimum order for card transaction is an obvious cash grab"
"Hadn't gone back in years as they insisted a dish i had ordered continuously over the years was supposed to taste like that"
Food here is the best thai food I’ve ever had !! I seriously have never eaten anywhere that I’ve preferred, every meal is just on point and it always comes out super fresh. It’s also BYO so makes the experience even better. I love coming here and I would recommend giving this place a go, it’s a local and it’s a hidden gem !! More
Food is average at best and quite expensive. Hardly any meat in the dishes. If you say anything, they say, "it's store policy, nothing I can do." I asked for the managers name. Response was, " no, I can't give you the name, store policy." Most of the other Thai restaurants in the hills district are far better for taste and value.
Lovely staff, beautifully genuine Thai in a contemporary setting. It's not a large restaurant, so the service was very good, and the food came out quite quickly. Some very minor language barriers, but it added to the experience and there were no mistakes with the order. All in all a terrific experience.
$25 minimum order for card transaction is an obvious cash grab. I wonder why they want cash???$$. I can shop anywhere and they will accept cards for any amount. These days people don’t carry cash. Business must be good to turn people away. I will not be back while they have this policy. More
Hadn't gone back in years as they insisted a dish i had ordered continuously over the years was supposed to taste like that. So gave them another go after 6yrs and found it to be good once again along with price and quantity of the take away portions. More
Cash only if order under $40. Why?? Disgusting. It wouldn't hurt to crack a smile either. Not one waitress smiled at us. The staff are really unfriendly and don't make you feel welcome. I get the feeling they hate working there. Avoid this place!
My first experience was superb 5/5. Unfortunately I came back today for a quick lunch and ordered chicken basil noodle. Unfortunately the chicken had a “not so fresh taste”. It’s a shame because I really liked the place. So I’m not coming back. More
Good Thai food and quick service. I usually order take out from this place and it doesn't disappoint. You do need to make an account to order food but the websites easy to navigate. The Nassaman Curry and Pad Thai are definitely a must try! More
I was going to order Pad See u prawn ($16.9) then I was told minimum card payment amount is $25. I asked: can you just charge me extra with surcharge. Staff said: no, you need to get cash from ATM. I walked out and won’t come back again. More
Terrible customer service. Ordered takeaway over the phone for lunch as their website states lunch special from 12-3pm. Got there and they charged full price. Only realised when my husband got home as he was the one that picked up the food.
I have never posted but wanted to share the amazing service that I received. Ive tried all the Thai places in my area and this is by far the best. The service is amazing and today i left my wallet at home. The people at gati realised it was
It was nice but I was expecting the menus to be a bit different to the sister store Gaya Thai. Nevertheless the quality was still great and tasty and the wait staff were lovely. The room was very loud and my other diners and I had to almost
We ordered red curry and oyster been. Both were tasty. Portion size was generous especially the curry and would be enough for two. It got ready quickly. The staff were nice, they offered high chair and kid baby cutlery for the kid. The shop
GAT RESTAURANT, KELLIVLLE is the WORST RESTAURANT! This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered at a Thai restaurant. I’ve ordered here many times because of the close proximity to my house. Today, 11 Feb 2023, I called
Worst experience ever , never have such bad service before. They didn't accept eftpos at cash register, I said I would pay it with surcharge, coz I didn't bring my wallet. She didn't care said you have to order another dish to make up $25
We'd not long moved to Kellyville and decided to give Gati a try - not expecting much as its just at the local shops. Boy were we surprised, this place dishes up the best Thai food I've eaten - anywhere!! Prices are great and the service
Quite dissapointed with our lunch today. The entrees started off well and then it went down hill with the mains. The satay sauce was so strong, I couldn't even eat my meal. And the service was terrible. Like we were disturbing them if we
Amazing food and taste. Experience the Thai cuisine as close as it can be to the local place. Generous portions and variety. Try the green curry if you want something memorable, and of course try all dishes. A special one is the Tom Yum
We live locally and have tried virtually every dish on the menu. Time and time again, their chefs deliver palatable masterpieces. The flavour is a cut above the rest, quite easily the best Thai I have tasted. Doesn't matter the soups,
Ordered only 3x mains from the menu and waited over 50 minutes for the items. Staff avoided eye contact with us, we had to question them, the response was "the items are more expensive it takes longer", it took 55 minutes for me to
When dining out in the suburbs I don't expect to be served authentic Thai, but rather bland Australian versions prepared to appeal to local palates, I get it. However you can usually make things taste Thai by adding must-have Thai
Excellent service. The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was delicious. Had the fried rice with tofu, pineapple fried rice and spring rolls. The fried rice with tofu was very tasteful and the vegetables were cooked
Take away orders are always very liquidy, i.e. more water and sauce than meat and veg. It is also very pricy for what you get. Although this is our local, we now go a little further to get value in our thai food. More
All food were extremely sweet, even chilli basil noodles were extremely sweet. And the foods were really pricy as well. To be honest this place was one of the worst Thai restaurants I've been to. More
Not value for the cost of servings Papaya salad had more 50c carrots than Papaya, very small serving for $21, a complete ripped off value. One bowl of fried rice cost $$17 to $19, not enough to
They made an error in my order, had to come all the way back, and they refused to make right! Very poor customer service. They absolutely don’t care. Never going there again. More
Pretty flavour less expensive fish I had. My barramundi had 4-5 bones as well. I could tell it was from a frozen fish! Never again! Only good thing was their nice customer service
Really good beef massaman curry. And the spring rolls where fantastic. Always good Thai food here and quick service. We done here regularly and have always had a great meal. More
Very disappointed with the quality of one of our dishes and the service on 8th November 2020. Had eaten here over 10 times and had been previously very happy with the food.
The amount of food was extremely small, the combination of meat and vegetables were in imbalance. And the taste was too sweet. The service was also not good at all. More
Come here all the time for both dine in and take away. Service is always excellent and I've never had a bad meal. Absolutely love thus place. So glad I found it ♥️ …
Food was delicious. Portion size was very generous so careful when you are ordering too many dishes. Also service is quick you don't have to wait too long for your food.
Really really good food. Lost a star (and a heap of business, I bet) because they have a minimum credit card purchase of $25. Want the $10 lunch special? It's cash only.
Good value for money with lunch special offerings. Fried rice with chicken was yum, very tasty. The crying tiger beef was average, I liked the sauce though. More
Dropped in for lunch with my partner. They do a smaller lunch menu and I had Chilli Basil noodles with Chicken and my partner had Red Curry Chicken.
The Good : the food is good and big. Quick service and nice fit out The Bad : the service sucks sometimes Rude and fast on some occasions and very
Great customer services. They offer a wide range of menu with generous size of portion. This place serve Thai food for everyone (not spicy)
We had lunch during mid-week at Gati. Boy! We enjoyed every bit of it. Hot food, quick service, reasonable prices, you name it we got it.
A good place to have Thai food in Hills area better than others in balko... spicy food so if you can't handle tell them before .
Eat at this place daily, my favourite food and staff in the world. Place is a 10/10 any day of the week. More
Very nice fresh hot food here. Been here a few times with family. It’s great food. Highly recommend. More
Always messed up order and food quality different each time on taste. Not recommend!
