Zero stars not even worth 1 star Harvey Norman Factory Outlet High street, Epping, Victoria Manager Review I do not recommend this store , the manager is an arrogant and unprofessional person in the behaviour he displays towards customers. An extremely disappointing recent experience at Harvey Norman Factory Outlet Epping. As a loyal customer, I have always valued the importance of respectful and courteous customer service, but unfortunately, my recent interactions have left me deeply unsatisfied and disappointed/ frustrated. On 27/09/2023 I visited your store and encountered a level of rudeness and verbal aggression from the manager that I found to be completely unacceptable, how customers are treated should always be a top priority. During my visit, I attempted to discuss an issue in regard to an appliance that I purchased that was damaged, I was accused that I damaged the appliance as the appliance was Sold in perfect condition and that it was damaged by me during installation, which is not true as the appliance has not been installed yet, I felt that my concerns were not only dismissed but met with unnecessary hostility. It is crucial for any establishment to maintain a respectful and understanding attitude towards its customers, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this fundamental principle seemed to be lacking during my experience at your store. I left feeling unheard, disrespected, and discouraged from returning in the future, as a manager you should take the necessary steps to ensure that customers are treated with the respect and the courtesy they deserve. Such behaviour is detrimental not only to the reputation of your store but also to customer satisfaction. Extremely Unpleasant Shopping Experience I recently had the misfortune of encountering a store manager at Harvey Norman Factory Outlet Epping who left me utterly appalled by their behavior. My visit to the store turned into an unsettling experience due to the manager's rude and disrespectful conduct. From the moment I approached the manager with a concern, their attitude was anything but professional. Instead of listening to my issue, they immediately accused me of lying, making me feel like I was the one at fault. It was clear that they had no intention of providing assistance or resolving the problem. What shocked me even more was the manager's complete lack of respect for a paying customer. Rather than addressing my concerns with empathy and respect, they chose to completely dismiss my concerns. This type of behavior is not only unbecoming of a manager but also completely unacceptable in any customer-service-oriented role. I am left with no choice but to escalate the issue further, as it became apparent that the manager was not interested in providing a satisfactory resolution. It's deeply disappointing to encounter such an unprofessional attitude from someone in a leadership position within the store. I sincerely hope that Harvey Norman Factory Outlet Epping takes this feedback seriously and addresses the behavior of this particular manager. No customer should ever be subjected to such treatment when seeking assistance or resolution of issues. I cannot recommend this store to others due to this unfortunate experience and will be contacting head office in regard to this incident.

1. Horrible Customer Service 2. Store does not follow any process or policies setup by head office unless you write a complaint to head office 2.1 - I asked for a price match which they refused and then I had to write to head office and they still refused to honour the price. They only honoured the priced after Igot adamant and asked them to give me in writing that they can not price match 3. Ask for a price match, they will refuse to honour it 4. Ask for a refund, they will ask you to walk out of the store before they kick you out 5. Store Manger is a real pain to deal with. He is very aggressive and has no manners on how to talk to a customer 6. This is a factory outlet and sometimes their boxes are damaged if you order and stock is unavailable (I haven't experienced it but this was told by the store manager over the phone to me) Long story short, there is a store in close proximity in Thomastown, so save yourself some time and go to that store

Purchased a westinghouse fridge with pole handles from harvey norman factory outlet in epping. However I was called on day of delivery and told that they didn’t have that one in stock and mistakenly sold me a different fridge and was told I would get a $100 discount for another westinghouse fridge (wbe5300sb). I accepted as I was in urgent need of the fridge. I Was not told that it was seconds or had damage. The fridge looked fine when we received it. Later we had dents appear on the fridge door, smooth when touched but can see the dents when light reflects onto it. No kids that could have caused them later, only 2 adults in the home. At the same time any food we store in the fridge spoils within a couple of days, we have even had eggs spoil in the fridge, never seen that before in my life. Just cleaned ice from the fresh food compartment. Had the fridge for only 3 years and this problem has been going on for a while

Wonderful experience with the store. This is my GO TO store for all my future tech needs. Pricing is great and the staff is willing to make an effort and ensure that you get the right thing that suits your needs. Rick is a thorough gentleman and steps into your shoes to understand your needs and work in your budget with no nasty surprises at all at the end. The recommended installers from the store prove to be an icing on the cake in continuance to the professional service one gets from the store. They were on time, keeps you informed, reasonably priced and did a great job. One can never make out that the installation of the home theater system was done during the build by the builder or after handover. Seriously not even a single scratch or mark on the wall, no damage none at all and I cannot fault it. They cleaned after and left the property spic and span. Keep up the great work guys !!

The factory outlet is not at all like a normal Harvey Norman. The store is quite small and stocks mostly kitchen items, stoves, ovens, range hoods, fridges, dish washers, etc. Washing machines and clothes dryers as well. Few other small household appliances, coffee machines, toasters, vacumns, radios etc etc. Mostly end of line or ex display stock.. I found the shop quite dark and dingy, better lighting could really improve this. Prices can be a little cheaper, and in some cases incredibly cheaper. I saw one high end griller for $3995 marked down to $995. The staff member I dealt with was really knowledgeable and was up-to-date with most of the products in his area. It worth popping in here especially for kitchen whitegoods as you can save quite a bit if you don't mind end of line products.

We went in with the intention of purchasing a new front loader. A sales person came over, looking almost annoyed that she had to speak to us. We asked a couple of questions to be met with no answers, no smile, no sales help at all really. She barely said 3 words. When asked if the one we were looking at had a certain function, her answer was "I dunno, it should". It was at this point we walked away only to be stopped by the loveliest couple who were a hoot and we chatted away for 20mins or so with them giving us awesome advice on which one to buy for our needs. During this time, we were met with nasty looks from other sales people watching us but never approaching us. We then walked out to spend our money somewhere that actually wanted to sell us something.

If i can get no stars that would be good! This store does not deserve any stars whats so ever! Customer service is appalling and dont even get me started on the management!they really need to go back to train their customer service knowledge to understand how to treat a customer with respect after all customers pays their wages. Never again i will step foot in this store. They absolutely did not care about my money spent there and did not even bother to make me feel comfortable to spent my money.i have taken my money to another store who had the time to sit and discussed my needs and purchase.

Honestly, the only time I loved visiting, was when the manager was there. The other staff, just do not seem keen in serving you, unless you look like you want to buy something. They also chat bon stop to each other, ignore you and then you have to go and ask for assistance. I would only go when I want to buy something, but will make sure I'm served by the manager, because he treats me like I can afford to buy things. Next time, I will wear a lot of fancy clothes and jewellery, to see if it makes a difference in getting the others to serve me!

Like any clearance like outlet you may or may not find what you want and it could take multiple visits but today I found the range fantastic across what I was looking at (oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, rangehood). Think the key is to visit outside of busy periods. Michael was so generous with his time and knowledge today giving realistic, useful, unbiased advice which I was really grateful for. I'm not quite ready to buy yet but feel more knowledgeable about what I want and what to look for. Absolutely great service and I'll be back!

Recently bought a washer/dryer and was impressed with the range and prices. Would recommend anyone purchasing big ticket white goods to check here first. However, when loading the washer/dryer into my car the employees dragged it across my rear bumper and boot to load it in without warning. I now have scratches and chunks out of my paint that will cost much more to fix than any savings I made….. Had I have known they would so carelessly load it in my car I would have put my boot protector down or just lifted it in myself!!

Good prices, happy with the purchase but sales rep didn't Even mention that TVs are box damaged units. I totally agree that they are factory seconds but atleast i need to know that box is damage BEFORE I MAKE FINAL PAYMENT. My suggestion is "Do your homework before going there bcz some sales guys are not aware of detailed specifications of models on display." Tv section had strong smell of weed, I DON'T KNOW WHY but it was so strong

The prices are good and so are the products. However the store manager, R****t . He has a major attitude problem. Argued with me on the phone and told me not to ask any stupid questions, delivered a Dishawasher by dragging it through the mud on my front yard and then told my husband he can’t bring it in the house as it’s now all muddy so he left it outside the house. Because of him , I’ll take my money elsewhere.

Husband and I came to get new items for our first place living together and we got a great deal on a fridge, vaccum and airfryer. The service was impeccable, special shout-out to Rob who helped us select the items. This store has a really great selection of fridges, tvs, washer/dryers, cooking appliances, and we were greeted as soon as we walked into the store. Thanks for everything! :-)

Waited extremely long period of time for someone to service us to be able to buy the most suitable washing machine for us but we gave up after waiting 20-30 minutes. We went to buy it from somewhere else instead. This company made record profits while stealing jobkeeper money because of the pandemic but too cheap to hire enough staff for customers. Disgusting, greedy and useless company.

Avoid this store at all costs, the staff wont be of any help if you have an issue, they will be most courteous as long as you buy items. Pay few dollars more and buy from Good Guys and JB if you want after sales service. The store manager will not be helpful at all.

Disappointed, when I think factory outlet I think cheap. Not end of lines at retail price. Stopped in as I as heading for the shop next door. Wouldn't take the time out of my day just to visit Harvey Norman outlet.

This is a good place to get anything you need but at a much cheaper price. Almost all the equipment are brand new with the occasional item with a scratch or a dent! But it is to be expected from a factory outlet.

Good place to go and negotiate prices..good way of finding minimums that retailer is willing to offer. I would have purchased if the item required was available. Staff was really helpful and proactive.

There is a big difference in between HN and this one. Staff seemed very low knowledged on the items they are selling. Probably would work out for people trying bargain buys and seconds.
