12/5/2023 Writing on behalf for my senior citizen dad who had the bathroom leaking repair completed at his home. He was very happy the repair done by Chip! "Chip and Henry were very efficient, everything was fixed & cleaned up. Job was done great, job was completed & was happy it was completed same day". Thank you Mr. Doyle. 1/1/2023 Great experience! My water heater literally exploded water was continuously going everywhere I have no idea how long it was like that. I called Goode they told me where to turn off the water. They stated they could get a tech out the same day but since I already took a cold shower I told them the next day was fine. The plumber Chip called me first thing in the morning & said they were on the way he was very upbeat -loved that for first thing in the morning. Chip and his assistant Brendan were great! Besides being so polite, they put on shoe covers upon their arrival, Chip was informative he walked me thru the entire process of the water heater installation and what my warranty was along with it. He asked if I needed anything else while they were there so I had our basement toilet fixed (so happy we do not have to run upstairs all the time now ha) not only did they take the old water heater with them they cleaned up the work area and then some. His assistant was learning at the same time very focused and efficient. I will definitely be referring Goode out to friends/family/clients & especially my neighbors telling them to ASK FOR CHIP! He made a very stressful situation not so stressful. Shout out to the office girls they were very nice and kept me updated of the process of my appointment and followed up with a text to see if everything was ok. Great customer service communication. Alex Y. came over promptly after I submitted my web form and explained out water heater plumbing issues. He gave a thorough detail as to what the issue was, his recommendation, and why exactly he was recommending a new water heater installation. He also informed us about their furnace cleaning/inspection service which we took advantage of as well. The price for everything was a bit higher than we expected, but we trusted the knowledge and quality of the work. He also gave some tips for some of the smaller things we wanted to get done around the house ourselves. Chris C. was friendly and approachable as he introduced himself, and got to work quickly on the furnace inspection. Overall it seemed like the unit was doing alright, but he did try pretty hard on up-selling additional humidifier upgrade/replacements. He gave us a recommendation for the HVAC/Furnace capacitor replacement, but we opted to wait on replacing as the price seemed a bit steep, and everything was still working as expected. Jonathan D. and Chris K. did a solid job at the installation, as well as incorporated feedback I gave them at the beginning of the installation. All questions were answered clearly and they explained pretty much everything before heading out. I forgot to ask about usage instructions for the new water heater units, but I'm sure we can find those online somewhere. Overall positive experience and look forward to bringing them in for any other plumbing concerns we have.

Called Goode Plumbing to inspect a property’s catch basin and let me know if it was collapsed and while out there to see if a clean out valve could be established in the basement of a vacant property. In which several times my team let the Goode team know upon doing this to give us a cost to complete the work. Instead of giving us an estimate of the work they claimed they called the agent selling the home and myself, we both missed the call to inform us of the following information. Essentially their call was to inform us that they needed to charge us $351 for a level one diagnostic charge just to go out to the property for up to 30 minutes. They wouldn’t even give us a estimate on the charge to complete the work or information on what needed to be done. The individual we also talked to when calling the office appeared to also be at home and was having a conversation while on the phone with my team about what her and her family were having for dinner. My team buys and sells over 128 homes a year and this will be the last time Goode Plumbing will be contacted again. The fact you are charging individuals that probably have no idea what costs are $351 for “up to” 30 minutes of work is ridiculous and sad.

John was amazing! Yes he wore shoe coverings. He looked at my water heater and tried to restart it and it did! He explained what was happening and what to expect as it may not stay lit. He told me what his thoughts were for what I needed and when I asked about a tankless he explained what needed to be done and why it would not be a good option for me due to the venting. He sent me a quote on replacing it but did not push the issue. He said my information would be on file and if I am ready to move forward all I needed to do was call and they would be there that afternoon. He was kind, professional and very detailed. I'm so happy I made this call today!!! I found a gem and have already told my neighbors that it doesn't have to cost $150+ for someone to tell you what's wrong! They normally have a much lower dispatch fee but it was waived for me! Thank you!!!! He set my mind at ease and even told me financing could be available.

Great outfit. I live in a 100 year old building with a mishmash of old and new pipes. A few of our units have used Goode in the past for smaller jobs and we contracted with them this time to replace all of our horizontals plus the water heater. We ran into a significant issue with pipes that were not part of the project and they handled it smoothly. The additional cost was reasonable when we would have had to agree to whatever they proposed, and the crew was just great. Trevor provided the quotes, responded promptly to texts, and was available when there were issues. Anthony was the on-site lead and he couldn't have been more courteous. They had to pull out cabinets for the additional repairs, something we had not planned on, and they left those units fully reassembled and clean. Above and beyond, the unit owners were very pleased. Highly recommended.

A new shut-off valve was needed to replace an existing one which no longer functioned and had a slow drip, connected to a basement toilet. The toilet also needed repairs to prevent it from randomly running causing excess water usage. Jacob (technician from Goode) was able to handle both repairs, arriving very timely and completed the work in a very short time period. He was responsive, understood the issues, and went above and beyond in his visit, showed concern for any other issues that may exist, and actually made a few minor adjustments on other items while here. We discussed other potential future projects, and he sent estimates later the same day, with no pressure to move forward on them until we are ready. I highly recommend Goode, whose services we have used for a number of years, and Jacob for his performance demonstrated on this job.

Jean Paul, as always, did a magnificent job on my home remodeling project this week. He also found efficient solutions to everything that the drywall & painting company pointed out were issues and that needed to be fixed by a professional plumber. Jean Paul also did a wonderful job at installing the toilet, pedestal sink, and faucet in my new powder room. It looks amazing! He also is helpful with sharing his insight on the best way to care for these new items. I always learn so much when he is here. Plus, Jean Paul also has an amazing sense of humor! A big thank you to Jean Paul as I continue to remodel the first floor of my home! He and the rest of the Goode Plumbing team are excellent at finding solutions as my two-month renovation process progresses. Thanks to Jean Paul for a job well done. Who knew plumbing could be so much fun?!?

I called them to diagnose and fix my water heater problem, but the experience was far from satisfactory. The technician arrived and instead of promptly addressing the issue, he began sharing irrelevant stories about water spills on the floor. He then concluded that I needed to purchase a new water heater, quoting a substantial amount of $3700. Their professionalism was questionable, especially when he demonstrated an inability to reset the Flammable Vapor Sensor on the water heater—a task I assumed would be standard for a skilled professional. It felt as though they were more interested in selling me a new unit than in actually resolving the existing problem, sending a salesperson rather than a qualified mechanic to handle the situation.

Used Goode plumbing for multiple services (check valve, leakage, toilet reset) and found all one-site technicians very friendly and competent. They’d answer all my questions and got the job done professionally. I’d recommend them to my friends. Just deducting one star because the admin that answers the general phone line is super rude. Had to call multiple times for various reasons e.g. asking for a service to be scheduled, update on a proposal or following up on work done and she’s just always so unpleasant and rude. Whoever leads the business needs to fire here or get someone else to answer the phone. If I didn’t like the people on-site I would not have called their again for other work.

We would highly recommend Goode plumbing and specifically Chip R. Chip was wonderful:) He showed me the issues and also reviewed the issues with my husband via phone. He wore the covers and cleaned thoroughly. He gave recommendations on other issues that we clearly have, but did not push/pressure any additions to his estimate--this point I strongly appreciated. Chip was kind and respectful. We had 2 days of work and I was happy that we were able to work with Chip on both days. I can be wary of new people in my home, but he put me right at ease and I felt I could trust him to respect my house and my wallet. I would certainly love to work with Chip again on future projects. The plumber who came out was wonderful - gave me a quote for the work and I quickly signed on the iPad and put down a deposit for 50%. I realized I could instead get the cost covered by my home warranty but needed to use their plumber. I called Goode and put the work on hold within 24 hours. When I cancelled the job I was charged 10% of the total job cost. While I now know that was in the contract and understand I SHOULD have read it, I was not told verbally and the contract was presented to me on an iPad with just the signature line. I spoke with the company and also asked for a call back from the manager, which I never received. Disappointed to be out almost $200.

Recent experience with Goode Plumbing was rather bad. The plumbing team that arrived did not have the correct materials, which we only discovered when they had installed a high pressure mains water valve to with the incorrect gasket, having not prepared the flanges on the existing pipes correctly. This resulted in the joints having serious leaks which, we had to leave in-place over-night while they got the materials to rectify the mistake. Given this was the mains water supply to an entire apartment building this level of preparation was not what we expected, and we are lucky it did not result in a catastrophic failure.

The company overall is easy to work with. Office is attentive and responsive. The plumber (Chip) was a top notch guy through and through. He was super knowledgeable, worked quickly, effectively and overall awesome professional work- going above and beyond my expectations. Chip gave up front quotes and went above and was just a great guy. Update: had an issue in the evening and Chris came out first thing in the morning. He greeted me with a smile and knew exactly where the problem would lie. He told me what needed to be done and problem was solved. I can’t recommend Chris and Goode enough all around 5 star.

I highly recommend Goode Plumbing for their efficient, professional and prompt work. It’s wonderful to have an explanation of the issues so clearly stated in layman terms. They were great in making modifications when I had an existing counter blocking the toilet instillation. The ADA toilet height with an extra 2 1/2 “ is perfect for my needs. I thought that Brian and Brendan were both polite and friendly along with making the whole job super easy. They found their own parking and all I had to do was answer the door. I’m very pleased with Goode Plumbing’s work. Thank you Brian and Brendan!

Adan and Martin were able to replace our injector pump and sump pump the same day the pumps stopped working. Trevor came out to give a free estimate before any work started. I highly recommend this company solely based on how professional and friendly the staff was. We also were given a 3 year warranty for the work performed and can call anytime to have them come back should anything stop working. Update: The ejector pump failed, but the team returned same day, as promised, and replaced it with a new 3 year warranty. They also resealed the sump pit lid.

We've used this company maybe a half dozen times in a SFH. We ended up signing up for their multi-year maintenance contract and been happy since then. Maybe only one employee was not an expert in the problem that we were having. The rest have all been pretty great, and thorough with explanations of the problem solved as well as preventative maintenance. They seem to be well-enough staffed to be prompt on short notice. Today: 7am call, 9am they arrive to diagnose, 11am problem is solved after faulted equipment replacement.

Our water heater from 1998 finally started leaking. John first came out to see if any repairs could be done. Gave us honest feedback and had to get it replaced. John explained everything and was able to get someone over in an hour. Adad and Martin came in and took away our old water heater and installed a new one. Seemed like complicated work but everyone was friendly and explained the process. Everything was finished within the day and done for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend Goode.

I've used Goode Plumbing multiple times and I'm always impressed by their professionalism. They clearly enjoy and take pride in the work they do. They have now installed two water heaters for me in two different homes and I cannot recommend them enough. Their latest work entailed installing dual tankless water heaters working in tandem, which they installed perfectly and worked hard to finish the job on the same day. Goode came as a second opinion from another company we had come for our condo unit due to backed up water in main drain pipe and agreed w first company but were less expensive than what the other company quoted us. They were very professional and responsive and thorough. Everything the plumber Chris K. said was exactly what the problem was and he was efficient and respectful of our time and considerate of our home when working ensure to keep things organized.

I am thrilled with their expertise and help today. We called them because of a stench emitting from our sump pump in our basement. I thought it was a sewer backup. They investigated and found that our sump pump had actually burned out its battery. The smell was actually the battery fluid burning. They replaced the battery and the inverter and the problem was solved. I am thankful for their expertise and quick work to prevent it from being a bigger problem.

When we had a problem with the bathroom sink Goode Plumbing was recommended to us by someone who has used them. They came out right away and had the issue taken care of in a highly timely manner. The men were efficient, courteous and knew how to deal with the problem very well. I personally thought that they did an excellent job. One thing though I thought that the price of the work was a bit high, but it was an on the spot call and taken care of quickly.

Response time was excellent and the answering service scheduled a visit for that day. Trevor arrived within an hour and was quick to figure out what needed to be done. Unfortunately the cost right now is a bit high, although I don't know what other plumbers charge so this could be average, but we discussed next steps and I will be contacting Goode. This is not the first time I've used Goode, they may not be the cheapest but the service is well worth it.

Charged me $4,800 for a day and a half job. All minor repairs. Job was not done correctly and they had to come back to change it. Paid them in full and later found a pipe leaking. They demanded another $1,800 and conversation was very rude and disrespectful. Called another person who came in and fixed it in 10 minutes and didn't charge a cent. Beyond extremely dissatisfied. Awful work and total lack of honesty and business decency.

John arrived within 5 minutes after his call. He was personable and respectful. He gave me a detailed description of what needed to be done and what the price would be. He also explained extra services that Goode Plumbing could provide. He did not pressure me, which I appreciated. He said that the plumbers would arrive sometime on Friday, and that they would call me beforehand. I appreciated his business-like manner.

Brian saved us. We should have called Goode from the start. Our first technician from another company said they fixed our washer hose but they didn’t and we flooded a second time. Brian came the day we called cleared the blockage and stayed to make sure the fix worked and it did!! Thank you for your professionalism and taking care of our issue. Will be calling you back next time, Goode will be our first call.

I had a hot water heater improperly installed by a previous company. Goode plumbing did an amazing job fixing the installation. They made sure I was informed of what the work would entail, and since the job entailed running new gas piping, worked with me to find a minimally invasive path to the water heater. I highly recommend Goode plumbing (and Chip in particular) and will be using them in the future!

The technician, Adan, did great work. He called to tell me he was on his way, arrived when he said he would, and assessed and fixed our problem quickly. He did put shoe covers on, explained everything that he was going to work on and cleaned up completely after he was done. In and out in about 35 minutes I think! We’ve had Goode out a few times, which is more to do with our house than their service. Every time they make sure to explain everything in a way that we can understand and feel comfortable making decisions. Never any pressure, and always focused on making sure you know what they have found and how they will try to fix it. Very happy with the service we’ve received and the work they have done.

Goode Plumbing has always been solid. I called this morning to see when someone could come out to check out our slow kitchen drain and to my surprise they fit us in the same day. Adan was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable, and walked me through what he needed to do to fix our drain issue. He was quick to diagnose the problem and very kindly explained the process and answered all my questions.

We met with several plumbers and decided to use Goode to install two water heaters, a sump pump and ejector pump after receiving a recommendation and getting the most competitive price. A few months later, they came out same day to inspect a leak, which they resolved at a fair price. Anthony also answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease. Highly recommend their team!

Jose and Danny came in for a smaller job but ended up helping me out with some other outstanding issues that needed to be addressed and turned into a 2 day job. Jose talked me through everything and did not try to upsell but offer realistic options. Professional and quality work - all around great guys and accommodating to my schedule. The city turned off the water for several hours and once it’s back on, debris from the pipes interferes with the water flow. In one of my toilets, the tank wasn’t refilling. Danny from Goode Plumbing did an excellent (and very fast) job in replacing the part. It now works better than ever. Kudos to Danny and the team at Goode Plumbing. I’m recommending them to everyone.

Chris and Nick did an amazing job replacing my water heater with a tankless while also replacing a couple of humidifiers. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and instilled confidence. Alex and Antonio have been great. They have helped diagnose problems with an ejector pump installed by a different company, rebuilt and replaced toilets, fixed a p-trap leak, and installed a MoenFlo. Very professional and good quality of work. If there is an issue, their answering service responds quickly. I haven’t had any issues making appointments or rescheduling.

We hired Goode to reset two toilets. While the job was done well, their prices seem to be extraordinary. We paid $475 to have each toilet reset, plus $400 to “partially rebuild” a tank, whereas I have a friend who paid $500 for a brand new toilet and installation with a reputable company. I cannot in good faith recommend this company again given their high fees

Chris and Nick resolved a complicated and impactful commercial water heater issue for my company. They were very professional and communicative; I could tell they were highly experienced and very thorough. Danny, our plumber was so thorough and diligent. My leak was not obvious and he had to investigate and ask questions about recent maintenance activity before the found the source of the leak. Such a relief to get service on the weekend. Expensive, but took care of the problem and prevented further damage.
