Hi, Well where do I start??? At the beginning I guess. ;o) So, just over two weeks ago it was my dear special friend’s 50th Birthday. Prior to her upcoming milestone, I already knew in my heart what one of a few gifts would be that I wanted her to have especially. Due to her love of music – it had to be a ‘Treble Clef’ musical note pendant. Admittedly, I searched on Amazon for ideas. However, I knew that I physically wanted to see, touch and buy the jewellery in person. I have lived in Hackney all my life to date and knew exactly what Jewellers I was going to visit. I had been in there many years ago. In the first instance, as I entered the shop, it was very touching to see that a photo still remains on the wall of their fellow colleague whom had sadly passed away R.I.E.P., over ten years now – I am sure. I had visited when he served behind the counter. Immediately, I felt the warmth and welcome of the staff. I enquire about the said pendant and I was introduced to wonderful Billie. She check her stock and unfortunately there was not one available. Nevertheless, Billie did not stop there at all. She took out a jewellery catalogue, flicked through pages and low and behold we came across an amazing looking 9ct gold encrusted cubic zirconia treble clef pendant – perfect! Billie said she would place the order, I paid a deposit, and she would keep me informed. Time was of the essence – three weeks and Billie assured me all would be fine and in time. The following week I had a telecom with Billie and she regrettably had to inform me that although the supplier had initially told her the pendant was available, a few days later they followed up by explaining to her the pendant had discontinued or words to that effect and they could not trace any old stock. Billie was very upset and very sorry as she felt she had let me down - she stressed that the supplier knew of her disappointment also. Nevertheless, I totally understood her plight and was not upset with her at all, it wasn’t her fault albeit I did love the pendant. Subsequently, Billie did some further research and was able to local alternative musical note pendants, which she arranged to have posted to the shop so that I could come and view. Later, that very same day Billie called me with some amazing good news. The original supplier by some miracle located the 9ct gold cz pendant as seen in the catalogue! Billie cancelled the other delivery because the pendant was due to arrive at the shop the next day and she would call me. When Billie did call she confirmed the pendant arrived and acknowledged that it looks even better than the image in the catalogue, I became emotionally excited. At this point, my first thought was a ‘Thank you’ card and flowers for Billie, because I truly felt in my heart that she had gone that extra mile to satisfy a customer…..me. Indeed, I was not expecting to see such a beautiful pendant, as equally as Billie was not expecting a card and flowers. She felt I should not have but I wanted to because she truly deserved it. In addition, Billie was absolutely right – the real deal! Loved it! Following my friend birthday I sent Billie a message to say how overwhelmed with emotion she became when she opened the jewellery box, she gazed at the pendant for ages…..it was a moment never to forget. Billie made me made happy to then see an even happier recipient of this beautiful ‘Treble Clef’ pendant. Thank you so much Billie and Team – I am truly grateful. I've been going to this store since 2007, The Jewellery in the store I find is unique and great value for money. The store can also create your customised designs. I have done a couple myself and I was informed of the process of my personalised design from the CAD design to the fruition of my designs. I am very satisfied and happy with the quality of jewellery and I shall be returning for as long as the store remains in operation. This is my absolute favourite jewellers in London. They have a phenomenal range of platinum, gold and silver, as well as precious stones. There's something in the shop for all price ranges along with the greatest bunch of staff you will ever meet ! Always a lovely pleasant atmosphere whenever you enter the shop and conversation from each of them to match that and the really nice thing is you can put a deposit on items if you are unable to pay for them immediately. I also use them to clean my jewellery and am always happy with the results... Once again it's at a price that's right and always gives me an opportunity to be naughty and add to my collection. I went in on Friday to repair 4 items of jewellery, the staff were really friendly and took their time and told me the value of each item (I'd asked). They also recommended that I put on a 9ct gold safety catch on a nice piece where the catch had broken and I was extremely lucky I hadn't lost it. I came in the following day to collect, each item had been cleaned and seamlessly fixed. Really happy with the customer service and also the repair jobs, I would thoroughly recommend, and I'm looking forward to going in to buy some more jewellery as presents for myself!

This is a very good Jewellery shop , they have been there for years and is run by a really lovely family.You have the 2 Steve's as well as the lovely Billie & also lovely nan & Big Dan !! I took in 2 Diamond rings to be downsized and they did it for me in record time and did an absolutely excellent job I also bought some lovely Diamond rings from there and a chain and ring for the missus after the Pandemic when shops reopened, I definately recommend this Jeweller's , check it out ❤❤

I am so impressed with the service and workmanship of this lovely jewellery shop. I have just picked up three vintage rings which needed lots of work to restore them. It meant such a lot to me to see my late Mum’s engagement ring completely restored. If you ever want to visit a family run shop with lovely people and great expertise this is the place to go. Their jewellery is such good value, I’ve purchased lots over the years for my children. It’s a real jewel in Hackney! Pardon the pun.

I had a really sentimental and precious ring that needed fixing and I couldn't be happier with how the staff dealt with the repair. They didn't end up fixing it on site as they were caring enough to worry about the heat potentially damaging the ring. I'm so grateful that they looked into alternative ways as my ring is now repaired and looks brand new. I'll definitely use their services again. The staff are all so lovely and friendly too. And the pricing is so reasonable and fair.

It's like being welcomed by old friends when you go to this shop, they are all really, really lovely people, & so helpful, they don't rush you, they go out of their way to help, been going here for years, went again today & bought a beautiful necklace & cross, & cleaning products, they have every solution you can think of to sort any fixtures to. Can’t speak highly enough Hackney Jeweller. So incredibly skilled, they managed to resize a really difficult vintage ring for me, that lots of places had told me they couldn’t do due to the complexity of the stone setting. The work is perfect, completely flawless. They even cleaned it up for me and made it look like new again. Will be using them for every piece of jewellery I have from now on! Impeccable service. I only wish I’d come in sooner. I had a silver bracelet and anklet that I’d not worn in ages due to one being broken at the clasp and the other being broken in the chain in between two stones (too small a space to be soldered). Not only did they mend both in 10 mins (all whilst I was still in the shop) but they also cleaned them for me. Would 100% recommend for your jewellery repair needs!

Had a broken 2 headed jaguar bracelet commissioned to be made, re casting of original head in solid silver as 1 was broken due to being hollow. Was treated like a long time customer, was walked through what would be happening, price was broken down step by step. First time in this shop, Billie was really helpful with a repair I need for a special bracelet, and time to have a chat. Friendly atmosphere which always makes me return. Made me laugh when I asked for the prices of signet rings, one at this shop was solid gold for £79.00. On Broadway Market same rings only gold plated are priced at £80! Know which I will be choosing when I treat myself.

I've been a customer at this jewellery store since I was a teenager at school. I used to save my lunch money to buy studs & pay down on gifts for my mother. Very pleasant customer service & reasonable prices. I'm now a mother to a teenager & this is still my favourite jewellery shop. 20 years later & customer service from a child to adult is still great.

I found out about these jewellers when I was looking for someone who did engraving. I immediately found them to be extremely friendly and helpful. My ring was engraved beautifully and they were very complimentary about the fact that I that made it myself. Excellent value for money and I would recommend this place without hesitation.

After being let down by another jewellers last minute; I phone Hackney Jewellers somewhat desperate and they couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. My ring was engraved within the hour and I was given some much appreciated help with another bit of jewellery. I won’t be going anywhere else for purchasing or repairs!

Brilliant service! I had a fine gold chain, and a turquoise stone earring repaired (which was a tricky job). Both were repaired beautifully and the staff were all very friendly and professional. Will definitely come back if I have jewellery to repair in the future :)

I presented the staff with a real challenge of a necklace that was silver but had turned black because I stupidly wore a fake necklace with it. The staff were polite and very helpful! The outcome is so beautiful and looks like the day I got it! Would go back!!
