I have eaten here for a number of years. Although I get to travel for work, including to India, the food from the Grand Taj is the best Indian food I have eaten in Australia. The chicken vindaloo, whilst potent, has this magical addictive taste that keeps me coming back. Thanks for keeping me fed and happy!

Unfortunately very average Indian, sauces tasteless, beef biryani- tender beef, zero flavour, butter chicken was very red and unlike anything related to butter chicken, excessive tomato base. Hariali kebab, mint & coriander missing, 1st and last time ordering. Tuesday's not a good night!! More

Very over cooked food. not a good taste at all the doe tastes like it had been sitting for 2 days. It was as thick as your big toe and as chewy as a rubber tyre customer service had no recommendations for food or manners at all hope I don’t get food poisoning from this horrible chicken.

The best Indian place Ive found in Brisbane. Used to be a local place, only 5 minutes away. Have since moved but happily drive 20 minutes just for this place because no where else I know in Brisbane compares. Great nan bread and love the rice.

It's time to sit outside and eat great food. Covid 19 has reduced us to take away. Atmosphere is great as it is quiet at Gumdale. Beef dishes great, Chicken dishes superb with Naan and a bottle of cold wine from a few doors up as it is BYO.

I visited this place for the first time over the weekend for lunch. It wasn't at all busy at the time. I tried the yellow rice with mixed vegetable curry. The food was average. There was nothing outstanding about the flavours. Good portion

Went there last night my company and I ordered 4 different dishes. Each one of them tasted unique with plenty of flavour. Sauces thick and Rich but not drowning in oil like over places. Waitress was lovely. Overall a pleasant experience.

Had a very bad experience on Mother’s Day.We ordered dinner on line at 3.00 pm for pick up 5.15pm as we had another engagement.At 6.00 the order had not come and my lift had to go.I approached the staff three times to be told 10

Didn’t even continue with order and walked out. Almost twice the price than other great Indian restaurants. Meal for 2 would of been $78+ 16% surcharge. Went to Wynnum central and got same amazing food at $47 NO surcharge.

Best Indian food I’ve had in Australia! Got the Dahl with Spinach and Aloo Matar Masala. Both incredible vegetarian options with amazing flavor. Service was so good and really fast. Will return again for sure! More

Polite staff, lots of GF options. I had heard good reviews previous for this restaurant. We went with the family banquet which was a lot of food and we thought good for leftovers.
