Very poor experience ! I brought a picture of the caramel foils I wanted & the length. I asked for layers and was told no (even though i have always had layers from as long as I can remember) , I was told my hair would be thinned out with a thinning scissors instead. I asked for some layers around my face to frame it and again I was told no because 'The Rachel from Friends look is not in fashion any more' !! The cut is too thin and straightening it only lasts a day before it loses shape. My colour at the end could not be seen.. i was told that she 'over toned' my hair and It will look more like my picture in 2 weeks time (amazing as I always thought when you go to get a colour done you walk out with it that day.. strange!).. 2 weeks later and colour still has not come up and never will. The stylist did say about the cut in the picture being blunt at the end but I said no to that as I have thick hair. I did ask for what I wanted which I did get the time before from her so I can't understand why this time was the polar opposite. I won't accept an offer to have it fixed as I believe that spending 3 hours in there and over $200 should result in a good hair style and 'fixing it' should not be needed. It was a senior stylist also. Real shame.

My hair still looks like it still has regrowth after paying $185 for foils yesterday. It took 2 hours to put them in (normally 45min). They've caused damage as they put the bleach on the whole hair strands instead of just the regrowth. I came home to get dry clothes on, get a the toner out of my ears and dry my soaked hair. Never again and I strongly advise you not to use them. It has taken me 2.5 years to grow my hair back and I'm dreading washing it as I fear alot will just break off.

After moving to Bonbeach from Sydney a year ago, it has taken me 4 attempts (and 2 very bad hair salon experiences later) to finally find Beauty HQ. Steph and the team are awesome...really impressive salon space, from the moment I walked in I felt welcome and in great hands. I absolutely LOVED the results of my Brazilian Blowout and I’ll see you all again soon :)

Worst haircut I've had in forever. I have bangs on one side only which come to my mouth while the rest of my hair is past my shoulder. I asked for it just straight across the bottom with a small amount of shaping around my face. It felt like the first time they had ever cut hair. I don't even know how to possibly fix it

I’ve been going to HQ for years and they never disappoint . The staff are lovely and the salon is clean and comfortable and stylish . HQ always seem to know exactly what I want with my hair . They will listen to what you want , and give you amazing results :))

I wasn't going to review but I'm constantly reminded every single day. it's been 2+ months since my haircut and I hoped it will grow out and everything will be fine but it's not. It's the worst haircut I've ever had …
