Its come to my attention that i NEED to leave a review as this will not stand with me for no longer. I will start with this though. If you love your child please please do your research please reach out to the community for their say and recommendation. Please do not throw your child into any school just because the department of education gets on their back for having enrolment papers handed back by a certain time frame. Additionally, My Daughter has and is a victim of Child abuse whilst under the care of this school. The person handling it JODY SCOTT has been an absolute nightmare and must i say looks like one too. It was bought to my attention that an incident had occurred on their school grounds, i as the mother had taken the right steps to getting this investigated by police and victims Victoria. working along side these supports it was advised that some time away from school to have some work sent home while investigations was under way, to avoid further complications. However, Jody Scott the animal would refuse to support my child and go on to claim that my daughter wasn't a victim of anything, when proof was with police. long story short, spoke with Veronica who is the head principle at this school who has mind decisions of a child who also wasn't willing to address the issues to date. so its safe to say that this school is only well dressed and nothing to show for it! with this being said, reception suck, teachers suck, parent teacher meeting aren't worth going to (its not like the score's are genuine anyway). ending this with Gladstone secondary you have no idea who you tried, i will take you to the end of the roads and there's not just me with a story to tell, believe me. YOU WILL BE EXPOSED!! Jody SCOTT Veronica take a seat and now its time for you to watch the show!! As i take you reputation rightfully so !! so please anyone who is thinking of sending their child here please please do you research. this school is only out to look nice with nothing to show, within the first month of school in Feb. there were knives being pulled out in the front courtyard cops always there. oh the list goes on and on.

This school is great academically but lacks horrendously in the mental health and wellbeing department. There has only been a few instances where I thought a teacher actually cared about me. This school preaches respect but they fail to realise that respect goes both ways. students won’t want to respect a teacher that yells at them for coughing too loud or sends them to junior school for wearing a bit of natural makeup or the wrong coloured socks. nail polish, makeup, socks, hair dye and any form of self expression seem to be more important than the well-being of their own students. student services claims to be super helpful but in all actuality doesn’t help. They seem to think that telling your guardian will solve all of your problems when really students just want to talk to you and leave. this school also fails to recognise the fact that students have their own opinions, likes and dislikes and they shouldn’t be afraid to express how they feel when a teacher does something wrong. Instead, we are made to feel like we are lower than our teachers and we don’t deserve as much respect and we deserve to be pushed around and yelled at simply because we are younger and “less experienced”. Learn some respect for your students.

Gladstone Park secondary has the best staff and daily organiser. Tim, daily organiser is super caring and helpful. You would never feel isolated or left alone. Any problems, just inform the staff room, or if you are a Casual teacher, just give a call to the front desk and help will be right there. Given that ample cameras are covering all classrooms and yards, nothing can go unnoticed. It is a huge security and peace of mind for both staff members and parents, I'm sure. If you are a parent and living in Northern suburbs, it should be your choice of first 2 high schools to send your child to. If you are a teacher, it is your dream workplace for sure. If you live in this area, please pledge to local candidates of upcoming election for some funding for this school because this school seriously need help.

Terrible school, the teachers started abuse me and a lot of the boys just for the facts where boys, I once got a after school detention (which are for 50 minutes after school) for simply sitting next to someone. I was also getting bullied by a girl, she would call me names and hit me. I decided to tell junior school and they did nothing about it, This was happening to my friend and when the girl called him a "freckled face orangatang" he said "shut up" he got suspended for saying that. Meanwhile nothing has happened to the bully. A lot of the times I felt isolated and I really wanted to kill my self at times because of the staff. Please don't send your daughter or son to this school unless you want them to get problems like depression and anxiety.

This school has a program seals where it separates the smart kids from the dumb kids, the school is very deceptive and manipulative and the reason why the scores aren't down the toilet is because they get all the dumb kids to do trades. Many of my friends went here and they hated it, very bad school you'd probably learn to hijack cars over maths, there is no opportunity in this school and have fun having your son or daughter do a trade. Watch your child's wellbeing plummet down the toilet as their dreams are crushed that's what I called core values that's what I call the heart of good ol glady park. Cry all you want, there's always goodie two shoes to replace your child.

I am a parent and agree with a negative review about receptionists, My advice to the management of this school is to train reception staff about customer service. I have never felt welcome as an adult so I totally agree with the student who posted negative comment about the reception. They seem to have taken their jobs for granted and forgotten that the state actually employs them to serve the community. This is an area that requires attention ASAP. Please put your front desk someone who can smile and has enthusiasm for their job.

this schools receptionist and lady’s in the office are disgusting they sit their having their own conversations while students and others wait for them. They are also very very rude and have to fix their attitude. Also office lady’s no one asked you to work there so if you don’t like your job QUIT. And one more thing just because you have no life other then sitting in a school office going home to your husband that’s probably begging you for a divorce, doesn’t mean you have to take it out on students.

I attended this school 10 years ago, now i work in afganistan as a special profession. I learned the values i needed to work on afganstian soil. Arming bombs and c4 as a priority and who to trust. The school did not teach me much learning wise but my wisdom grew the more time had spent in this degrading place. I am currently smoking 15 packets of weed everyday and have all the money i want thanks to this school

Easily the best public school in Hume. Prices for canteen food are massively overpriced, but other than that there isn't much to complain about. The staff is always there for you, and the SRC is extremely effective for promoting a student voice to the school council and reaching the upper end of the school.

The worst school would not recommend this school to anyone even someone i dont like i wish i went to rosehill, if u want ur child to get abused let them come to Gladstone park secondary college, but it will be the biggest mistake u have ever done and will regret it

I went to school here and most of the teachers are quite lovely, especially the art teachers!! Out of the 5 schools I attended this was arguably the best! Prices are atrocious though on all levels (from lunch prices to uniform costs).

This school doesn’t even derserve a star. They care about how the school is presented more then the education in this school. So if you are going to send your children to this school well then good luck for you.

Not as good as it used to be. Bullying goes unpunished, easier to let the 'bullied' leave (even encouraged it) than properly dealing with the bullies. New parents beware! Better High schools are around.
