A true Portland gem. They have everything from glass sculptures, jewelry, oddities, incense, pipes, and hand-made art from around the world. The place to go if you are looking for a unique gift or decor. I didn't have the honor of knowing the owner myself. But it was during my trip to Istanbul Turkey that I learned about him. After entering a shop by chance and speaking with the owner a little bit about where I come from. He lit up with excitement and shared with me stories about him and Jerry throughout the years over a cup of Turkish tea. He pulled out an old book dating back to what looked like the 80s. On its pages were handwritten transactions between him and the gold door. He told me the impact Jerry had made on his life, and those he did business with were great. You can see a little area inside the gold door hanging above the registers dedicated to Turkey. I highly recommend you check it out. I can attest that the items are made by hand with love, and each piece tells a different story about their life, history, and culture. When you shop here you are making an impact and supporting artesian craftsmanship locally and around the world.

weird, i wrote a review for this spot but i just looked back and saw my text was gone. maybe they paid to get it removed? regardless, i got racially profiled in this store in 2021. there were other people in the store and the lady working only watched me. when i asked to see the gold earrings she told me they were “very expensive” and i proceeded to tell her that i had the money to spend. felt very cruel & uncalled for. never stepped foot in this place again.

I had such a beautiful experience at Gold Door. The staff is so inviting, engaging, thoughtful and informative. The moment I walked into this place, I felt so comfortable and felt such a warm presence come over me. The quality of their merchandise is phenomenal and there's a huge variety. I will be a returning customer for sure! I just can't get enough!!!

My favorite favorite favorite metaphysical store ever! They always have the best selection of unique and high quality stones and gems. The staff is always attentive and kind. Bought this ring a couple years ago and it started to come loose I took it back and they were kind enough to glue it for me free of charge.

I got a really beautiful necklace today. The lady that helped me was so awesome and so sweet. It made for an even better experience. There is so many gorgeous jewelry pieces and very cool things to check out here too. Great store, reasonable prices and the quality is top notch.

Over the past 11yrs, I've found all my jewelry desires at this store. From dainty little silver rings to mega large pendants. When I want UNIQUE, I head to The Gold Door. It never stopped at jewelry....the art is another pleasure. There's indigenous art grin around the world.

Very neat place for stones, many different types of jewelry, silver, pendants, oddities from across the US and foreign countries. Nice and friendly staff as well, Live was really helpful. Id love to come back and look at more of what's in stock.

I love this store. I started coming here at least 15+ years ago. You can just get lost for hours looking.
