I went to Growers yesterday because I needed to get some difficult to find flowers, and when I called ahead they told me they had them. I was quoted a certain price, and then I proceeded to drive to the store (I live 45 minutes away). When I arrived, I was quoted a different price by one sales agent, and then a different price by another- and all of these were different than the price I was given on the phone. I questioned this, and the first sales agent proceeded to *pretend that she didn't say the price I clearly heard her say a minute ago*. I didn't like the feel I was getting so I proceeded to ask why they kept changing the price (making it more expensive- even if it was just a few dollars, it was weird). The 2nd sales agent was INCREDIBLY rude- aggressive, full of attitude, raised voice. And when I pushed back, not only could she not apologize or clarify what was going on, she proceeded to act like 'if you don't like it, tough'. I asked to speak to the manager or the owner, and he was much more reasonable and respectful. But guess what? Another customer came in, and that 2nd sales agent? She was perfectly respectful with him. Here's where I mention that I happen to be a Black Woman, and the other customer was a White Man. I don’t know why, from the second that sales agent saw me, she was unnecessarily agitated. But there’s very clearly something off with that particular employee, and all I've gotta say is... if you have issues with Black people then maybe you shouldn't be working in one of the most diverse cities in the world. And if that’s not the case, at the very least you need to manage your stress and simply apologize when things get out of hand. There was no need for this. This was an incredibly upsetting encounter for me. The manager was good, and he apologized on behalf of the sales agent. But the interaction with that sales agent still left me feeling really off. I really needed these difficult to find flowers, but if I didn't I absolutely would not have purchased there. Driving over 45 minutes for a product and then being treated as if my money and my being aren't important is really really not ok.

Special request not acknowledged and ignored altogether. This is the second time I used them. The first time, I wasn't so sure of them. My sister liked the arrangement she received but it didn't look much like the picture. I was really annoyed at the time but my sister told me how much she loved them so I left it at that. This time, I couldn't find an arrangement that suited my niece, who was turning 21, so I chose the option for a florist to come up with something using fresh flowers they had available on the day. I noted that that option gives you no room to give them specific instructions or ideas or background as to what the person likes/dislikes. I chose it anyway, paid for it and immediately followed up with an email to the florist saying that my niece was celebrating a big birthday and that she loves periwinkle. I asked them to include something of that sort of colour (I note that they had at least one arrangement on their website that had a periwinkle type blue colour in it so trusted that they had something they could put into her arrangement). I didn't receive a response to my email and alas, no periwinkle or any blue flowers whatsoever in the arrangement that my niece actually received. I was really disappointed. I'm not sure if I will use them again. They do nice arrangements, but not as nice as advertised. Sent a follow-up email to them. No response. Comparable to Amazon, Google and Microsoft where queries fall into a black hole. Buyer beware.

The plant/flower I got for my mother for Mother's Day was lovely for sure. Decent price and the plant was larger than I expected which is a positive. I called the store the morning of to get an ETA and they answered the phone in what I thought was an unprofessional manner. There was no greeting, someone just answered the phone and said, hello (I thought I called the wrong number). When I asked for an estimated time for deliver, I was told to hold on and then they didn't put me on hold so I just heard them going through papers for about 5 minutes (I laughed but realistically that just isn't professional). When they came back on the phone they said everything will be delivered by 4 and "they have thousands of orders and they can't give a specific time." I found their response to be rude and that could of been stated in the beginning rather than putting me on (imaginary) hold. My mom loved the gift and in the end that's what matters. Their delivery was at a reasonable time. I would just say they need to work on their customer service and that's why I gave 3 stars. Customer service is everything. *Update* The fact that you think it appropriate to respond 8 months later with all that attitude really gives a needed example of the customer service I experienced on the call that day. Were the flowers nice? Sure, but what will determine a loyal customer will always be how you treat them. Remember that. Stay blessed.

Bought a bouquet of tulips and peonies. When I left the store I noticed the peonies were *covered* in black mildew and fuzzy white mould. I returned it, and one of the workers was extremely rude and raised her voice. She told me that "all peonies from local growers have mould" and "if there is no mould they won't open" - when I tried to tell her it's not my first time buying flowers, she just walked away! Then another worker offered to replace my peonies for non moldy ones (so much for all peonies are mouldy"). Then when I left the second time, I noticed that I was charged 15 dollars for 10 dollar tulips. I didn't bother coming back for my five bucks, and won't be back again. Yang's Flowers just next door is much better. Edit: I don't usually edit my reviews but after seeing the response I just had to. Here's a perfect example of a store blaming and threatening the customer. It's not my problem the store sells mouldy flowers that I noticed after leaving the store. It's also completely outrageous that "management" would claim I displayed negative attitude towards women!? Gender discrimination!? What are you even talking about? Threatening to post a video of me in the store? I have nothing to hide. I am not removing my review.

I have used Grower's Flowers over the last 10 years. In fact, they did my flowers for my wedding 10 years ago and the arrangements were stunning! I first saw their work at a friend's wedding and decided to use them at my own. My flowers inspired another friend to use Grower's for her special event. We have since used them whenever we want flowers. The arrangements are fresh, creative and beautiful. My husband orders bouquets for special days like my birthday (the lovely esperanza roses and peonies), our anniversary and even "just because". We were most recently there last weekend to pick up Easter bouquets on a Sunday. The fellow working there took his time to ensure that the two bouquets were beautifully arranged and packaged. The place was busy but we never once felt rushed. He was wonderful. Everyone that we have ever dealt with at Grower's has been terrific and I look forward to returning in June to put together some arrangements for my special milestone birthday. For me, they are one of the best in Toronto and their quality, pricing and creativity are amazing! I bought white dahlias here to complete my mother's day bouquet. When I came home I noticed that two of the flowers were broken, and by the next day the rest of the flowers had wilted. The remainder of the flowers in the bouquet that were purchased from next door (Jong Young) looked great. The next day I decided to come by to get replacement flowers and told the owner what had happened. She did not offer anything by way of apology or refund, denied and refused to take any responsibility for the quality of her flowers, and accused me of lying. Very disappointed with the quality of the flowers and especially the owner's rude behaviour. I never had any problems with the other flower stores on the street. Take it from someone who has worked in the floral industry - do not buy your flowers here.

The owner/manager is very unprofessional and aggressive. The bouquet I had purchased was very poorly wrapped with ripped paper. You couldn’t even see the two types of flowers I had selected. The taller flower was place on top and hiding the short one. A good florist lines up flowers properly for wrapping. When I asked for rewrap one girl was very sweet and agreed with me and told me to wait and she can help. Shortly the manager came out yelling and insulting me. I got a refund and purchased flowers from two stores down called ken’s flowers. Big difference, they had much better quality, better pricing and most importantly appreciated my business despite how busy they were! It just explains why growers flower had the least lineups! Don’t choose this one go to the next one!

Grower's has become my new favourite florist in the city! I discovered it about two months ago when I was looking for peonies for my mom's birthday. The owner/head florist, Kyle, went out of his way to find me the best peonies they had in the back. He also wrapped them with gorgeous burlap and twine. My mom was so happy! When I told my hubby about this amazing experience, I think he made a mental note! ;) He decided to contact them and got me the most stunning birthday bouquet from Grower's. It was filled with baby pink peonies and roses and I was so in love with this bouquet. Words can't explain it - you just have to look at the pictures! I can't wait to go back to get more fresh flowers from here soon. Totally recommend :)

I ordered the Graceful Embrace (Deluxe) arrangement for my friends' birthday. I browsed through other flower delivery websites, but loved the white hydrangea/light pink roses mix, so I decided to order from here! I placed my order online and selected same day delivery. I ended up calling the store because I forgot to include my friend's apartment number. I'm not sure who I spoke to, but the lady was very nice. Despite my ordering being processed on Easter Monday, the arrangement was delivered right away! The only con: I wish the roses were a little more fresh. Some of the roses looked like they were browning around the edges. Other than that, customer service was spot on and the flowers were beautiful!

Grower's Flower Market did our wedding flowers and we absolutely love them. I showed them a picture which represented what I wanted as my bouquet and it came out beautifully even better than the picture. They also did the flower arrangement for our luncheon venue based on our budget. They were delivered on time, arranged beautifully and all the guests loved them. I would recommend that you visit the store and have a list of things/instructions that you wanted and they can give you advice on what works. If you want them to deliver and set up, the price is reasonable. They are busy so also be mindful that they need to serve other other paying customers. They made our spacial day beautiful!

I've been patronizing Grower's for almost two years now, after locating them online. A location that's convenient to me, and always an immaculate selection of blooms.... that's why I keep coming back. Prices are super-reasonable, and the staff are always helpful in creating the perfect arrangement for me. I'm told (by the recipients) that Grower's flowers last quite a long time, and they always find them beautiful. Parking can be a bit of a hassle on Avenue Road or the side streets, but that's true of any establishment in the area, and not the fault of Grower's. I'll be patronizing them again this week.... a fresh colorful start to 2021!

I used this flower store for my wedding in July, 2017. The flowers were beautiful and exactly what I had requested. Milena helped me pick the flowers to fit my vision - based on pictures I had saved from the internet. We met on several occasions before the wedding to finalize the flowers - she was also easy to reach via email. On the day of the wedding they set up all the flowers at the venue . I would recommend this store for any occasion, beautiful flowers, good store hours, excellent advise, and great prices! I was sent flowers from them from a friend and the arrangement was the most spectacular creation I had ever received. I haven't used any other florist downtown since. Melania is always available, always quick to respond, bends over backwards to get you what you need and always makes you look good. Even describing what you want over the phone or by text, she can create and deliver and never disappoints. Use Growers for all your Florist needs. you won't be disappointed.

Good service in my experience. I ordered a delivery online from the US, so I wasn't present to receive the flowers in Toronto. Unfortunately I couldn't know whether or not someone would be present, so I thought to myself the flowers could be left at a doorstep. Well, I didn't consider the heat-sensitivity of roses on a 29 degree day. Thankfully Milena took care to attempt delivery several times without making contact. When we were able to speak on the phone later on (I missed her earlier call at work), Milena and I worked out a solution. Thanks again!

I came across this business doing a Google Search. I'm in Calgary, and my mom is in the GTA.. Sent a Facebook message, on their page and had someone respond to me a bit later. Had a great chat with them, and they told me how to go about ordering from out west. Website was extremely easy to use, ordering was very simple (went with the florists choice 22 stem). Got a picture after delivery from my mom, and the arrangement was absolutely amazing! Will definitely use again, and will let anyone I know in the GTA area to use them as well!

Very unprofessional. When we asked our order to be ready for the day after, the worker promised to have it ready as early as they opened so we paid for it. We arrived right at 9 and they weren't open yet. The worker who said she would make the order opened the door at 9:20am and explained that she wouldn't have the ready order until 10:30am. She argued with us and said that her boss told her to do it by that time, but we never agreed on that time. Now we're late for our bridal shower, flower-less. Terrible experience.

I was sending flowers to a friend in Toronto, I’m in Vancouver, and was lucky enough to find this flower shop on Google Maps. I called just before closing on Saturday and they were able to deliver them in time for his birthday on Sunday afternoon for me! Amazing. I ran a small, but high end flower shop for 10 years and was looking for an elegant and very simple arrangement for a rather discerning friend. He was very impressed by the quality of the flowers and thought they were beautiful.

Called and talked to Mariam. Ordered the Touch of Bliss bouquet for a friend who was having a rough patch. I'm not in Toronto so was a bit nervous but I liked their website and they had free delivery. Mariam texted me a receipt and a pic of the flowers. They were better then the pic on their website. Wonderful experience, couldn't have been better!!! Ordered a bouquet for my wedding. Had to reschedule last minute due to illness and they were very accommodating. Kyle managed to get me the same type of flowers three months later when we had rescheduled even though they were out of season by then. The arrangement was absolutely gorgeous and they delivered to our door the day of, so we had nothing to worry about. Great experience. Highly recommended!!!

Words cannot express how Grower's Flower Market saved the day when I contacted them for last minute flower arrangements. They went above and beyond to put together the most beautiful collection of hydrangeas and roses along with a gorgeous bouquet within 2 days. The also delivered it to my home with lots of care. I am going to continue with their services as they are very consistent on making such beautiful and well manicured arrangements.

I called Grower's when I needed a last minute delivery (same day...same morning actually), and the woman on the phone that I spoke with was so accommodating and kind! She assured me that she could get all I needed together, put into a secured cab and delivered to my door. Within 2 hours the flowers arrived...fresh + beautifully arranged! Without question, I will be using Grower's and referring them to all my friends moving forward!

To my Persian friends: They have the best Hyacinths in town. I got mine at $5.59. They had a couple others that were bud but I got this one as I needed it for Nowrooz. It's a small place and a bit comfortable to walk around but good vibes. There are a couple of other florists next to them but they have the best price for Hyancinth. Staff are kind and professional. I'm happy with my experience and will check them again.

Simply the best! This is the only florist I ever use... for all of our Condominium properties. Never have been disappointed. Always delighted by the "over and above" quality of both the flowers and the excellent service from Milena. She has excellent taste and puts together exquisite arrangements for any occasion. I bought a premium arrangement, and I was very disappointed. It didn’t looked like the photo that they had pictured on the website. It truthfully looked like something I could of put together myself. Some of the flowers were old, the vase was different, stems were showing...just a huge disappointment. Won’t be shopping there again!
