One very well equipped and spacious gym right in the heart of Yorkville. Club has been recently refurbished with new graphics, painting, lights and furniture. You can access it directly from Bay Subway station and it has large windows with a great view on Bloor Street. This lets in a lot of natural light and creates a nice atmosphere to it. The club is very well equipped. What can you find there? 3x flat bench, 1x incline bench, 1x decline bench 2x Olympic platform, 1x squat rack 1x Smith Machine 3x leg press (2 plate loaded, 1x cable) 1x V- Squat and 1x hack squat 5x chest press (various types) 5x back row machine (2 of which are cable row) 3x dual cable, 2x single cable machines 4x lat pulldown 2x assisted pull up / triceps dips machine 2x biceps curl machine + 2 biceps curl bench 1x triceps press down 1x seated dip machine 2x shoulder press And many others like abductor and adductor machines, lower back extension, ab crunch and curls machines, hip thrust and hip extension machines and more... It has a cycling studio and a large group fitness studio as well, with classes running even during the lunch time. Not only in the evening. And it has two dedicated stretching areas and one core area. The PT area is a love at first sight :) and it has its own Olympic platform, squat rack, dual cable machine and other great gear and it looks just fantastic! All associates are very friendly and helpful and the club is nice and clean. The change rooms are very spacious with plenty of lockers and they offer dry sauna experience. At the front desk you can enjoy massage chairs and they also have 2 massage therapists and 1 chiropractor on site. For the membership dues it can't get any better. I highly recommend going there and seeing for yourself if you are in the area and you are considering which club would be a great match for you.

***THEFT ALERT*** Extremely disappointed with my experience Sunday, January 27 2020. Returning to the women’s locker room and to my surprise I found some of my stuff have gone missing - someone picked my lock and took my jacket and backpack. Informing the staff immediately Emma helped me look through the lockers and there my stuff was on the other side of the change room where my backpack was picked through (paper everywhere, clothes) the thief stole my house keys, business cards, documents that contained my address/personal information, my access work card, my makeup, my hand sanitizer, and pens. I immediately had to contact the bank, union, my work, and my landlord to get everything replaced. This has cost me over $300 to replace everything that has been lost. Opposed from Emma helping me find my belonging (she was great help), I found it extremely baffling that I found out after my items were stolen that I wasn’t the first person to report that someone’s keys and work pass we're stolen as well the SAME NIGHT- after talking to some of the cleaning staff they also informed me that this has been an on going issue. GoodLife should have warned people prior before using their facility that they’ve been having issues with theft and for members to take extra precaution of their belongings. I’m very disappointed that no further action was taken and I didn’t get a follow up call from the manager about my experience. Please to everyone just joining or currently an active gym goer please watch your personal belonging as other people we spoke to have said both female and male change rooms have been having issues. Again, Emma was extremely helpful and proactive during the entire situation - my only concern with the staff was that we weren't told or at least warned of the extremity of the ongoing theft at GoodLife gyms.

Updated on February 13, 2023: I am happy to report this gym took customer complaints seriously and have since resolved some of the big issues I've noted in my review. For the past few months, I haven't had any issues with the stairway. It looks like they are using fans to keep the stairway well-ventilated and free from the stench, and I've noticed the difference for the past few months. Also, they replaced an incline bench with a flat bench press recently, which I really appreciate. There are still a few things that could be improved about the gym for sure, but the management here seems to care about providing good service to customers and I am really impressed with the improvements they made in the past few months. The location of the gym is great and the overall layout and the space are much better compared to the other Goodlife gyms nearby (the one on Bloor and Park and the other one inside the Manulife centre). The staff at the reception are friendly and the upkeep of the gym equipment and the cleanliness of the workout area and the changing room are pretty good. However, for a gym that size that is often busy, I feel like they need to have at least one more flat bench press (there are currently two flat bench presses). Also, the main stairway leading up to the changeroom area and the weight training floor always reek of stench of urine. It has been especially bad for the past few weeks and nothing seems to be being done to prevent this. I understand this responsibility largely lies on the building management team, but given the lack of change on this issue, it makes me wonder if the management at the Goodlife in this location has done anything to escalate this issue and make it a priority to have it resolved. It's not hygienic and even the men changeroom smells of urine because of it.

So when I went in for the membership the guys on reception did not mention about the enrolment fee discount that was on and when I mentioned that I saw it on the website, The people responsible for signing me up did not add it. (Silly me trusted them with it before taping my money away) when I inquired as to when I can get the refund they informed I had to come back another day (a run for some of my money) The short muscular guy working there gave me a tough stare in my eye when I was asking questions about my discount as if I was asking him to do something illegal. I am going back to get my refund tomorrow, let’s see how this “GoodLife” interaction goes. Only the staff knows their reasons for being so hard on me. As a consumer really poor customer service experience of signing up for the membership. Hope someone from the team can help me change this review by offering me the price that was promised without much hassle and ‘bullying’ me for my own money. *update* Went back next day, and got the issue completely fixed in a nice and professional way by Danny. Looks like the place isn’t all that bad. Has a mix of good and bad people or people with good and bad moods like every other place. All in all it was a tale of carelessness, ignorance and finally understanding. I guess that’s what we get to live in a multi cultural city like ours. All types of people with all sorts of mindsets, moods and biases. Cheers to the ones who are making these tough times easier for everyone. And I hope the least we all can do is not make it tougher for anyone by our words or by barking at them with our eyes. Hope we all get better together Stay healthy

I had an unsettling experience with the Membership Coordinator at the gym who was in Good Life Fitness in the Bay and Bloor location her name was TANYA which left me feeling uncomfortable, and I believe it's important to share my thoughts. There was an individual at the gym who was consistently pushing me to enroll in a program and repeatedly asking why I wasn't willing to pay extra to take more programs. She kept pushing me and asking me. This behaviour made me feel pressured and uneasy our conversation. While I understand that gym staff may want to promote programs, it's essential to maintain a respectful and non-intrusive approach. During the membership sign-up process, she didn't ask for my banking information but instead requested access to my bank account, which felt like a breach of privacy. It's crucial for staff to handle sensitive information professionally and with respect for members' privacy. She saw my bank account. She didn't ask me to give her my info just took my phone and checked my bank account!! Her attitude was quite negative, and when I sought clarification by asking her to explain her question, she simply repeated it without making an effort to ensure I understood. Effective communication and a positive attitude are essential in customer service roles. I hope the gym can address this issue to provide a more helpful and accommodating experience for potential members in the future.

This place has improved so much lately. It’s been newly painted and has new artwork (murals) at the entrance and different places inside. This adds to the previous advantages this gym has, such as located in Yorkville right outside Bay station, super friendly staff who always greet you with a smile, cleanliness, two floor with complete and well-maintained equipment, 2 group fitness studios with respective classes, virtual classes, trainers genuinely dedicated and friendly, spacious change rooms, dry sauna, and good prices. However, there is room for improvement, like having fans providing air circulation, especially in the personal training area: the place can get very hot and heavy sometimes. I want to sincerely thank my personal trainer, Kevin, for his awesomeness. He is not only friendly and engaging, but also very professional. He carefully plans and follows my routine, taking notes and suggesting the best exercises at the correct intensity. He is also flexible, adjusting those days when I’m feeling down and with less energy. He keeps me disciplined and I can attest to my improvements. Summarizing: I’m a very happy costumer. This has been the best gym experience I’ve had in Toronto. I highly recommend this GoodLife location.

If you are looking for a large gym in a convenient location downtown in Yorkville this is the place for you! The staff, the equipment and the culture are all really excellent. The club has easy street-front and direct Subway access. Its upstairs, which provides a great view overlooking bloor while you workout, but don’t worry, there is escalator access so its not a workout just to get upstairs! While in the club the staff are friendly and helpful. if you have a question about the gym, or your form, or if you just need a spotter they are always eager to help. They are also always visible on the floor cleaning and tidying up. As for equipment, there are two floors of cardio machines, strength equipment and dumbells. the gym has 4 different squat racks with Olympic lifting platforms. There is a Cycling studio, and a massive group fitness room for live classes with instructors. There seem to be classes all the time ranging from Yoga to weightlifting. The changerooms are very spacious and feature massage chairs, showers, free day lockers, and a dry sauna. Goodlife provides a lot of bang for your buck, and considering the area and what you get, this is a great gym with friendly staff. Highly recommend trying it out!

Goodlife Bay and Bloor has everything you could possibly need for your health and fitness needs. Located in the beautiful downtown Yorkville, the gym is just steps away from many healthy food and beverage options. When you come up the escalator you are welcomed by friendly smiling staff who make you feel right at home! The gym is super clean, all of the equipment is neatly organized and easy to find. This downtown gym has 2 floors of machines, free weights and cardio equipment! There is also 2 group fitness studios, one dedicated to cycling and the other to cardio, strength and flexibility classes. The best part is, they have virtual classes so you can take a class whenever it fits into your schedule. They have a wonderful team of trainers who are genuinely dedicated to helping every single member reach their goals. They take the time to get to know you personally, your exercise history and your goals to craft programming that is specific to you. If you are thinking about starting your fitness journey, Goodlife is definitely the way to go. You will feel endlessly supported and be well on your way to achieving your goals!

“I love this gym. It’s like a second home for me. It was so easy to sign up and I’m grateful for the sales associate who helped me. I was apprehensive about joining because it has been a while since I worked out like I used to. It’s like she could sense it and pointed me to a few machines to start with plus a few sessions with a trainer. I’m glad I took her suggestion because she was so right and go figure, she has won a few body building competitions. Now that’s the kind of person I want to help me out. They have all the machines you could need and even brought in one that I asked if they could add, the chest supported row. On top of that, it’s clean and I always see someone disinfecting the equipment - that to me is important. If you are serious about your workouts, you want to be around fit people, body builders, powerlifters and other sports competitors, this is the place for you to be. Definitely five stars all the way!”

Been going to this one for a year now, and mostly good, minimal complaints to make but some of the closing staff need to calm down. When I checked in the past Thursday night around 10:10pm, one of the girls in the front bluntly said "just so you know we close at 11". Would've understood her saying that if it was closer to 10:30, but not when someone can have enough to easily get some good 30 minute workout done. That's really not the kind of comment I wanna hear from a front desk staff when I managed to make it to gym after a long day. Unnecessarily discouraging. I get that they want to rush people home so they don't have to stay longer, but maybe find a better way to communicate that to customers. I always make sure to leave 5 minutes before closing, but it really makes me feel uncomfortable when they keep yelling at people constantly towards the end of the hours.

Very very unhappy, i have been with goodlife for 3 months. Their location in richmond hill is amazing, wide variety of machines. Their location here, i am VERY unhappy with. Firstly, they dont have enough weight machines. They only have 1 pec fly, which is extremely popular, and always has a line up. They have 20 treadmills, which noone ever uses, and they just take up a lot of unnessasary space. Today was 33 degrees outside, and the gym had the AC off. Can you imagine? A crowded gym with no AC with temperature of 33 degrees. Of course they didnt turn it in because it would be more expensive on a hotter day. You would expect them to not be cheap considering they charge 60 dollars monthly. Im very disappointed. The only reason i am with goodlife now is due to location convenience, other than that very dissapointed.

  • Oleksandr L

Upon joining there is a bit of an upsell, but not extreme. Upsell notwithstanding, staff are friendly and helpful. The gym is well-sized, however squat racks continue to be the hot commodity here. It's been like this for years. I've been here upon the first hour in the morning, and in the evenings and squat racks are always occupied. Furthermore, there at least a couple of groups of guys who loiter at the squat rack and deadlift platform for over an hour. Last week on one visit - I executed pullups, chinups, bench press and power cleans, - during which time they completed 2 sets of squats and deadlifts within that entire hour. All in all a decent gym, but the continued acceptance of too many members does not allow for reliable usability and tighter regulations are needed to allow reasonable access.

One of the best GoodLife gyms in the city by far. The staff go above and beyond here, especially the manager, to make this place feel like it's not just your typical commercial gym. Sure - it's not as fancy and up to date as some of the GoodLife locations in the downtown core, but I think overall there is a really good selection of equipment that has a layout that makes sense. If something is broken this location is very good about getting things fixed quickly. I will say that, like most gyms, it gets packed at around 5pm, but if you go in the morning you will have no problem at all getting your time on the machines. After going to many GoodLife gyms throughout the city, I am happy to call this location my home gym.

  • Rabab

Very crowded but I found equipment I that settled with. Very sketchy compared to other locations. The tissues for cleaning the equipment ran out and I guess no one wanted to refill it. Most of the equipment is pretty old and a little gross. Also it was a little too hot, as if they dont turn on the ac. Accidentally went into the personal trainer area (there were no signs, just a bit of rope that doesnt really close it off at all) and a personal trainer rudely told me that I wasn’t allowed there and made it seem like it was obvious because of the rope (it isn’t if it’s your first time). Overall not a great experience. Gym is ok. Will probably cancel and try to seek other gyms out.

  • Phil Schumacher

Overall I like the place. It's large, gym equipment is in order, the staff are nice and pleasant. Some things however, I raise here for consideration. First, Could we have more benches in the Men's locker room? As part of the gym renovations they removed most of them. Therefore, guys are milling around try to find places to put their gym equipment when changing. Second, Please please trainers take care of your clients. I have seen incorrect form been overlooked however I recently saw a bad example of it. A guy (client) doing back T-Rows with an extremely curved back. I was honestly just waiting for him to do an injury. I am not sure if the trainer was paying close attention.

  • Shaghayegh G.Elizeh

We had awful experience with the advisor/ trainer named TANYA. My husband and I had a session for checking around and a trial day to work out. She approached us and keep pushing us to buy a membership on the same day. Her behavior made us too uncomfortable. She forced me to buy private sessions and when I said it’s expensive for me, her reaction toward me was humiliating. She kept pushing me and asking me personal questions. This behaviour made me feel pressured and uneasy our conversation. Please let her know she should be more respectful and have positive attitude if she wants to sell something to your customers. She is the worst advisor I’ve ever worked with.

  • Rich Y

I generally like this location, but the escalators going into the gym break down pretty often. They're narrow, so when they're fixing one escalator, the other one is stopped, but there's only enough space for people to walk in one direction. Same with the escalators inside the gym that help connect the top floor with the bottom one. It doesn't break down as much, and there are alternate stairs on the other side of the gym, so it's not as bad. The gym is generally pretty clean compared to some of the other Goodlife locations. Large windows let you see outside onto Bloor street. It can get very busy after work hours.

  • Jordan Smith

Switched to this gym after Rosedale Club closed in February. The crowd (staff and members) is more enjoyable, price is cheaper, and equipment is better. Wide range of classes, personal training packages, and ways to find something that fits your goal or schedule. Additionally, I’ve taken about 20 training sessions with Lucas and he’s helped address a lingering hip/lower back injury. He created a great plan to strengthen the area and listened to feedback to make sure there was no pain or risk of injury. Best personal trainer I’ve used and seen a lot of improvement, I highly recommend him for your next trainer!

  • Nabilah Chowdhury

Clean, staff are pleasant, receptive management, and big with windows/natural lighting. Much prefer this location to other dungeon-type goodlifes in downtown TO. Despite the horror stories I've heard about personal training and Goodlife, I actually had a pleasant sign-up and then productive few sessions with a trainer - Isabelle. Felt results quickly, and I was able to continue with a lot of her tips on my own during lockdown. Can't be bothered with their contract model as well - I travel a lot and would rather explore boutique gyms for that -  but the starter package was decent.

  • faraz shapurzadeh

Be careful about being trapped in the Good life fitness' contract! I had a personal trainer contract for 6 months until March 20th. They extended the binding period due to covid lockdowns on January and charged me for the sessions until Mid April! I moved out to a new place of living and couldn't use the remaining sessions. I sent the managers the explanation email, please consider my situation and let me out of the contract without penalty but the answer was no... Their contract is just considering their benefits: maximum flexibility for themselves and zero for the customers.

  • Ed G

Been going to this place for ~6 months now. The only reason I come here is because I live nearby and work out after work, and this gym is the latest to close in the neighborhood. Every other place closes at 10 pm or earlier. But it’s always crowded. There are ~10-15 regulars, some of them seem to work here, who come here every night. They spend most of the time chatting with each other, occupying all the essential equipment (squat racks, benches, etc), and doing like 1 set every 15-20 mins. 1/3 of my workout I end up waiting for someone to stop using the equipment I need.

  • Carl Richardson

I agree with the previous posts that the day shift and night shift are polar opposites. That being said, it holds true for the members too. It's not too busy during the day, but then all the gym idiots show up. Probably the worst gym I've ever been too for people taking selfies, not putting weights or equipment back after use, sitting on equipment talking on their phone. It's to such an extreme that I actually have no choice to but laugh at it all. Great gym, all the equipment, lots of space, but the people and staff ruin it.

  • Andrew Campbell

Joined this gym 2 months ago and really enjoying it. I work out between 8-9am and there are plenty of machines available and a personal training area. The locker rooms are always clean, machines in good working order. I signed up for 6 months of personal training and my personal trainer Josh is very professional, He's a motivator and is very committed to helping me achieve my goals. He makes it fun but still results driven and ensures I get a good workout in each and every time. He's highly recommended!

  • Tony Bota

The Park Road GL keeps the good vibes going post COVID. We especially like the recent upgrades on the 3rd floor…it remains very spacious and bright. The new GM (Jean-Henri) and the assistant GM (JM) are very client focused and handle all our inquiries especially well in a friendly manner. Other staff, amongst the fabulous crew include, Margaret who is the darling attendant and ensures super cleanliness. Brendan (personal trainer) is super professional and knowledgeable too. Keep up the good work team.

  • Ali Shaeb

five stars for Justice. He was just awesome. A friend of mine got a free day pass where he can invite a friend or someone to workout for a day. I did not use the free pass on time but yet I went there to see if I can train using it. Justice approved it and later one help me out checking if there is a cooperate discount with my current employer, after few days he called me just to check if I managed to get the discount through my employer. 5 stars for his customer service and help.

  • Scott Petersen

Literally what can I say? The staff are always friendly, the club is clean and organized, And the price can’t be beat. The convenience of GoodLife in toronto makes it such an easy choice, plus if I’m Traveling across the country there’s gyms everywhere. They even have partnered with gyms in Quebec & USA!!! Definitely recommend John-Henri Group Fitness class, one of the best workouts I’ve ever had. Just wish it was a little closer but it's worth the commute!

  • Marcus

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. The staff at Good Life Fitness is extremely pushy, rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. I highly recommend against taking a tour here. If you're unable to make a decision immediately after the tour, they will question why you are even there. The staff member mentioned ‘It was a waste of her time.’ Technically, it was a waste of my time. This was one of the most unpleasant experiences I've ever had.

  • Samuel Nowicki

Can't speak to the quality of the gym, classes, or equipment, but the staff at registration were extremely pushy. When choosing a membership, they tried to upsell me at every turn and couldn't take no for an answer. When I asked for a day to think it over, they resorted to badmouthing the other local gyms and criticizing me for being indecisive. It looks like a fine facility, but this experience turned me off.

  • Xavier Mootoo

I could tell immediately the staff were a bit out it/jaded (that’s alright the bar is low tbh), but had some interesting experiences in the gym, including a guy leg pressing 500+ lbs and literally screaming every rep while the trainers watched and took a video of him . Overall decent selection of equipment (could be more) but is more busy then other goodlifes due to location, a bit of a strange place

  • Q S

I have a membership which I can use any goodlife across the country. I just moved to Toronto recently and have nothing but great things to say about this gym. I’ve had my best experience at this gym compared to all the goodlife gyms I’ve been to across Canada. It’s very clean, and everyone is very friendly. Thanks to all the staff for making this experience so great.

  • Marek Hanrahan

I’ve been to this gym on and off over many years and recently I noticed it’s really improved! The staff is very helpful and friendly from the front desk workers to the personal trainers to management. The gym is very clean on the floor and in the change room, and there are a huge variety of machines, weights, and classes available for whatever your workout requires!

  • Kaye Hamilton-Smith

It has most of the gym machines and free weights, one poorly maintained pilotes reformer, stretch area, and very nice dressing rooms and lockers. The trainers are very friendly. The escalator to the second floor has been broken for months and they say it needs to be totally replaced and that will be more months. Love the massage chairs near the front desk.

  • Elvis Plaza

I've been to many different goodlifes around toronto but recently, after a new job, i've been attending this gym. I must say, It's been my favourite experience! The equipment is great, the gym is clean but what stands out the most is how friendly and professional the staff are. It's a breath of fresh air, compared to some of my experience in other gyms.

  • Brendan Fong

Favourite and go to Good Life. Great staff, always friendly and helpful. The fitness trainers hand out tips if they see people struggling no matter the plan they’re on. Staff also cleans up well and I always find the weights I need. Overall the atmosphere here is great and clean, the majority of the regular clients here are super friendly.

  • C Jay

Organized gym that adheres to COVID-19 protocols. Love that the gym is directly connected to subway with underground tunnels, during weekdays anyway. Looking forward to winter workouts. Love that they have many classes with a live instructor. Personnel are younger folk & appear motivated & well trained. Enjoy this gym when Im in the area.

  • Eitan B

Went there to try the gym for the first time - showers and changing were dirty, you need to bring your own lock, the gym itself is very outdated: yellow old lights, office old ceilings, no music, machines were ok but overcrowded do needed to wait in between sessions. Time for a serious renovation and changes of this gym asap.

  • Deibourei Geonzon

The space is pretty huge, bottom floor consists of treadmills/bike, your usual cardio machines and a few machines for arms and legs here and there while upstairs is the weight and change room area. Bottom floor is where the classes take place in one of the rooms. Although, barely no space if you want to do your own thing.

  • Beth Cunliffe

I just did John-Henri's attack class, what a fabulous experience. He is a great instructor- so full of positive and encouraging energy. I used to do John-Henri's attack classes at other clubs and was so happy to see him again on Saturday. Thanks to John-Henri for inspiring me and making fitness so much fun.

  • George Jia

It's a decent sized gym, especially considering the location. Nice and large change rooms, dry sauna and no steam room. The group classes are in the morning, noon and late afternoon time, and nothing really in between. Not that busy during the day, and don't have to wait for any machine.

  • 123 321

This is one of my favourite locations in the city. Directly beside a subway station (even connects underground if you'd prefer not to go outside) and has a huge group fitness studio. Change room is really big and spacious with nice oversized lockers and is always clean. No complaints.

  • E B

Gym is okay. Constantly busy and the escalators are always broken. One time I asked one of the employees to help me find a platform and he just said "they are around" as he went back to talking to one of the gym patrons. I didn't see any around? Isn't it your job to help me find it?

  • Garrett Bass

Such a welcoming staff with a great atmosphere. I recently signed up with Tonya and she was so understanding and patient through all of my questions. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to make a change for the better. Also I noticed it's very clean which is such a relief.

  • Mich

Great selection of weights and cardio equipment, convenient location and staff are great. In fact I wrote to Patch about a staff member at the front desk - Luis - because he is always warm and welcoming and professional, and he's always smiling, no matter what he is doing.

  • Greg Walker

This is a great GoodLife location. Can be somewhat crowded over lunch, but they have a wide variety of equipment so it shouldn’t be a problem. One of the cleanest GoodLife locations, with staff visible wiping down and keeping the location in tip Top shape at all Times.

  • Vitalii Opiekunov

One of escalators is almost always broken. Sometimes all of them are standing still. Maybe it's building's owner problem but goodlife is getting screwed the most with these reviews anyhow. Club personnel is always really helpful and pleasant to deal with.

  • Konstant Jak

Been going here for a few months. Great Gym. Knowledgeable trainers. Fitness manager was very nice. Assistant GM was very helpful. Also I know it’s hard to keep big gyms clean….but this gym seems to keep on top of cleanliness, excellent work.

Great club!! big and spacious, lots of cardio equipment, group fitness room fits a lot of members. There's also a pilates reformer machine in this GoodLife! The staff here are very friendly and kind. definitely recommend this GoodLife! :)

I had last visited this gym 20 years ago (I think) when it was changing from Bally's to something else. At that time the two levels had great equipment with a clean feel to the gym. So I was very surprised when I moved back into the area

I visited the Bay and Bloor location for the first time yesterday for a class or virtual class. Tanya and Julian were at the front desk and we weren't sure if I needed to pay extra as this is not my home location. They checked with head

  • Sean Vrbica

Decent Goodlife located right on Bloor - the gym is split on 2 floors (weights & change rooms on top, cardio & studios on bottom). It's connected to the TTC through the underground. The staff are also nice & friendly & the place is kept

Place is clean. equipment is properly maintained. All showers work. The sauna is always functional. Towels are always available. The escalators are always broken, but you can use the elevator to get out of the gym and avoid the lineups.

  • Royal Bai

The staff have always been super friendly and the culture with the personal trainers is incredibly accepting. The facility is looking a lot cleaner now as well which is why I’ve considered this gym over a lot of the downtown spots.

Good gym, decent selection of machines. Machines are a mix of new and old. Weight section gets crowded during peak times. Needs more cables, would do well to add more free weights. Overall good. Best gym on Bloor St E (imo)

Attention: avoid Goodlife and Personal Trainer , it's good for club and overall fitness but wouldn't pay the price they are offering and for my parents pff seniors don't even get deal more likely they will steal your money.

  • Nael Samy

Worst customer service ever, pushing your request to each other, not aware of their policies, never ever going to deal with them again; i recommend everyone to switch to planet fitness which is far better than them.

I love Shannon's classes. Shannon is a kind and conscientious instructor. She cares about her participants and works hard to provide a positive and motivating fitness experience for everyone. Thank you Shannon.

  • Carol Suplido

This gym is very clean and staff are very nice. But most of the time both long scalators always not working, the ladies showers drains are clogged caused flooded. Also few showers hot/cold water were broken.

  • Zelda

I guess I come here out of obligation. Where else could I go tbh. It’s super crowded and you wait for machines constantly. People never wipe up after themselves. Only the staff are actually super cool

  • Michelle Lee

This location is divided into two floors. The space is considered pretty small but they have managed to organize their space well. But the stair to the upstairs smells pretty bad with urine stench..

  • Danyal Amjad

Cleaner than other locations. Warm up area is a little small, good number of machines and decent free weight area. Lots of cardio equipment spread on 2 floors. Friendly staff and nice gym go'ers.

  • Harvey Kaye

One of the better goodlife locations. Was my home gym for several years until I moved. Very well run, most everything works. Wish they had a steam room, and they removed the massage chairs!

  • We Needed This (rb28)

The greediest, sleaziest, nastiest personal trainers. They'll manipulate you into buying further sessions, and then harrass you in-person, text, phone, and email even after saying no.

  • Noelle Slaney

What's the point of having a personal trainer section that no one else is allowed to train in when the personal trianers take up the squat racks to do an entire workout?

  • gabriela tinocco

I had a great PT assessment with Marian. He knows how to explain everything that you need to know, he is a nice and funny person. I couldn't recommend enough. 5 stars!

  • Michael Nedoshytko

Very crowded! I found the equipment old. The barbells were rusting already. No weight belts or accessories available for use. Would not use this location again.

  • Tunir Maity

Amazing location, they have so much equipment (especially plate-loaded machines) and a great community. I’d only add more squat racks for it to be perfect

  • Dylan G

Updated: 2 years later the AC is fixed. Changed to 3/5. Decent equipment but escalator constantly out of service and some updates needed in changerooms.

  • Marion Albaum

Go see Emma - she’s the best fitness advisor I’ve ever met. She got me so excited about joining the gym and it’s a pleasure to see her there when I go.

  • Carlton Ruth

Great gym! Good equipment, always clean change rooms and the staff are particularly friendly. Not much more you can ask for in a gym. Love this place!

  • Nat Valentine

Big gym, tons of cardio equipment and great staff!! Only down fall is the lack of parking but it's easily accessible by TTC. Love it here …

  • Danny Lalley

Great Staff, Love the hammer strength machines!! Gym looks great with new paint job. I love all the members here they are awesome

  • Johnny Wu

Convenient. Clean. Gets the job done. Not my favorite location, but if I'm in a hurry and only have a hour to spare,

  • Victoria Yakeemovich

Assistant manager was welcoming and went easy on me when I registered to be a guest. Gym was huge and clean :)

  • Mohamed Rezk

Good facility. Very friendly staff. Gets really busy after work hours. Definitely needs more squat racks.

  • Nicholas Verkaik

Great gym, only rec is they could use some more fans / air moment throughout the gym

  • Nick Chia Liang

Good gym and pretty busy during the rush hours. However, the gym is always clean.

  • Joshua Madero

Worst Wi-Fi ever. Otherwise 3 stars
