We were a group of 6 women, ending our VERY BUSY Year at Havana Nights..It was recommended by a friend.. and Oh My Gosh.. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED in our decision we made. There was a Live Band who played great music The DJ's music was AMAZING It's all about FUN,FRIENDLINESS,DANCING, JAZZ,RELAXING,HAVING A GREAT TIME& MEETING NEW PEOPLE. The Atmosphere Inside HAVANA is AMAZING. Seating Is ENOUGH VIP LOUNGE BEAUTIFULLY SITUATED. The Crowd just as GREAT..Nothing and NO ONE UNRULY..SAFE ENVIRONMENT SECURITY inside and outside..Really great too. From Reception Desk to the Bartenders,waiters, waitresses,"Bouncers" as they called, Manager..ARE ALL Well informed and VERY COURTEOUS..THE FOOD VERY TASTEFUL AND WELL PLATED...Had a Special visit from the Chef being our 1st visit and what a great Guy..Well Spoken and clean.. Also, not forgetting that the Menus and Wine LIST for those who drink..is VERY INEXPENSIVE TOO.. SO GO OUT THERE AND HAVE A "HAVANA NIGHT" AS NEVER BEFORE...

Well just arrived after 2ish pm today the 03 September 2022. As i walk up the stairs a guy comes out. Clearly a security of some sort. He clearly scrutinized the way I was dressed and he has discriminatory behavior, looked at me and my friend top to toe said we can't come in because of the way we dressed and people are watching a game inside. By the way i was dressed well enough to go to work earlier the day. The security was clearly under dressed for the place if i am to wear a suit to enter. I wanted to see what the place looked like inside and hopefully spend some money there. I would not recommend this place to anyone due to this discriminatory behavior on a Saturday afternoon after work. Your time will be much better spent at Pirates further up the road. Response to the owner : Firstly Congratulations. However u clearly misunderstand the context of my review.

Firstly, it was our first night on the town, since covid lockdown 2020. And was it a night to remember. Firstly, when you arrive the security details make you feel safe and secure. Then when you enter, the friendly, well dressed hostess makes you feel like a guest coming to visit. You feel the vibe and the friendly buzz. The furniture and decor is crisp and clean. The crowd is mostly adults over 50, but when they get to the dance floor, it's all youthfulness and the fun contagious. Get down there, and get down on it....

Really liked the setup, the decor and the space between tables. Service was great, loved he efficiency. Please dont charge people at the door, if they com8ng to order platters and drinks. Yes theres a band, which was good, but the sound was a bit off, check that out.. How ever who pays to enter a restaurant you paying for food and you tipping the waitress. Good venue overall, but watch that door fee, it nearly made us turn around and go elsewhere. Loved the fries on the platter and they both ate well priced for the amount of food on it. Not stingy at all. Go check it out, and I love the fact that they totally divide thevsmoking section from the non smoking. A breath of fresh air Literally

WOW WOW WOW. Where do I begin. From the outside this place deceives , as I did a little eye brow lift when we got there. But step in and you are transported into a little funky jazzy supper club with lovely decor. Food is prepared by an amazing chef in a little pantry kitchen that made chips, calamari, steak taste like you are eating at a well known restaurant. The best part of this place , are the staff. Friendly, helpful, fun. And of course my new friend, Jeremy. Oh my hat. I thought I was in a 5 star establishment. This man's attention to detail is amazing. He made everyone feel like they were the only guests there. Well done Jeremy and staff

Club is nice and big and spacious. Good music and fantastic musicians. Service is pathetic and the food too. For the platters on the menu it does not indicate how many the platter serves..so you are surprised when it arrives and for the price you have an expectation...my jalapeno poppers was burnt...the chicken tender strips were dry...the plate looked bland. The vibe is lacking waitrons are slow and don't know their drinks, there is no vibe behind the bar. I will go again, but just for the music and the drinks are not too expensive.

We have been coming to the Sunday jam session since its inception and we have yet to be disappointed... it is so refreshing to have a venue of this caliber right here in Plumstead.... from the moment we arrive we are made to feel at home by all of the staff and Jeremy ensures that all our needs are met.... once the band strikes you are entertained by the highest quality jazz musicians in Cape Town.... keep it up Havana ... we will Continue to support

We were driving past, saw the cars and went to have a look. There is a smart casual dress code...if you have neck tattoos you might struggle to get in. There was a band playing and they have a DJ. It was quite busy. The bar staff are friendly and cocktails not too badly made. The prices RR... They have dance floor and seating and you can order something to eat. There's slot machines available too.

Lovely venue. Friendly staff. Food, not so good. My wife had to send her order back twice. Very limited menu.

We had a awesome experience.The manager and all the staff gave us great service.The VIP seating was perfect, the band and DJ was fantastic.We brought our guests from Durban and said that was one of their best nites in Cape town. Definitely will be back

I dont think they were prepared for the number of people that attended, and as a result service was slow. Also i requested a drink and the waitress said it was not available, however when i went to the bar i saw a bottle of my favourite drink. This is not the first time service was lacking. The rest of the venue is amazing

This tapas bar and lounge has left the best impression. Do yourself a favour and give them a try. The service we received for my Husbands 40th birthday was amazing. Jeremy and Kwena is a real mean team. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes and beautiful presentation.

Sunday night JAM session is absolutely fabulous.. music, food and service with a smile. The manager Jerome went over and above requirements. Definitely a place to recommend for Sunday nights slow jams or let your hair down.
