"I used to go here a lot and loved it had great stuff clean and well organized and decent price"

"A large selection of flooring, paint and hardware options are available in this store that was a former Brick outlet"

"Habitat has gotten greedy!!! I saw a dresser for $120 and I went back a couple days later to buy it if it was still there, and they had changed the price to $400!!! Also, I bought a Smoker cover for my BBQ in November for $5, and now they are selling them for $50! These are donated items, and not all the staff here are paid, they are volunteers, so they can't use the excuse of the rising costs of paying staff"

"Not happy at all With how rude the Receiving Staff is Wow how habitat has gone down hill, If that one Guy in the back with the glasses and spiked hair keeps it up someone is going to knock the chip of his shoulder Such a mouthy Guy maybe some anger management might help him!"

When I first walked into the store, I was pretty impressed. I came to the store, looking for a reclining chair for my senior father who has gone into assisted-living. I had asked to test a chair because I wanted to make sure it works. (My right) They refused and assured me it worked and that they tested it 3 times. Obviously a lie. I appreciated that they had given me a discount because the chair was dirty and they couldn’t get a sticky spot off. However, what was really frustrating is that once we got it to my dad’s place. The chair was not working very well it would recline out, but not in. My husband had played around with the controller it and got it working but that was only temporary. My husband brought the chair back, hoping that the store and make it right but they refused. So I highly recommend anybody who buys anything electronic from the store to make sure that they test it and do not take the staffs word as they will lie to get things out. Very not impressed!!! Why can’t companies strive to make their mistakes right.

I used to go here a lot and loved it had great stuff clean and well organized and decent price. I have been away for a few years working and I just recently went there and I found it as nice as I can say in shambles.... it looked like a tornado hit it....things all over the place dirty most things didn't have a price tag if it did it was with a black sharpee I believe it has no management/ownership. Any way I love habitat for humanity my family has volunteered several times building homes with them. So this is in no way a reflection on Habitat for humanity I have gone to the other locations and they haven't changed....it's just the observation of that place atm and how it's being taken care of. I hope it improves and wish it well

A large selection of flooring, paint and hardware options are available in this store that was a former Brick outlet. I would advise CAUTION if purchasing anything in the blinds. On 2 out of 2 occasions these have been mislabeled. Bring your own measuring tape and double check! Furniture selection seems to vary in quantity and condition. Their SE location has a much nicer selection of good quality items. Staff here are not client focused. Do not expect assistance. Even the fellow at the dock where you take donations seems to find you an annoying nuisance. The cashiers are polite, usually.

Habitat has gotten greedy!!! I saw a dresser for $120 and I went back a couple days later to buy it if it was still there, and they had changed the price to $400!!! Also, I bought a Smoker cover for my BBQ in November for $5, and now they are selling them for $50! These are donated items, and not all the staff here are paid, they are volunteers, so they can't use the excuse of the rising costs of paying staff. EVERY item is pure profit. This used to be a great place for people with low incomes to purchase items, now everything is priced like a Home Depot. For used products! Shame.

Not happy at all With how rude the Receiving Staff is Wow how habitat has gone down hill, If that one Guy in the back with the glasses and spiked hair keeps it up someone is going to knock the chip of his shoulder Such a mouthy Guy maybe some anger management might help him!.. As for the manager She just Yells and scream at you While on her phone the whole time haha, if you cross the line or ask a Question Scream scream (: BTW don't think my wife and i didn't see you loading that white ford Truck With the older Asian Fellow, full of product and accept cash from them :)

Don't bother to donate to this association, they will just waste your time and cost you money. I contact them to donate they tell you to wait 4 weeks for the pickup but they are willing to give you a favour and take your donation if you delivery. We pay a moving crew to delivery to them and when they show up they tell them they wont take the donation because they don't have space. I had to pay twice for delivery and for return it back. What shame that something that could be good is managed so poorly.

Well the manager of this store thinks its ok to blast mexican mariachi music so loud it will give anyone a headache but thats not the real issue, the issue is Habitat for humanity recieves donated goods and then they mark the prices so hight that you may as well buy it new somewhere else. The management team of habitat gets paid vary large salaries, the staff gets paid vary little and the customers are gouged on overpriced donated goods- welcome to the new habitat for humanity!

Disappointing experience at this store. Their policy regarding carpets or rugs is inflexible and inconvenient. Despite a simple request to fold the item for ease of transport, they refused, citing their policy. It's baffling that such a small accommodation couldn't be made, especially when it would take just a few minutes. This lack of flexibility made the entire buying process needlessly difficult.

The price they want for the uses furnishings here is... A bit off. A lot for example, couches that are strange colors or shades that would clash with pretty well any interior and fabric furnishings that didn't get the best cleaning. Asking hundreds of dollars? Wanted to look around for at least 15 minutes but only ended up for 2 after being greeted with those items near front of storehouse.

Went there for the first time the other day. Prices are dynamite. They're great place to go shop. It's used furniture, appliances, tools, you name it. They have quite a bit of stuff. I plan on going there quite a bit. I have no problems for this place. Nothing but positive to say about it. People are polite to answer any questions you asked. They have everything you need almost

I have never had a bad experience with staff at this Sunridge store except for this employee with green hair, I would say this employee was verbally abusive. When I complained to a fellow employee about this employee, his reaction tells me this green haired employee's attitude is the norm. I understand there is a staffing shortage but abusive staff is not acceptable.

The selection of furniture is pretty huge. A lot of desks and couches but the quality is hit or miss. Tools are a great bargain! I’d recommend checking back once and a while to find the best stuff, it cycles in and out pretty regularly. The parking lot can be really busy given the location so plan accordingly!

I like coming here for super deals and find staff friendly, on a personal level, not like they need to, and 'are open and up front' with you. Stock could do with a bit more organization and sorting maybe, but hey... it's a clearance and charity place. Prices are worth it here, clearly. Great job people.

Friendly, polite and efficient pick up, done in convenient time for me as needed it to be done before a reno - Relayed info as to what they could take and most gently as to what they could not take. I was glad many items stored in the garage found a good home - like table saws, metal shelving, etc.

This is my favourite of the two locations. The original location for Calgary. I’ve found several treasures there and been able to complete some projects due to the affordability of the materials. Replaces old worn out furniture and even won a DIY contest through the store!! Fantastic company!!

  • Robin T

Love this store!!!! The staff are always super friendly. I witnessed a manager swear at an angry customer who was also yelling. Her swearing was unprofessional dealing with an upset customer but I praise the rest of the staff and I understand it’s not an easy time working in retail.

  • Kevin Ruddell

This store used to be nice place to buy renovation materials and furniture that was donated to habitat.. habitat charges about 80% of retail …these stores were created to help people buy a lower cost product and some stuff is priced higher than you can buy at a dollar store .. …

  • Richard Bolt

Excellent for your excess appliances, furniture, building materials, etc that you wish to donate. Easy drop off (in my case 3 Ring Binders. They will also come and pick items up at your location. Also an interesting place for buying furniture, appliances, materials, etc.

This place should feel ashamed the prices for used and old items are outrageous you mine as well buy brand new at that point I remember 3 years ago they had great priced stocked and better items do better people are struggling enough! Just garbage out there.

  • Derek T

Great store to save cash on renovation projects, furniture hardware. You have to stop in and check thier inventory regularly as it is always changing but if you are lucky you can save a boat load of cash.

  • Felipe C

Was looking around the cabinets, just to be told off by one of the people who work here. I haven't met someone so hostile in a long time. Stay away!

  • Maureen Ronald
