I was extremely disappointed with the style Danny gave me. I booked with him on the day of a wedding I was going to, to have a trim and get some curls and body. I feel like he rushed through it because his next appointment was there and waiting and staring at us the entire time. He never asked me where my hair parts naturally and instead made a giant rat's nest out of my roots. The wand he used wasnt hot at all and the curls fell straight within half an hour. I had to re-do everything in my hotel room. Terrible that I spent around $80 on that. The two friends I was with had beautiful styles from Taylor and Brittany and they made sure my friends actually liked the end result before dismissing them. It honestly seemed like he just wanted to get me "over with" and I'm fairly certain he wasn't even pleased with his own work. So disappointing!

I have been seeing Danny for the past 5 years and I have never had anyone know me or my hair better! From the moment I walk into the salon I am made to feel welcomed and that I belong there. The staff always greet me by name and I am always offered a Water or Cappuccino as they hang my coat. This truly is 5 star service! Over the course of the years, I have had many ppl ask me where I get my hair done and it is safe to assume that I always have one or two of Danny cards in my wallet. I would say that the only downside of my visits to Riccioli is that they are too short. I am normally in and out quickly but not in a rushed way. It is always a blast to catch up with the team. I wish them nothing but the best! Your Forever Client.

Overall I had a good experience (Westboro Location) Robin my hair stylist was really nice and lovely and my hair ended up just as I wanted it. Only reason I'm giving three stars is because the owner Danny had who appeared to be his girlfriend in the shop. She was wandering around playing on her phone the whole time. Sitting at the front desk but not even looking up from her phone if somebody came in or answering the phones. She even interrupted Danny with a client to show him something on her phone and I think take a selfie? Anyways I feel as the owner he shouldn't have had something that unprofessional going on while people are paying good money for services. Thanks Robin!

This was by far the best hair cut I've gotten in a long time! The stylist listened to everything I asked and answered all the questions I had. The people working in the salon were very friendly and as a new comer to this salon, I was made to feel very welcome. I walked out of the salon completely satisfied with the choice I made to get my hair cut at Riccioli hair salons and am loving my hair cut! I know that after the numerous other "not so great" salons I've gone to before finding this one, I will be returning to get my hair cut again! Thank you so much!

After moving to ottawa it was hard to find the perfect hair salon till i walked into riccioli 5 years and met Danny and the staff. Danny and the staff are really friendly they make you feel like you are part of a family they listen what you want done, always smiling and laughing, The staff at riccioli salon has the magic touch to make your hair look beautiful and healthy I would recommend riccioli to everybody Thank-you so much for making me feel like im part of the family and for making feel beautiful again

I have been visiting this salon for more than six years now. My first time there was when I was looking for a place to do my hair without having an appointment. Anyway, Danny, the owner, offered to do my hair and I was so impressed that I kept on going. I have had different styles (sometimes I wear my hair really long, sometimes really short) and each time I received tons of compliments. This is by far the best salon I have been at and Danny is amazing!!

I am newer to Ottawa and used to get mt red colouring redone from where I live so I was scared to fo somewhere new because hairdressers can sometimes make me anxious but Nicole (the owner) was actually SO kind and nice! Not judgemental at all! Very lovely experience and this will be my new hair salon.

I've been meaning to post my experience for awhile now, so here it is. I loved it. I cut 15 inches off and Tayna helped me change my look for the better. This is one of the best salons in Ottawa. The staff always has a smile on their face and they are top notch when it comes to their work. I definitely recommend a visit at the Rideau or Wellington location (Wellington also has a patio which is great for a cup of coffee in the summer)

I went to Riccioli on Wellington for the first time and got my hair coloured and cut by Jenn and I couldn't be happier with the result. I have never gotten so many compliments on a new hair cut before. She did an amazing job and I will definitely go see her again!
