Personal centimental items stolen from my vehicle after i left it at this shop, just remember to take all your stuff out they weren't even in plain sight you had to go through the vechile to find those items and take them and all the work that needed to be done was outside...as soon as we drive off all the coolant started leaking out causing overheating theres literally no hose even attached after i was told all that stuff was replaced and brand new. Smh Dishonest. Said they test drived it and it was all good but how is it i live 0.3 miles literally 2 minutes from the shop and by the time i pull into my home all the coolant is leaking? now i dont trust anything and i want to see the pictures and old parts that was replaced at this point seeing is believing. After having our vechile for almost a whole month! And paying 5,200.00 for engine rebuild it was filthy like someone was eating and left all their trash ,dried up french fries and smoked all my cigarettes that wasnt even left in plain site my vechile was obviously rummaged through. we keep it and dropped it of very clean and tidy. Even had to go back and buy a sun sheild for the dash board because they parked in the direct sunlight in Az heat for 2 weeks without cracking the windows, so i stopped after driving by and seeing it several times about clearly to get sun damaged. Never Again!

If you've ever needed a professional mechanic, David is the only one I've ever known that can tentatively diagnose any problem over the phone and then verify he was right upon running diagnostics. He knows all sorts of vehicles potential problems, he's seen them all. His team is held to high standards and if there is or ever has been any concern about quality he steps in and handles it professionally. No problems since he's been my mechanic. He preemptively lets me know what to be prepared for in the future just based on his knowledge of expected repairs. I've never been pressured to have anything done just because it probably needs to be replaced or repaired, he just lets me know the conditions and how long I have to go before needing to have any repairs or replacement of parts. He is an excellent, trusted, vehicle service professional. You'd be doing yourself and your car a disservice by having anyone else in the Phoenix Valley repair or tune up your mode of transportation. Seriously though, I've never had such outstanding service and quality work. Thank you David and Half Price Auto Team.

Edit after reply: They did NOT tell me the cost ahead of time, just told me they’d charge for labor. Was told I’d be billed for the time only. If you claim you showed me and I signed off on it, please post a photo as I would have questioned it immediately. I’ve changed these brakes and rotors multiple times myself, it’s an additional five minutes to change the rotors. Nice try. THE DISHONESTY CONTINUES They had a sign out in front for a brake special. Call them to confirm that my car gets the special hundred dollar price. Then I went on to tell them that I have lifetime brakes and rotors so can I just bring in my own and they just charge me the labor? They agreed. Ended up charging me $140 per axle, $40 more than the special one it didn’t cost them anything for parts. On top of that they tried to charge a $35 shop fee to dispose of “rags with brake fluid”. Absolute dishonest ripoff.

I'm not one to write a glowing review unless it's really warranted, which in this case it definitely is. Initially found this auto shop through Groupon got a smoking deal on an oil change. Since I was headed there for an oil change I also got a quote on a water pump that needed replacement on our vehicle. He had great prices & does great work. Darren was so straightforward and honest, a trait that can be very rare in this industry. We got to meet and talk with a few of his shop technicians who have also helped us on a few of our other vehicles. His mechanics know what they're doing, it's like you're getting dealership quality at affordable price. If you're in need of auto repair or maintenance I would definitely consider contacting this auto shop for a quote. Highly recommend!

Perfection? A+++? Not sure how to quite capture the quality of service, courtesy, amd integrity of this business. I had some high end issues and zero expectation thag anyone would even be able to resolve. I'd already tried! Electrical issues bar none are the most troublesome and costly repairs you can do (based on my experience and other than transmissions or full engine replacement). These guys had my isssue not only figured out, but resolved in a couple hours. To ice the cake, they tossed it in for free with the brake replacements I already needed. Can't say enough good things about Darren and his crew. You won't catch me servicing my cars anywhere else. Thank you to Darren and team for a truly world class and shockingly refreshing car repair experience!

David, I cannot thank you enough for your kindness, honesty and great integrity overall. When I brought my car to his establishment they were able to diagnose my car immediately after running some tests. Being it was my transmission so i took it to Camelback hyndai which did not believe me so i took it back to david and again yes its the transmission. So david referred me to another hyndai where his good friend works and they were able to take care and fix my car right away! If you need a repair shop who is honest and will not rip you off i highly recommend half price auto, and the other best thing is If they are not sure about something they will tell you. I had a tricky time finding the place but Daryn stepped outside on this heat to help me find the place. Real good dude a military veteran. Was great to talk to. I came in for a groupon deal. Said I didn't have to order it on Groupon and would honor the Groupon price. I came here for a full synthetic oil change. I am driving from Arizona to North Carolina. I figure I do am A/c check as well just to be safe. Daryn said he also had a groupon deal for the a/c check I didn't even know about. He gave me the groupon deal for that as well. I am usually hesitant to take my car to smaller shops, but after meeting the team at Half Priced Auto I had full faith and trust that they would do a good job for me with my car and they did, they offered multiple solutions for my budget to make sure I understood what I needed to get done, and also what I should get done to help save me labor for repairs that would be needed inevitably. They did a great job for me, and were very competitive with price, and everyone was friendly and willing to take the time to explain to me what the parts did that needed to be replaced and why. I will 100% use half priced auto for all my vehicle needs.

This is a great auto repair shop! Having worked in the car business myself I have pretty good idea when someone is attempting to sell of items that aren't needed or just asking too much for their services. David had me in and out in about an hour for an allignment. He gave me a coupon price that was literally half the price of another shop I was at one weekend before where they quoted me a price that was almost double. As well as tried sell me a bunch of stuff that I didn't need. I will be coming back and referring anyone. I talk with to go see David for the best deal and great customer service!

#1 automotive shop in arizona. I decided to take my non-four wheel vehicle off-roading and busted the oil pan. I was very fortunate to find C3 as they excelled in service, quality, price, and location. Their shop is fully equipped with some really high tech tools which allows them to get things done quickly and dealer quality. I can highly recommend anyone I know to use this facility for anything Auto related. They do everything including specialized motor repairs. feel free to test them out by even trying something as small as an oil change. You'll be happy you did.

Went in to get a catalytic converter put in and when picked up the car the guy stated “we fixed the catalytic converter, but it may lead to other problems”.. went home and the following day started to make a noise I’ve never heard before. After a few weeks of it not going away took it in to the dealership and come to find out after them inspecting it they left out 3 bolts to the catalytic converter!! Never again will I go or recommend anyone to this place! Horrible place to get your car serviced! Take it anywhere else but this place! They are not honest whatsoever.

I had brought my car here once to get a oil change everything was great everyone was friendly. Couple months ago I brought my car in to have a problem fixed finally got it a couple days later I’m still having the same problem. I then took it back and waited a week to hear back from a part that I needed that’s no longer being made. I was told put what I paid last time towards the part that I needed to save me some money I’ve even gave him a website where he could find the part that matches my car ad and has refuses to call me back. Very unacceptable!

Business relationship started off good, then took a nosedive after spending over $4,000 to repair the suspension on my Cadillac XTS. After spending over $4,000 the suspension is arguably worse than it was before. From his techs not properly installing parts, to always needing another part, to having my car now act like a see-saw, it's been a nightmare. Now the owner dodges my calls and won't call me back because he doesn't know how to fix the issue. Just took my $4,000 and laughed all the way to the bank. Beware of this dishonest place.

I needed a front blinker light replaced so i went to a few shops and Camelback Ford and i was quoted no less than 150.00 just for the diagnostic not even the repair I came to see Darren at C3 and he did it for 15.00 so if you need anything that has to do with auto repairs of any kind go see My man Darren because when you leave your smile and your bank account will both be huge because he is not going to cheat you in any way Honest dependable honorable and quick You will feel like your in his family because that is how you ,were treated

This shop is awesome! I got work done on my 08 Subaru at the beginning of this year. I was in need of help at the time i was strapped for cash and needed my car fixed to get back and forth to work. Darren helped me out and did a great job telling me what i needed to fix now and what i could hold off on so i could cut down on the price. Darren and his whole staff are great! I recommend C3 Certified Auto to anyone looking for good honest prices where you won't be ripped off at all.

David and his team were awesome! Had car into another shop and received a quote. I had concerns about their pricing. I called Half Price and received a quote for less than half of the other shop. After David looked at the car, determined that the original diagnosis was incorrect. Instead of the original $2100 estimate, the car was repaired for under $400! Very responsive, quality work and trustworthy. Half Price will be my "go to" shop going forward.

David and Derrin conducted themselves professionally and my 14 M-Benz was in and out the same day for an oil change. I always check under the hood and under the car for any oil spills or damage. Also check interior floor matts for foot prints and steering wheel and dash for oil marks. Everything was clean. They charge very reasonably. Nice people, quality work, time efficient. What more could one ask for? Will happily refer them business.

Went in after being referred by friend when my check engine light came on. The crew there was extremely helpful and informative. I really like that they took the time to explain to me in a priority level what needed to be taken care of . I was treated differently?? My Car wasn't done and I was leaving town..over 2 weeks...didn't want my Jeep sitting at the shop versus my Garage at home. had every intention to Tow it back. Chad acted like a Child who didn't get his way..berated me for taking my car..I was leaving town!! Decided to have someone else Finish the job....why would a company Not respect a car owners wishes and Act professionally?? Would NOT recommend

I came to this business because my transmission was having difficulties, the salesman and customer service rep. Adam was amazing. He made sure the customer service that I received was excellent, and did his due diligence to take care of my vehicle in a timely manner. I highly recommend the shop. Went to this place about 2 weeks ago because my car kept over heating and I told them I was almost positive my thermostat was going out. Well needless to say I don’t think they even checked my thermostat because it has now gone out!! 120$ later and the problem wasn’t even fixed

I had a lot of work done on my truck. The guys there were friendly, honest, and even let me buy my own tires to ship there so they could be installed. It’s hard navigating things like this, but I got lots of quotes across the valley and you can’t beat these prices!
