I purchased a gift card for my mom on Mother's day. I called towards the end of May to schedule her appointment but was very difficult to get ahold of anyone and left several voicemails before I finally was able to talk to someone on the phone. They weren't very flexible with scheduling my appointment. So I was placed on a "waitlist" that was only about 2-3 weeks from what I was informed. I called back around July (My mother's bday) to check on the status and once again it was very hard to get ahold of anyone. Someone reached out to me after a few days and again weren't able to accommodate my mom into their schedule even though it had been long past the wait time I was told. I then asked if I could get a refund for the gift card I purchased so I could try to find a different pace where they can accommodate to our schedule needs. It was denied and again was told someone would reach out to me once they had an opening. After never receiving a call/email I called again on September and was told that there still wasn't any openings for the days I had requested. At this point I was very irritated since this was suppose to be a Mother's Day gift and she had not yet been able to use due to their lack of flexibility. I had to ask my mom to request a day off work and booked her into their next available day during the morning. She was pleased with the service on her day of the appointment. I had asked that they use that gift card at check out to cover the cost including gratitude but instead was charged to my credit card. It has been about two days and I haven't received the refund to my card. This whole experience was extremely disappointing and inconvenient . I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have a more open schedule.

I don't write reviews normally, but this place deserves my attention. I can’t wait till the COVID restrictions are lifted and Girl on the Go can open again. I’m missing my monthly treatments and TLC. I started coming to this place a few years ago for some basic services because my skin needed some help. Due to the impressive results I received during my first few visit, I booked myself for additional services such as their body treatments. Now I visit multiple times a month for multiple treatments. After every visit I’m always leaving the spa feeling and looking better than ever before. The monthly facials I receive at the spa are incredible, there’s nothing like having all your pores cleaned, I mean, truly, deeply cleaned. Plus, the body treatment is truly out of this world if you’ve never had one. You don’t realize how dirty or dry your skin truly is until you get a body treatment. Your skin will feel ultra-smooth and tight after getting a body treatment and your face will feel more radiant and cleaner than ever before after getting a facial. No matter what your routine is at home, nothing can compare to the professional services you ‘ll receive here nor will your result at home come anywhere close to the result you’ll get here visiting Girl on the Go. You cannot go wrong booking an appointment at this place once it reopens, I just hope it’s sooner than later.

I realized it had been about 3 years since my last facial and saw amazing reviews on Yelp from this place. I logged on and scheduled an appointment - the earliest being about two and a half months from the current date. Not ideal but hey, i thought it was worth the wait. Then, happily, I received a call saying there was an opening during the same week. So happy to have gotten in so soon! I had a custom facial from Dana. She immediately made me feel welcomed and calm as we talked about my skin needs. She took such great care and I appreciated the balance of easy chat and quiet moments throughout my 75 minute facial. Now, the results...12/10 definitely would recommend. Hands down, the best my skin has ever felt after a facial. When I left the salon, my skin was glowing. Throughout the day, my skin continued to feel better and better. As I washed my face in the evening I couldn't believe how smooth and hydrated my skin still felt. I have found my new salon and esthetician. Yay!!

I absolutely LOVED my visit here! I had a facial with Dana and she is truly such a kind and genuine and sincere person! I had an awesome facial with Dana and she was helpful and informative about skincare and products. She gave me some tips to find local spas in my hometown and I really appreciated that. All of the staff at Girl on the Go are so nice and welcoming and treats customers marvelously. If I lived in San Diego full time, I would absolutely come here on a regular basis. I also had a massage with Leah who got all the knots out of my back! I came here around lunch time and found plenty of street parking available. If you're in the SD area and need some pamper time, I definitely recommend coming here!

My husband referred me to Girl on the Go Night Spa. It was truly a very positive experience. The entire staff, including the owners, were extremely friendly and very professional. The spa is beautifully decorated, quiet, neat and very clean. I also found the serene decor to be very calming. They did a great job in the decorating of this spa. I had a manicure/pedicure and enjoyed every minute of it! The technician was very skilled, attentive to what she was doing, and I had one of the best manicures/pedicures I've ever had. I love the fact that they offer evening hours and that they use beautiful individual foot baths that can be easily cleaned after each use. I will definitely visit this spa again!

I have been seeing Dana for spa facials every couple of weeks, and I cannot rate her and Girl on the Go highly enough! I would see Dana every week if I could! The spa is warm, inviting and relaxing. The treatment room is quiet and a has truly upscale spa feel. Dana uses the best products, and gets amazing results for your skin! Not only is the treatment wonderful, but Dana is a wonderfully kind and caring person. You can tell that she really cares about you and your results. When the facial is over, she will recommend products for you that you cannot find in the store, that work wonders! I could rave for days about Dana and Girl on the Go. Five stars is not enough!

My first experience with Girl on the Go Night Spa far exceeded my expectations! I went for a Brazilian wax and a customized facial with Dana. I don't know how she did it, but the wax was far less painful than any I've ever had before! Then the facial put me into a blissful coma. Dana was so incredibly knowledgeable about skincare and used phenomenal products. I already booked my next appointment and look forward to reaching my skin goals with Dana's help. Amazing spa! I got a groupon deal with a friend for a manicure/pedicure. The atmosphere is very fun, flirty yet calming. The ambiance was definitely all spa! The staff are friendly and helpful. The treatments were sensational. My hands and feet felt so pampered. The scrubs smelled like heaven. The nail polish brands did not contain the big three ingredients that are considered highly toxic. That was a bonus for me! I didn't have to worry about those fumes I dislike so much. The colors were also great. Another bonus--you decide what you want to drink! We chose mimosas and champagne :) Such a good experience!

I've been going to Girl on the Go and been seeing Dana for over 5 years. I recently went for the first time since the pandemic, and I was very impressed by how seriously Dana takes all the precautions. It was a safe and very clean environment. And of course, Dana (who's the owner and also my provider) does a fantastic job with my facial. I always get the custom and let her do what's best. I had a great experience at Girl on the Go! Night Spa. My husband sent me there for a massage one afternoon, and I received a wonderful massage. Steven was knowledgeable and helped to give me a very tailored experience, perfect for my needs (knots and tension). He also discussed with me what he discovered about my areas of tension after my massage and showed me exercises and stretches I could do on my own at home to help relieve some of that tension. I would for sure go back if I lived closer to the area. Highly recommend!

I feel so incredibly lucky to have found Girl on the Go! Night Spa. It is hands down the best treatments I have received! They really tailor their treatments to each individual and only use the best products that are effective, safe and healthy for you and your skin. I was in SD on summer vacation and broke one of my nails pretty bad so I was looking for a place to fix it. I found Girl on the Go via Google Maps and just booked an appointment online for the next day. Everything was great! I loved the studio and the atmosphere. They patched my nail and I got a manicure as well. The patch was great and it lasted till the crack grew out. The polish and the service were perfect! I can really recommend coming here.

I liked the personal experience. I had a massage there a couple of months ago with Steven and oh man! He is awesome! I've never had a massage so personalized for my needs. I felt like a new person when I left. I'm going back in a couple of weeks with my husband for a couples massage. By the way, my husband had a massage by Steven as well and he said that it was by far, the best massage he's ever had. I've found my spa, never going anywhere else!

Very beautiful spa in a great location with GREAT business hours! For a girl who works 8-5 and then goes to school until 8pm this place rocks for appointment availability! I have had two pedicures here. I loved it so much I brought my Mom back for her birthday who in turn is going to bring in her husband for a pedicure too! Dana Gray is an exceptionally talented & awesome esthetician who always gives 150% to each of her clients. From the moment I arrived at her Spa & throughout my appointment, I felt so calm & relaxed. - my only wish at the end of my appt: I would have loved to have booked another service & stayed longer!! Loved my visit here. I found them while I was on vacation and found the experience very relaxing. The girls are very nice and the location is very clean. I have already recommended this spa to friends who will be in the San Diego area. I also love the brand of vegan nail polish they use and the sugar scrub they make themselves.
