No integrity dealer! Makes false promises! I am in the market for a truck and went to drive the new Silverado back in February at Jack Wilson Chevy in St. Augustine. HAG bought the dealership recently (within a couple weeks) Love the product. Great truck. I work for a company that partners with GM to provide a Supplier Discount. I gave my sales rep (the sales rep was the same in February as it was today) my authorization number ON FEBRUARY 20th via text message and email. On Friday, April 26th - the salesman asked if I was still in the market - I said I was and asked him to run exact numbers to include my discounts (supplier pricing, military discount *i'm in the national guard* and AAA discount) so I can make a final decision this weekend. And they did. Sent me a picture of the exact pricing sheet ON APRIL 26th. This weekend, I finalized my decision and decided to buy the exact model I had test driven back in February. Called my sales rep this morning to confirm the pricing and ask for some added accessories. He asked me to send the request via text so he could show his manager. His response reads "My manager said Come on in and we will make it happen. We have a price match or beat guarantee." Told him I would be there this afternoon to make the deal. Scheduled appt for 6:30pm. Showed up on time for my appointment. We updated my information in the system, walked around the truck again (that hadn't been detailed yet - it was quite dirty) and went to the office to finalize numbers. THEY RAN MY CREDIT. I qualified for the financing promotion (I knew I would). Salesman went to the finance office and said he would be right back. When he came back - he informed me that I didn't qualify for the quoted bonus bc I had a supplier code and not an employee code and the price was $2900 higher! They were real sorry for the miscommunication. I advised that I wasn't leaving without the deal I was promised earlier in the day. The GM came in and tried to pass it off as miscommunication and said "texting is garbage and a bad way to do business". He offered to honor the price, but not the add ons that were agreed to less than 12 hours earlier. Classic bait and switch. They provided information in bad faith and wouldn't honor the offer they accepted previously. The manager I dealt with, who was arrogant and unwilling to do honest business. I showed up to the dealer thinking this would be a quick in and out. Run Credit, sign the papers and be on my way. 4 hours away from my family and no truck later and the Hanania Auto Group is 100% to blame. I hope this review helps others find a more reputable dealer and they lose more than just the $2900 they should have lost by honoring my deal!!!
Where to begin? I brought my truck to Iron City Ford on 12/16/20 and told them that it was leaking oil. After not hearing a word from them about it for over a month, I went up there on 1/20/21 to check on the progress and was literally told that they “had no idea why the truck was there”. Apparently someone had closed the ticket out on 12/31/20. Finally on 1/31/20 I received a call that the truck was ready. I went up there to pick it up and was told a different reason that it took so long to get done. This time they claimed that the Oil Pressure Sensor was on backorder. This was a flat out lie because I had purchased one from Ford for another one of our trucks while this one was in the shop! Surprisingly, or not surprisingly really, oil was continuing to leak from the truck so I took it back on 2/24/21. I was then told over the phone that the upper oil pan seal needed to be replaced and that it was going to be an 8 day job. 4 days to get parts in and 4 days to fix it. It’s now May 19th of 2021 and the truck is still sitting there with work nowhere near complete. This is absolutely ridiculous! I’ve gone up there multiple times between when I dropped it off and last week and have been told multiple things and excuses. The mechanic working on it told me to my face and in front of the former service writer that he would have it done over a month ago! When I came to check on it, he told me that he “made myself a liar”. I’ve been told that they are short on people, I’ve been told that they can’t get the motor to settle back in, I’ve been told so many lies that I don’t know who to believe. The fact of the matter is that this repair is covered under warranty, so they are taking their time and doing non-warranty repairs instead of working on mine because they can make more money off of them. This is a complete joke of a dealership and if my truck wasn’t taken apart, I would’ve taken it somewhere else. The whole thing is just mind blowing! Maybe by 2022 I’ll get my truck back and be able to use it for work! But I need it done immediately. This is costing our company thousands of dollars a month that it’s not in use. What the heck do I have to do to get you guys to get my truck fixed and back to me? Do you guys even care about your customers?
Just to start, the star is for the the sales experience the day of purchase. Everything is down hill from there. My wife and I found the vehicle on line that was what we were looking for, so we drove over 100 miles to look at it. Test drive went well and we purchased the car. The car soon revealed its problems so it went to the local dealer. After the dealer checked out the problems we pointed out, it was quite clear that there was not a thorough inspection done on the vehicle. My bad, thats the chance you take when you buy a used car but you would expect more from a reputable dealer. So we decided to cut our losses and trade in the beast after about 3 months. Here is where the disapontment in the purchasing dealer starts. I thaught I was free of the problem until I tried to get my refund for the extended warranty that we also over paid for. To get the refund the dealer needs to fill out the paperwork and send it to the warranty company than they send the mony to the dealer who sends a check to me. Sounds easy? No its not. The finance people couldn't fill out the paperwork properly and can't even communicate with the warranty company. after about 4 months, 15 phone calls and 15 unreturned calls, two different finance people, and two general managers a check finally was sent to the dealer. Than the dealer says they have no record of it, so we start all over again. After another couple week they straighten things out only to find out that the refund was only 20% of the amount of the warranty. Only had it for three months so I felt like I needed an explination for the refunded amount. One of the General Managers agreed that it dident look correct and assured me he was going to check into it. Never heared from him again and even ignores my text. I will end this with saying it was not a good experience with the dealer because once they get you money you are nothing to them and don't buy an extended warranty even if the dealer recommends them until you know more about them. Definitely don't buy VALUEMAX PROTECTION/WESCO.
I was getting ready to drive 120 miles to purchase a vehicle for my daughter from this dealership only because they had they color that she wanted. After negotiating all day, back and forth with a young women over the phone and questioning their numbers, suddenly someone showed up to purchase the vehicle. She claimed her manager didn't know we had been talking about the car. Yet, she had to check with him frequently since we were negotiating the price. They only care about their money and nothing else. They could have told me they had another buyer when i initially called about the car. They chose not to b/c they don't care if they disappoint you. in this case, my daughter. Do your homework and stay away from this place. They are very dishonest and will inflate hidden charges. Beware of things like Hanania exotic performance plan ( that may rise the selling price by more than $3,000). This is not extra CPO warranty on the car. It is an arbitrary charge that you should not have to pay. Remember, market value sale price is irrelevant. What matters is what you're comfortable paying for the vehicle. do not let them scam you. Do your homework. Remember, MSRP is irrelevant when buying a used vehicle. what matters is what you're willing to pay for the vehicle. Don't be fooled by "credits" they claim to give you!! Make sure you question all the numbers you're presented with and compare the numbers with other dealerships before making a decision. Apparently, their dealer fees are higher than Audi, Mercedes and BMW!! That should be perceived as a major red flag....
Subaru of Orange park part of hannania group So sales and management seemed to be nice enough. Made process fairly quick and easy . My issue came on delivery of our certified preowned . Car was extremely dirty when we looked at it as they had just traded for it. Thats fine, however upon taking delivery of the car I think someone forgot to was the car . There were streaks of dirt where they missed "brushing" the car. I get they pay these "lot guys/gals" minimum wage but they should never brush a dark colored vehicle .They also should maintain a better quality of clean on thier ceritied pre-owned cars. Left stains in the headliner, coffee or soda in the cup holders .I didnt expect the car to be my standard, but would have been nice to have recieved a mostly cleaned vehicle . I dont fault the salesman, but the leadership of the shop for not making sure it was ready to be delivered . I soent an entire day detailing our new to us car to make it right. All I n all the 3 star rating is for lack of cleaning the car, staff was friendly and made purxhase easy ..lack of cleaning the car to a certified pre-owned standard is why the 3 stars. Certified pre-owned should look as good as a new car in my opinion.
Purchased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee for 36k over 6 years from the dealer only to find out within 90 days of owning that there is frame damage (car fax showed no accidents- untrue) subframe is tilted, which caused HUGE alignment issues and shocks are bad which caused the tires to bald completely and unevenly. According to the mechanic it is not fixable without going to a body shop to fix the frame then fix the alignment then shocks then tires. The Dealer has refused to give us any assistance and we have found out that the inspection on the car was done the day after we test drove, and agreed to purchase the vehicle. They made us leave and finalize sale the following day. The car was "passed" in all greens during the inspection- which means the vehicle was inspected and in perfect condition. We brought it to the dealer and they are saying we caused it because we had the vehicle 5k miles. Both shops I took the vehicle to has stated that there is NO WAY POSSIBLE we could have done this and that the car was in an accident. We will be going back to Hanania one last time to file formal complaint. They will either help us or not. We will do everything in our power to get this addressed.
Hanania Auto recently purchased Jack Wilson Chevy in St. Augustine and unfortunately doesn’t seem to care at all about the community or longtime patrons only their own bottom line. THEY ARE NOT WORTHY OF YOUR BUSINESS!! My elderly Mother shopped for and purchased a new vehicle on May 24th at which time they tricked her into believing she was getting a 2019 model when it was actually a 2018 (the window sticker had been removed, folded and thrown on the floor behind the seat)! That’s bad enough but then sadly she fell ill and passed away 3 weeks later. When we took the car back to them (garage kept and only 167 miles on it) we assumed they would do the right thing and take it back at a reasonable price under the circumstances. Instead they rudely said the best they could do is buy it at the wholesale value $5,000 less than she paid paid for it!!! SHAME on you Hanania for destroying the longtime excellent reputation that this dealership built in our community. You obviously have no ethics or concern for your patrons. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS AUTO DEALER. They don’t deserve it.
Update: 2/22/2021. I originally given a two-star rating not for my sales experience at Acura but for the service staff. Now fast forward to today The day after I had spent the entire weekend negotiating with Tony Roman at the Volkswagen dealership on a used car to give to my daughter for a 16th birthday. Secured the funds for the agreed upon price and was on my way to the dealership this afternoon after I had been told he would hold the keys so that I could test drive the vehicle prior to purchase. While on my way there I received an email telling me the vehicle I had spent all weekend negotiating on just sold. I'm flabbergasted and disgusted with such ridiculous sales tactics. Even given the fault to the service staff at the Acura dealership previously I had moved on and was determined to be a lifelong patron of this automotive group. That will not be happening now, I can't believe this is how this business is ran.
From the Sales Manager’s offer letter being a misrepresentation of the actual vehicle mileage from 6 miles to more than 700 miles. We were thinking that our vehicle was 6 miles new, but what we ended up with was a 700+ mile loaner. Not what we expected, and additionally we were surprised by finding body damage when taking delivery on our “new” vehicle. Besides the salesman no one came out to introduce themselves nor apologize for the misinformation received. Subsequent emails to the sales manager and the general manager both were met with not even The courtesy of a reply. We appreciate that this dealership had the vehicle we wanted to purchase but your inability to sell the customer service aspect of Acura of OP will have us doing business anywhere but here. Recommendation to customers looking to be respected for spending their money on a major purchase of a vehicle to travel anywhere but here.
Bought 2 new sun's in a 6 month time frame (1) $25,000. &(2) $41,000. Was TALKED into buying extended service plan. Wife wanted a CAR so we sold the last one and cancelled the plan over $1000. easy. Well now almost a month later still waiting. They are telling me it takes longer than 7 days to get from Atlanta to Jacksonville, Fl. Also Jack's executive assistant ms. Cindy Furgson messes up4 days ago told me if I would wait till Monday she would have my check ready : and guess what now all I hear is no it's not ready because she thought it was coming from Flordia . I would advise anyone out there Do Not Buy from the Hanania group or from Hyundai auto. They both like to take your money but, will lie their asses off not to have to return money that is owed!
I recently purchased a used car through Fiat Alfa Romeo Maserati of Orange Park and a very satisfied the the service provided. Mr. Christopher Blackburn (Sales and leasing Consultant) was very friendly and professional. He has years of experience on him so all the information he provided was appreciated. I would highly recommend him, he is patient and you don't feel rushed or like you are being judged. Patrick Snider (one of the managers) was very accommodating as well. They both made this experience short, sweet and painless. Even the Finance Manager (Woody) was friendly and professional. I would definitely come back to purchase a vehicle through them due to their customer service and professionalism.
I purchased a brand new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from Westside Hyundai and it had 44 miles on it. I drove it for a week. It has been the shop for the last 19days. It needs a new engine. They don't want to replace the car. They want to upsell me a car so I would have to spend another 4500.00. This makes no sense. The sales manager ask me if I put money down because I had bad credit. I HAVE GOOD CREDIT AND THAT OFFENDED ME!! Salesperson was excellent but the dealership doesn't care about the customer. They want me to trade in the car and loose 3800.00 to get a car that will cost me more money. The car was faulty from when it was sent to the dealership. Corp Hyundai doesn't car either.
Buyer beware, I went in for the guaranteed purchase of your existing vehicle pre-owned from the ad campaign boasting KBB value and they refused to do what the ad said. I wanted to sell my QX30 before looking at their selection to solidify my trade value based on their advertising, prior to selecting a vehicle to buy. We bought a $60K SUV from Hanania Infiniti last year and almost bought an Audi this year and these blankity blanks lost the Hanania group some serious customers. Did business with the Coggin group instead! Also reported the group and ad campaign to the FTC. Avoid at all costs, not worth it!
Went in for a recall notice. They never told me what the recall was for. The bathrooms were gross. They trashed my car (threw all my personal belongings around). One of the employees helped himself to a bag of my chips and left the empty bag in my car. They left their paperwork in the car. On top of that, they left all my manually locking car doors unlocked, and since I had errands to run after my visit, me and my car were left vulnerable for a few hours at three different stores. I will never go back there and I would discourage anyone thinking of it to run the other way.
The location under this group Miami Acura does not back up what they list on their website. When I mentioned to them what they have advertised their exact words were "I don't know where you are seeing that" It's on your website. 120% of your trade, lie! 5 days buyers remorse, lie! It has been only 2 days and they are telling me they will not let me out of the deal. Debra Canter, the manager hung up on me!!! I was being very polite and told her that she has not paid for my trade yet so per the contract I am going to get my car back.
Jack Wilson and his son Brian ran a wonderful Hometown dealership for years here in St Augustine. My experience with the new owner, Jack hanania, was horrific. The salespeople lied to me, ignored me, lied again, and when I contacted the owner, after he said he was going to help, I was ignored for five more days. I would never do business with this dealership. This is what we don't want in St Augustine. They won't be around long with this kind of service
I have been delighted by the people I have worked with at Jack Hanania. You just don’t get this great of service anywhere else these days. Everyone is helpful friendly professional and anticipates my needs without me having too ask. Especially Chelsea when I called. She took the time to follow through and make sure I was helped. Thank you for the refreshing experience.
We went to Hanania after having a horrible experience across the street at another dealership. It was an absolute pleasure working with our salesperson, Dacia Gross and all of the other staff at Hanania. We never felt pressured and they took the time to explain everything about our new Chevrolet Z71, and financing. We highly recommend this dealership and Dacia Gross.
I have owned Hondas for over 40 years . My most recent purchase was at their Coconut Point dealership in Estero, Florida. NEVER have I had such problems. The service dept hasn't fixed my car in 14 months of trying, they are rude. The service mgr told me to take my car to another dealer and the general mgr never stood by his word to fix my problem.
Talked to a salesman at Hanania and discussed my trade in and cash down to order a 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV. Deal was set, so I thought. When the car came in 4 months later, they offered 5,000.00 below book value and wanted 3 times the initial amount down to cover dealer add ons. What a joke this place is. Don’t waste your time like I did, shop around!!
By far the best experience I've ever had in leasing a new car. This was all thanks to Cole. He went above and beyond to show me all the features the car has that make my life so much easier while driving. I cannot thank him enough for all his help. If you're looking to buy or lease a new car I recommend that you go to Mazda and ask for Cole.
The finance person and GM Adam Conner are completely incompetent and completely disrespectfully. I am ashamed of myself for believing anything I was told by them. They instructed me to lie to the new finance company. I now have to seek legal help. The only reason one star is checked is because, it would not let me post without checking one
Westside Genesis SERVICE Department is regional biohazard GARBAGE! ☣️ THEY scheduled ME an appointment for paint repair, just for me to get there and get the run around (wE dOn'T kNoW aNyThInG aBoUt iT) 80 minutes of my time & 70 total miles of my gas wasted! Nitwittery & nincompoopery at its finest! …
Best place in town to buy an automobile! This is my 2nd purchase here and I highly recommend anyone looking to purchase their next vehicle to check out Hanania Auto Group. Jack Hanania Jr. went above and beyond to put me in the vehicle I wanted at a price I wanted. Great experience, thanks to everyone involved.
Recently lessed 2 vehicles from Hanania Buick in St. Augustine. Heather Carlo was our Sales Consultant and we are 100% satisfied. She is knowledgable, patient and willing to go the extra mile for her customers. We recommend her to anyone looking to purchase or lease a vehicle from Buick in St. Augustine.
Roger and the entire service department team at Infiniti Orange Park Have been stellar. They went above and beyond to make sure that my car was perfect. They were courteous professional and the best car dealership experience I’ve ever had. I would recommend them with a five star rating to everyone
Another great experience at Hanania. This time referred a friend to their Hundyai dealership Got another super deal.... Mark Hanania was great to work with again and we are so greatful for his kindness and professionalism . I recommend seeing Mark for whatever your auto needs are!!
This is a great company to work for, been here for 4 years now and I really enjoy it. They have a great team and promote from within the company which is hard to find these days. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a good career with advancement opportunities.
Got given a trade value from black book, ironically enough I had screen shots from running it myself. Devalued my trade by $8k while adding in roughly $4k of fluff to the out the door price. Do your own research, read through offer sheets, or you might regret it later.
Hattie Bramlitt saved my day when she came to my house on her lunch break, to help start my car. That was not the first time she went all out to provide service with a smile! Hattie possesses expert knowledge of today's automotive industry! Thank you Hattie!
Around May of 2022 I purchase a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe from Infinity of Orange Park, car had 99158 miles. Since then, it has been in the shop at Hyundai of Orange Park on 4 different occasions for routine maintenance to major engine work.
I got my oil changed that worked out fine . However Miss Carmichael left to lunch and left me with negative stimulus people y'all were busy and left one person that didn't have enough automotive training.. But everything turned out okay.
My recent visit was not good. They overcharged me for oil change and tire rotation even though I had coupon. I argued about it and was given a lower fee, but still higher than what the other car shop would charge. Beware of them.
I've been in the business for a long time and I have to say, this has been the best place to work HANDS DOWN!! Sales and Service departments really do what's right for not only the clients, but really support the staff as well!!
Awful pushy salespeople unsuccessfully tried to bait and switch on an offer. Wife waited three hours for oil change then discovered items she left in vehicle were missing. Avoid ALL Hanania dealerships! Ripoff artists!
The service centers is very poor. They don't care about the customer and what they want done. They give the run around. Got 2 different diagnosis from two reputable mechanics and not good enough. One from the base.
I have consistantly been pleased with the service I've received at Hanania Hyundai. Today I was very early for my appointment, Juan got me right in and service was completed faster than promised. Juan rocks!
I didnt come here to purchase a car, however mr WA Andrews courtesy and professionalism made the difference. i then purchased the vehicle. He made the difference, otherwise no car would have been purchased
I’ve been looking for a car for a few weeks. I met with Theo and he promised to find just what I was looking for! He was patient, honest and very thorough. Great experience and glad he was my salesman.
The service is always perfect. I own my third car with Audi to be serviced at this dealership. Prompt, courteous, easy to deal with. Beautiful facility. Could not ask or hope for a better experience.
Service was outstanding, Mike was extremely helpful and very nice, as well as honest, which is VERY important to me. Services offered were priced way too high, but otherwise great experience.
Super place to purchase an Acura. Gino is a superb salesman. He goes above and beyond what is necessary to take care of his customers. We have purchased 15 vehicles from him once the years.
Clean, nice people, water, TV, internet access, trail mix, hot water for tea if you want.... Comfortable chairs and vending machines. Makes waiting for your car a comfortable experience.
Some staff was friendly the other ladyjust handed me the paper no explanation of whats wrong car still making the same noise i found out one problem but not what i came for
Westside Hyundai got the vehicle I have from y’all’s dealership and I’ve had nothing but problems with it and they said they fixed the problem with the vehicle but didn’t
Jose, Chris and Michael were stars is selling a car to me and they scrambled to save the day when one of their transport vendors was an utter failure. Thank you.
The best Pre-Owned company ive been too.. with challenge credit, LIFETIME warranty on a used car! I was referred here and im absolutely Happy I came here!!!!!
Just bought my second car from here Jack Jr. and Gino were awesome as always. Hassle-free no pressure and a great deal! Thanks guys see you on the next one!
A GREAT company to work for! I have been a long term employee for Mr. Hanania and I can honestly say that he cares for EVERY employee and EVERY customer.
Treated me like I was a millionaire even tho my credit wasn’t the best . This is hands down the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Great team
We got a great deal. The detail service center was a bit slow, but I love my Avalon! Mr. Douglas and Mr. Neal were super friendly and professional.
Waited on promptly. I was kept up to date regularly on the status of my vehicle since it was a longer visit than normal. I was well taken care of.
Needed an oil change before leaving town. Philip Graham in service took good care of me. Offered a car wash too. Was in and out in under and hour.
Great service department especially Rachel at Audi dealership in blanding . Rachel always done great job handling any problem with my car .
I had a short wait time at drop off. I like the text video status reports. Had routine service, recall work and set of tires done same day.
Overcharged Everytime I come here every time it's over $1000. I came in today with a free AC check coupon it still cost me $195 dollars..
Great culture, outstanding employees who truly care about the customer! It’s definitely a five star experience at Hyundai of Orange Park!
Aaron in sales was lovely to work with, attention to detail was great! Manager Johnny was also great to work with and made buying easy.
Not happy with Audi dealership’s service at all. I love my Audi and want a newer model but don’t want to have to drive to Gainesville
Service is always top notch! The team always handles my needs in a timely manner. Wouldn’t go anywhere else to have my Audi serviced.
Every time I take our Fiat in for maintenance, the staff is outstanding, the maintenance was outstanding, and expedited.
Stay away!! Service dept ripped us off. Do not go to the store in St. AUGUSTIN . DO NOT TELL YOU THE TRUTH. Go elsewhere
Staff is really friendly, and they have a great selection of new and preowned vehicles. Would definitely recommend!!
I'm on my Acura RDX there they have a good selection of automobiles, and the staff is very helpful
