Visited Hammersmith fire house today to ask for a ‘homes safety check’ an was greeted by an extremely friendly crew. The came out within the hour an carried out an extensive ‘home safety check’ the were very professional and polite and a pleasure to have in my home. I would advise everyone to have a ‘home safety check’ as it’s the simply things such as; keep keeps in the same place so you don't waste time in a fire looking for keys, sleep with doors shut, to help keep yourself and the fire as separate as possible. If I’m doubt please ask your local firehouse to do these checks. Hammersmith crew were extremely friendly and very professional. Thank you Hammersmith fire house, and thank you for your service xx

I was invited there by a really nice firefighter called Mark Essien after a big fire in my area . He gave me a tour of the station and let me use some of the equipment. This was a really good experience especially as I really look up to firefighters and hope to be one of them one day. Really recommend stopping by as the people are really nice
